Searching for It, Finding It (Lady Ranny)

She was out again, in the night. She was searching for more. She wanted more... She needed more. She had found some in a small rabbit, but it wasn't enough. She needed a human's. Only one of them would have enough to satisfy her, and so she searched for one. But she had a small problem... She couln't find one. She was too far from a village or town, so she needed to find one here... here in this field. It was almost completely flat, and not a single tree could be found for miles. There was some grass, but it was mostly soft dirt and rocks.

She first made a barely audible grunt, then a slightly louder one, and then she just shrieked. "SSSHHKEEEEE!!" She was utterly irritated. A small flock of birds flew away, frightened by Vixen's scream. She ran at them, pulled out her Keris with amazing speed, jumped up, and brought one down to the ground. She dropped to her knees, picked up the now dead bird, and examined it. It was a fairly large bird, so it would provide enough to tide her over for a little while, and so Vixen jammed her fangs into the bird's chest, quickly sucking every drop of blood from it's body. It was sweet to her, pleasing, but not entirely filling. A little of the blood dripped from the right end of her mouth, but she quickly licked it up. Vixen had stayed down on her knees for several moments before she ran off to the North. She needed more blood to fill for a long while, so her search for an unlucky human went on.

Finally, to her luck, she spotted one. She could see very well in the night, and could clearly see this human. The man was tall, and looked like he had more than a day's worth of the blood Vixen wanted in him. He was probably enjoying the night on the small patch of grass where he was standing. She walked right up behind him, and decided she'd have a little fun with her victim. She gave a little hiss just before kicking the man in the back, nearly knocking him over. He was able to stand his ground, but stumbled forward a few steps to regain his balance. Vixen smiled at the man once he turned and faced her, giving a loud, short hiss... as if she were taunting him to fight.

"Ow! What in the--" Judo said as a foot suddenly struck him from behind. He was standing in a meadow not far from Hyrule, just having a pleasant evening to himself until this interruption occurred. The young knight turned around to see a black-clothed woman with swords sheathed on her. Her hair was also dark and her eyes were a bright red. The most notable feature was the fangs dropping slightly over her bottom lip.

"A vampire?" Judo said to himself. The lady vampire simply hissed, giving Judo the idea she could not talk like he could. Knowing a little about vampires, Judo remembered they always fed on blood and guessed the lady vampire before him sought his own. Standing guard, the knight drew his sword, not knowing whether the vampire could understand his words.

"I'd better warn you, I'm not an easy opponent," Judo warned, and twirled Arion in his hand after he drew it from its sheathe.

With that, the two started moving in a circle while facing one another. Judo readied himself in case the vampire chose to charge at him, while the vampire herself drew her own swords, ready for battle. She simply hissed and shrieked, but in a way that told Judo she was prepared.

"Kish-hish-hish..." To the man it would sound like a devilish laugh; to Vixen it was a laugh at how silly the man acted. No easy opponent? she thought. They're never opponents... Just targets... Victims.
She'd drawn her two Yatagan and the two had circled for a moment. Vixen was the first to stop, looking right at the man's eyes. She tossed both blades up, pulled out her Keris, tossed it up, and started to juggle the weapons for a little bit, while still staring at the man and starting to circle with him again. "Tsh nreeek!" she screamed at the man before she tossed her Keris at his left arm. It cut through the cloth of his arm, and only a bit of skin. There was no blood, which disappointed Vixen.

The man had jumped to the side after the blade had passed him, due to a delayed reaction at how fast the weapon had flown past him. He was facing Vixen's side now, but Vixen made no movement, other than to stare into the man's eyes again. Fearing it might be some mind trick, or something to give her an advantage, Judo looked away from her face, instead focusing on her swords, and where they might fly. However, Vixen had no such abilities. She turned at the man now, and froze again. Judo spoke out.
"Are you a coward? Can't you fight?"
Vixen merely hissed at Judo again and looked up. She flung her arms out, and screamed, "MEEEESHIII!" Every part of her turned to a very dark brown color, and suddenly she seemed to explode. The dark of the night made the hundred little mosquitoes difficult to see, and they flew everywhere. Judo took a slash at the ones that came near him, hitting a few, but as suddenly as they appeared they seemed to just be gone.

Minutes passed without sign of anything. Judo wanted to relax, but feared that the creature might come back. His senses told him that when someone explodes, they're gone. His feelings told him to be on his guard. Judo's feeling were right, because seconds later Vixen walked up behind him, and was ready to sock him in the head, but Judo's feelings got the better of him, and he whipped around swinging his sword as he did. Vixen tried to dodge by spinning around, while lunging back and bending her back away from the sword, but it slammed right into her side, cutting her clothes. She was knocked to the ground by the force of the blow, but her body didn't have a single cut on it. Vixen felt the pain from the impact, but she was otherwise un-injured. The blade wasn't made of silver, and thus could not cut her, no matter how much forced was used. It acted now as only a blunt weapon, like a really big metal club.

Knowing what little he did of vampires, Judo had no clue as to why she wasn't cut., but while Vixen was down Judo grabbed his dagger and attempted to jam it into Vixen's back by the spine, which would normally kill a human, but the blade only poked through her clothes. Vixen had dropped both of her Yatagan, so she had only her nails for the moment. Seconds after the man attempted to stab her, she flipped around, dug the nails on her left hand into Judo left arm where there was no armour, and with her right hand she took a quick swipe at his face, cutting it slightly, and leaving three lightly bleeding cuts. His arm was not so lucky, however, as the nails had gone in through the cloth about a centimeter, leaving five bleeding cuts in him arm. He pulled away and jumped back a couple feet, alowing Vixen to get up herself. The pain in her back was very sharp, but she stood quite steadily for a moment, then ran over to her Keris, picked it up, sheathed it, and ran back to her Yatagan, which she also picked up. All of this was done in under ten seconds thanks to her amazing vamipiric speed. The two faced each other again, and Vixen charged with one Yatagan pointed at Judo, and the other obviously ready to hack away at him. Judo stood his ground, very ready to counter.

Blast! If I can't stab her, how in Din's name am I supposed to win? Judo thought to himself as he stood aground, ready to counter anymore attacks from the vampire. However, he also knew that if the vampire's fangs reached his blood at all, he'd either die or become a vampire himself. Perhaps if Judo whacked her hard enough, he could put her in too much pain to bear or even break a bone. With that, he charged at her, and the two began clashing swords.

For some time, the two of them kept hitting their swords against one another and neither of them inflicted any damage. Judo noticed the fight wasn't going anywhere that way and backed off. The vampire, however, still went for him, her craving for his blood growing more, and Judo stepped out of the way, causing her to miss. He whacked the lady on the back as hard as he could, hoping to hurt her enough to where she grew too weak to fight. The vampire took the pain alright, however, but did look like it was a severe blow, as she stayed on the ground for a few seconds after landing.

"I warned you I'm not easy to fight against," Judo repeated. "If you want my blood, you'll have to try harder than that."

The vampire rose to her feet after hearing Judo's words and simply hissed at him again. Judo still kept his guard up and stood aground in case she charged again, but since that trick hadn't worked the first time, Judo thought she was smart enough not to try it again. However, the vampire did nothing this time, and simply stood her own ground as if she were trying to think of another way to break through Judo's defense.

This man was fast when the action didn't require moving distances, that much was obvious. But what about moving combat? It would be easy enough for Vixen, with her amazing speed, but she wondered how the man would fair. To her he was acting tough because he though he was so strong, and she admitted to herself that he had decent strength behind his blows. But he wasn't equip to kill her... not even a wooden steak.

Vixen acted now. Almost instantly she was at Judo's side, still a safe distance away. As Judo turned to look at her in shock she moved again, now behind him. She ran, jumped at him, flipped, and pushed off his shoulders with her hands, pressing him down. She charged now from the front after landing, bringing down both her Yatagan at full strength. Judo put his sword up, while still down on one knee, and blocked successfully, but his arm and sword were slammed into the ground. Vixen's face was very close to his now, and she smiled with an utterly evil look. Judo brought his free hand up and socked Vixen's nose, causing her to reel backwards several feet before she fell into a sitting position.

"TISSSHHH! Kasshhah!" she screamed in anger. Despite the annoyance this man was, she continued to "play" with him. She stood up and charged again, now with her Keris, and as she came close to the now standing Judo, she dropped her weapon, and jumped right into Judo's chest, slamming into his sword in the process. She was now sitting on top of him, right over his stomach. She was struggling to hold his arms down; he was strong, but she was a tad more so. Vixen hissed lightly at Judo, then slammed her forehead into his, dazing him ever so slightly. Again she slammed heads with him, but then flipped forward, over Judo's head, and onto her feet. She turned, facing Judo as he began to get up. Judo suddenly felt himself slam to the ground again, Vixen's foot was on his right shoulder now. He grabbed at her ankle, and pulled on it as he quickly luanched himself up, bringing Vixen now to the ground. She was caught completely off-guard by this, laying on the ground for several moments, still as a stone. Judo wasn't going to let his guard down, but did slowly inch towards the body on the ground. Seeing this Vixen sat up; Judo's reaction was to back away, out of her reach. Her Keris was quite a distance away now, and she decided to leave it be for now. The two just stood in their places, Vixen not doing anything, while Judo was defensive.

After naught but a moment Vixen ran again at Judo, aiming to use her nails. As she approached Judo dropped Arion, and grabbed Vixen's left arm. He flipped her, and himself, around so that they were back-to-back, then locked Vixen's arms in his, preventing escape. He took in a quick breath, then dropped onto his back, slamming Vixen into the ground with his, and his armour's, weight on top of her. He rolled off and looked at Vixen. Her entire body was pressed, face down, into the ground. Her left leg was twitching a bit.

Judo made sure to pick up Arion before she got back up, but still she didn't move. Judo hoped he'd at least knocked her out, and turned around to leave. At first he was just walking, listening carefully for any signs of movement, but there was only a breeze. Soon he began to walk faster, and faster, now jogging away. Suddenly her heard a noise in the air, and looking up he could barely make out something dark in the sky, hoping it was just a bird. Unfortunately for him, it wasn't; it was Vixen as a Vampire Bat. She flew several yards in front of Judo, and changed back. Judo wanted to turn away and run again, but he knew now that she'd be on him in seconds. So he stood again, ready for what she may have.

Vixen walked at a normal pace toward Judo, looking him over and thinking. She hadn't had the feeling of fun for a very long time. Maybe she should play with all of her prey. Yes, maybe. But despite the fun she was having, her hunger for his blood was getting too strong. She needed to deal with him soon, but she could have a little more fun.

Once she was is range of Judo's sword, he jumped into the air for a Helm Splitter. However, Vixen ducked and spun around, completely dodging the attack. She was now facing Judo, and Judo had his back turned. But the attack also gave Vixen an idea. She took her Keris, and did as Judo had done, jumping and slashing while in the air above the opponent. Having not done something like this before, she missed his head, and instead slammed her blade into Judo's right pauldron, forcing him to stumble back a bit. Vixen landed and swerved around, running at Judo again with her Keris, aiming for his right side. Judo prepared a fitting counter, but too late did he realize that Vixen angled her attack now to the left. She grabbed his right arm, and stopped, then nealed, thus pulling Judo onto his back again.

Judo lay stunned for a moment, but suddenly jumped up, grabbing Vixen's arm, and positioning his chest over her back. He was going to attempt to get her arms and body locked in a "bear hug" of sorts from the back, but Vixen reeled around and slapped Judo like an offended lady. Luckily for Judo her nails didn't touch him, so there were no more cuts, but she did slap him right over the cuts that were already there, making the pain worse. He looked up at Vixen's face, and she was frowning, like he was her pet, and had done something wrong.
"I'm not your pet!" he shouted right at her. Her frown couldn't go away... it was a part of her face, but it did lighten. Neither of them realized he was still holding Vixen's left arm in his hand until a moment later, when she pulled it away. She looked at Arion, which Judo had dropped when she knocked him down, then looked back at Judo, and pointed at it, as if telling him to pick it up. Judo just stared at the creature. Suddenly she hissed loudly at him, like a demand. Judo winced slightly, then looked over at Arion, which was sitting just at his feet.

Judo simply gave the vampire lady a blank look as she hissed angrily at him, plainly telling him to pick Arion up. Now if she wants to defeat me and get my blood, why would she let me get my weapon back? he thought. Wait a minute, I bet anything she's just toying with me, trying to have some fun in getting me exhausted so it'd be easier for her to get my blood.

"Okay, I see what you're up to now," Judo said. "You're just playing games with me. Normally I'd say I don't have time for nonsense like this, but when I know my neck is at stake, I can't horse around!" With that, Judo snatched Arion from the ground and decided to distract the vampire while he came up with a plan to get her out of his hair. If his sword and dagger were useless in giving her more than just bumps and bruises, then he could only turn to martial arts skills for hopes of getting her too injured to fight at all.

Judo charged towards the vampire, but had a trick up his sleeve. He pretended he was about to attack with Arion, but as he approached the woman, he sheathed the sword and threw a flying punch right into her upper chest and sent her flying high enough to make it above the floor of the second floor of a building. Judo didn't want to kill her, as he had no reason to do so, and did not aim where the vampire's heart would be.

The vampire came down to the ground with a look on her face that showed she was in a lot of pain. Judo was stronger than she had anticipated, and she now knew his strength could weaken her a lot if he kept this up. Judo grabbed the vampire before she could touch the grassy ground, however, and tossed her upwards again. This time, however, Judo jumped, did a three sixty, and kicked her in the stomach. She landed several feet away due to the knight's powerful legs. By now, the vampire had been bruised up pretty good.

If she were still human, Vixen would have been coughing up blood at this point. She couldn't be off guard anymore. She was stronger, but it meant nothing if she couldn't defend herself. The distance he'd knocked her away allowed her to regain her composure. She stood, slightly bent over, and watched the man charge again.

...She was so glad he couldn't kill her.

To Vixen's dismay, she hadn't enough time to gain enough strength back to fight just yet. The man jumped into the air, a bit higher than Vixen's head, brought his leg out straight, and came down with it onto her left shoulder. This slammed her into the ground, on her back. Recovery from an attack like that is slower than with others. Vixen decided that if her little pet wanted to play rough, she'd do so as well. She launched her back up enough for her to grab his shoulders, then yanked him down, slamming their heads together again. She pushed him lightly up, then gave him a swift kick to the chest, knocking him onto his back.

Vixen now sat up, and rubbed her head. Three strikes to the head really hurt, but thankfully she wasn't out. Judo sat up as well, rubbing his own head. Not having the near invincible skull of a Vampire, he'd taken more of a shock from the blows, but it wasn't enough to stop this warrior. He stood in a defensive position, waiting for either an attack, or an opening, while Vixen got up onto her feet. She observed his pose, and decided to try something. She ran at him, but her right wrist was grabbed, then her left. She feigned surprise at Judo's actions, and pretended to struggle a bit. Considering her condition, she was actually weakened to the point where it would take some real effort to break free of such a grasp. However, that was not her direct intention. Instead, she used Judo's strong grip as leverage to launch her body up. With both feet she used all the force in her legs to send a lightning quick kick into Judo's face.

Judo's face and arm were cut from before, his nose was now bleeding, probably broken, and he even had red marks in the shape of shoes imprinted on his face. He was quite dazed from such a strong blow right to his face, but hardly faltered. He had hit the ground with a thud, but her got back up near instantly. Adrenaline was keeping him going strong like this. Vixen came in for another melee attack, but as she got close, Judo whipped out Arion, faster than a human's eye could see, and slammed it into Vixen's side. This knocked her away from him, and he got a shrieking scream from her. Instead of being disabled by the force of the blow, as Judo had hoped, she got right back up, and stepped right back to Judo. One could clearly see that she was incredibly annoyed now.

Judo took another swift swing at her, but grunted slightly when his sword stopped suddenly. Vixen had grabbed it with her bare hands. She put both hands on the sword's blade, and yanked it right from Judo's own hands. Had she been human, there's no way she would have gotten his sword, but her speed and strength gave her what she needed to take Judo's blade. She turned around and tossed it far, far away from the two of them. But turning was a mistake, because Judo jumped onto her back, and started to swing at her head, while his legs were locked around her waist. One, two, three, and four blows to her head. The shock of each punch kept Vixen from reacting at first, but she grew determined. She spun around, and around, forcing Judo to stop striking her, and to just try to hold on, as she was spinning very fast now. She stopped. Judo flew off. With all the momentum he had from spinning, his grip was near useless, other than the fact that it brought Vixen to the ground also.

Both got up in great pain. Some small stones had given Judo a couple more small cuts, and Vixen could see them. She walked right up to Judo, and once she was close enough Judo threw a punch at her. She caught his hand, then let go. He throw another, and another right after that. Her arms seemed to be in one place, then another in no time at all. She was blocking all his punches. Judo tried to throw a punch, them immediately kick, but she blocked the punch, and dodged the kick. She was perfectly capable of dodging almost every one of his attacks before, but she was playing then. She was serious now, so when Judo stopped attacking, she started. The first few strikes were easy enough to block, but they began to get faster and soon it was only by luck that he managed to block some of them. Judo would have done something by now, anything to get away, or counter her, but she was attacking too fast for him. Cuts were appearing here and there, one on his face, a few on his arms, and blood was flowing.

Vixen was in Frenzy now. Her attack moved so fast, even she had a hard time seeing them. She scratched, jabbed, and socked at Judo's upper body for only a few seconds more, before delivering a sudden blow to his crotch. Needless to say, Judo fell over... to his "joy." Vixen didn't realize that Judo had fallen at first, and soon tripped over him, sending her face down into the ground. Judo was curled up like a beaten dog, writhing in pain. The cuts didn't feel like much compared to the kick he'd taken to his crotch... That was the worst pain a man could feel. After a few minutes the pain began to fade. Judo slowly sat up, his muscles aching like crazy. He glanced at Vixen. She was still laying, splayed out, face down on the ground. Had she worked her own body to death? COULD she work her own body to death?
Judo's injuries were plenty, his muscles ached, and he couldn't really move. He fell down, onto the soft, green grass... and dozed off into a deep sleep.

When Judo woke up the sun was high in the sky. It... must be mid-day... he thought to himself. His eyes were only half open when he thought this, but they soon shot wide open. The Vampire! Was she still there? Judo sat up. His muscles were a bit worse than before, but his smaller cuts had healed, and the rest of his body felt much better, though he did have a splitting headache. His eyes searched for Vixen, and they found her... STILL laying on the ground face down. Judo assumed her to be dead, and took some time to look himself over. His skin... it was ever so slightly pale.
"What!? NO! I can't...! I can't be a Vampire!" he shouted out of pure shock. Unknown to him, was that Vixen managed to take a few sips of his blood, but was far too weak to take any more, and fell back into her dead-looking position. Luckily for Judo, he was not a Vampire. Vixen began to stir, and Judo jumped up to his feet, drawing his dagger, just in case. Vixen sat up, with her back to Judo, then looked behind her, an expression of annoyance and pain on her face. She stood, and waddled over to Judo. Taking this, like all of her previous actions, as hostile, Judo had intended to jab Vixen with his dagger to push her away. Instead, the dagger dug right into her skin.
"Wah!?" Judo froze in surprise.
"TAAAAAAAASSHHEEEEEEK!!!" The scream that came from Vixen made Judo cover his ears and cringe, though that didn't help much. Judo could think of only one reason why the dagger went into her skin... the sun! It had to be, and it was. With the sunlight Vixen lost nearly all advantages gained from being a Vampire.

Vixen took out her Yatagan swords, and stared, squinting at Judo. Her face was that of pain, and sadness... suffering. While it was a ploy, she really was in pain from the one wound. Almost all her others had healed over-night, but this one caused genuine suffering for her. Judo gave back only a stern look. He reached for Arion... but couldn't feel the sword. He remembered now that Vixen had tossed it away somewhere. His dagger would have to suffice. The two only stared at each other, neither twitching a single muscle now...

"Hehe, looks like the tide has turned!" Judo said, breaking the silence. "Without the darkness, you're nothing against me!"

With that, Judo charged once more, but with the dagger, hoping to find some way to stall the vampire until he could locate his sword. Instead of striking, however, he pulled the same trick as before and attempted to strike her with his fists again. Because she was much weaker than before, Judo was quick enough to land a punch right in her upper chest again and send her in the air. When she came back down, Judo caught her by the throat and held her up with one hand. He ran with her and tossed her right into a nearby pond, causing her to go partially unconscious. Immediately he rushed back where he'd come, jumped on his horse, Duke and rode away as quickly as he could to find his sword before the vampire woke up.

Judo pushed Duke to top speed in the direction the sword had been thrown and was led to some woods. Making the horse come to a quick halt, Judo jumped off and scrambled inside, hoping his sword was there and no one had found it. He cut his way through when necessary using the dagger and soon spotted Arion caught in a high tree. Judo started to climb up when he heard noises coming from behind him. The vampire must not have been out long and was pursuing him again. Judo climbed as fast as he could and was at the top when the vampire appeared at the tree's base. She grabbed some rocks and started tossing them at Judo, whom was struggling to get Arion loose. Suddenly, a rock hit the branch Judo was on and had not only made him lose his balance, but shake his sword lose as well.

"Aaaah!" Judo screamed as he started falling. He snatched Arion as fast as he could since the blade was falling with him and drove it into the tree trunk to slow his fall, the vampire not moving an inch below him. She hissed angrily as Judo let go of the tree and began attacking once more. The two of them only ended up clashing their blades together, but since Judo was a great deal stronger now, he was easily able to push her away. The impact was so great that the vampire went right into a bush, allowing Judo to try escaping once more. He fled right back in the path he'd taken before, despite the fact his armor slowed him down.

Once Judo reached the entrance, he could already hear the vampire coming after him again and groaned when he jumped upon Duke again and galloped off.

"Ugh, doesn't she ever give up?" Judo asked himself. "Well, no matter. As long as I'm on Duke, she shouldn't be able to catch me." It had to be impossible for the vampire to get him now, as Duke was one of the fastest war horses in the land of Hyrule. Judo sped off in the distance as the vampire's figure grew smaller and smaller behind him.

It was clear now that there was no easy way to just chase this man now, but that wasn't enough to make Vixen give up. It was apparent he was following a path, probably expecting it to lead to a village or something, but because of this, Vixen knew where he'd end up, assuming he stayed on the path. There wasn't a town for a few miles, so it'd be a long while before he'd be able to reach one. If he happened to get to the one at the end of that certain path, Vixen hoped he would stop to rest. She began her run along the road, and even though she had nearly nothing of her Vampirism left for the time, she was still able to run a long time without wearing out, but only as fast as a human. This irritated her greatly, but she pressed on, running for a good long while. She ran, walked, ran, walked, and ran... on and off, on and off, until night. Finally the powers of a Vampire surged through her now weary body once again. Her strength increased, stamina peaked, and her senses were full. She took off like some wild beast chasing it's prey, which was nearly the case.

Vixen ran, ran, and ran until she came to the gates of the town. By now it was dawn again, and her powers faded once more. She took out her cloak, placed it on, and put up the hood, to cover her face. Her blades were nearly hidden inside, as well as most of her paled skin. She waited for a time so that the gates would be opened for the day's travellers, and entered as the first group came. Her nose quickly went to work, searching for the scent of the man she'd fought earlier. Only moments later it was clear that he was in a large building, probably an inn of some sort, though this meant little to Vixen. She went behind to the back alley of the building and looked for the highest window. Based on the strength of the scent, she guessed the man was somewhere higher up, and so she began to climb the wall, her nails making crunching noises as they were jammed into the wall, allowing her to climb. Unknown to her, however, a simple hobo had chosen that alley for a resting spot the past night. The horrid sounds of Vixen's nails in the wall woke the man, and a few occupants of the inn. The hobo slowly looked up, then jumped to his feet, speechless, as he watched this lady in a black cloak climbing a wall. Suddenly he screamed out in utter fear, alerting Vixen to his presence. She looked behind her and down, observing the man. He was clearly stunned from the shock, so she took her keris, and threw it with great speed at the man's neck. He fell against the wall, and slowly slid down to the ground. He was dead, but he'd woken up the back half of the inn, and alerted two guards who had begun running to the back of the building.

Judo had a surprisingly nice rest that night, despite what had happened just the day before. However, any dream he was having was abruptly interrupted by the scream of a man, somewhere outside Judo's window. He jumped up, grabbed Arion, and ran to the window, throwing open the shutters and looking straight out. All there was from that angle was a sky, so he looked right below him as soon as he heard a strange crunching sound. It was the Vampire, back again, still chasing him. It stared at him for a moment before smirking at him, and continuing it's climb, being now only a few feet away. Judo stabbed at it's left hand, but it dodged by letting go with that hand, and then, thrusting itself up with it's right arm, reached for the window sill with it's left hand. Upon grabbing on, she took a swipe to keep Judo back, but looked down. Two guards, as well as several citizens were crowded in the alley, looking up at Vixen, and making quite a ruckus. The Vampire hissed loudly at them, and Judo noticed the guards run around to the other side, very likely heading for the entrance, or at least some backup.

Vixen hated the noise the people below her were making, so she hissed and shrieked at them to make them shut up. However, the only result of this was that the guards left to get help, or so she assumed. She turned her attention back to the man, who had also been watching the guards. She leaped into the window, and tackled the man to the ground. Knowing he was currently stronger, she quickly pounced off him, but threw her cloak over his head as he got up. This distracted the man for a second, allowing Vixen enough time to draw out her yatagan before he could get the cloak off. But as soon as the man had his sights again on Vixen, he charged with his sword towards her. She blocked, but the power of the blow sent her crashing through the wall leading to the next room. The occupants were scared out of their minds, leaving them stunned as Vixen flew through the wall. She looked up at them, flipped to her feet, and grabbed one of the two people, cause the other to run from the room in fear. Vixen was holding a single yatagan at the throat of her prisoner, and looked at the man, staring right into his eyes. After a small time of staring, Vixen motioned for him to throw his sword aside, knowing he wouldn't want even this stranger to die. Nothing happened for a moment, but the man's arms were shaking, clearly from indecision. She slowly started to draw blood from the man, pulling the blade carefully along her prisoner's throat. He was screaming out in fear, startling the man with the sword.

If he didn't drop his sword, the Vampire would clearly kill the man, but if he did, she may still kill the man anyway. Judo's mind was racing, he could think straight, but the two choices would likely end the same way. He was about to run at the Vampire, when she began to slit the other man's throat, making him scream. This startled Judo as his nerves were on end. He almost dashed, but two guard burst through the door of the room, and looked around. The Vampire turned to them, cut the man's throat clear through, then jumped at the guards after pulling out her other yatagan. She was able to stab one through the heart, but the other blocked her attack. This gave Judo the chance he needed to make his strike. He swung his sword up, ran, then jammed it into the floor, flinging himself feet-first into Vixen, slamming her into yet another wall, though not through it. Both got up, and the Vampire backed up into a corner, near a window. Judo and the guard covered the Vampire's escape, and slowly closed in.

Vixen was trapped in a corner now, with only one yatagan left, as her keris was now in a man's throat, and her other yatagan was jammed into the other guard's heart. She slid along the wall, closer to the window, but the man she was chasing saw what she was up to, and blocked her path. Vixen stopped for a moment, thinking about a way out. The door was wide open, but the guard was in her path, and the man was covering the window. Fast acting, Vixen ran at the guard, but fell to the ground and slid under him. She jumped up, kicked the guard at the man, who was now in front of the guard as he had tried to catch Vixen before she escaped, and then ran to her other yatagan. She pulled it out, then was about to run into the hallway, but several guard were coming from both ends, leaving her to only go back into the room. As such, she ran in, jumped through the hole in the wall from earlier, then jumped out of the window in that room. She landed on the ground with a sickening thud, lying down, twitching slightly.

Judo peered out the window that the Vampire had leaped out of to see it lying on the ground, almost motionless. He rushed past the guards, down a few flights of stairs, out the front of the inn, then around back. Upon arriving he could see the Vampire leaning against the wall, drinking the blood of the dead hobo, regaining strength. Her keris was back in it's sheath, but her yatagan were stuck into the dirt. Judo took this chance to rush at the Vampire, swinging his sword horizontally at her. It struck her, and sent her several feet away, leaving a large gash on her belly. She stayed down, and stared at Judo, frowning fiercely. She tried to hiss, but her voice gave out, and she fell limp. Judo grabbed up the yatagan, and took the keris from it's sheath, and handed them to a couple guard who had followed him around. Two other guards ran to the Vampire, grabbed her arms, and lifted her up. Judo turned from her, and just wanted to walk away, but the screams of two guards having their throats pierced by very long nails, and the scared looks of the other two guards in front of him told him this was not over. He turned around to see the Vampire had leaped at him, with it's nails pointed at his head. Putting his sword up, time seemed to slow as his adrenaline rushed throughout his entire body...

Judo had successfully blocked the attack when hearing the sound of the vampire's nails shatter from Arion's tough blade. Upon impact, the vamipire hissed angrily at the weapon loss, but would definitely not give up. Judo kept his blade up in front of him and fought hard against the vampire's desperate moves. Still, he'd not forgotten the townspeople she'd attacked and made suffer, and really needed to get the fight away from them. With that, Judo spoke up as loudly as he could so everyone could hear him.

"Everyone! Get out of here! It's me she wants, don't worry!" he exclaimed so loud, it could be heard far down the street. With that, the people did not need to be told twice. They immediately fled as far away as possible. Judo could not help but feel regret as he thought of how it was him who had come there in the first place only to have the female vampire still follow. He would not let anymore innocents be harmed at this point and anger was starting to boil up in his mind.

"You know what, vampire? It's time we ended this once and for all!" he shouted. With that, the battle went on, with some people watching from a distance. All were wondering who would win. The brave armored man with a sword? Or the vampire that attacked their town? Naturally, everyone hoped Judo would win. How could he lose anyway, with how strong and powerful he looked? He looked like a well-trained military leader from their angle, so shouldn't it be more likely that this guy would win? Honestly, only time will truly tell.

Suddenly, when Judo tried to charge at the vampire, he ended up going too fast and the vampire dodged it easily, causing him to fall over. The vampire immediately tried to jump on Judo again, but he quickly rolled out of the way and caused her to be on the ground this time. Scrambling to his feet, Judo grabbed her by her back, wrapped his cape around her, and performed his signature move Blade Storm right there in front of the crowd of people, showing them he would not let himself lose to this vampire woman.

With that, the impact of the Blade Storm's final blow sent the vampire several feet away right into an altar with ropes hanging down in holes. Landing on top, she fell off, blood spilling out of her side from Judo's Blade Storm, and her head accidentally got caught in one of the ropes. She hung there lifeless in seconds after the rope snapped her neck. Judo sheathed his sword as he walked up to the body and smiled, having purposely attempted to make her hit the altar in hopes she'd mistakenly be hung.

"Hehe. How ironic. People feared you and here you are still hanging around," Judo said. He started laughing at his own joke and walked away after that. The townspeople came out and cheered their hero on as he mounted Duke, bid his farewell, and rode off towards his home of Hyrule, for his wife and daughter were sure to be wondering where he was by now.
