Gargoyles
Remember that awesome show back in the 90s that was complex and dark, then Disney gave it the shaft by replacing the writing teem after season 2 and thus the show jumped the shark at the 3rd season and then canceled when the ratings dropped, accursed Disney executives.

Yes, it was excellent Entertainment. One of my favourite Cartoons and Comics. I also thought it was cool the way they got so many people from The Next Generation to voice the characters: Riker was Xanatos, Troi was Demona, Data was some elf dude, and Worf was Coldstone.
They also had celebrities like John-Rhys-Davies voicing Macbeth, Tim Curry as some mad scientist, and even LIEUTENANT UHURA! Oh and correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Goliath voiced by the same dude who does The Arbiter's voice for the Halo games? Oh, and Bronx was voiced by Megatron himself.

That. Show. KICKED. ASS!!! I never missed an episode, and even watched reruns of the series. I never do that!
And NC is right. Goliath's voice is awesome. The intro music is crazy. So epic for a cartoon opening. I just can't stress enough how much I adored this series - well, before Disney messed with it.

I've kinda been wanting to rewatch this. When we were going through A Midsummer's Night's Dream in junior high, I always imagined Gargoyles' rendition of Oberon, Titania and Puck. That kept it interesting and made it easier to get into.

Gargoyles is one of my all time favorite shows when I was a kid. I remember I would watch all the episodes. The characters were great, there were some great villians and it was just an awesome show.
Personally I enjoyed the Goliath Chronicles. Well the whole Quarrymen part mostly.
