[Aex] Kiba's Training

Kiba woke up early one morning with a feeling of dread in the pit of his stomach. Something is very wrong here..... the locals should be rushing about and going about their buisness. So why is it so quiet? Kiba shrugged it off as being paranoid and walked to the kitchen. The old lady who took care of him wasn't up yet, as far as he could tell. He decided to suprise her by cooking breakfast for the both of them.

Kiba went to the fridge and took some eggs out. He then set on making an omlette, for it was just about the only thing that he could make. As he let it cook he went back to his room to drink a bottle of the foul-smelling potion that disguised him as a human. Kiba shuddered and muttered to himself, "I don't think I'll ever get used to the taste. It tastes like a batch of vegetables mixed with scorpions and dog drool." Kiba sniffed the air at a putrid smell. He ran quickly to the kitchen. "Man! I thought for sure that this time I wouldn't burn them!"

"Kiba! What's that smell? Did you burn the breakfast again!" Kiba winced sharply and waited for another scolding. "Oh well," The old lady sighed. Kiba stared at her nun-plused that she wasn't going to reprimand him. "It's too bad. But Kiba, I have something very important to tell you."

"What is it?" Kiba asked, the feeling of dread returning.

"Someone knows that you're not human and they've gathered a mob. You'll have to run from here. Take all your potions with you, I don't know how long they'll search for you and I don't want you to turn back to the way you were in some town." The old lady frowned as she looked off into the distance. "They've just finished getting everyone together, and they're coming this way! Quickly! Get your stuff and leave!"

"But what about you?"

"I'll be fine! Now get moving!" The old lady practically sceamed. Kiba ran to his room and gathered all of the potions into a bag that was magically enlarged on the inside. He picked out his best robe and took off for the front door. "Goodbye, old lady!" Kiba yelled and jumped out the window, not bothering to open the door.

He landed and took off into, what he hoped, was the opposite direction the mob was coming from, not thinking to use his enhanced senses to tell exactly where they were. It was just his luck however that he ran right into them.

He stood still in fear as he stared into the eyes of his favorite person in the village, the mayor. It had been the mayor who had let Kiba stay in the village in the first place. "Look here men! This is the werewolf I heard about!" The men looked at him then to the mayor in confusion.

"But he doesn't look like a werewolf. He looks like just a normal boy." One of the men said.

"That's because he's using a potion to hide his lupine features you fools!" The mayor yelled. The villagers glared down at the cowering were. "We'll give you a five minute head start boy. Then we'll be coming after you!"

Kiba ran like like he had never ran before in his life. He ran like there was no tomorrow. He ran like his life depended on it..... because it did. He tripped and fell into what seemed like a large rabbit hole. He screamed on the way down and was knocked out when he finally hit the bottom.

He awoke to find himself on a grassy plain. He took a deep breath and sighed when he realized that there were no enemies. He got up slowly and gazed around himself. He was amazed that there were no injuries on him. He stared at the seemingly endless plains, unbroken except for a single building in the distance.

He ran to it excitedly, laughing his head off that he finally safe from those that wished to hurt him.

"Oh well," The old lady sighed.

That should be a period, because the following phrase doesn't really qualify the dialog.

I'll be fine! Now get moving!" The old lady practically sceamed.

The bold "t" should be uppercase because that phrase qualifies the dialog. And it should be "screamed."

But he doesn't look like a werewolf. He looks like just a normal boy." One of the men said.

Alright. When a phrase before or after dialog introduces or qualifies that dialog, you use a comma instead of a period. Also, the first letter in the following phrase needs to be lower case.

Very good. And I apologize that this took so very long. I will do my best to not let it happen again.

Now, which character of mine would you like to teach Kiba? Also, I forget. Do you want to participate in the group assignment?

I wanted Karaza to teach Kiba. And I want to enter the group assignment, but I will be absent for most of the summer.

But I'm not sure that Karaza was the one that I wanted to teach Kiba. I had chosen one, but I can't remember which one I chose. I think that Karaza was the one I picked.
