Character Fiction Policy

Approved BA members are free to create stories, and threads to their will. But please I must advise you to post it all in one thread.

Rules:

- Only use approved characters, of course.

- Each Chapter has to be longer then at LEAST 5 paragraphs. I don't think I need to explain how long a paragraph needs to be do I?

- Do not comment on the authers work until he is finished, unless he specifficly tells you you can comment before that.

- Do not create a story using another persons character without permission.

I hope you don't mind my saying so, but the MODs don't delete threads. If anything, they just lock them. If you can't find your story, that's most likely because you didn't post for a while and it fell off the list. If that's the case, just scroll down and expand the timeframe from which threads will appear (there's a rollout at the bottom of the fiction section; just leave the thread first). It should be a bit further down the list. Try expanding the timeframe to one or two months. Hope this helps!

Yeah, Sakume, Wielder of the Sword is right. Your story just fell slightly behind the month time frame that your options are more than likely set to.

That's the url to your story. Just click it and you can continue writing. You just fell behind, so I doubt it's against the rules to post in it, even if it is over a month old. Or, you could just start a new thread and bring over the rest of the story.

Kettleboy, no not really. You can battle with your made up character, once you get it approved, but it's usually not about Zelda at all. It's just a place to take out your frustrations and roleplay a battle scene with another character...

Not at all. In fact, it's much more like an animè battle scene. ^_^ Check my characters in my sig--none of them are based on Zelda. In fact, few characters are based on Zelda nowadays, thank the Dear Sweet Lord. I'm pretty sure there was at least one guy who tried to get Link approved, though. Pitiful, really.

No, all characters are original and so are the battles themselves. If you want to join, feel free to get your own character approved. Just read the stickied threads in the Character Approval section first.

How do I become an "approved" Battle Arena?

Go take a look at the "New to the Battle Arena" thread. It should answer most, if not all, of your questions.

Several months ago, I asked if these counted as reasons to upgrade a char, and no one answered. So, I ask again. Do these count as reasons to get your char upgraded?

Yes, I do believe they can count toward earning upgrades for your character. As long as you're developing your character, then I see no reason why character fics shouldn't count toward upgrades.

Question.If we make a fiction,are we allowed to double post when noone replies?

Answer: Yes.

Yeah, I have a question: When making a story in here, do we have to have an approved character? Cause I want to post a fan fic that will have a main character that won't be used anywhere else except in this story I'm making. Because if it has to be approved I'll go a make a quick one but he's not really gonna be used for BA'ing.

This sub-forum is strictly for stories of the characters used within the BA.
