Temple training (Bahamut)

ooc: Alright, can you please make the intro? I’ll be using Kai. (if you don't remember him he's in character approval)

The place will be a ruined temple deep in the jungle. Both fighters are very unfamiliar with it, and there are many hidden passageways, traps etc. It is about dusk, and the sun is just setting.

Re: Temple training (Bahamut)

Ooc: Ok, its been a while. I'll be using Zohik since he is my only char and is also part of me.

IC:
Dew dripped from vines of the great Juni Trees in the Jungle. Zohik walked along the cold path as mist slowly raised before him. He had never lost his clothing before but his shirt was gone and his sheathe was gone also. He had miss placed them before and came back to find them but something felt different around the place he once was. The air spelt of death and suddenly he found himself standing before a temple. He looked upon the magnificent building with wondering eyes. His muscles suddenly tensed as he turned to see a shadow around the edge of this area. He looked closer to see the shape of a man but weapons were shown clearly. He was no traveler, but who was he he. Zohik's relaxed hand went quickly into a fist and tightened harder and harder as he waited to see what lied before him.

"I've been expecting someone but not you. This is a suprise. Well no point in waiting." The man said as he stepped out of the shadowed area. "Are you suprised also or did you know I would be here?"

"I didn't expect you either but I don't expect to stay in the same way." Zohik said as he relaxed slightly but still kept up his guard for he knew of this man's skills. "Kai, step aside and let me pass. Unless you feel that you have finished your training? No one ever finishes their training really and those who think, die."

They both stood silent until Kai broke the silence. "I...I will not step aside for your passing. You will learn from me now. Come!" He said as He drew his sword with great speed. When men challenge others to battle they have reasons. But it seemed to Zohik that Kai had none at all yet but soon he would have one.

Kai almost seemed mad but confused by what he was doing. Zohik thought to himself, "Why is he fighting? What thoughts does he have. I think he may have enough of no reason to have strength. He doesn't have anything to loose so He can give all he has. I...I can't." Why was Zohik lead to a temple if they were to fight?

Re: Temple training (Bahamut)

Kai’s mind was a blur. Thoughts were rapidly racing through his mind as a cool spring mist blew by his face. “Kill” That haunting voice that Kai knew so well rang in his head. It was his blade, and it had a strange power over him. “But-But he is my master.” Kai thought. The voice came again in Kai’s head, chilling him to the bone. “Kill him, you are strong, let him learn something from you this day” Kai was angry and confused, and felt his blood boil. “Zohik” Kai slowly said. “You die here today, yes, it was me who summoned you to this temple. And it will be me who triumphs this day.”

Zohik looked befuddled, that his own apprentice would betray him so. He realized Kai was not in full control here. The demonic Hylian smirked and drew his legendary blade, Hellspawn Kaitengiri. “That is no ordinary blade you wield” Zohik said calmly to Kai. “But I will not fail” Zohik’s eyes flamed as he drew the sword of life.

Zohik could tell that this was not the over confident, cocky young Kai he had once known. He had honed his abilities, and learned to control his anger. This would truly be his ultimate test.

The two warriors just stood there, not blinking once. They were waiting for the other to make a move. Kai charged suddenly, and brought the Hellspawn Kaitengiri down hard on Zohik, who barely managed to dodge. The blade nicked his shoulder, drawing a speck of blood. Zohik countered the blow with an upward slash from his blade, which caught Kai in the mouth, and sent him sprawling.

He hit the trunk of a tree hard, but got up again. “Clear your mind, Kaidranis” Zohik said calmly. “I sense your anger, I thought I had taught you better than that.” Kai rose from the cold jungle grass. “You were correct” Kai said as he wiped the blood from his mouth. He got up and grasped the hilt of his Hellspawn Kaitengiri broadsword once again. He smirked despite his wound. “You have, master”
