Re: Anyone wanna vs Me?
No, infact when he showed me that he did it over at school, I got really interested. I started writing, adn eventually I got the hang of it. I probably shouldn't do this, but just to give you an idea of my basic description I'll post this: (I am in his school though).
CHAPTER ONE: The Raid
Flame. That's all there was. Nothing but the wail of the raging fire, the cracking wood of the burning homes; nothing but the screams of terror. It was a horrible fire devouring the town as the people ran away miserably. The town of Krinai was being invaded as the Sharkools raided every room of the castle above the town. No one could stay and survive the inferno. Men, women, and children saught refuge at Talroy and Tilrin, just a short distance away from the town now bathed in flame. All families had to flee. One of these was Maruki's.
Maruki was 12 now, and was about ready to leave his home with his brother Miyazaki and his mom. His dad, who was a knight of the town, had to stay behind to defend the town against the fire and the menacing Sharkool. He began to run away with his brother as a burst of flame set the family apart. The intimidated family could not locate each other. If they were to try to find each other it would be suicide. They had to escape or they all would die. Maruki headed for Tilrin, as his family fled to Talroy.
Maruki had to pass through Termalka Field and through the Stelkala Trail in order to find refuge at the city he sought. It would take about three days to get there, and Maruki was stuck with neither food, nor any defense against a threat. All he knew was the skill of hand to hand combat, though not enough to defeat a full grown Wulx or Ashalry. He was not prepared for separation from his brother, mother, or his dad. It was just so sudden for him, so quick. He felt that he was still in the town, but no, all he could see was the dim light of the flame eating up the town like a hungry Sharka. He wondered if he would he ever reunite with his family, if he would ever see them again? Separated in two different cities, all because of the Sharkools. He sought revenge with their leader of the raid, no not the leader, the whole race. He wished he could slaughter them all. He walked slowly as mixed emotions and pessimistic thoughts overcame him. He had to rest.
Two members of Maruki's family: his mom and Miyazaki had to walk through the Sholtoy Plain, to make it to Talroy. This was very unexpected, to be separated from each other's family. Miyazaki's dad left to defend the city, it was very likely he would not survive. His brother Maruki, by himself, was left to navigate Termalka field and the Stelkala Trail. Though he tried to keep a straight face, knowing that his dad may die, he may never meet back up with his brother, or both led him to tears. His mom tried to comfort him, but to no avail. His sadness turned into anger and rage. He wished the same as Maruki- to kill all the Sharkools. His mom was keeping serious as they walked, leaving no sign of emotion, though there were little things that Miyazaki noticed which showed how insecure she was. Her lip would sometimes quiver, or tears would form, though they were quickly pushed away. Neither of them spoke. It would be a long time until they made it to Talroy.
The fire was still raging maliciously in Krinai. The heat given off by the flame gave ill strength to Maruki's dad. Clothed in metal plates, and chain mail made the heat worse, though Maruki's father, Yukori fought on, hacking away through the battle lines of Sharkools. He was the best knight out of Krinai, and that was a title he held proudly as he killed Sharkool after Sharkool. He led the line to the front gate to the castle path with his men, and set it on fire, hoping the Sharkools would burn before they entered the king's dwelling. Yukori had no idea that his family was separated, not even sure if they had left yet. This was one of the toughest battles of the city, though he hoped the soldiers would pull through.
Water and sweat dripped down the Sharkools' horns and fangs as they broke through their enemy's lines. Their defensive men were tough, only a few making it through the lines. The leader killed every man in his way as he made his way menacingly to the gate, now breathed in flame. This was a clever trick from the humans, yet it would not be enough to take him down. His ************** sword swung around at the men happily, as he penetrated the
barracades.
~~~~~~~~
Minutes passed like hours with Maruki. With no one to talk to, everything seemed so bleak. He had no food supply, and he was hungry. He had not eaten since the fire, and three hours had passed since the raid. The sky was begining to be filled with the clouds of rain that would soon wash out the fire in Krinai embarassingly. Maruki wished for rain. His mouth was very dry. His tounge was stuck to the top of his mouth. He was only half way into Termalka field. He knew he would collapse soon. He was becoming very weak, almost ready to collapse.
