The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
The tavern was full yet again, friends and family members that haven't seen each other in years catching up and drinking till the couldn't anymore, the fighting goes on like no other tavern in this city, it starts then gets broken up by the city's guards, but it'll eventually start back up again, but in the midst of all this excitement was a single figure draped in a long black cloak that just touched the ground, it was Krindulmar, he was a regular at this tavern he paid for his meals and his drinks also helping out with others when they couldn't pay for there drinks fully, but he never spoke to anyone, no-one even know what he did he didn't even join in the brawls that start up, the peace in the tavern was fine until a broken bottle sound comes from mon of the booths followed by very angry yelling.
"YOU KNOCKED MY DRINK OVER... BUY ME A NEW ONE... *hic" said a largish man "No" said a calm littler man "You shall buy me a new drink" the large man said in a very very angry tone" "never" said the other, at the second he finished his word the larger mans fist came flying into the little man chin sending him over three tables "Ooow" said the little man getting back up very slowly "you shouldn't of done that" then the little man jumped over the table and pulled out a dagger hidden beneath his clothes, the larger man was startled and did the only thing he knew how he swung at the little man knocking him over to where Krindulmar was sitting at, but at the most inconvenient time the tavern owners daughter walked into the room, the little man saw hisopportunity to be able to get out of this place before the city's guards came in, he grabbed the little girl by the back of her neck and put his dagger right next to his head then said, "You will all let me out of this bar, or I'll slice this little girls throat form ear to ear" the room was silent, then a new voice emerged, one that no one has ever heard of before. "You will not kill that girl, or escape" said the voice, the man looked around confused until he saw a figure standing up form the corner of his eye, he saw a man only a few feet taller then himself, it was Krindulmar. "hmph, do you think that you can get to me before i kill this little girl" "yeah i do" said Krindulmar, sprinting over to the man in a flash of a eye, he grips the mans arm and breaks it,making him let go over the girl "go to your farther little one" the girl did as she was told, "know its time for you to pay" Krindulmar lifted the man above his head and threw him in a wall knocking him unconscious "there now that he is finished, we can all get back to drinking" Krindulmar turned around and started to walk back to hi seat when the man got back up and started to charge Krindulmar with his dagger raised ready to stab him in the back, as soon the man was in striking distance a reddish black tail shoots out from beneath Krindulmars cloak and wraps around the mans neck, the man was gagging and couldn't even gargle a world, until a faint crunching sound was heard, then the tail lets go of the man and slides back into his cloak, Krindulmar goes back into his seat and starts to drink again, Hours passed, the body was found and the barmen gave the guards the story of what happened just leaving out Krindulmar, knowing full well what they do to creatures that are not of this world, the body was removed and the broken tables where thrown out, then tavern returned to normal, just after the guards left the door opened again, Krindulmar turned around to see who it was, the man has very tall and muscular, his face showed no concern for anything, but then it hit Krindulmar like a rock, he looked right at his eyes seeing that he has never been happy in his life until he found revenge on someone, he noticed the two meter long swords he carried with him, but it looked as if those swords where rarely used, but Krindulmar lost interest in the man and went back to drinking. OoC: ok, your turn mel do what you wants

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
OoC: Finally, let's get this going.
![]() BiC: Mordecai sat solemnly in the corner of the bar. He was alone and no one dared approach the large man, not even the waitresses. The tables were empty within his radius, but he cared not for this. His consciousness was focused inside on his memories and not to the happenings of the external world. He was pondering the recent happenings of his life, unsure of their true meaning. Did he have an ally? No conclusions were made that day, yet he did realise that his desire to revenge the past was somewhat minimising. Finally he came out of himself and glanced around the room. He found nothing interesting; that is until he spotted Krindulmar. Mordecai's face winced in what looked like disgust. He reached his hand down under the table and grabbed the back of his leg. He kept it there for a while with a tolerating look on his face. When his hand returned to above the table, dry blood had been smeared across it. He reached his hand back under the table and wiped the blood off, onto the table's underside, then resumed his scanning of the bar. It was nearing midday outside and the business of the bar begun to pick up. Mordecai was still intrigued by the mysterious man in the dark cloak, who likewise to him, sat alone in the adjacent corner of the bar. Even with the midday rush, none dared to sit near Mordecai. It was now that Mordecai realised that nobody was sitting near the mysterious cloaked figure. He smiled, having somewhat of an understanding of Krindulmar. Time passed. The midday rush died down. The people in the bar changed. It was only Mordecai and Krindulmar who stayed. The tavern was one of a reputation. A known reputation of brawls and brawlers. The bar was not to disappoint on this day. Already fights had occurred and more were imminent. A middle aged man begun to yell unintelligibly at a younger man. Mordecai raised his glance to watch the two, but they took this as a sign of utter disrespect. "What are you looking at? You think this is some kind of show to amuse you big man? This is my life." Bellowed the older man. Silence followed as Mordecai stared him down. "Answer me." The silence continued. The older man had forgotten of his first feud and now walked towards Mordecai. He was the first to breach the deserted radius. He pulled out a small dagger. "C'mon. Answer me, before you and this dagger make sweet love." The man raised his voice again. Mordecai was not going to tolerate this. He never would. Mordecai sprung to his feet, flinging the solid wooden table to the side in one motion. Now only air was between Mordecai and the man, who by now was regretting his actions. Upon hearing this commotion Krindulmar looked up for the first time since Mordecai had entered. OoC: Over to you. |

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
OoC: dude nice
BiC: As Krindulmar looked at the fight he was intrigued as how Mordecai was going to get himself out of this fight, it was going to be an interesting fight The older man was yelling his head off at Mordecai but as it seemed the newcomer payed no attention, "So what are you going to do, you going to apologize to me or what" but silence came from Mordecai, and this time the older man was enraged by the fact that he was being ignored "So that's they way your going to play it hmm? fine then say hello to my blade" the older man lunged at Mordecai, but the man was to slow Mordecai side stepped the lunged and elbowed the man into the ground before kicking him to make him slide over to near Krindulmar The man sprung himself up more enraged then before, and this time he unsheathes his sword but before the man could move Krindulmar had him in a lock making him drop his sword "this has gone on to long i wish for peace and we need to end this now before the guards come and break it up themselves" Krindulmar lifts the man up off the ground and slams him into the ground and before most people have noticed Krindulmar was sitting back down ordering a new drink and to Mordecai's surprise a waitress was bringing him a drink. OoC: your turn

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
The waitress approached Mordecai, holding the glass out in front of her. She was slightly hesitant yet managed to complete the task. She handed the glass to Mordecai who reached out and took it with his large hand. A small smile escaped, creasing up the side of his mouth. The waitress took a few steps back, again hesitantly, but was soon pleased to see Mordecai taking a sip. The waitress turned around and returned to behind the tavern counter.
Mordecai's table remained topside down on the floor. Using just one of his hands, muscular Mordecai lifted the solid wooden table and placed it back in its position. He pulled up the closest chair and was just about the sit down when, once again, Krindulmar became the focus of his attention. Mordecai stared in wonder at the hooded figure who was simply looking down and sipping his drink. Mordecai wanted to know more. With his drink in hand, Mordecai walked slowly towards Krindulmar's table, stepping over the body on the floor. Krindulmar didn't look up. He made it to the table and after a brief pause he pulled out the seat opposite Krindulmar and sat down. The robed figure remained looking downwards at his glass, like he had some other sense that knew of Mordecai's close proximity. Mordecai begun to drink his drink, unsure of what it was exactly. The glass was quickly empty because of his size. He placed his glass down on the table, realising that he and Krindulmar had become the main focus of the bar. Everyone watched to see what would happen. Mordecai was the first to approach Krindulmar apart from the waitresses. The moment seemed to drag on. Everyone focused on Mordecai. Mordecai stared questioningly at Krindulmar. Krindulmar remained looking downwards, at his now empty glass. The moment was soon interrupted. The tavern door flung open and there were two guards, doing their regular checks of the brawlers bar. Immediately they saw the limp body sprawled on the floor and the dominant guard didn't hesitate to become verbal. "Who did this?" was the feared sentence that left his mouth. Silence typically followed as people become fearful. "Who did this?" he repeated in a louder and more severe tone. He begun to pace around the room, soon coming upon the body on the floor. Krindulmar was the closest to the body and the guard didn't hesitate to interrogate the mysterious man. "You did this?" Krindulmar remained unmoved. "I said, you did this?" Enraged by being ignored, the guard pulled out his baton, ready for action. |

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
The guard said once again with more anger in his voice this time "I said did you do this, you have been a problem for a while now we just couldn't find anything to do with you" the guard raised his baton just about to strike but the guard was quickly raised into the air by his leg...
Mordecai was shocked by this sudden uplifting but he quickly realized how the guard was lifter up he saw a red tail wrapped his leg " P..p..please put me down" whimpered the guard "fine" said Krindulmar still looking down at his glass the tail lowered the guard onto his back and the tail slides back along the ground to were Krindulmar was sitting "you'd better take the body and leave me alone i haven't bothered anyone i don't start fights i only finish them" the guard quickly listened to Krindulmar and picked up the body with his friend and walked off Krindulmar ordered another drink for him and Mordecai, Mordecai was wondering why this man was being so kind to someone he has never met before but before anything Krindulmar answered his thought "if your wondering why i am being so kind it is because you remind me of myself when i was a littler bit older then you are yourself we have both had a a hard lifestyle with no people to care about" Krindulmar's gaze wondered off into the distance with his dark eyes remembering times from years past before he returned to his drink

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
Mordecai copied Krindulmar and begun nursing his drink. A slight smile still escaped the side of his mouth. He pondered Krindulmar. Silence and peace continued in the bar as the two sat at the table together. Mordecai's thoughts trailed off and he returned to thinking of his past. Both the night before and nights before. The look in his eyes looked distant. Krindulmar remained focused on his drink.
Once again, it was not long before another fight broke out at this bar for brawlers. It caused quite a lot of commotion and grabbed the attention of those in the bar. Both Krindulmar and Mordecai were roused back to reality and focused on this skirmish. The verbal abuse of this fight was scarce. This fights only communication was harsh punches and kicks. It seemed to be a even match. The two moved around the room as they kicked, punched and blocked each others advancements. Occasionally a punch would connect and a moan would follow. Unknowingly the two brawlers were making their way towards the table of Krindulmar and Mordecai, but they were too immersed in fighting to care. They neared the table. Reaching only a metre away from it, the larger man in the fight suddenly collapsed to the floor and hit his head, becoming unconscious. Mordecai saw the devilish tail swiftly return to be enclosed in Krindulmar's robe. Mordecai had not seen who started this fight and wondered why Krindulmar had chosen that person to attack. He must have caused the brawl. Krindulmar looked up a Mordecai, once again sensing his thoughts, but Krindulmar was interrupted before he could speak. The person who was brawling the now unconscious man had been crouching down on the floor whispering taunts into the unhearing ear of his downcast opponent, but now he raised to full stature. He was not hesitant to approach the table with the two mysterious strangers. "What the hell is with you two?" he questioned loudly as his palms came to rest on the edge of the table. He seemed determined for answers. He would wait until he got the answers he wanted or was killed. He just didn't know which one would come first. Mordecai and Krindulmar were now glancing at each other, intrigued to have been grouped collectively in the man's question. Krindulmar let out a baritone laugh as he sat back in his chair and averted his gaze to that of the questioning man. The man removed his hands from the table and took a step back. Krindulmar laughed again slightly. He drew his hands to be at his side and seemed to position himself so that he was comfortable. He opened his mouth and begun to speak... |

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
Krindulmar sighed before he spoke "I just wanted to end this before it got out of hand and i really liked my drink and with you two not knowing where you were heading i looked like you were about to knock my drinks over and now we couldn't have that now can we"
The man looked very enraged "YOU WERE CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR DRINKS!!" the man screamed "I SHOW YOU KNOCKED OVER DRINKS!" the man raises his arms and swung them at the drinks knocking them over near a wall smashing them making the waitress scream "that wasn't very nice, now go apologize to the beautiful waitress and clean up the mess" said Krindulmar The man just looked at Krindulmar ans simply said "Never" Krindulmar looks up at the man with blood raged eyes "that wasn't a smart idea" Krindulmar was quickly out of his seat and slams the man in the chest with his fist making him go few feet but no further, then the man was turned upside "say your sorry" said Krindulmar but the man replied by saying "never" yet again "Bad move" Krindulmar lifts the man ever higher into the air while turned around and picking up this giant great axe "I really didn't want to do this but you made me" Krindulmar turns around with a angry look on his face then slams the man into the ground then lifts up his axe and slams it right next to his head making the man faint " ahh well" sighs Krindulmar, he then walks over to the waitress and pulls out a two bags of coins he throw one onto the counter for the owner of the tavern and gives the other to the waitress and walks off He then returns to Mordecai and says "we need to go now" Krindulmar quickly walks off without waiting for Mordecai.

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
Krindulmar was quick to depart from the bar, while Mordecai remained seated at the table, again pondering exactly what was going on. He had came to this bar for a rest, yet this desire went unfulfilled. He raised his glass and sculled the last fourth of his drink, before slamming it on the table and rushing out of the now quiet tavern, as the afternoon rush had passed.
He burst outside and looked around. Krindulmar couldn't be seen anywhere amongst the busy shopping crowds in the main street. Mordecai frantically searched but to no avail. According to Mordecai's perception Krindulmar was gone, but perception isn't truth. Suddenly Mordecai felt a chilling wind blow up the back of his garment, forcing him to suddenly turn in a battle stance. A large man doing this in the middle of the main street excited many of the passers by, as they stopped and gazed at him. Mordecai took no notice, as he had seen it. An alleyway that wasn't unfamiliar to him. It beckoned to him to enter in a mysterious way. Mordecai started jogging down the alleyway. He was on edge, prepared to fight. The alley was long and Mordecai stopped running once he was far from the main street. He stopped to catch his breath as heaving yourself along at that pace, when you're so large, is not an easy task. He leaned against one wall of the alley and slid down into a sitting position. What was with this Krindulmar? Where had he gone? Questions bombarded Mordecai's head. He was slumped over. Confused and in anguish. Time passed. He had caught his breath and finally looked up. Krindulmar was standing across the alleyway. Mordecai quickly sprung to his feet prepared for what may happen, with a questioning glare in his eyes. How long had Krindulmar been there? Krindulmar did nothing but let a laugh escape his mouth, causing a smirk. |

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
OoC: i guess we need to start our actual fight now
BiC: Mordecai and Krindulmar stayed there awhile with smirks and there faces caring for nothing else while the afternoon rush went by outside the alley, after awhile Krindulmar lost his smirk, and it became a more serious one, a few minutes went by as Krindulmar studied his friend when Krindulmar was finished he struck out at Mordecai knocking him back into the wall. Mordecai was stunned by the sudden hit but he quickly gathered his wits and kicked out at Krindulmar chest now knocking him over then unsheathed both swords "put those away" said Krindulmar "this is how we are going to play today, we shall use no armour or weapons and just "test" each others ability with hand to hand combat" Krindulmar said After those last words were said Krindulmar took off his Axe and crossbow and placed them down and took off his robe revealing a war torn body with wings with a spike tips and that tail of his now freely able to move around, "now you drop your swords and we shall get this started" Krindulmar said with a smirk

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
Mordecai was deeply troubled by the ways of the world. Nothing but fights lurked for him, ones where he couldn't comprehend what the meaning was or why they were even occurring. Regardless of knowledge, Mordecai would never back down from a fight, especially in this case. He had been challenged with a direct blow. At the request of Krindulmar he threw his blades to the ground, feeling a burst of confidence. It was hand to hand combat the demon wanted and Mordecai was sure that his stature, strength and training in martial arts would act to his advantage.
Mordecai didn't wait for any cues. He was poised in battle stance and delivered two rather thorough punches to Krindulmar's face, which seemed to catch the winged spawn by surprise. Krindulmar recoiled slightly before regaining his posture. Mordecai was now beginning to sense his opponent. He wondered if he had the strength and skill to defeat this creature beyond conception. Was it actually possible? Mordecai lunged again, showing pin point accuracy with his round house kick. The foot of the large man plunged itself into Krindulmar's sternum, flinging him viciously into the wall. Mordecai was proud of this, standing up straight with a smirk. Krindulmar winced slightly, with an acknowledging look on his face, but he didn't speak. Quickly the war torn Krindulmar regained his stance as if nothing had happened. The two were now thoroughly aware and prepared. Once again Mordecai lunged forward attempting some kicks to knock Krindulmar off his vertical base, however this time it was Krindulmar to deal the blow. As Mordecai lunged, Krindulmar remained still. That is until his tail came viciously towards Mordecai, crunching into his cheek and nose. Mordecai stumbled back against the wall almost loosing his stance. His nose stinged, waterising even the eyes of this giant. He bought his hand up to touch his nose, feeling the cold fluid of blood. It reminded him of his father. Mordecai had at first seemed to like Krindulmar, but this had changed. Mordecai was furious at the beast. |

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
As Krindulmar watched his opponent carefully, he thought to himself, why, why did i decide to fight? the monks told me to hunt evil but... he let the thought trail off and leave his mind unanswered, before another thought entered his mind Mordecai was coming off the wall with a his foot and before Krindulmar could think of a reaction Mordecai's foot got him in the lower jaw and knocked him over
As Krindulmar lay on the ground he saw Mordecai coming back at him yet again but this time Krindulmar was ready, he waited till Mordecai was close enough and he lashed his tail out at his foot and lifting him into the air, "I shall say that you are well trained my friend but lets see what you can do when i get full fighting cover" at that moment Krindulmar suddenly lifted off the ground with Mordecai dragging along the walls until Krindulmar reached over the rooftops "Don't you love the sights of the rooftops?" Krindulmar asked willfully, but as he knew the question would remain unanswered, Krindulmar flicked his tail up and let go at Mordecai so he was coming closer to Krindulmar at the right time Krindulmar flipped forwards and drove his heel into Mordecai's stomach and flung him into the roof below Mordecai was stunned by the power of the sudden blow, as Mordecai lifted his head he saw Krindulmar staring at him with a look of sorrow on his face before Mordecai could jump up Krindulmar simple said "why, why does this world have the urge to fight everything and everyone including themselves?"

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
If reason and logic were ever a make up of the fighting drive in Mordecai, they were now long extinct. Mordecai considered speech insignificant and cared little for the verbalisation of Krindulmar. Mordecai only understood actions and that didn't register Krindulmar high in his conscience. Mordecai's eyes were now locked into Krindulmars, with a fierce look of determination.
Mordecai rose to his feet slowly, rising up to his full stature to tower over Krindulmar. He brushed the dirt off his garment in a disrespectful way. Steadily, Mordecai approached the demon spawn, his gaze unaltered. Krindulmar smirked, but stood his ground, even returning Mordecai's gaze. The large man was focused and daunting. Krindulmar wasn't comfortable, feeling the more time he spent standing there not acting, the worse the wrath of Mordecai would be. Krindulmar decided he had to act. Quickly he swung his tail, directed like an uppercut to the chin of the monstrous man. It was a powerful thrust and yet, it was not enough. Mordecai caught the tail between his lumberjack-like hands. Krindulmar was confident that his powerful tail could fling Mordecai around and thus, he attempted to jolt his tail and send Mordecai flying, but to no avail. Mordecai's grip was too strong. Krindulmar was in trouble. The display of strength was continued by Mordecai as he used the demon tail to toss Krindulmar savagely down onto the rusted tin roof. Krindulmar landed with impact and convulsed, as if he was winded. Mordecai stared at the grounded opponent, as he wiped the blood again flowing from his nose on the back of his hand. Krindulmar stared up at Mordecai in amazement. He has underestimated the human. |

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
As Mordecai was focused upon his grounder opponent he did not notice the thing behind him filled with rage and heat, as Mordecai looked at Krindulmar with an unlocked gaze he saw a small smirk escape Krindulmars mouth, he then noticed that he was in the wrong he looked at his feet thinking it was his tail but no, two fiery fists slammed him into the roof
Krindulmar stood up and smirked at his opponent, but the other figure a little smaller the himself but a lot more barreled chested and filled with flame lifted Mordecai up and threw him into the roof yet again, "you like?, he is my, shall we say, familiar" Mordecai was stunned by this second fighter, this HGolem of fire, Mordecai did not waste a moment he shot himself off the roof and ducked a blow by the golem and charged Krindulmar hoping to knock him off the roof but he was mistaken, as Mordecai hit Krindulmar he opened his wings and stopped Mordecai in his tracks and Krindulmar kneed him right in the chest several times before tossing him to the Golem Mordecai was still recovering from the blows when the Fire Golem lifted him off the ground and started to pummel Mordecai, just as a final hit from the Golem was coming Mordecai put both feet onto the Golems chest and kicked off making the Fire Golem stumble backwards and become even more enraged, Mordecai knew that this will be a struggling fight

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
Mordecai was filled with a deep rage that was welling up inside, ready to explode. He had never felt so enraged. Maybe once before was comparable. Mordecai knew what had to be done, but the golem was going to be a hinderence. Whilst Mordecai was lost in his thoughts, Krindulmar approached him and delivered a barrage of severe punches, dismantling Mordecai's features and triggering a larger blood flow from his nose.
Mordecai took the punches like a soft breeze in the evening, which insulted Krindulmar. The golem approached from behind, but not unnoticed. Mordecai could sense its heat. Quickly Mordecai thrust his body at Krindulmar, collapsing the demon to the ground. In a turning motion Mordecai delivered and powerful uppercut to the golem, a superhuman one, knocking the golem motionless on the ground. Whether he was just out temporarily or permanent Mordecai didn't care. He had created the opportunity he needed. Krindulmar was squatting on the roof, regathering himself from being tossed to the ground. He saw Mordecai look at him before running and climbing down off the roof. Krindulmar didn't pursue, sensing some sort of plan. However Mordecai wasn't quick to return. Krindulmar walked around the rooftop searching the ground for the large man. Mordecai was back and undetected by Krindulmar. The giant held a sword in each of his hands, measuring exactly one metre long. He had returned to where they abandoned their weapons, gathering his own and disposing of Krindulmar's axe. The demon raised his head and turned around to see Mordecai wielding the mighty blades. He knew he was in trouble. He was weaponless against Mordecai. Any rules or statures had vanished from this battle. It was no longer hand to hand. It was dirty. Krindulmar needed to think of something. Quickly. Mordecai advanced on Krindulmar. During this time the golem had regathered itself and was coming for Mordecai. The sword wielding man left Krindulmar and approached the golem, who swung its tale at Mordecai's face. Mordecai raised his blades and the tail was sliced on it. Seeing no time to muck around, Mordecai drove the sword in his left hand through the chest of the golem and used his right hand sword to lop the golem's head off. The golem collapsed to the ground, well and truly vanquished from this battle. Krindulmar had to acknowledge the power of Mordecai in dropping the look alike. Krindulmar also needed to act quickly, as the furious swordsman was now coming for him. |

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
Krindulmar exploded in a ball of fire for several minutes with Mordecai watching no knowing what the demon was up to, when the flames died down Mordecai looked to see if you could spot him but no luck, Mordecai looked around him and above but nothing, after a few minutes Mordecais rage started to subside but when he was about to leave Krindulmar flew down from the sky with his weapons and with a demonic tone Krindulmar yelled "You took my weapons, now you shall feel there pain*
Krindulmar flew down at Mordecai raising his axe above his head until he was right where he wanted to and swung it down with Mordecai barely blocking the blow but be knocked to the ground by the force form that hit, Mordecai sprang up ready to swing his swords but before he could move and arm Krindulmar was upon him and grabbing his head, "Can you feel it? can you feel your skull crushing between my hand, you may be strong for a human but I am a demon and i am much stronger then you" Krindulmar was about to throw Mordecai off the building but before he could Mordecai brought both feet up to his chest and kicked hard against Krindulmar knocking him into the ground and Mordecai falling heavily on the roofing Krindulmar sprung up faster then Mordecai could and launched himself into the air and started to spin with his axe facing on a angle until he burst into flames and charged Mordecai, Krindulmar just scrapping Mordecais body and slightly burning him and his clothes, Krindulmar wrapped his tail around Mordecais neck when he passed by and slammed him into the ground then took back off into the air Krindulmar turned to Mordecai and shot several bolts at Mordecai with one hitting him in the upper thigh, Mordecai winced in pain as he looked up at his attacker and saw him come around in a fire spin once more, Mordecai knew he needed to act fast before it was all over.

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
Mordecai also knew that not acting would be just as much of a release. He was sick of this. He had fled to avoid fighting, yet that was the very thing he had fled to. Was it all that Mordecai was meant for? Mordecai returned to his full stature, ignoring the pain piercing his thigh. He had made his decision. If destiny existed, his was now. As Krindulmar charged, Mordecai casually stepped to the side avoiding the demon, who turned to charge once more.
This time Mordecai ran towards him and met him with strong thrusts of the swords. Krindulmar skillfully wielded his ax to block all of Mordecai's blows, but the man continued. The weaponed combat continued strong, as Mordecai attacked and Krindulmar defended. Mordecai was persistant, and Krindulmar wasn't going to play defensive forever. The demon side-stepped and swung his ax wildly at Mordecai's head. The man squatted to avoid the blow and rose directly upwards with all his strength, driving the sword in his right hand powerfully at Krindulmar. The demon saw this attempt and begin to return his ax for another shot. He was too late; Mordecai's sword plowed directly into his left bicep, piercing it straight through and remaining there. Krindulmar dropped his ax, which managed to cut up against Mordecai's leg, forcing the man to collapse. Krindulmar remained upright with the sword painfully in his arm. Mordecai was sitting on his buttocks examining the slice on his leg, which leaked much blood. "Destiny" Mordecai snorted as he spat bloody mucus to the ground. The break of verbal silence grabbed Krindulmar's gaze. Mordecai tossed the sword he still held to the ground. He was done fighting. He sat. Waiting. Waiting to see what the demon would do to an opponent who didn't fight back. Maybe this would finally bring about the reasoning and motives of Krindulmar. |

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
Krindulmar was still stunned at his opponents word, hearing this word Krindulmar remember something back long ago to a time when he was care free with animals are miles to play in alone, and a familiar voice calming his nerves when he was upset
"Krin, Krin where are you?" said a elderly woman "i am here ma, im playing with the animals" said the smiling red face "Ooo, Krin you so thoughtful and caring, one day you shall be the most caring and protective being in this world, this shall be your destiny" the elderly woman said with a smiling calming face Suddenly it hit Krindulmar, he had lost his main reason he fought, he fought to protect the weak and make this old woman's promise come true, Krindulmar looked at Mordecai who was still caring his wound and he calmly offered his hand to Mordecai and with a sorrow look on his face apologizing to Mordecai

Re: The Brawlers (Melchizedek)
Once Mordecai was back on his vertical base, though he wavered in standing because of his leg wound, Krindulmar handed Mordecai his sword, which he had earlier removed from his arm. Mordecai accepted the sword graciously, but still couldn't help but be confused. The winged demon grabbed his ax and turned his back to Mordecai, slowly walking away. His wounds were stinging, and even though he had fought many battles, this battle was indeed a challenge.
Mordecai watched as the demon disappeared into the distance, shrouded by glare from the setting sun. Mordecai didn't understand this new world that was his home. All was about battles, all was about being a brawler, though no reasons were ever presented. It seemed the way of these parts. Now holding the sword dipped in demon blood, Mordecai picked up his other blade, wiping them clean on his dirty garment, leaving blood smears. He was in pain and the only way he knew how to heal was to rest. Mordecai chucked his swords aside and lay down. He could stand the harshness of the roofing and felt he could sleep as no one would come up there. Sleepiness took a hold of him. As he lay there, he pondered. What was with these parts? With Krindulmar, with Bleo? What was with the tavern? Mordecai couldn't answer any of these. All he could conclude was that those in this world were no more than brawlers. Finally he fell asleep. Finally he could rest. From a roof up higher Krindulmar watched over Mordecai. A smile escaped his lips and peace filled him as he looked down upon the sleeping man. Krindulmar turned and took to the sky with strokes against the air from his powerful wings. His destination remained unknown. OoC: Great battle Alcidis. *Handshakes* Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. |
