is lucky star a bad anime?

I just want to see it but ..........
but some say it's a bad anime and I will be wasting my time.

Just watch it and decide for yourself. Don't be a sheep and not give it a chance because your friends might not like it.

I am neutral towards it, as I have never seen it.

It's definitely not bad. It's a solid show, but it takes too long to hit its comedic stride. So if you are worried about time, you'll be better off with Azumanga Daioh.

Cromartie High School or Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei are also better options within the genre - but only if you have an appreciation for loonier/darker comedy.

The appeal of Lucky Star lies in pop-culture references. You won't like the show if you can't get the jokes.

I personally think it's cute and funny. Slice of life comedy is the best.

It is one of the shows that make me gave up watching anime.

Basically half of it is made of up Japanese pop-culture references and the other half is made up of Seinfieldesque random arguments over stupid things. You don't get the full impact unless you are actually Japanese, but if you enjoy watching that sort of random arguing you'd like it.

Maybe I didn't get the jokes, I think it sucks.

I thought it was absolutely hilarious.

Lucky star is pretty much a bad show, but if i liked it or you liked it...it doesn't matter what other people thinks, unless they are calling to cancel the show.

I liked it. It's agood show, but could go a bit ''over-the-top’' sometimes with its humour.

But I think you might enjoy yourself with this one.

I like it. There's not too much story at all to keep track of, it's cute, it's funny.

Card Captors give me my fill of lolis so I don't watch Lucky Star.

But Lucky Star has teenage girls, not little kids. Though to be honest, you really can't tell with a few of them.
