battle of the fairies (play)

High up in the Mountains of Mist, the warrior known as Tenchi, walks along the rocky path. Surrounded by trees, and the mist of the Mountain, Tenchi, approaches a bridge. The bridge that links the mountain to the city of Bachalem. In the city, lives a wiseman, who might know the wherabouts of his killer. As he crosses the wide and wooden bridge, the sounds of fire, and screams canbe heard. Tenchi, unaware of the situation hurries to the city, quikening his pace. Strangely the mist clears and he notices a man running towards him. Not sure if it was an enemy or a friend, Tenchi takes out and grasps his Tonfa's, in preparation for the encounter. He then notices the face of the stranger, it is Tatsim, the famous assasin, he does not know him, but he has heard news of him. Tatsim, stops, and stares at Tenchi's face.
Tatsim: " Let me pass, I'm in a hurry. "
Tenchi: " No tell me your intentions, and why are you in such a hurry?"
Tatsim: " Are you toying with me? I said let me pass, now. "
Tenchi: " No, I know whom you are, assassin."
Tatsim: " I don't want to hurt you. "
Tenchi: " Neither do I, but I'm afraid I can't let you can't cross. "
Tatsim: " So be it."
Tatsim then releases his sword from it's sheathe, and swiftly swings his Double edged katana horizontally at Tenchi. But before the sword has the chance to do any damage, Tenchi does a back flip, giving him just enough time to evade the attack, and prepare for battle.

Ok,old friend, then lets get it started....

Tatsim then studies the area around him. Far below the bridge there flows a river, and notices that the bridge is being held together by rope. With no time left, Tatsim charges at his opponent, and vertically slashes with his sword. But Tenchi steps to the side, evading the sword, which hits the wood on the floor of the bridge, breaking it. But Tatsim's Katana seems to be stuck to the wood, giving Tenchi the advantage, and the chance to attack, and so he does. Tenchi charges and sidekicks Tatsim off the bridge( with the sword as well ), falling to what seems to be his doom. But Tatsim thinks fast and teleports right behind and above Tenchi, in the air. Taking him by surprise, Tatsim's Katana broke through Tenchi's armor, wounding a small part of his back.

Tenchi, in shock that his fairy armor broke so easily, stumbles around, Tatsim, ceasing the opportunity, jumps down on Tenchi from behind. a Tatsim appraoches Tenchi, Tenchi teleports ahead & rams his tonfa's in Tatsim's face, then Tatsim, in anger, grabs Tenchi by the thraot & slams him onto the bridge

Tatsim, filled with rage, just stares at his opponent, and immedietly calms down.
Tatsim: " Well, well, I never thought I would find one of my kind here, especially in this part of the region. I thought I was the last one, but I guess I was wrong. No matter, that won't change my way of .....dealing with you, incolent maggot."
Tenchi rises, confused,and not knowing what his opponent meant, he takes out his shurickens and throws them at Tatsim.
Tatsim, then teleports past the shurikens, and in front of Tenchi. Tatsim then sword thrusts at Tenchi, with enough speed that he continuoesley sword thrusts at Tenchi, with more and more, at an almost incredible speed. But to his amazement, Tenchi dodges all of the thrusts, at an even faster speed, by just strifing at different movements.

pissed off that his attacks arent landing their mark, Tatsim tackles Tenchi to the floor & attempts to punch tenchi repeadily, but to no avail, Tenchi, as quick as he is guards his face with his tonfa's, Tatsim punching & punching hurts his hands on the tonfa's, then, Tenchi teleports right behind Tatsim & beats on the back of Tatsims head, then, Tatsim teleports to the far end of the bridge.
Tenchi: had enough already???
Tatsim: no, not at all, AAAAAAGGHHHH (Tatsim rushes at Tenchi)
Tatsim raises his sword & thrust it at Tenchi, but this time Tenchi wasnt fast enough & got the sword jammed into his right shoulder.

Tenchi, hurt by the wound, raises his left arm and tries to hit Tatsim with his Tonfa. But Tatsim (with his right arm) catches the tonfa, and Tenchi's arm, twisting the arm with all his strength. Tatsim, drops his sword and then grabs the twisted arm with both hands, and with all his strength, he throws Tenchi down into the middle of the bridge, breaking through it, and falling towards the river. Tatsim knows what stunt Tenchi will try, so he takes out his longbow, and fires dozens of arrows at his adversary, before he gets the chance to teleport.

as Tenchi descends, he see's the arrow that are being launched at him, & tries to teleport but he is so weak from his wounds that he cant, he gets hit with seven arrows out ofal that were fired, two in the ribs, one in each arm, & three in the left leg. Tenchi is seriously wounded, when he fall on a group of rocks at the bottom of the drop. when he fell he got buried in them, then, outta nowhere wings sprout out of the pile of rocks. Tatsim thinking that he died didnt bother looking down after Tenchi's collision. Tenchi, possessed by the inner evil inside him flies toward the bridge & stands in front of Tatsim & side kicks him in the jaw, with the arrows still in his body.

Tatsim, steps back, recovering from the hit, he touches his face, noticing that his jaw is broken, he takes a look at Tenchi......
Tatsim:" Well, this is a supprise indeed, a fairy of darkness, I pressume." I have underestimated you......your ...anger...."

Tatsim, knowing the capabilities, of the opponent, he picks up his katana....
Tatsim " But the question is ....can you control it? "
Tatsim takes out his bow, and releases a fire arrow towards the enemy, not doing much damage, just making it angrier. Followed by another one, and another, until when Tenchi's anger is at
it's breaking point. Tenchi flies towards Tatsim at an incredible speed, then, with only a second to react, Tatsim drops the bow, and immidiatly takes his sword, and throws it with perfect aim, the sword spinning and slicing one of Tenchi's wings off. Before the injured Tenchi collides with Tatsim, Tatsim teleports far behind the monster, catching the sword, as well. Tenchi, barely alive, screams in pain, and soon is changed back to his normal form. But when Tenchi turns, he finds no trace of the assassin, left without a wing, and a shoulder wound, Tenchi continues on through the bridge.......for the battle is over........
