All anime is originally in Japanese.


In addition, we need more to go on. Do you like action? Horror? Suspense? Mystery? Romance? Sci-Fi? Fantasy? Cyberpunk? Giant robots? Magic? Sword fights? Intrigue? Strong characters? Strong plot? Confusing plot? Humour? Randomness? Slow pace? Fast pace? One season? Ten seasons? What?

Finally, why must it be in Japanese? Ignoring the fact that all anime you can buy now will have both sub and dub tracks stuff like Cowboy Bebop has a better dub than sub, and the original cast was all-star, so that's no mean feat.

But off the top of my head, Casshern Sins, Birdy the Mighty, Nodame Cantabile, FMA: Brotherhood, and Zetsubou Sensei all should enough to satisfy.

it may have started out in Japanese but I want one with ON SPOKEN WORDS EXCEPT JAPANESE.

All anime one can buy has both Japanese and (here in Canada) English tracks.

why are you making a seemingly easy question so difficult? I just want someone to recommend a good amine to me that is spoken in ONLY Japanese, two parameters, thats it.

Most anime dvds come with the option of watching it subbed or dubbed. So like really, it can be anything cand.

You're not providing enough info and you're worrying about stuff that doesn't matter.

All anime DVDs are, at least where I am (and I assume where you are), available with the ability to freely switch between English (Or, in your case, German) and Japanese, and turn subtitles on and off at will.

Further, what of shows that sound better in English than in Japanese, such as Cowboy Bebop? (Or whatever the German dub equivalent is.)


Anyways, you still have only given us vague outlines of what you like. Give us some examples of other shows/movies/books/games/etc. that you enjoy so we can try to work from there.

Hey thanks for stealing my wall I was getting tired of it, having it not there has relly given me a new out look on life. If you want a good anime in Japanese then look no further. Yami To Boushi To Han No Tabibito is a yuri that was never adapted into english. Its nothing hardcore its just a love story. The main protagonist, Hazuki, travels through many differnet worlds which are collected in books looking for Hazumi. Thats all I will say. No spoilers for you.

Alright, why do you want something in Japanese? Why is that one part so important?

Well my favourite anime series of all time is Bleach, I love that shiz.

are you talking about when the Japanese VAs try to speak English and it ends up coming out as Engrish?

I am taking Japanese in College and we are meant to listen to Japanese, the teacher recommended we watch anime in Japanese, not that big of a mystery you know.

So you'll want a simpler show, then, not something like Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex which has treatises on meme theory.

I see that the only people who should watch animes in Japanese are the Japanese. Weaboos shouldn't watch anime in Japanese, that just strengthens their "weaboo-ness".
