High Noon Spar [Anyone]

Ooc: I just want this to be a friendly battle, no lethal weapons, no lethal hits or anything similar. Just a fun spar with detailed narration. Anyone can join.

Bic: Francis stood, arms akimbo, staring at the dirt field in front of him. Heat waves rising from the dirt distorted the view ever so slightly, giving the illusion that the field was longer than it actually was. Francis started down the stairs to the field, his boots clapping the marble as he stepped, and slipped his shirt over his head, dropping it on the last bleacher before he reached the field. He slowly stepped onto the field, left foot following the right, and trotted towards the center of the field, pausing only when he reached the dead center. Reaching down to touch his toes, he began to stretch, throwing in random punches between stretches to speed up the process. Finally prepared to face his opponent, Francis pulled a 180, bowing at the end of his rotation, and entered a ready stance. He was ready to fight.

Axen stepped in and called out, "Ready? Cause' I sure as heck am! then got into a ready stance with my wooden sword held above my head, horizontal to the ground.

Ooc: Sorry, I'm going to narrate your character a little bit, I hope that's alright.

Bic: Francis rushed forward first, attempting to sweep-kick Axen's legs out from underneath, but to no avail! Axen back-hand-sprung to dodge the sweep, swinging his wooden sword downwards towards Francis' head. Francis sprung onto his back, the swipe hitting the ground below his tucked knees, and rolled into a crouching defense stance, prepared for another attack. Francis smiled, "This is going to be fun," he said slyly. Axen's response was a triple-step reverse jumping dragon kick (A jump-rotating tuck kick, in which one leg is folded beneath the kicker whilst the other leg is extended towards the target), which scored a hit on Francis' right shoulder, knocking Francis to the ground. Francis rolled back onto his feet, successfully dodging Axen's follow-up drop attack: A knee aimed at Francis' chest. Francis struck out his right foot towards Axen's cheek, but the blow was diverted by Axen's guarding left forearm into Axen's shoulder. The two stepped back, rubbing their shoulders, waiting for the other to make the next move.

Ooc: Hope you like it, I tried to make it a very even match!

OOc:Alright, let's heat it up a little bit!

Bic:I dashed towards Francis, who shifted defensive stances only for me to roll around him halfway through Francis dove forward in order to doge my uppercut slash, which landed me on my feet.Francis rolled and spun mid jump to land facing me.I smirked as the first bead of sweat went down my face."Ready to really get started?" I called

At that same moment as Axen was dashing toward Francis, a padded arrow hit the ground between them!! Argon had joined the Spar!! Another figure rose from the gloom under the stands! It was Jinn,the best female knight there was!(Actually, she's the ONLY one there was.) She raised her wooden Dragonslayer(the standard sword of knights) and bellowed "ATTACK!!!" And so it was.The Spar resumed.

I did a jump backwards then turned to the newcomer. "What is your name?" I called out. "Mine's Axen and this is Francis.What's your name?" I asked, while watching francis out of the corner of my eye.

Francis turned and bowed to the newcomers, pausing at to wave them on before assuming his defensive stance. "This should be fun," Francis thought, "I've never sparred against a female before." Francis rushed Jinn, throwing a flying knee towards her with lightning fast speed, but Jinn was quicker. Blocking his knee with her forearm, she was able to roll backwards, grabbing Francis' back with her unused left arm and throwing him towards Axen. The two almost collided, but both were able to avoid the hit, Axen by cartwheeling the his right, and Francis by landing in a sliding three-point stance. "Oh, baby" Francis shook his head with a smile, "it's on!" Francis attacked again, this time landing a solid blow on Jinn's outer left thigh with a glancing swift kick. Jinn staggered backwards, caught off guard by Francis' blow. Both Francis and Jinn assumed their defensive stances, but both wanted to see how Axen's fight was going. They momentarily paused, nodding at each other, to see the flow of events before them.

I had to stop an think about how best to continue. Hmm, francis looks capable of defending his back but Jinn migh have a weakness in that area. I guess the only way to fight francis is head on.I thought as I watched the little scuffle. When they paused was my cue to warp next to francis, striking him in the back of the knee,causing him to stumble.Jinn, taking the opportunity to attack, swinging vertically which axen flipped backward, pulling out a second blade.

And that second blade was immedietly taken out of his hand, and put into mine. I was going to have fun, for the first time in a long time. He picked out his target earlier, and it was Argon. I rushed Argon, and hit her on the kneecap, causing her to trip.

Francis went with the force of the blow, stumbling forward and rolling back onto his feet. He came up quickly, throwing a backwards kick, striking Axen just as he landed his back flip. Axen staggered backwards, taken off guard by such a speedy recovery from Francis. Axen, Francis, and Jinn all charged each other, throwing, blocking, and dodging furious attacks from one another. After about two minutes of furious fighting, the attacks slowed, and the fury died away. All three started more reserved, careful attacks, eager to defeat one another, but wary of the skill that each other had in his or her possession. Francis struck out at Axen with a right twist-kick, striking Axen in the stomach just as Axen himself struck Jinn with a kick of his own. Francis smiled, "Looks like I'm the only one that hasn't been--Ughff!" Jinn landed a solid blow on Francis' stomach, causing him to loose his air. All three fighters bent over, hands on knees, tired from the fight. They then turned to watch Tarok and Argon fight.

OOc:Lol,justcuz_goodpost.gifAlso, don't know any abilities Agron might have so I'm gonna stick to regular sword-play.

Bic:I chuckled as I was coughing from the lack of air in my lungs and laid back, making sure I had a firm grip on my only sword left. Tarok swung my blade a little awkwardly, seeing as how he isn't used to this kind of blade. Jinn countered with a sideways spinning slash, coming from the right.

OOC:Argon uses a bow and a dagger.But let's just say Argon had a sword with him too.(P.S.Argon's a guy.) BiC:Argon began to draw his bow to full power,but he wasn't firing an arrow. He was going to shoot his sword!Argon whistled to get Axen's attention.As Axen turned around , Argon's sword hit him square in the chest,sending Axen staggering backward into Francis,who toppled over as Jinn backhanded them both in the stomach.Then they waited for the fight to start again.

OOc: You're controlling two characters? I still don't see a linkcool hair.jpgbtw, he said no vital blows. I would count a sword going into my character's stomach is vital.

Bic:I landed on my back, then pulled Argon's sword out of my stomach while pulling energy from Rox, which was sitting nearby in the shade. I got back up and turned away from Argon and threw it, barely missing Jinn's face by mere inches, cutting a clump of his hair along the way, flying into a tree high up, stuck up to the hilt in the tree, about southwest.

I was starting to get used to this sword. I swung it at Argon, hitting him in the back of the knee, making him stumble.

OOc: NOTE* My swords are WOODEN

OoC: I know that.

Francis recovered, stopping himself just before he fell. He struck out at his opponent, Jinn, just as Axen struck out at both Tarok and Argon, hitting them with a split jump. All three defenders blocked, stumbling backwards under the blows of their attackers, and recovered into a two-point defensive stance. Francis and Axen rose to their feet, having fallen after attempting drop-kicks on the other three. All five members of the party turned inward, bowing to one another, and as the sun set on the motley group, the five of them were seen, traveling with each other back into the Dome, arms around each other's backs.


Ooc: Sorry, I felt it was getting too hectic. I enjoyed it though! Good spar!
