A barren Land (Galbatorix)

Hey Galb, Roy told me that he wanted me to battle him for you instead becausehe has to leave someplace for a few months. Just to let you know, Ill be using Kouchen, The solo spellsword

Well, here it goes, using Maruki:

The temparture was almost unbearable in the Chikaroy Desert. Maruki was very parched, only a few sips left within his canteen. Sweat beaded slowly down his face as his pace slowed. Step by step, he weakened. An oasis would be a miracle for him now.
Suddenely, a moist gust of wind and sand blew through Maruki's face, as his hair and loose garments danced with it. I cannot take this. It is almost too much for me. thought Maruki as he wiped sweat from his forehead.
Another gust of sandy wind blew, carrying in the sound of swords clashing. Maruki thought he was hallucinating, but he heard it again. He then heard footsteps, heavy footsteps. They came closer to him, and closer. He then saw a figure in the distance.

The heat above made seeing ahead nearly impossible. Mirages had appeared everywhere, dancing about on what he wanted for the trip across. Sweat trickled down his face, as an image came to view. For a few second, he though it was his mind playing games, but as it came closer it proved his senses wrong. A tall, young warrior made way towards him. He seemed in the exact same condition of need. Kouchen drew his sword, not knowing whether he would be friend or ally made no diference to him, if he was lucky he could loot suppplies off the traveller. The man already had his blade drawn, apparently he too, saw what he had wnated not to see.
Kouchen struck a battle pose, ready for any attack, but the image only came closer until it stopped halfway towrds him. Only time would tell.....

This would be a very hard fight for both travelers for the heat was a matter of ill strength for both warriors. Maruki stood, staring at his what might be opponent, waiting him to make the first strike. A dash from his opponent out of the blue almost caught Maruki, though he evaded it with ease.
