A Dying Soul's Last Call

OoC: Oh, no! R_g has written another odd character fiction! Well, you are the ones to suffer. This one is about Nemo.

BiC:

"How far is a soul willing to wander?
When does it decide it's too much?
When finally exhausted, does it break?"

Nemo read the words from the sheet of paper he held in his hands.

He had found the 3 lines in a small booklet he owned. No one knew of its existance, so when he found a paper hidden within the pages it surprised him greatly.

How was it placed in a book no one but himself knew about? Who placed it? What was the purpose of it all?

Questions.... They contribute to so mant problems in the world. Yet, without questions, how can there be answers?

This booklet was special to Nemo. It was unique. Only five copies were made and he held one of them in his hand. It contained information that was once thought lost. All the names of demons who died in the human rebellion were inscribed in that booklet. His mother's name was among them.

"It could be a riddle..." Nemo thought to himself. "There really is no other explaination."

So many thoughts were rushing through his head. In his mind, he knew of only one explanation for this, but it was so farfetched he tossed the idea out.

He rubbed his temples in confusion. Nemo paced back and forth in the inn room until his legs ached.

"This will have to wait until tomorrow...", Nemo jumped into bed and as he slept, he has a vision. In it, his mother appeared.

"Nemo... The paper in your booklet is special. It holds the key... The key my son. Find that key and I may rest in peace at last." His mother was whispy and looked to be fading. He could feel his body chasing after the spector, but he couldn't reach her. With every step his strengh would leave him, until, at last, he awoke.

"I know what I must do."

OoC: Yeah.... Short..... This isn't chapter one though. More like somewhat of a prologue......
