The Katanaspace Concept

I've been using a concept during battle that might've confused some people. This concept, known as katanaspace, is used for drawing weapons and transporting them.

Each warrior has his/her alternate space in the universe, and, reversely, his/her own space in the parallel dimension as well, This space is called katanaspace. By mentally transmitting one's self to katanaspace, one can place or remove weapons. This takes the place of a sheath, and breaks some equipment barriers.

This originated in Japanese, and is a basic skill for a samurai. Vikings have also inherited tales of this nature. So, if you see me using this, at least you won't be in the dark.

So wait a minute...(although I haven't seen it myself, I'm asking) How does this work? Is this space visible? Do you yourself have to transport to get the weapons?...Man, I've just confused myself. Maybe it'd be easier if you gave me a link to a battle where you used it, then I could see this first hand. Although you never, know, I might still be confused.

Perhaps you're right. No, the space isn't visible, it's more of a mental thing. You kinda summon your weapon, calling it from the parallel dimension, were it is quickly atomized into your hand. All this happens in a matter of seconds. There is no link I can provide you with, as the last battle I used it was before the forum "cleansing".

I understood it perfectly on first read through... I believe I've seen this sort of thing used in other places and it's an interesting concept indeed.

Geez...rub it in why don't you. Heh, j/k Merc, you've got a sense for some things more than I do, understandable. Anyway, thanks for the clarification Mute, that makes a lot more sense to me. Anything using the word summon, and I usually understand, heh.

Heh, you know it. I could pull through school with that word alone. But, anyway, this concept is quite popular on other forums with a Battle Arena, and I was only trying to instigate a revoltution in which it replacces conventional means.

Ah Katanaspace, i've seen refered to elsewhere as malletspace. The ability to pull out a weapon and or any object of relative size and use, from behind your back. Watch cartoons. These people with no pockets or anything, but they still manage to find a space in the back of their trousers to pull out guns, swords and other useful things. If people get confused you could always refer to it as your Magic Pocket.
