Just My Luck.

Zebshar was patrolling around the area that had once been where he had been isolated. His small wooden house had been moved away, but the lake still remained, after much talking to his King, tellying him that if he wasn't near water, he couldn't become more powerful, and keep the ghouls awayfor much longer. He had already proved a valuable allyto the king, sending more ghouls away than he could ever imagine.

This part of the forest hadn't changed much, thanks to more talking to the king. So this would be the perfect spot to hold a battle, if one should arise. which he knew would. He had first noticed he was being followed when he heard a twig snap, and a small, gruff voice mumble "Damn. I have to be more careful first I get lost from Basil, and now I find a drow? What else could happen today?!"

Whats his name? Zebshar mentally asked Zharah.

Faite. she replied simply.

Damn.

Faite was watching the drow silently from a tree branch, his small mishap earlier letting the drow know he was onto him. Faite slowly slipped down from the tree he wasin as the drow seemed to practice his water magics. Something most drow didn't use.

"First you're out in the sunlight, far away from the underdark, and now your using water magics? You're no ordinary drow. What's your name?

"My name is Zebshar Barixum, Faite" Zeb said, thinking already knowing his name might throw him off.

All of a sudden there was a rustel in the bushes

"Haradin! Cole!" Faite and Zebshar both exclaimed, thinking that to be the only person in the bush.

Haradin and Colecartha walked through the woods, looking for water.

"Cole," Haradin said, "would you like some of my jerky?"

"You are a horrible ♥♥♥♥ing brute," Cole said angrily, "I'm sure I remember the lake being right over here."

"Look a clearing," Haradin said.

Colecartha froze, she knew this place, many months ago, she neatly died here, but she had been saved at the last minute, she felt uneasy.

"Haradin," Cole said nervously, "I don't want to go that way."

"It will be quicker to go threw it," Haradin retorted.

Cole walked up to him, "Haradin," she began, "I don't give a ♥♥♥♥, I don't want to ♥♥♥♥ing go that way," she hit Haradin on the head with her staff, causing Haradin to fall into the bushes.

"Haradin! Cole!" the two heard coming from the other side of the bushes.

Haradin and Cole jumped out in a fighting stance.

"Get ready to die Mother ♥♥♥♥ers," Cole said.

"Truce?"Faite asked Zebshar, at the exact same time Zeb asked him. Faite gave a grim smile.
"So its settled. We're on a temporary truce untill we send these guys away. then I want to know what you're doing here." Then Faite charged.

Zebshar began preparing a water attack at Cole, sending two ice shards her way.

The ice shards hit Cole and bounced off doing no damage, "you ♥♥♥♥ing dumb ♥♥♥♥, you should know from last time that I cannot be hurt by water and ice," Cole said, she took out her sword and ran at Zeb, "now die mother ♥♥♥♥er"

Haradin calmly walked up to faite, "you lead me into the underdark, and you left me there," Haradin said, "I was hoping I would see you again one day, I will take your head off dwarf," Haradin punched Faite in the face.

"Left you? I was beside you the whole time untill you were lead away by the doppelganger!" Faite said, taking the hit. "I couldn't risk bringing you back to the surface with me because when you grabbed the bag the doppelganger was carrying around, put you under the influence of anoen! She made you think I had simply abandoned you, but I didn't! You have to believe me!" Faite said, ducking the next blow from the now enraged Harradin.

Zebshar was trying to figure out a way to get around Colecartha's immunities to water, so he pulled out his dagger, flipped the blade over, and flung it at her, not even planning for the poison to affect her, seeing that he had sliced her with it so much the last time they met. Of course... she didn't know that.
Fire and water and wind and earth
death and destruction
life and birth
Hand in Hand one will go, powers of wind, come to and fro
Help me strike down my vicious foe! Zebshar now could controll the wind near his weapon, casting a small levitationspell on it to further his control. He swung his left hand sideways, and the blade flipped over, he then swung his right arm upwards, and the blade flew upwards.

Zebshar now had a general idea. of what happened. usually when he cast a levitation spell, he would usse both of his arms to raise or lower the object, the same as when he cast a wind spell. Csting both on the same item halfed his power over each, but he could now perform more dangerous tricks.

He flung his right arm forwards, and his left arm to his right, causing the small blade to perform a large upper left to lower right diagnol cut. He then swung his Left hand Up, and his Right hand down, and sent the blade into a few spins, then he thrust both arms straight at cole, not giving her a chance to bring up her defences as he played this deadly game. The blade almost seemed to move of it's own accord, flying straight at cole. At the last second, Zebshar flung both hands up into the air, and then straight back down, causing the blade to swerve , and go straight at Harradin!

Faite knew of this plan, because a strange voice had been tellinghim about it. The voice knew that Faite would have a hard time fighting a fellow comrade, so it arranged so that Zebshar would fight him, and Faite would fight the water mage. Faite took two steps out of Haradins range, as he turned abou, and threw dirt into the air, making him harder to see. He then rolled to the side as something cold flew ear him. He noticed that the two ice bolts that Zeb had thrown at this female named Cole hadn't melted yet, so he picked one of them up, and flung it at her with unnering accuracy. he then immediatly began charging his axe with the heat of a fireball that hadn't been released yet. He quickly ran over to the lake, and hit his axe, releasing the fireball at the same time Therelut being lots of steam covering the battle field. Faite went into a crouc, and quickly crept up on who he thought was Cole. Faite raised his blade, and brought it crashing down, only to be stopped by the urgent voice.

THAT'S ZEBSHAR!

Faite quickly spun around, and began listening, in the steam, , everyone was more of a shadow than a real parson. Faite quickly pulled out his small talisman that he kept around his neck, and rubbed it for good luck, before putting it back into his shirt, and closing in on who he now thought was Cole.

Zebshar quickly brought out both arms, causing his blade to spin and flip, , not knowing where it would go,, he then thrust his left arm behind him, flinging it at himself. He quickly side stepped the blade, curved it around his head using his right arm, and sent it back at Harradin. Then the steam happened. Steam is a gaseous form of water, so he quickly applied some of the heated water to his dagger, now making it glow red from the three spells he had cast upon it.

The blade pierced Haradin's armor and poisoned him. Haradin quickly pulled dagger out of his flesh, he fell to the ground.

Cole saw hit with the ice, but it was again deflected harmlessly, she picked the ice up and tossed it at Faite. Cole ran to Haradin the poison started to take effect, she took out her Karder's Aura, she healed him.

Haradin ran over to Faite and slashed at him but Zeb jumped in front of Haradin and blocked him, protecting Faite.
