~*~ [Safer] Zack's Training ~*~

Destiny sometimes binds people together; weaving a plot with twists and turns. Zackary Himora knew this better than anyone. The sun began to hide behind the light green oak trees. Zack had recently departed from his home village in search of his true memory. All he knew was all his memories were fake. He craved to explore his unseen past, and without combat training, he was worthless. He set off for a place that was a mere legend. At this point, he was ready to believe anything. His throwing knives rattled in their case with every heavy step. He was nearing his destination. Zack had been traveling for over three weeks now. At times, he began to think that the Dome didn't exist. He refrained from most pessimistic thoughts from then on out. It just had to be real...it had to...

An eerie twilight filled the formerly purple sky. He was in search of a man whose name was passed down in legend. This man was a combat expert, knowing over ten times what Zack knew. After months, possibly years of training, he would resume his search. But for now, he needed the training. Zack climbed up a grassy hill to find a huge facility about a mile away. He gently smiled. Zack's efforts were about to pay off. He was ready to drop to his knees and collapse, but something kept him going. Maybe it was the thought of getting stronger, or possibly the idea that he'll finally uncover his past. As he neared the Dome, he wondered what it would be like.

"This is gonna be awesome!" he roared. A flock of black birds shot out of a nearby tree. The branches jiggled. Zack was now in front of the door. Large pillars surrounded the building, each with odd symbols on them. Dim chattering exited from inside. Zack was ready for anything. He placed his two hands on the cold steel handles, engrossed them tightly, and then heaved them towards him. A light emerged from the open door, revealing man and beast of every assortment, roaming around.

He was finally there.

Another thing, while I know you enjoy to post in your own font and font size, for this thread, please post without additional coding (this doesn't mean don't post with Italics, as those are necessary to all writers). You said you had trouble making long posts, but since you post with a larger font, it makes it hard for me to see what is short or long, as I am used to the standard font. So yeah, it'll help me if, for this thread only, you post in regular size and font. Thanks a bunch!

Alright. And I'm off to do the pre-assignment. Oh, and those weren't Italics xD.

"Ah, you must be the new student, eh? I am Tokumaru Kyô, the Heavyflame Samurai! Nice to meet you!" he said sweetly to the dumbfounded Zack. Was this his new teacher? It was very gauche standing there, silently around hundreds of others bickering away. Zack finally realized that he needed to respond.

"Uh...hello. I am Zackary Daniel Himora, but call me Zack. And yes, I guess you're my new master," Zack said quietly. It wasn't that he was shy, it was just that he was expecting some huge, bulky man with battle scars all over his face and limbs, with a huge blade that was as big as an average sized door. Instead, he was about to be taught by...him... "So, master, what makes you a 'Heavyflame' Samurai?"

Tokumaru chuckled to himself. He drew an ear-to-ear smile and replied. "Follow me to your room," he said, placing his long arm around Zack's tiny neck. Tokumaru's pure white kimono seemed to dance with the breeze of the open door. He took Zack down a long hallway with doors parallel to each other. People were going in and out. Zack expression hadn't changed yet.

"Well, I am referred to as the Heavyflame Samurai because of my intense abilities that involve some type of fire. But my history can wait for another day because I have a duty to uphold. We need to get down to business. Welcome to the Dome, a place of combat and training. I am your master, Tokumaru. Here, you will be put through intense training to one day become as powerful as me, or hopefully stronger! The Dome was originally built as a combat arena to settle feuds and grudges until they decided to build a structure and make it into a school. Now, people from the four corners of the world, and even alternate realities, gather here for one huge schooling experience––are you paying attention?"

"Wa...?" Zack asked. Tokumaru took a deep breath, and then sighed. He opened up a wooden door. It creaked as he tugged. "Is this my room?" Tokumaru nodded slowly with a gentle smile. Zack rushed in as Tokumaru started off. He slightly grinned to himself as he walked down that narrow hallway.

"Heh, that boy is one of a kind."

Okay, most of the time your usage of Tokumaru was pretty good. Good. ^^ Now... before you move on, just know that it's not "Heavyflame" samurai, but "Heavenflame". :3

Go ahead and move on to lesson 1.
