Iro confidently walked towards a tree, muttering his new name under his breath.
"Sye Sill." Iro smiled. He reached the tree, stood, and then reached for his staff.
He touched the shadow-like substance the harness was made of. The shadows disappeared, and the staff fell. Iro's hand flew through the air to catch it.
Iro brought the staff up in front of his face, muttered a single word, and spun the staff with one hand.
The silver shone in the sunlight, Iro raised the staff above his head. He turned the staff to a horizontal position, and threw.
The staff sliced through the air as if it was bread. A blade hit the tree. The blade was stuck.
The rest of the staff spun, and the wood of the staff hit the tree. The blade was lodged out of the tree. The tree fell, and the staff spun back to Iro.
Iro caught the staff, jumped, and stabbed the stump of the tree with one blade. He muttered an incantation, and the stump was eaten by shadow magic to reveal a hole.

Iro fell through the hole. He placed the staff onto his back, and the shadow-like substance became a harness again.

After landing, Iro was in the middle of a castle courtyard. He looked around, and found a sign reading "The Dome".
Iro felt drawn to the door next to the sign. He took a step toward it, then another, and then another. Soon he was taking many steps, and he reached the door.
Iro pushed the door opened.
A roar emited from the opening. Without warning, a shadowy, thick strand shot out of the door and wrapped itself around Iro's leg. Iro was then dragged into the dome.

Welcome to the Beginner Class. For your first lesson, I want Iro to land in his new room in the Dome, then have Iro wander around the Dome a bit after gaping at his room. He should end up back at his room. Be sure to describe the settings as best you can.

OoC: Beginner? What? Meh... Whatever... I should've gotten a better feel for Iro first.
