Hey, this sounds like fun! Since I'm using my character, I assume I carry on where I was from my main thread. Well, even if I'm not supposed to, I'm doing it anyway! IC Agno decided to make a move. The Samurai fight had drained him of what little energy he had had, but he needed to get out of this place. The burning houses and bones on the floor where giving him the creeps. He picked himself up, and moved through the streets. Eventually, after much cursing and bruising from rubble, he emerged into a trail leading down the mountain. He moved at a fast pace, calling upon every ounce of energy he had left. The sun was high in the sky, and it beat down on Agno's back. He looked into the distance for some hope of help. He found it in the form of a blue horizon. It was hard to make out, but as he squinted he saw the ocean along the edge of the world, and a beach even more clearly. "Where there's a beach, there's shade!" Agno excalimed excitedly, and rushed full pelt towards the beach. He didn't know how long it took; the only thing in his mind was the desire for shade and hope. Finally he stumbled onto the beach, but saw no trees, no food, nothing at all. He sank to his knees and moaned pitifully. He sat there staring out to sea, and after a while collapsed into the shingle, sending up wisps of smokey sand. He had tried. He had failed. The only thing that remained was for him to wind up in paradise. At least he would be with his family. He smiled faintly as he lay on the soft sand, and the ocean waves lapped at the beach-head.

OoC: Yey^^ group assignment. I'll use my two characters - Ithil and Aira.
IC:Aira walked around the fishing village. Everyone was so nice to her. She felt like she had found a second home. She was staying at the local inn, where she had a decent room and food on the table every night. It was paradise, comparing with her situation before. She had rough times after leaving her home town. No place to sleep, days without any food, and the terror of some sleepless nights, due to possible attacks of distrustful men. She had been in the fishing village for over a month. It was then that the dry season began. The well had dried up, not a single drop from the sky. She helped with everything she could, providing food from hunting trips she made to the nearby forest. The men didn’t bring food from the seas anymore. They had been missing or hiding from something. No fish could be seen near the fishing boats, so the men started to hunt with Aira. She kept on walking towards the centre of the village to present the villagers with hunt. This time she went alone. By the time she got to the centre, it was almost midnight. She immediately knew something was wrong. Everyone was reunited there around a fire, secrets circulating, plans being made, knives being ready for some kind of war. “What’s the matter?” she asked to the owner of the inn. “She is here, people. She is here!” He shouted in reply to Aira’s question. The villagers all turned to face her. Everyone grabbed their weapons. “The dry started a month ago, by the same time you got to our village.” The major of the village proclaimed. “People claim to have seen you execute dark magic in the forest; they say that you have a deal with the Devil, to keep the land dry. You doomed us all. Now you must pay for your acts. I’ll pronounce your sentence. You must be killed to lift the curse, your filthy hag.” After all had been said, the villagers moved forward to kill Aira. “Don’t be superstitious. I’m no hag. I never made pacts with the Devil. I didn’t bring this curse to your village. It’s not even a curse; it’s a natural thing to happen. I’m innocent.” She tried to calm the men down. “AH! So you say. But how can we trust you, you shape shifter. If you say your innocent that means that you know the guilty one. Get her!” One shouted. Suddenly a dark image appeared in front of the whole village, preventing the angry crowd from touching Aira. It had dark wings, but the thing seemed like a man. “That doesn’t make any sense at all.” The thing spoke and laughed at the stupid faces that looked at him. It had a voice of an influential man, an educated one. He was serene, but something in his eyes said otherwise. His laugh made him look like a savage best, ready to attack at anytime, bored at the insignificant folk that surrounded him. “See! I told you that she had a pact with the Devil itself. Here’s the proof.” A voice rose from the mob. “Kill him. Kill here. Kill them both. The curse must be lifted.” The crowed ran towards both man and woman, the all of a sudden everyone froze. The man turned to Aira. “My name is Aira, thanks for the help.” “You’re quite welcome. Let me introduce myself. My name is Ithil. Now, if you don’t mind coming with me…the spell I cast onto these crowd is complicated, so it won’t hold any longer. Ready?” Aira didn’t react at once. She was not sure she should follow this strange winged man, but she was facing a certain death, so she hadn’t much of a choice either. “So?” “Yes. I’ll go with you.” “Good. Now hold on tight. The trip might be long for one that is not accustomed to fly.” Aira held tight during the flight, trying not to look down. After awhile both of them were at a far away beach. “You can relax now. You’re making to much pressure on my right wing.” “Oh! Sorry. Thanks for the trip.” “Nevermind. I just couldn’t stay quiet in a situation like that. I hate ignorant people.” “What are you?” “A vampire.” Aira’s face turned to shock. She looked everywhere, but it was only sand and water. No place to escape. “Do not worry. I had my thirst satisfied before our encounter. And I have no wish in your blood. You are far too pretty to be a mere food supply.” “Thanks…I guess.” Aira had no right reply. The sun had begun to rise over a hill top that could be seen from the beach where they stood. Ithil transformed painfully into his human form again. Aira hold him to avoid him falling. He was wearing a long grey jacket, a white shirt underneath and black trousers. “I appreciate that. Well at least we are stuck in this beach.” “I’ll race you to the water.” Aira ran towards the sea, observed by this new friend of hers, which had a joyful smile on his face.

OoC: Aex's I thought I'd just pick up from where I left on in my training thread.
IC: Umi was tired from using all his strength on fighting his teacher. The man was strong and the Demon didn’t know how much longer his could go on. He’d never been pushed so hard so fast before in his life. He swung his massive sword around as he spin around. Umi thought the fight would go on, but he saw his teacher wasn’t there anymore. “I was just beginning to love the fight,” he said coldly noticing what seemed to be a letter on the glass floor. “He must have dropped it in his rush to leave. Knew I was strong them him Niku,” he said walking over to the letter. It didn’t look like much as he picked it up from the ground. The first think the demon noticed was his name on the paper that was folded up. He slowly opened it not liking what it might say. Umi, What you want can be found at the door that goes to the tropical beach. Tsk. I’m sure you’ll be watching too. Umi turned around and pulled out his map of the place watching it as he walked in randomly through out the Dome looking for the door to the beach. He soon found many doors that went to all kinds of beaches. At the end he found one that said tropical beach and he looked at the door. The reddish green color of the door made him think of all the people he had killed in the past. It was like a rush to Umi as he thought about the blood of others. He opened the door and stepped in and found himself on a lone beach. He could see others, but he said back wondering why he was here. “Niku do you have any thoughts?” “Hmm… Try not to harm the others here. I fear that man wasn’t using his full strength,” she replied closing her eyes leaving it up to Umi on what to do.

Occho was looking at his reflection in the water at the far end of the beach. The short, bald man would occasionally look to his right at all the gathering people. None of them seemed be aware of his presence. He waited for the last of the students to arrive and sighed.
Taking a final glance at his mirrored visage, he grabbed his staff and stood up. He snuck down the beach until the seven students were in plain sight. A few had noticed him; others had not. Those who did notice him seemed to understand that he was not like all the others. He wasn’t clueless. “May I have your attention?” he asked with a wiser-than-you attitude. When everyone looked up at him, he noticed the true diversity of the group. There was a vampire, a young warrior, an elven sorceress, a demon, an aged warrior, a demonic angel, and an elemental swordsman. It was truly a unique group. “My name is Occho. Now, this is going to come as a rapid shock, but the seven of you are here to go on a journey. Whether or not you accept this journey is up to you. However, at the end of the journey, you will be rewarded.” It was obvious that no one had any idea what he was talking about. “He he. I guess that wasn’t a very good explanation, huh? Well, I’m afraid I can’t explain better until tonight. So, let’s all just wait here until then.” Occho could see that no one was extremely enthusiastic about the idea. “Oh, come on. We’ll make it a bonfire.” OoC - Quite simply, entertain your characters until nightfall. It's good when your characters interact with the characters of others.

This is the THIRD time I'm posting this. >> BiC: Why are you so useless? "Why are you still in my head?" Vane mumbled. You've only been walking for three hours and you're giving up hope. "I never said that. I simply want to rest." You've been around the Dome before! You know that if a door calls to you, then you must go. "I entered the door, and now I'm lost." That's your own fault. "Tch...why do I even bother?" It is because you cannot be without me. The way out is obvious. "Damn you...just leave me alone!" Vane screamed. The voice went silent. The Savior had been making frequent visits to the Dome for a while now, and he knew how unpredictable and dangerous it could be. Just earlier he had been traversing the corridors, when a certain door appeared to be shining brilliantly. The Silronian, as usual, made his way to the door and walked in to see what the structure wanted with him. This time he found himself on a seemingly endless grassy plain. Underneath the grass was a layer of shiny slime that resembled mud in color and texture. Vane could see the sky reflecting off of the ground, and the ground reflecting off of the sky. It was a bizarre sight that made it seem as though there were several planes of reality contained in that one spacious field. The door in which he had entered had disappeared on the horizon a while ago, and there was nothing but flat land in sight. Vane wandered on, surprised that his conscience had ceased to harass him. It was rare that he got a moment to himself anymore, the way that his head had become since he had encountered Sesein in the crumbling Celestial Spire. The voice never bothered him in the Dome, but the ward only worked when he walked the corridors. The Savior began to increase his speed, but stopped abruptly. “He said that the way out is obvious…then that must mean that wandering around won’t help me.” The Silronian looked up and down; he could hardly tell the difference between the sky and the ground anymore. It seemed as though the muddy substance beneath the grass was beginning to change its color to match the sky. Suddenly, the solution popped into his head. Concentrating his solspherous to his feet, the Savior began to slowly lift himself into the air. Increasing the amount solspherous being projected behind him, Vane blasted himself upwards into the empyrean. As he thought, he slammed into a solid surface upon coming into contact with a cloud. As bizarre as it was, Vane was caught between two giant mirrors. “So…the bottom mirror below the grass was covered in a thin layer of mud to keep me from realizing what it was. The sky mirror reflected the ground because it was just reflecting off of another mirror,” Vane concluded. “So what’s the puzzle here?” That is also obvious. Ignoring the voice in his head, Vane proceeded to survey the area, looking for any signs of a difference in one of the two reflections. He had encountered this type of magic before, and it was only a matter of time before he spotted the defect. In the sky reflection, about thirty yards to the south, there was a crimson warp hole about the size of an apple. The Savior pushed more solspherous out through the soles of his feet and darted towards the rift. Coming to an abrupt halt several inches away from it, he extended his arm and touched the crux of it with the tip of his index finger.

"Great! Riddles! He just can’t come here, pick people randomly and fill them up with unanswered questions can he?
Of course he can! He just did that, or haven’t you noticed?” Ithil was immersed in conversation with himself when Aira reached him. She was soaking wet from the swim. She focused and her body heat increased. The entire extra water over her evaporated, leaving her dry and clean, still most of the salt crystallized on her skin. “Oh, I wasn’t expecting this.” Aira said laughing. Her laughter snapped Ithil out of his deviations. He looked at her and smirked. “That was kind of obvious to happen, don’t you agree?” “How should I know!?” “You never saw the ocean before?” “No, I had already seen it. I just never tried to dry myself up after going in it.” “Think twice now, before doing that again.” “Don’t worry I will. By the way, what were you doing here, when I was swimming down there?” “Me? Nothing special, just thinking.” “Humm…can I ask you about what?” “No, but you already did that so, I guess I just go ahead and answer that.”, Ithil stood up and started walking along the beach line “I was thinking about that man, Oochoo. Apparently he gathered all this people here on this beach for a reason only known to him.” “I heard what he said Ithil. He said he is going to answer all our questions in due time. We just have to find something to do in the meantime.” “I won’t!” “What? You’re not making much sense, you know?” “This man seams to know more about us than he shows. I won’t behave as I like, because he may be watching us, to get an idea on our normal behaviour.” “Conspiracy theory, very funny Ithil.” “You know I’m right Aira. He may want us no harm, but we just don’t know that. So in order to protect ourselves, we must not show our real thoughts and behaviours more than necessary.” “You’re overreacting, but fine. Besides, by doing what you are doing he will know you still.” “What do you mean?” “He will know that you are playing defence, that you are a methodical, observing type of person. He will still know how you think and plan.” “I…I haven’t thought about that.” “Well, so much for your theory. Now come and take a dive with me. The water is really good.” She smiled and encouraged Ithil to go swimming with her. “I’ll promise I won’t dry myself with magic.”
