A Simple Case of Mistaken Identity (CourageWielder)
He'd been following this man for some time. He could swear it was him. Similar hair, same eyes, same wings, and fairly similar clothes. It had to be him! There was no doubt in his mind. It was Defcitane, the demon who loved to parade around as an angel! He had killed so many angels that Mellaca had known. This demon was a terror, and Mellaca felt that he just had to dispatch of this horrid beast. Both were flying around above an empty plain, but Mellaca was hiding himself in the clouds, several metres above the other man. After a few more minutes, Mellaca burst out through the clouds with such immense speed, that he almost couldn't be seen in the night sky. Only his bright golden trenchcoat gave him away.
"Stop, demon!" Mellaca commanded to the man below him. But before he even could think of stopping, Mellaca collided with him, and pulled him to the ground. The impact made a crater in the ground, and threw dirt and rock in every direction. Mellaca pulled the man up and threw him out of the pit, onto the ground above, then proceded to fly out of it himself. He followed through by flying past the man, and swinging his long, golden-bladed sword at him. The man blocked him succesfully, but Mellaca didn't care. He landed a few yards away, and pointed his sword at the man. "Defcitane! You cannot fool my eyes! You're disguise is pathetic! You've killed many of my brothers with your deception, but no longer. You will pay for the pain you've caused!" Mellaca ran at the man and swung his sword up, ready to strike.

Re: A Simple Case of Mistaken Identity (CourageWielder)
The Dark Angel circled above the small field, lost deep in thought. Wind blew against his face, the setting sun making his blood red eyes glimmer gently. The only sounds heard were the quiet rustle of feathers and the sounds of bugs buzzing and chirping below. For some reason, though, something didn't feel right...
"Stop, demon!" Before Ahiga was able to react, he was being pressed towards the ground at blinding speeds, splitting and cracking rock and ground alike. The mysterious man threw him out of the newly formed pit, he himself jumping up and blocking his assailant with Nier. The lookalike angel sped towards him, blade raised in fury. "Defcitane! You cannot fool my eyes! You're disguise is pathetic! You've killed many of my brothers with your deception, but no longer. You will pay for the pain you've caused!" Ahiga blocked another attack successfully, folding his wings in fully for added agility. "Wait... who the hell is Defcitane?!" The Dark Angel dodged another attack, aiming mainly to block the attacks without causing harm. He launched himself into the air, creating a sonic boom to hinder the other Angel confused for a moment. His 14 foot wingspan let him far enough up for but a split second, diving back down with wings fully folded, only trying to scare him off. |

Re: A Simple Case of Mistaken Identity (CourageWielder)
"You cannot- Urmph!" Mellaca covered himself with his wings as a wave of sonic energy slammed against him, nearly sending him to the ground. "You can't fool my eyes with your disguise, and you cannot fool my mind with your deceit, demon!" Mellaca was about to pursue the man, who had shot himself into the air, but was forced to jump aside as the man shot himself down at him. The man passed, but a gust of wind came up behind him, and blew Mellaca off balance. He steadied himself and fired off three light arrows, all aimed a bit ahead of the man as he flew up. Not looking to see if the arrows hit, Mellaca blasted himself into the air, and drew out his sword, ready to charge the man. "I have fought your kind for an unfathomable about of time... If you surrender now, you'll make things a lot easier on yourself."

Re: A Simple Case of Mistaken Identity (CourageWielder)
One of the arrows his in his left shoulder, the fire magic in his system having already cauterized the wound and destroyed the shaft, leaving only the now densely hot metal in his skin. Ahiga kept himself aloft, blade drawn with his good arm to keep defense.
"I told you already-I'm not who you're looking for!" By now, the Dark Angel had gotten annoyed at the nuisance, ready to tear his head off, save for the fact that he knew he'd more patience than that. "I have fought your kind for an unfathomable about of time... If you surrender now, you'll make things a lot easier on yourself." The last sentence broke whatever good thoughts the youth had on this man, charging him full force, able to move faster in air due to his wing size. "Don't you ever... EVER tell me to surrender, especially to the likes of you, heathen!" The cloth around his wound looked wet, the hot metal not helping to stop the bleeding as he sped towards the Fallen Angel, growling and murmuring in an odd tongue. He'll pay... dearly. OoC: Waha! |

Re: A Simple Case of Mistaken Identity (CourageWielder)
Again with the charging... Mellaca forced his wings out far, then flapped them down hard enough to shoot straight up like a bullet. The man flung around without missing a beat, flying right at Mellaca again. Defcitane has certainly got used to such a form... This sickens me so much! Well if he's going to fly, then how about this? Dodging the next of the man's attacks, Mellaca flew up even higher, gaining just enough distance to summon the Tears of Lisheen. Without even a single cloud in the sky, little glowing drops of some liquid started to rain down lightly, and gradually became heavier. Each drop with made of Light magic that could be painful to those who were weak to such things, though in now way deadly. However, it acted exactly like rain in that it would soak into their clothing.
"Enough of your flight! These are the very tears of my former goddess! Down with you now, demon, down to the ground! Fight me like the nasty scum you are!" The heavy 'rain' was enough to force both opponents to the ground, where Mellaca hoped for a real battle. He stood ready with the Blade of the Shunned placed in a high gaurd.
