Broken Prayers(Sage of Ice)

*Sage's intro*

Cer climbed up the mountain until he got into the ancient temple. The roof had long since crumbled in, and the pews had rotted away. The stained glass windows were broken, and the altar was crumbling. He stepped into the center of the old church, awaiting his foe.
Out of the shadows his opponent came, though the shadows had to be pretty big. His opponent barely fit within the temple, as he was enourmous.
"Enoch." said Cer
"Cer." growled Enoch.
"Enough formalities. Let's fight."

Enoch tightened his hold on his massive stone club. He knew this would be a battle he wouldn't forget.
Enoch and Cer had known of and had occasionally run into each other since Cer had been scarred. Occasionally he had helped Cer find the answers he was looking for, but now it seemed that both of them were in the way of eachother's goals, and now it had come to this.
"I will fight you." growled Enoch. "But I warn you: If you die here, it was not by my hands."
"And vice versa."
Cer loaded his longbow and fired. The arrow lodged itself in Enoch's toe. He bellowed, though mostly out of shock. Enoch swung his club to the floor, which sent out a shockwave through the whole temple.

As the shockwave came near Cer, he jumped into the air so that it would go under him. He landed after the shockwave had passed. Cer shot two arrows at the eyes of Enoch then ran toward him with his katana drawn slashing wildley at his feet.

Enoch was instantly blinded, though in extreme pain. He screamed and started kicked around as he felt something cutting into his feet. He got the arrows out without leaving anything behind. He heard a horrid noise, and he turned around. He saw a stained glass window on the other side of the temple letting glass fall, and he saw Cer climbing back into the temple. He looked pretty bloodied up. Enoch picked up a huge slab of broken wall from the dusty floor, and threw it toward Cer

Cer faded to the left of the slap of rock and sent down lightning which hit him in his arms, catching them on fire. In the process he would drop his club onto his foot. Cer then fired three arrows at Enoch's chest. All in the area of where the heart would be.

OOC: Trees don't have hearts. They have heartwood though, which is at the very centre of the tree. And in a very old tree, that would be very hard to penitrate.
BIC: Enoch dropped the the floor, putting out the fire on his arms. His foot hurt, but he had taken worse hits from his club. He heard glass break, and realized that Cer had fired more arrows at him.
Enoch had an idea. He kept rolling, only toward Cer. He ran, but Enoch kept rolling after him. In a matter of moments, Enoch rolled over him. He stood back up, and saw Cer getting up, in a whole ton of pain, full of splinters, but still alive.
'His adrennalin(sp?) must be really high' thought Enoch in disbelief.
"Ready to give up?" bellowed Enoch.

Cer used his lightning powers catching Enoch's head on fire. Then Cer caught one of the arrows on fire from the embers coming off Enoch's head. He then aimed the arrow at Enoch. Enoch new his aim would be off a little bit with his emense pain. Enoch decided to back off, just in case. But then Enoch realized he was at an edge. Then Cer realized this to, so he then sent down lightning again to crack the edge of the ledge he was standing on. As Enoch was falling he grabbed Cer by the leg. In that moment Cer shot the arrow at him, but it missed. They fell for many miles down into the floor. Finally hitting the cold floor at the bottom. Then Cer realized he had a broken leg. (Enoch you are burning in this entire time.)

Enoch looked around, searching for something to put out the fire. Through his flaming, or at this point half flaming body, since the flames on half his body had been smothered by the fall. He managed to see this pit had a deep pool. He ran as fast as he could into it and dove to it's depths. While Cer, bloodied, scratched, and having a broken leg, was pulling splinters out, Enoch got an idea. He splashed a huge wave, the size of a small tsunami, onto the shore. He knew that Cer couldn't escape that.

Cer then got a brilliant idea for a move. Cer used his lightning power to strike Enoch, who was covered with water at the time. Enoch caught on fire in and was electricuted. He fell to the floor in in so much pain, he just kept on burning. He tried to put himself out, but it just wasn't helping much. The fire spread onto his legs then to his head and arms. The water washing away the remains. Then the wave hit Cer throwing him into a wall. He was on the floor at after the water had gone. He tried to get up weakly, but he was in so much pain. (BTW you used to be wet, but the lightning dried you and then caught you on fire.)

OOC: Wood doesn't conduct electricity, so much of this wouldn't happen. Let's go back to where you were about to make a move and redo it.

The injured cer raises his katana and plunges it deep into huis heart a suicide.
" His last attempt." Said enoch
Cer could not face dying by the hand of anyone but himself after his tragic life.

Enoch looked at Cer in horror. Had he really commited suicide? He checked Cer's pulse. Fortunantly, he had missed his heart, but had punctured his lungs. He knew that if he pulled out the kantana himself, he would kill Cer, since his lungs would fill, and he'd slowly suffocate. Enoch picked up Cer's injured body in one hand, and climbed out of the deep pit. After an hour, he found a villiage with a medic. He left Cer in the medic's care, who said Cer would live, but it would take a long time to recover. After doing this, Enoch walked off into the distance. He knew that the farther he got away from civilazation, the sooner he would heal.
