South Park: funny or just stupid

ok, i have been watching south park since i was little.
everyone around me says that i is a gay show, and dont make sense.
all of my friends, well most of them, says that they like the show.

what are your opinions?

South Park is VERY original, as being one of the most "infamous" adult-oriented cartoons. The writers were very flexible to do such ideas.

And it's hilarious!

I think the show's hilarious.

In fact, it's humor is somewhat intelligent when compared to other adult-oriented cartoons, like Family Guy or Robot Chicken. Also, it gets bonus points for all the subliminal messaging and references to current events.

South Park is amazing, and defintly more original that other adult cartoons such as Family Guy or Beavis and Butthead.

ive been watching it since i was 2 or 3
my parents dont like it though
but its hilarious
most of my friends wonder why i watch it
they said it was stupid
its hilarious in the variety of ways kenny dies
then the adults try to find some retarded moral to the whole thing

It is good in its humor and wit and bad in its absolute crudeness.

Overall, though, I have a positive look on it.

South Park is amazing =D. It has the best satire I have ever seen! My whole family loves it too =P.

I personally do not like the show, but it is very original. It has it's moments.

Usually it comes off as being hilarious.

I and friends of various ages (from 13 to people in their 40's) agree that it has this amazing thing. We all know of the line between funny and offensive, and South Park is constantly fighting with that line and moving it around, almost as if they were sword fighting.

Take for example the episode in which Cartmen fakes having Torrets-something syndrome, and had him cursing every second. They probably couldn't have gotten away with that if they didn't have that little plot there. They have a really great thing going on.

I love South Park. Its hillarious and the humor is definitly more intelligent then other shows.

yeah pretty much..i use to love it during its first three seasons but then i just didnt really watch it anymore mainly because i would watch it at my friends place since i didnt have Comedy Central at the time..
i actually watched an episode last night and wasnt really impressed..some of it is still funny but for the most part its kinda meh...im just not into those kinda shows anymore
