Mysterious Forest (OPEN)

OoC: hello fellows my char, this is my first time in the BA so please be gentle!!!

BiC: The trees were tall. Shrubs and other forestry everywhere. Haradin walked alone, disoriented from the bright flash that had suddenly put him here. The sounds of the forest echoed around him, soothing to him. He found a clearing, the light shown from above, a beautiful serene place. Suddenly a loud sound, growling just behind him. He turned around. A large figure stared at him, he drew his sword and prepared for battle.

"You won't be able to kill him by yourself," he heard from be hind him.

Haradin turned around and asked, "who are you?".

OoC: Well what are you waiting for help me kill this thing!!! Is this a good start do you think?

wait... so there are TWo other people in this clearing?

OoC: no one is an enemy thats in the forest in front of Haradin and the other is behind Haradin (the person who will join the fight with Haradin, against the enemy)

OoC: Well... seeing as how this enemy fellow is rather large... and a dwarf is rather short... that should mean that My character is helping you.

BiC:
"You won't be able to kill him by yourself." Faite remarked to the man, staring at the shadowed figure behind him, "Believe me, I've tried."

"Who are you?" the man asked. "Just call me... Faite." said the dwarf with a smirk. "I bring the end to all things, and that includes him." Faite pulled out his axe and began advancing towards the creature lurking in the shadows.

OoC: oh yeah a bite!!!

BiC: Haradin watched as Faite ran after the shadowy monster, dumbfounded. He finally came to his senses and ran at the shadowy monster.

"I am Haradin, King of Alzio and you will die today," he said.

Faite had his axe out and began slashing at the monsters legs, which where very large its head when Haradin got closer he saw it was in front of his body, the monster was a spider. Haradin and Faite kept slashing but it seemed to do nothing, they were in dire straights.

OoC: This is a nibble actually, as I and most people won't be able to keep a thread like this goin for so long if the creator keeps posting 1-2 paragraph's at a time. should be more like this--
if this is supposed to be people unting an NPS, that goes in the Crossroads, this battle arena is where we fight against each other... so Im gonna help you out.
Bic:

Faite swung at the spider's legs, knowing that if he could sever them it would cause the spider to lose its balance, fall, and hopefully kill his target... the king of Alzio, for that was indeed his target. It was luck that had brought him and Alzio together to face this spider, and it would also be luck that would finish them off.

The spider was now getting annoyed, as getting its legs hacked at by a flaming axe owuld likely do to anyone, and it kicked at Faite, who promptly rolled allong the side of the leg and latched on, holding on for dear life as the things leg shot towards a tree, up, and then right at the ground, almost causing Faite to lose some of his lunch -a sheep leg and a pint of beer-. "Wow... I'm not feeling so -urp- good." Faite said. Finally the beast stopped, and Faite stumbled off, slowly walking towards a tree, where he could regain his composure.

As soon as the nausia wore off, Faite was back in the fray. "Okay, no more grabing onto its legs." Faite mentally noted to himself. Faite struck once, twice, three times, and finnaly got one of the creatures legs... partially. The spider hissed, and spit some venom Faites way. the stout dwarf jumped to the side, and watched in horror as the things leg grew back... completly unscathed, as if Faite hadn't even so much as nicked it.

"Damn... only way to kill this one is onna be through it's heart... so there's no way of me killing my hit and this thing at the same time..." Faite mumbled, staring u[p at the beast. Faite began to climb the nearest tree, and the spider creature turned its attention back to the king, obviously thinking thaat the dwarf had run away.

"Novice mistake." faite said, as he quickly jumped right onto the things back and began hacking wildly at where he thought the things heart should be with his mighty axe. Faite was aware that the axe was doing nothing... exactly as he had planned, the spider began climbing a tree... the same one Faitehad just climbed... and straght into the wating point of the Blade of healing. The dwarf had placed the blade in the treee so that the spider would impale itself through the heart, causing some internal bleeding, and forcing the spider to drown in it's own blood. (the blade's healing properties can only heal fleshwounds... so pulling the blade out will only seeal the flesh...)

"Ah... there we go. Faite said as he pulled out his blade and watched the gash in the creatures skin immediatly heal." "Now, king... YOU....SHALL..... DIE....!!!"

OoC: Sorry if it sounded like i was calling you out like that, but I kinda want to see this thread live for longer than others.

Ooc: I had no Idea I posted in the wrong place but this should make things interesting. Oh and yeah I was going to make my last post longer but, I suddenly got swamped and had to cut it short.

BiC:
"You have helped me slay this beast dwarf, for that I commend you," said Haradin, "but for your treachery you will die."

Haradin picked up a stick and walked toward the tree, Faite stood on the branches smiling. He took out his axe and jumped down intending to hit Haradin. He Haradin right in the head but the Royal Alzian Armor saved him from death.

"You will die now dwarf."

"Why do you not say my name King?"

"Traitors have no name."

Haradin Lunged forward, before Faite knew whats was happening Haradin cut off his hand.

"You can no longer fight, surrender and I will be merciful."

"You know nothing Haradin."

Faite took out his healing sword and reattached his hand, he smiled and picked up his axe.

"Say goodbye Haradin," he pointed his axe at Haradin and blasted a fire ball at him, Haradin dove out of the way but the fire ball his leg armor, fusing the plates together. Haradin hopped toward Faite.

"Why are you trying to kill me, what have I done to you?"

Ooc: Can I join?

Bic: Zildor walks into the clearing after watching the dwarf kill the spider and then turning on the king.

"Dwarf, " Zildor speaks suddenly, "You should have been more careful. If you had, you would know that the spider hasn't died yet."

As he is speaking he casts out both hands towards the spider. The spiders begins to twitch, and then it flips over. Zildor speaks in a weird language, and the spider begins stalking the dwarf.

" I'm sorry dwarf, but I think that I might fare better, and indeed I have more reason to strike at the king then you."

Zildor suddenly drops to one knee, and then slams his fists into the ground suddenly, two black bears lumber in from the forest, and a ring of fire appears around the clearing. Zildor falls to the ground, exhausted. The bears move in, one to attack the Faite, and the other to attack the king. Suddenly, he jumps up, and draws his sword, unscathed.

Ooc: Deal with this

OoC: Before We go any further, I would like to let you know that my sword can't Regenerats anything, just heal the wound, unless I have the appendagge handy, in which case, I put it back on and cut on the othercut, fusing it back together. now... lets begin.

Bic:

"Traitor?" You know nothing of the sort, I have lived among drow, who are even more traitorous to their own kind than humans. You have done nothing, except become king. Much to my current employers disliking, and He's paying a hefty sum." Faite explained.

"And... seeing as how I am not, nor have ever been in alegiance with your people, I am not a traitor."
Faite then noticed a person appear in the forest. "Dwarf," the man said suddenly, "You should have been more careful. If you had, you would know that the spider hasn't died yet."

The man then reached out to the spider who was apparently still alive, and muttered some strange words.
"Why does everyone call me dwarf instead of my name?" Faite wondered, while watching the spider who had begun twitching again. Suddenly, the creature sprang back to life, and began stalking Faite.

" I'm sorry dwarf, but I think that I might fare better, and indeed I have more reason to strike at the king then you." said the man.

The strange man suddenly drops to one knee, and then slams his fists into the ground suddenly, two black bears lumber in from the forest, and a ring of fire appears around the clearing. The man falls to the ground, exhausted. The bears move in, one to attack Faite, and the other to attack the king. Suddenly, he jumps up, and draws his sword, unscathed.

"Great... a spellsword, "Faite muttered, "Can I get your name atleast?" Faite said warry of the spider, who lunged at him.

Faite stepped out of the way, and shot a fireball straight between its eyes, frying its brain, and instantly killing it.

"Well... now the damned thing is dead." Faite said, smiling. The dwarf jumped ontop of the bear, and immediatley decapitated it, making sure that the creature wouldn't get back up

"And what might your reason be for wanting to kill him anyways?" Faite asked the man who had brought inm the bears.

OoC: why are you calling him king??? he is King Haradin. you could just call him Haradin.

BiC: The strange man suddenly drops to one knee, and then slams his fists into the ground suddenly, two black bears lumber in from the forest, and a ring of fire appears around the clearing. The man falls to the ground, exhausted. The bears move in, one to attack Faite, and the other to attack the king. Suddenly, he jumps up, and draws his sword, unscathed.

Bears, just like in the Western mountains Haradin thought. The bulking animal lumbered at Haradin fast. The bear hit Haradin's armor full force breaking his neck instantly, he raised his sword above his head and stabbed down into the heart of the beast. Haradin now became aware of what was happening.

"And what might your reason be for wanting to kill him anyways?" the dwarf asked the stranger.

"No more talk from you," yelled Haradin, "why would you people want me dead anyway?"

Faite dodged the spider's attack. Haradin climbed a tree near the spider while Faite and the stranger talked. He jumped down on top of the black beast and trust his sword down several times into it's neck finally cutting it off all together.

"Is that so," asked Faite, "shall we take him together then?"

"Is that so," asked Faite, "shall we take him together then?"

"Why not?" Zildor replies, "And I'm getting some pretty good money for your head, and I want revenge for what you've done."
With this being said, Zildor rushes and starts hacking at Haradin. Haradin is just barely able to block my attacks. He swings at me and I duck, stabbing at his leg.

The stranger lunges at Haradin swinging wildly at him. Haradin swings back but is block, then the stranger stabs at Haradin's leg, luckily his armor resists the attack, but not for much longer Haradin knew. The traitor Dwarf ran at Haradin from behind and swung his mighty axe breaking off the royal armor.

"Now King," Frite started, "you will die."

"No," the stranger said quickly, "I need him alive."

"I don't care," Frite said coldly, "I want him dead."

they stared at each other knowing what was going to happen. The stranger struck first stabing Frite through his arm nearly cutting it off.

"You did not pay attention to me and the king did you," Frite scoffed, as he took out his healing blade and his arm was like new once more.

Haradin stood back and watch what was happening and decided that this was enough, he took off what remained of his armor, as the two continued to fight. While they reined attacks on each other, they failed to keep track of the reason they were there in the first place and Haradin would now use that to his advantage. He saw a near by village, no doubt they would have warriors that he could against these two that opposed him. He quickly came back, the two now stared at him and the twenty warriors that came, Haradin knew and epic battle was about to be fought.

OoC: a village in the forest lol well I should make short order of you two now, btw the warriors are of low quality so don't make them do any fancy things.

Ooc: You haven't fixed your post, I told you, I want your character dead.

OoC: Haradin is not dying anytime soon.

OoC... and he shall not be.
Because I'm going to downplay some of my characters abilities for right now.
BiC:

As Faite parried and thrusted at Zildor, all the while keeping his perephrial vision on the king, as soon as he noticed that the king was heading to the village, he disarmed the strange man. "Okay.. he said as Haradin left the area.

"I call truce. In realirty, I do not need this money, but, I relish a challenge. It seems the king is heading into the Village to round up some soldiers. We may be able to defeat them all if we work together. Truce?" Faite asked, sheathing his axe.

"I guess, why not? We might as well rest while we wait for him to come back."

OoC: oops I almost forgot about this XD

BiC:
"So then you both have chosen death at my hand," asked Haradin, he stared the pair down, "you will not survive."

"You are the one who will not survive King," said Faite.

The village warriors stood scattered behind Haradin in no formation of any kind. Faite and Zildor stood at the opposite end of the clearing, watching, waiting. Finally Zildor looked at Fiate.

"I will take care of this," he said arrogantly.

"No," Faite said, "he is crafty."

Zildor through up his arms, "good luck with this Haradin," loud growling began to come from the wooded area, after a bit three bears came lumbering out of the woods.

"Hold your ground," Haradin yelled, he could see the warriors were not fit to fight such a battle.

The bears began to charge at the warriors, killing several quickly, one bear was slain then another, the last bear became angrier, and killed several more men until only five not including Haradin were left. The dear lunged at Haradin, but his quick reflexes made the bear fall on his sword.

"Very nice king," Faite smirked he ran headlong at the group of men, as he often did in battle.

"Get ready men," Haradin said quickly.

The dawrf slashed two more down, while Haradin wasn't looking the three others were killed by Zildor. Haradin backed up slowly, making sure both his enemies were in front of him.

"They were grunts," said Haradin, "I am a King and wont be as easy to defeat."

OoC: well I honestly have no clue what is going to happen or how this will end, but I like it!

Ooc: 1 thing, my charac isn't arrogant, just confidant.
Bic:

"You may be a king, but that doesn't mean that you are extremely skilled," I retorted, "Just able to hold your own for a little while, but against me, you are nothing."
With this I froze his feet and I lunged at him. He managed to divert my attack and make me go to his side. I swung towards his back and he was lucky enough to block it. He managed to shatter the ice, and began to back towards the trees. Faite appears behind him and blocks off his exit.

"I don't think so, Haradin... You're not going anywhere." Faite said, blocking the kings retreat. Faite eyed the leg that his fire ball had hit earlier, and noticed that it had melted together... so maybe... faite shot two fireballs, one at the left of the king, and on to the right. The're would be no way for the king to dodge them without jumping into the way of Zildor's blade.

Faite watched as the king did the one thing that Faite new any seasoned warior would do, and ducked, Which allowed Faite to bring his foot squarley into his face, knocking him out cold. Just then a shimmering portal appeared.

"Congratulations Faite... now that you have served your purpose, you must die." All of a sudden, Faite was on his back, blacking out out. He looked over to Zildor, who had also blacked out.
