Battle in the Forgotten Pyramid (random)

OoC: I've never really battled before but I've been itching to use my character, so here goes. I'll use my character, Kaitsu, his bio is still in the Character Approval section under Kaitsu of the Falling Heaven. He has been approved. This is for any one person at the moment. Pm me first if you want to join.

Intro: The desert sun beat down with an intense heat that was only comparable to the inside of an oven. Kaitsu's boots made a squishing sound when he stepped on the soft sand. He was glad that he wore a headband, as it kept the rolling sweat from getting into his eyes. Kaitsu stopped and held up his canteen, he shook it next to his ear. He frowned when he did not hear the sloshing of water inside. He took off the cap and brought the rim to his lips, he tipped it and immediately put the cap back on and replaced the canteen in its original spot at his side. "I should have gotten an extra canteen when I had the chance." His head drooped and he continued walking, all the time cursing himself for not thinking ahead.
As he walked he suddenly found that the continuous beatdown of the sun's rays had lifted. He looked up and saw that he was in the shadow of a great pyramid.
Maybe there's some water inside! Kaitsu thought. He picked up his pace and quickly made his way to the temple. Kaitsu stopped in the doorway. He looked at his surroundings, he had the distinct feeling that he was being watched. But who would be all the way out here? He shook his head and accounted the feeling to his thirst and lack of sleep. He entered the pyramid.
Inside, he found a great room. The walls were covered in all sorts of symbols, he did not recognize a single one. The ceiling was high above his head. From the moment he had entered, he had sensed the presence of ghosts. He was unafraid, he was a shaman after all. His whole life was ghosts. He ventured further into the pyramid. In the next room he found a large fountain and drank his fill. When he was finished he filled his canteen. Now that he had refreshed himself, and restored his senses, he was sure that he was being watched. Perhaps it was the guardian of the pyramid. He didn't know, if it was he wouldn't have a problem, it was probably a ghost anyway. He gripped his masamune tightly and called out, "Who's there! Show yourself!

As Kaitsu demanded his "stalker" to show himself, Tatsim did as he had commanded. Tatsim appearing out of the shadows, kept his distance from Kaitsu but in a comfortable matter, almost reckless. Tatsim, calm, and even seeming bored, slowly approached Kaitsu, and spoke "You finally noticed me, after all this time. What a pity, just before I was about to kill you. Now I'm going to have to do some work for your head." Kaitsu alarmed, said "Who are you? Why do you want me dead? Like you can even accomplish that." "It's not that I want to kill you, it's just my job. Tell you what....if you seem worthy enough to fight me, and even unlikely beat me, I'll let you live." Tatsim explains. Kaitsu clenches his main weapon the "Masamune" tight, and softy says
" It's a deal then......".Tatsim, smirks, and takes out his most trusted and powerful weapon his "Double edged Katana" from it's sheath and charges at his adversary..........." Let's see just how strong you can be!"

Tatsim rushed towards Kaitsu with amazing speed. He was so fast that Kaitsu barely had time to raise his masamune in defence. Tatsim made a horizontal slash, parallel to Kaitsu's neck, but Kaitsu managed to block the attack with his masamune. The sound of the clashing blades rang through the empty hall with amazing volume.
"Heh, you're pretty fast!" said Kaitsu as he strained in the effort of holding back Tatsim's attack. Tatsim said nothing, he merely stared defiantely into Kaitsu's eyes with a cold anger that sent chills down the boy's spine.
Kaitsu pushed forward, knocking Tatsim back a couple of feet. Kaitsu jumped back. "I usually don't fight people without knowing their name."
"It's Tatsim. If you must know, not that you'll live long enough to remember it."
Kaitsu chuckled and ran his fingers through his light blue hair. "I doubt that." Kaitsu jumped into the air, "Hey guys! Give me a hand will ya?" The blade of Kaitsu's sword began to glow blue. He made a downward slash, Tatsim quickly jumped out of the way. But as Kaitsu's blade collided with the floor, the masamune let out a burst of energy. This burst caught Tatsim off guard, sending him sailing into a nearby pillar. Kaitsu raised his masamune from the nine foot long chasm he had left in the floor and readied himself.

Tatsim not knowing the boy's true power, but brave as usual, he teleports behind Kaitsu, then side-kicks him forward. Then immidiatley Tatsim teleports in front of the boy and hits him in the stomach with a powerful punch. Kaistu spits blood out of his mouth, falling down to the ground, spreading. But before the blood spills, Tatsim, teleports at the speed of sound, in the air, above his opponent. Holding the sword in a downward stabbing position, Tatsim's blade slices part of Kaitsu's shoulder, wounding him, only making more of a mess of blood on the ground. Kaitsu is wounded, but still alive, and is determined. Kaitsu quickly turns around, and horizontally swings his sword, in the blink of an eye, slicing Tatsim in the waist, leaving a long bloody mark, soon to become a scar. Kaitsu then does a spinning low kick to Tatsims legs, tripping the injured Assassin. Then while Tatsim falls to the ground, Kaitsu stabs Tatsim on the chest in a downward stabbing position. Luckily for Tatsim, the blade missed his heart by just inches, but the sword went through and out of his back. Tatsim badly injured and stuck to the ground by the Masamune, he teleports next to Kaitsu and his blade, not only escaping the clucth of the masamune, but leaving it stuck in the ground floor as well. Tatsim then grasps the hands of Kaitsu, which are tightly holding on to the sword handle, and with incredible strength, Tatsim pulls up the Masamune out of the ground. As the handle of the Masamune hit's Kaitsu in the face, pulling his body up, Tatsim horizontally swings his right fist. The fist hits Kaitsu in the face, sending him to one of the pyramid's pillars, his head colliding with the pillar, leaving long cracks on the wall. Tatsim stands still calmy, keeping his distance away from Kaitsu. As Tatsim puts his hand on his chest, covering the wound, he speaks "You little rat. Your the first one to ever damage me like this. You suprise me, your much stronger than you seem. I'm impressed, yet, you still do not seem worthy enough. I know you can do more than that, I read your profile, and they say you were unbeatable. Surely your master must have taught you something, show me!" Kaitsu turns around, facing his opponent. Blood runs down his headband, spreading, running down his face, like a river. But Kaitsu still stands..........

"Heh," Kaitsu wiped the blood from his face with his coat sleeve, "you seem to have done your homework. Too bad you've never actually met me before. Don't believe everything you read." Kaitsu dashed at Tatsim, holding his masamune in one hand, the other behind his back. He thrust the masamune at Tatsim, who easily dodged, embedding the masamune in the wall.
"You need some new tricks boy."
"Maybe I do!" yelled Kaitsu. As Tatsim dodged his attack, Kaitsu pulled his wakizashi from its sheath behind his back, making a horizontal slice at Tatsim. Tatsim, being caught off guard, wasn't able to dodge the attack in time and Kaitsu made a long bloody slash across Tatsim's chest. Blood flowed out of the wound without any sign of ceasing, Tatsim fell to the ground. Kaitsu rushed back over to the masamune and, with a burst of strength, pulled it from the wall.
"Well, this has been fun." mocked Kaitsu. "I think I'll introduce you to some friends of mine before we continue though." Kaitsu snapped his fingers. A blue aura surrounded Kaitsu, it pulsed and glowed, and with each passing second it spread. Suddenly the aura began to separate and take on visible forms. "Say hello to the owners of this pyramid!" The separate groups of aura materialized into people. They were dressed in ancient egyptian clothes, many were men. They held scimitars, scythes and the like. They looked angry too.
"Okay, I'm gonna give you a choice. We can either continue this fight and I'll let you get to know these guys better. Or, you can stop.... what's your choice? Your job or your life?"

Tatsim slowly rises and starts studing the area around him, looking for anything that might be of use to him. Then Kaitsu slowly backs away from Tatsim near the fountain. There are four ghosts in the whole room, one next to his right, and one on the left, they both have scimitars. Then the other two ghosts are seperate from each other, one next to the founain, and the other behind the boy. The fountain has a pillar in the middle, and…perfect. He's not as stupid as I thought he was, but he's not so smart either….. Tatsim thought. Tatsim's eyes are then fixed on Kaitsu, then speaks "Well, that's a stupid question. Only a fool would even dare to ask that!" Then without hesitation Kaitsu snaps his fingers and says "So be it.". Then the ghosts next to Tatsim thrust at him, but before they get a chance to hit him, Tatsim back flips, and horizontally swings his katana to both of the ghosts. But his katana doesn't affect the ghosts at all. Then one of the ghosts vertically swings his scimitar at Tatsim, but ends up stuck on the ground floor instead, right after Tatsim effortlessly moves to the side. Half a second later the other ghost aims for Tatsim's head and then horizontally swings the scimitar missing Tatsim's head by inches, as he ducks, and then somersaults over the scimitar that was embedded into the ground. Tatsim then teleports in front of Kaitsu, and kicks the Masamune out of his hand, and grabs Kaistu by the neck. As Tatsim starts choking Kaitsu, all the ghosts start approaching the assassin in an instant. But Tatsims purpose is not to choke Kaitsu to death, but to absorb his powers, and use them for himself. The ghosts all swing their scimitars at Tatsim but their weapons halt to a stop, centimeters away from his head, at the same moment Tatsim snaps his fingers. Then in the blink of an eye, the ghosts vanish into thin air, leaving the two fighters alone in the room. Tatsim smirks then speaks " I think I'll choose my job. How about you, boy?" Tatsim then lets go of Kaitsu,walks backwards, and bends down to pick up the Masamune. "Here you go, let it be of use for once!" Tatsim claims. Tatsim then throws the sword, and Kaitsu catches it. Tatsim keeps his guard up, not knowing what Kaitsu will do next, continue, or withdraw........

Kaitsu rubbed his neck, where Tatsim had been holding him. "What did you do to my ghosts? Why didn't they attack you?"
"Because I absorbed your powers, and stopped them." said the assassin. Kaitsu smirked and thrust his masamune into the ground. Tatsim looked at him, confused.
"I hate to admit it, but you're too fast for me to use my long sword. I can't get enough speed." Kaitsu gripped his wakizashi. He dashed towards Tatsim with unbelievable speed. He switched his wakizashi to a reverse hold and swung at Tatsim. Tatsim blocked the attack and pushed back. Kaitsu spun around on the rebound and stabbed Tatsim in the side; Tatsim slashed at Kaitsu with his double-edged katana. Kaitsu tried to dodge but his wakizashi stuck more than expected and he wasn't able to get away into time to save himself from recieving a long gash across his arm. He jumped back and flung his arm out, spattering blood across the floor and walls. Tatsim immediately attacked Kaitsu with a downward slash. Kaitsu lifted his left arm, and as Tatsim's blade made contact with Kaitsu's arm it bounced off with a flash of spirit energy. Tatsim faltered, giving Kaitsu enough time to attack. He thrust forward with his wakizashi, but Tatsim teleported behind him and kicked him in the butt. Kaitsu tripped and had to do a roll to regain his footing, he stood up and assumed battle stance.
What is up with this guy? No matter what I throw at him, he always bounces right back. What do I do now...?

Tatsim swiftly threw his katana at Kaitsu. Unaware of Tatsim's plan, Kaitsu strifes to the side, as the blade hits the wall, leaving the katana handle out of place. Tatsim then teleports in front of Kaitsu and starts to continuesly punch Kaitsu in the stomach, so fast, that it cannot be seen by the naked eye. Blood is spits out of Kaitsu's mouth, as the violent punches continue on and on. Kaitsu's vision starts to get blurry, and is being prevented from breathing. Tatsim, then finishes off the attack, by leaping in the air, and side kicking Kaitsu, in the face. Kaitsu is not only pushed away, from Tatsim but his back is also hit by the katana handle that was purposley embeded on the wall. Losing his sight and starting to fall, Kaitsu fights to keep his balance, trying to prepare for the next attack. Tatsim then charges at Kaitsu at an incredible speed , giving Kaitsu short time to react. As Tatsim leaps in the air and trys to finish of Kaitsu with a spin kick, Kaitsu's vision starts to return, and then he somersaults to side, dodging the rapid attack. Tatsim then quickly gets his katana from the wall, and he turns to slash his sword at his opponent behind him. But at the same moment, Kaitsu picks up his Wakasashi and swiftly blocks the katana, halting both of their fierce attacks. As the sparks of the both of the blades sperate into the air, and the sound of the two weapons clashing echoes across the vast, ancient room." You are full of many suprises, boy. You seem weak and small, yet, you are strong and agile in the skill of the sword. I have to give credit to you...you really tired me out, not to mention...wound me." Tatsim says. Kaistu replies "and..... I to you.....Your skilled as well. Thank you, but, this doesn't change the fact that I'm very, very, pissed off by you."
Tatsim backs away, putting his katana back in it's sheath. Then he replies " You are worthy of a fight, and you fight with honor, yet you still annoy me. I will let you go. I hope we will meet again, next time, when I won't have a reason to kill you." Tatsim then walks toward the entrance of the Pyramid." Oh, and you'll need this..." Tatsim remarks, before he throws softly at Kaitsu what seems to be a large pouch full of food, and medical supplies. Then, before Tatsim leaves the Pyramid, out into the dry desert, he says "It's the least I could do... for kicking you in the butt."
