Naruto: The Thread.

This is your new thread for all things Naruto. We do not need separate threads for discussing Naruto's hairstyle, a spelling error on a sub and for talking about the plot. Keep it to this thread, please.

good idea making one thread that covers everything! Anyway, I have just gotten to the 2 year skip in the manga. I'm very far behind many that are already at the shippuden series, but I must say, after reading only 5 chapters of the newer manga, I'm already liking it alot better. many of the characters, especially garaa, look much better in their new outfits, hairstyles, etc.

Anyone else getting the vibe that it's a bit odd that the new guy looks like sasuke, and the guy incharge of the root is keeping his ring eye covered *points to kakashi's headband* and he always keeps his left eye closed *points at kakashi's left (sharingan) eye*? *Is very suspicious*

The "new guy" is Madara Uchiha, he gave kakashi one of his sharingan eyes

I'll say this is good news. anyway, the new look Naruto has in Shippudden is pretty cool.

I'm gonna echo the praise for the Shippuuden series, I like the new look of a lot of the characters, and everything is just more polished and pleasant to watch/read. Although, is it just me, or is new-Naruto kinda weird? I mean, I suppose he is supposed to be taller, more mature, smarter and so on, but I kinda associated the less-developed equivalent of those traits with Naruto, so to me it's like a defining part of him is missing. Not that I don't like new-Naruto or anything, but he just seems a little less Naruto-ey to me now.

On a side note, I miss some of the old music from the Part I anime. I hope they either bring it back later on in Shippuuden, or bring it back for the English dub.

Yah, I miss some of the older music to but I'm enjoying it. Sometimes I wish they would speed up the episodes.


And it hasn't been proven that Madara is Obito, Madara is using Obito's body, etc. However, with the way the chapters have been going it might be true.

And the new guy who looks like Sasuke isn't Madara, that's Sai. By the end of the arc, he doesn't seem like he really has a purpose in the anime but with the recent manga chapters he probaly will since Jiraiya left and told Tsunade to watch out for Root.

IMHO, finding out that Tobi was Uchiha Madara was the most shocking moment for me in probaly any story I've read. Because Tobi was border line retarded.

Ok, so I'm all caught up in the manga. What's going on with Nagato? I'm a touch confused on how he turned into the 6 pain

Well, it looks like Itachi is dead, finally. Needless to say, kikz is very sad about this. But I'm wondering about what will happen since Sasuke has no reason to resist capture from Team Kakashi. Of course he will, but I'm starting to think that there's going to be another gigantic Naruto vs Sasuke fight, and one of them will probably die this time.

Why the crap are we all spoilering?
