How is it contradictive, point out my faults before you speak. All I was saying is that you can't base your hatred for Family Guy simply on the fact that something is the same thing over and over because all shows are the same thing over and over.

I'll admit that the series has gone down to a degree, but they still crank out a jem every now and then, enough to keep people watching to say the least.

♥♥♥♥ty anime is way worse than ♥♥♥♥ty cartoon.

I don't really like Family Guy that much. I just hate how many times Peter "remembers" something he did in the past. It happens so many times! South Park is much better than that show...

I don't really like Family Guy or The Simpsons.

the 4 movies make up season 5 and from season 6 is supposed to be coming out either later this year or early next year, from what I have read.

The new Futurama episodes are planned to be aired on Comedy Central in the middle of next year.

Although they did say that there was a possibility of Fox getting them (earlier, maybe?) if they wanted.

I think the only time when i watch is when I'm bored. But I do enjoy watching Stewie, he is adorable.

Anyone who hates Family Guy deserves to be brutally raped and murdered. Then brought back to life, then get brutally raped and murdered again, and so on and so forth.

The Simpsons isn't funny. Futurama is alright. Family Guy is hilarious. I used to be like you, and disdained it just for the fact that it's over-quoted, but after sitting down and watching it a few times, it's hilarious.

Much funnier than The Simpsons.
Much funnier than Futurama.
Much funnier than South Park.

That's a pretty odd assumption. Of course it is that way in a lot of cases, but for me personally I used to find Family Guy to be the most hilarious thing ever. I thought Futurama was a lot less funny. Now that I've matured I really have grown away from Family Guy's humor and towards Futurama's humor.

I still find Family Guy to be occasionally funny (so yes, I don't really dislike it all of that much, personally.) but it is definitely no longer the funniest thing I've ever seen.

Yeah, I am, because a lot of them haven't. Your own post supports my theory (in that you've watched the show and like it), even if it is a vulgar generality.

Conversely, I find Futurama's humor to be less mature. While the stereotype is that Family Guy is a series of random jokes, it's actually not anymore over the top than Futurama in the least. I've watched a fair bit of both programs, and I feel that Family Guy's political and religious commentary (usually made by Brian) is a step ahead in terms of maturity than the strictly situation humor of Futurama.

Sorry for not clarifying, but I meant my own personal maturity in that I personally grew out of Family Guy's humor.

Although I do think that, in general, Family Guy will be hilarious the first few times you see an episode, but then it will lose it.

This post is wrong beyond believe. I assure you I have watched more family guy then you have, but i still find it a horrible show. I was there when no one watched it, i was there when it came back, I was there when it came back again, I was there when it became popular, I was there when it went downhill, which ironically was the same time it became popular. family guy does not have enough wit in its whole series then futurama does in a whole season. Futrama,and the simpsons tackle on far more issues then family guy has, and has done it far better.

the whole show is just a series of random j0kes meant to offend people. It lives on shock value and 80's references, and both get VERY stale once you have watched it for the 2nd time, but then again its not that great the first time around. they don't make jokes they make references. they don't deliver a message, they just deliver offense-ness. Usually I be in support when it comes to shock humor. Aristocrat joke, racist jokes, you name it, if its offense I probably laugh my arse off to it, but family guy shock humor just gets trying, its fine the first couple of times, but it seems to always want to offend somebody, and when you do that, it becomes predictable. And with shock humor thats not the way you want to go, its called shock humor for a reason, it has to be unexpected.

trust me i could go on, for the sake of getting something to eat i won't. But my main problem with family guy is the writing and how predictable it is.

Simpsons did it.
