Teen Titans!

Who here likes the show Teen Titans! I am a HUGE fan! It is my all time favorite show!

I also collect the Teen Titans Go comic books, ever since the TV show *sniff* ended.

I'm actually making a fanfic which blends the Legend of Zelda with Teen Titans, and I'm making Link a titan!!!

I own seasons 2-5 on DVD, and I'm getting season one soon.

My favorite characters are in order as follows:

#1. Starfire (I actually have a BIG crush on her. Yeah, I know, now you think I'm a dork)

#2. Raven (she reminds me a lot of Midna)

#3. Robin

#4. Beast Boy

#5. Cyborg

I had a friend who loved Teen Titans. That's about it. (I don't have cable)

I remember that series. It was cool. The characters were interesting, and the leader was Robin from the Batman series. I regret not finding out much about Slade, like his background and the man behind the mask. The last episode I remember was when Terra came back to life with amnesia, and there was a new villain (or maybe not.) who could meld with objects like brick and steel.

Yeah, your talking about that strange creature on the last episode. I still wonder what it was. It sort of has powers similar to Kevin from Ben 10: Alien Force.

In my fanfic that I mentioned in my first post, I come up with an idea of who Slade really is. Heres a hint: Its a villan many Zelda fans would know.

The Teen Titans Go comics sort of pick off where the TV series ended, so if you still like the show, you should get the comics (oh, and I'm not talking about the old comics, I'm talking about the newer ones).

Is it possible to read them online?

Man, I remember that show.
But its been years since I seen Teen Titains. I used to like that show, but once the t.v programing system thing kept on playing it over and over again, I wasn't really excited about the show anymore. So I would say I am adverage about that show. :/

I watched a bit back in its prime. I wasn't a huge fan but I did watch new episodes whenever they were on. I stopped paying attention in the last season. The season involving Raven's father (Trigon was his name?), was my favorite. Though after the series ended I found out about the original Titans comics and some of the key differences between the show and comics, such as Slade really being called Deathstroke the Terminator and Terra being more heartless.

I've tried to find online scans, but could never find any.

But there should still be a few at any local comic book store, or you could just order them off the internet.

There are also three Teen Titans video games, including one for the Gamecube (its was actually available for all systems at that time), which I have. If any of you are interested, you could probably find it in the used gamecube games section of your local video game store. If your a fan, you would like it. I know I did.

I loved cyborg's Booyahs!
They kicked ass. it was a fun show. But it never had a good ending to me. Like so many cartoon network shows.

Ah yes...Teen Titans one of the last great shows of the golden age of animation. I loved the heck out of it, and now I want to get into the old Titans comic books from the 1980s. It was "The New Teen Titans" comic series that helped formed the basis of the animated Go! series.

I hear there are two Titans movies in the works, the first is an animated movie based on the Judas Contract from the old comics, where Deathstroke (Slade) uses Terra to betray the Titans. This will have nothing to do with the Go! series and thus the movie will have a much darker tone where Terra is more psychotic and cold hearted.

Warner Bros. is in the midst of making a live action Teen Titans film, but so far the only confirmed info is that Robin will be in the movie.

So is Terra supposed to be an unsympathetic character? I did feel sorry for her, and was glad that she came back to life.

Yes. She also had full control of her powers.

Well in the comics she was, The Go! series was aimed at younger viewers so somethings weren't put in. For example Slade was known as Deathstroke the Terminator in the comics but the sensors were afraid to use the word "death" so he was called by his first name, Slade (full name: Slade Wilson).

I actually liked it back then. It was a guilty pleasure of mine. Despite the fact people complain how the Timmierse was finished by the time this show came on, I felt this was the last show to actually get my attenton until "The Batman" came on. I stopped liking these shows for the lack of originality, but I feel Teen Titans was pretty fun to watch.

I saw quite lot episodes, because of Raven. I really loved her. <3

That's odd. In the cartoon, she joined Slade because he said he'd help her with her powers. I guess in the comics she joined him just because she's bad?

Yeah in the cartoon they portrayed her as a sort of "lost soul" while in the comics she was a little on the crazy side. She also had a love affair with Slade.

Tara Markov, half-sister of Geo-Force, Brion Markov, was the illegitimate daughter of the King of Markovia. While in Markovia, she came under the care of a Dr. Helga Jace, and through her experiments, Terra obtained Earth manipulation powers: specifically, the ability to control all forms of earthen matter. After obtaining these powers, she left Markovia for the United States. Unlike her more heroic brother, Geo-Force, Terra had deep-rooted psychological issues, believing that, with their powers, they should rule Earth rather than help the weaker masses. As a result of this belief, Terra became a mercenary, doing dirty work for others such as Deathstroke the Terminator (with whom she shared a romance, despite being fifteen years old). She joined the Teen Titans, fooling them by staging a battle versus Deathstroke. She then operated as a spy for Deathstroke, eventually giving him the information he needed to kidnap the Titans, with no regrets.

How can you have Beast Boy at 4th? I haven't seen many episodes, just the occasional when its' on, but here's my order: 1) Beast Boy 2) Cyborg 3) Raven 4) Starfire 5) Robin.

That's squicky, Terra having sex with Deathstroke. That would be much less sympathetic.

I used to love that show! But I really only liked the arcs with Slade and Terra. I really could have gone without seeing the episodes with Raven's father.

My favorite character has got to be Beast Boy.
