Avatar: The Last Airbender

I didn't notice a thread on this, so I guess I will start one.

I really love this show! Next to Death Note it is probably one of my favorite TV shows!

My favorite character(s) are:

Toph: If only I could find a woman like her... It may sounds sick and perverted, but I actually developed an infatuation with her. (I just pretend she is older then she really is) Plus her former lifestyle is similar to what I had to go through in life. (Being over protected by parents)

Zuko: Badass character who reminds me of what I went through in my early teenage years. Truly a favorite of mine.

Iroh: Seriously, who DIDN'T like Iroh and why?

I guess I also like how the series actually ENDS instead of going on for 300 episodes! (coughdbzbleachnarutocough) (Plus the ending is epic and satisfactory)

So what are your opinions on this show?

I like it. Love the animation. My favorites would have to be Iroh.

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender

Aang is my favorite. Part of me wanted a fourth season or spin-off or something when i saw the scene where Zuko asked his father, "Where is my mother?" I just felt they should bring that to a close. Plus it would be nice to see how the world gradually repairs itself. Other than that one scene the series finale was perfect and definitive.

wait, I don't remember a melon guy. Do you mean the cabbage man? Anywho, Nick really had something with this show and now that it's over they've gone back to their craptacular lineup. It did not get the air time it deserved.

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender

I was skeptical of this show at first. At first glance it looked like Nick was trying to do a cheap anime knockoff. After a few episodes though I found that I was hooked on it. It was so nice to see a cartoon on Nick that had an actual storyline and plot as compared to other shows like Spongebob. The characters were nicely developed, though I would've liked to learn more about Iroh and Zuko. In the episode Tales of Ba Sing Se we got a small part of Iroh's past and it was only a really sad part. And they really should do a 4th season to cover all 4 elements.

Disenchanted: That's what i was thinking. Have an air book or something. Show Aang as an adult. There's got to be something they could have done!

Great show. I've seen every episode a few times.
My favourite character would be Toph. She was just an allorund awesome character. Second would be Sokka. The guy is just too funny to not give him credit.

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender

Yes, the melon guy was another "meme" of sorts within Avatar. (Did I spell that right?) I really don't want them to make a 4th season, for fear of milking the series. But if they did decide to do it, I would be willing to give it a chance.

They're not going to make a fourth. I really can't see that happening.

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender

Well why couldn't they do a 4th season? They left season 3 off with a mini cliff hanger. Telling us that there is more to the story.

They could make a spin off series about Zuko maybe... But I would prefer if they didn't for fear of milking.

I think they left a cliff hanger just for us to imagine what could happen. But I dunno, it's a cliff hanger isn't it?

I'd just love a fourth season(as long as it's good!) that takes place in the future. It would be nice to see what happened to the people post-war.
