Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
Shan watched as the red-haired man, followed by his student, approached Eden and asked for her sword. He snickered at the thought of Zack getting punched in the nose but the woman simply brushed him off. Shan slouched, Why I am the only one who had the snot kicked out of him? Then he watched as she walked through the blown-out window of a store and started digging through packs of Marlboros and Virginia Slims. Wow, right in front of God and everybody. Granted, everybody consists all of three people.
A deafening crash from behind made the Lilim flinch. He turned to see just what was going on in the war zone now. Okay, now they’re flipping cars. Shan scratched his head, pondering what to do next. Things had gotten out of hand really, really fast. So it wasn’t really a surprise when the cops started showing up. Neither was the tear gas, especially since it would hardly affect him. No, it was when bludgeoning bullets started smacking him in the face that he was surprised. “Duck and cover!” he yelped and dropped to the pavement, not moving. One of the officers walked over, thinking him to be unconscious. He certainly didn’t expect the mercenary’s arm to lash out, trip him, and then punch him in the stomach. Before any of the other officers could react, Shan fired a Sunburst from a crouching position. The attack knocked a couple of the humans off of their feet and scattered the rest. “I wasn’t doing anything so you really didn’t need to go that far,” he muttered. Then the Lilim looked down at the cop on the ground who was clutching his stomach. “Um... sorry? You did pick the fight, though.”

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
”I’m no associate, miss,” Aronin replied and smirked at the armor clad girl. “Roller blades, huh? Just makes things much more simple for me then.”
He opened his hand into a palm and showed it to her as a helper, and gave her a telekinetic push backwards, causing her to fly into a wall on the other side of the street. But before she got up again, the police cars arrived on the place, stealing Aronin’s attention. Game’s up, he thought and backed up towards some cars on the other side of the street. The police had arrived on the far side of the battle. Suddenly, tear gas and and bullets covered the battlefield, which Aronin thought to himself he was lucky not to be exactly there then. A few stray bullets almost hit Aronin, but some was redirected, and some just fell down on the car in front of him. Then, with a big crash, a huge mutated rabbit came crashing down, causing Aronin to take cover as even more cars flew around. Things had gone out of hand. Aronin lifted himself up with telekinesis again, and landed carefully on top of a building with sights of the battle area. OoC: I'm not planning to post that much the next weeks, so I'm just moving Aronin away for a bit. |

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
The strange man mimicked her moves exactly, tapping her with his talons on her own forehead. Atropos blinked as he did so, and slowly tilted her head in the other direction. Then the man asked her where she'd got the talons.
"I made them. I can make anything," she said. She held up her Black Matter covered arm, and the black substance began to transform. It melted into a thick black liquid, and wrapped around her arm in the form of a trio of snakes, tongues flicking in and out of their mouths. The snakes then melted and transformed into a bouquet of black flowers, the stems of which were entwining around her hand and fingers. The flowers then transformed again, turning into an entanglement of black chains and razor wire. Finally, the Black Matter turned back into the imitation of the man's strange talon arm, and Atropos put her hand back down. She looked back at the man, and asked him a question. "What is your name, anyway? Who are you?" As Jennifer rammed into the man, she cursed. Not, in fact, because she'd hit someone she wasn't aiming for, but rather because she'd missed the person she was aiming for. Before she had time to even think, though, something sent her vehicle flying, flipping it through the air and capsizing it in the middle of the street. Suddenly the air was filled with tear gas and less-than-lethal plastic bullets as the riot police arrived to control the situation. Jennifer was still upside-down inside her vehicle as the tear gas began to cover the area outside, but her car was still in one piece and didn't let any of the gas inside. She took the keys from the ignition, unbuckled her seat belt, and crawled into the back of her car, where her supply box was. She unlocked it and opened it up, grabbing first of all her gas mask. She pulled it over her face, and then grabbed her weapons. Her laser carbine she strapped over her back, and her plasma armguns she strapped to their place on her legs. She closed up her supply box and locked it, and then unlocked the vehicle. She stepped out into the cloudy street, closing and locking her car. She pulled out her PDA and sent a text message to a certain CORE department, who would quickly arrive and carry away her vehicle before it managed to get damaged any further. She pulled her hood over her head, and equipped her armguns, warming up the green plasma cells within. A few rubber bullets began to bounce off of her armor as the riot squad fired at her through the smoke, and she fired a few green warning shots in their direction. The green beams burned right through the policemen's riot shields, scalding their legs. Tear gas had, of course, no effect on ISAAC, who lacked eyes and the ability to feel pain. It also didn't block his vision much, since his sight was augmented with infrared, sonar, and radar. The rubber bullets didn't do any damage either, simply bouncing off of ISAAC's shiny black chassis (or actually, bouncing off of his protective electric energy field, since they lacked the proper velocity to breach it.) A policeman stepped up behind him with a baton, whacking ISAAC over the head with it. ISAAC turned around and grabbed the man, tossing him all the way across the street, where he crashed against a wall and fell to the sidewalk. Things were getting pretty crazy, ISAAC thought, and that was before the giant rabbit appeared. At that point, things were beyond crazy. |

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
In all the confusion, Lex wasn't in the least surprised that nearly all of the perpetrators did something incredibly stupid within the first few seconds of the riot stopping measures. Where fleeing the scene would have been the smart thing to do, especially since Lex had given specific orders not to pursue any of the assailants, all but one or two of them chose to stand and fight. The fact of the matter was, at least in Lex's opinion that they should have taken the fight somewhere else and simply not cost the city money.
The guy with the pink hair's first mistake was having the pink hair and being rather scrawny compared to some of the other players, and his second mistake was hitting a cop. It was like a giant pink beacon that screamed 'please 12 cops come and surround me and bash my brains in with batons.' As it was, this process was well under way. The giant bunny's problem was turning into a giant bunny. In fact Lex had given orders specifically not to hit the bunny girl with anything but tear gas. Apparently this helpless appearing little girl was possessed of some magic and was rather excitable. She turned into the giant bunny, and she had some kind of shadow magic that Lex had seen only once before. After a line of cars went flying into the streets and a few officers were attacked by their own shadows, Lex realized he already knew exactly what to do. At a radio command, flares were put in a perimeter around Monster, and suddenly nobody around the giant bunny had a shadow. The helicopter with the giant cage had been meant for the dude that looked like he was late for his own wedding, but plans to make sure it would instead fit around a giant bunny were already well under way, as was the helicopter. After the bunny kicked the sheriff halfway across the street, the barricade truck arrived and put a double cement barricade between her and the cops, and the unit was given orders to give the bunny some space. The plastic bullets bounced off of the bunny like it was the hulk or something, but as it charged the barricade a full line of cops fired at once, and the bunny apparently noticed the guns for the first time. As nearly 20 bullets hit it full on in the face, the bunny first backed up and then fell over, and then so did a few of the cops at the resulting tremor. The bunny was slowed and even stopped, but hardly seemed phased. The whole situation of the lady that decided now was the best time to steal stuff from the local shops actually made Lex laugh out loud. He already had a considerable opinion of the idiocy of some people during harrowing situations, and this one would be a story that he would tell at dinner engagements for the next few months. In fact it was appearing now that the splitting in a whole bunch of fat politician's sides at the dinner table, and the lack of oxygen that would come of not being able to breath on account of laughing so hard would be the most damage that this lady would ever do, as thirty cops with shields surrounded the perimeter of the building and trapped the poor girl inside. For the lady that came out of an overturned heavily armored car shooting laser beams at the cops, Lex finally got personally involved, in that after burning away one officer's leg by shooting clear through his cop shield, Lex returned fire, in the form of a sniper shot right through her carbine power cell. To her credit, she did throw the gun away before the gun exploded in her hands, and this blinded and badly burned a few more cops when she chucked it behind the barricade. It was about this time that an ambulance showed up, and the 15 or so cops that needed medical attention had to gamble for who got the first ride to the hospital. When Lex's backup arrived; another 50 cops from the next precinct over is when things ACTUALLY got ugly. Of course at first looking at the scene it looked like a tornado with a particularly vindictive attitude had been down the street. Many of the shops would have to close up for weeks before they could reopen to the public, and the front rooms of the first floors of a couple of the buildings had completely collapsed. The chief of police, Lynch Berevo arrived, and made special note of all of this. "Yeah, this looks about like last week Lex, what the hell are you doing?" Lex interceded. "Last week was a carnival ride, and they were all small time compared to these people." Lex punctuated his statement by pointing out the giant bunny with spikes all over as it started to get back up, and the sniper lady now making demands for her own escape, that 'more innocent lives would be sacrificed if she wasn't given an exit this instant,' apparently she'd thought she killed somebody... "Did she?" Officer Lynch's statement held the tone of a knife edge. "No of course not, she threw an exploding gun behind that barricade," Lex pointed out the blackened cement, "and some cops got some third degree burns, but nobody's dead." Lynch was quiet for a long time, watching the besuited guy and lanky elf guy fight on like nothing odd was going on. "You're right Lex, bravo, this situation was well handled." Lex gave Lynch a suspicious look when his face didn't show approval. "The very tops of two skyscrapers about five miles east of here just exploded. It's still in your precinct, so to finish off the night, I want you to go and investigate it personally. You can have ten of my best men." "I'll leave and take care of that as soon as this situation is handled." ooc: decided to change the last bit... not just gonna leave for the other battle just yet. ![]()

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
He has grown stronger since Chinatown. Raisha reacted fast enough , nullifying each of the Quincy’s arrows with her own. They collided witch each other, flashed brightly and faded into the sky, like lightning near the rooftops, they lit up the sky.
This wasn’t much, though. She had only been using a fraction of her power, and all he was able to do for now was keep up. Perhaps he was using a fraction of his power only as well, but if that was all he could put out, then if she chose to fight on, this would be over sooner than the Quincy had anticipated. She decided she would just show him what he was up against, and if he continued to fight, then she would accept this as a challenge—a practice match, to help her control her power and use it as directed while, hopefully, under a tiny bit of pressure. She propelled herself forward, leaping through the air at blinding speed towards Monroe. He saw her move, and raised his bow to fire. He let off a few quick, but strong shots. The Vizard easily knocked them aside with her hand, rendering them useless; her Steel Skin ability was always there; it’s only when her sword is unleashed, then she’s vulnerable. She put out her hand, reaching for his face. Monroe rose his arms up and blocked it, but as soon as he did, her figure blurred and dissipated. She appeared behind him and kicked his legs out from under him. Both his feet went up into the air as his head went down; the Vizard’s hand slammed into his forehead, helping gravity to bring him down, smashing through the rooftop and landing on the floor below. Eden ignored the redhead, pretending he wasn’t there. She felt that he wasn’t entirely like the pink-haired man, who had that perfect perverted grin on his face before she slammed her leg into his crotch. This redhead was just interested in her sword—he reminded her of one of those people that just stared and moaned “Shiinnnnyy” before slowly reaching out to touch whatever it was, as if it would bite their hands off. She turned, pocketing a pack of cigarettes and putting an unlit one in her lips. She walked straight past the boy as if he were a statue, walking toward the wall of shields that the police officers held up. Over their heads, she saw the giant bunny being gunned down, and raised an eyebrow before turning her attention to the officers in front of her. All of them held firm, seemingly ready for anything. Seemingly. She drew her gun swiftly and aimed at one in the middle, firing a bullet that shattered the top of his shield and ripped through his shoulder. The shot lifted the man off the ground as he yelped, falling backward. As the others watched their colleague fall back, Eden moved swiftly, slamming her fist into the helmet of the next one, creating a hole in the wall for her to run across the street and into the darkness of the alleyways. “What is your name, anyway?” she asked, “Who are you?” Clown completely ignored her question, focused only on the black matter on her hand; and how it shapeshifted to any form she wanted. “Annnythiinnng?” he asked, wide-eyed. But before she could answer, he flipped off the log and ran a little way. “Can you make a car?” “Vroom vroom!” he put his arms in front of her, beginning to run circles around the girl. Clown leapt forward, standing on his hands once more. “Tada~!” he grinned, “Well , can you?” |

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
Blood dripped from Monroe's mouth a little bit as he dangled a few feet off the ground. His right hand had slim, green wires attached to his finger tips that he had bound around the woman's feet while she had been attacking. Surely she didn't think he'd be that easy to bring down. After all, she was fast for the split second she'd out moved him, but for now... she was more than a little trapped.
The Quincy smirked as he pulled the strings and, as quickly as he had nearly been knocked down three floors, stopping just above the floor of the third floor down, he was on the ground and she was falling towards him. The woman fell like a lead weight as she crashed through the floor below him. Had it not been for a last second shift and movement to the side, the dark clad man realized he would have probably been crushed. Still, that didn't stop him. The archer smiled as he shifted his weight and began to pull, lifting the woman out of the hole she had fallen down and spinning her around the office building. As her body tore apart the cubicles and other work areas, the Quincy tried to end his attack quickly to rethink his next move. With a powerful heave, he tossed her out a nearby window and dispelled his strings. Her body moved towards the window quickly, but as she neared the wall of glass her body was flying towards, she seemed to catch herself. Before Monroe could fully understand how, the glass of the windows shattered inwards as her feet pressed against it and she stared at him. She was knelt against the damaged side of the building. "Well, lady, I've got to hand it to you. That's pretty good..." Monroe said, recreating his bow and pointing its end at her, "but lets see how good," he stated as he began to fire off arrows one at a time towards her. Now, to test just how quick on her feet this woman truly was. When the cops showed up, with their riot gear and shields, only one thought entered Zachary's mind: I've gotta mop these guys up quickly, he told himself as he looked at Monster. If that thing was here, he was bound to have trouble, something told him. The ice mage quickly began to spin around as magical energy flowed from his hands and formed swords. Quickly, as he continued to spin, he released the two curved short swords he held and let them fly. "Take this!" he yelled as he stopped spinning, watching the blades slowly spin outwards around and cut down the police that approached. Unfortunately for Zachary, after a few of the cops were taken down, his blades wound up embedded into nearby buildings, making them useless. "Dammit..." he muttered as he leapt back to avoid a claw from the large bunny creature that had appeared. "What are you?" Zachary asked as the creature suddenly blasted him with a powerful Gale Edge in the chest. The Replicator was flung backwards and suddenly crashed into something. Something not very sturdy, he noted, as the thing fell over with him. Much to the ice mage's surprise, the thing he had struck was another person. Although he wasn't sure who, as he slid off the person, he placed his hand down to try to center himself, but found himself pressing something against the ground. After a few seconds past, it occurred to him just what he was holding. The ice innate held in his hand the sword he had found so fascinating. In the next few instances, memories and the structure of the weapon were completely transferred into his memory as he leapt forwards and ducked as a bullet whizzed past him. "Calm down, lady. I'm sorry, I got thrown back," Zachary stated as he took a few steps back and looked over his shoulder. Great, that giant bunny thing was still there. "Well, guess I need to make the best of this," the ice mage stated as he created his short swords again. Now things were complex. Police, a giant bunny monster, and a pissed off woman with a mask and a big gun. How much worse could the day become? Emile rushed quickly, intent on breaking through the lines. Her spear flashed quickly as she struck her way through the riot police and leapt over their cars, trying to find someone stupid enough to try to fight her. Bullets bounced off her armor as she rushed the police and cut them down like ribbons. The purple haired woman was still focused on finding the man that she and the elf had been fighting. Where'd he get to? she asked herself as she glanced about for him. I'll find him, and I'll see just how tough this guy really is.

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
Atropos watched as the man began to run around her, pantomiming driving a car. This person was more mentally unstable than she was, only in a different manner apparently. He wasn't insane, just retarded.
"A car...? Well I guess I could..." Atropos said. "It wouldn't run like a car, but I could make something that looks like a car. It would take a long time though. If you want a real car there are plenty over there..." she pointed to the street, where a few cars were parked against the curb. "I can make a car key that runs a real car much faster than I can make a car that doesn't run." Somebody, somewhere, fired a real bullet at Jennifer. It hit the inside part of her left armgun, barely missing her arm as it flew through. Immediately, the weapon squealed a high-pitched siren noise, and various red LED lights lit up and began flashing. These warning signals indicated an uncontainable plasma cell breach, which invariably led to a large explosion as it decompressed. She removed the weapon from her arm as fast as she could, and tossed it behind the police barricade. A huge explosion of green light and pure heat rocked the round, vaporizing anything or anyone unlucky enough to be caught inside it. It seemed most of the police managed to avoid being vaporized, and were simply seriously burned and thrown back fifteen feet and into the asphalt by the green fireball. The concrete barricades themselves were shattered into toasted rubble. It was about this time that CORE came to pick up her vehicle. A large unmarked helicopter (generally she would have expected a more typical tow truck, but there's no way it would have gotten through the police barricade) flew over, and within moments had picked up the car and flown away. Now that her vehicle was safe, she could feel free to flee the scene whenever she wanted. But someone had destroyed her weapon. Her expensive weapon. Hopefully they weren't as invulnerable as the man who'd destroyed her windshield. A few police showed up behind her, attempting to arrest her. They were both wielding batons. Jennifer shot them both in the shoulder, and they fell to the ground. Avoiding the police, she went into a nearby alley, firing her grappling cables up to the rooftop, so she could climb up. Once she was on the roof, she pulled out her sniper, turning it on with a click of a button. It buzzed and hummed as it warmed up, charging a laser shot. She pulled off her gas mask (she wouldn't need it way up here anyway) and put her eye to the nightscope, looking for the person whose shot had destroyed her plasma gun. When she had located him, still holding his sniper, she pulled the trigger. An invisible beam of light flew through the man's weapon, breaking it in two and effectively destroying it. Considering that his weapon certainly wasn't worth as much as hers was, she would follow up with a shot to the knee, which would cripple the man. The scene was a mess, and only getting worse by the moment. Police were crawling everywhere, but they weren't managing to control the situation at all. The overpowered super-humans were simply tossing them aside like dummies. Chaos was the opposite of control, and between the two, ISAAC preferred control. He decided he would help the police in cleaning up this mess, but in order to do that he would have to get the police to stop trying to take him down. A couple more police, dressed in full riot armor, tried just then to beat ISAAC into submission. ISAAC kicked one of the cops' knees in, breaking it, and threw the other cop at an overturned vehicle, off of which he rolled onto the ground. ISAAC looked around for the man in charge, and when he found him began to walk towards him. ISAAC saw, with his infrared sensors, a high-powered laser shoot at the man's gun, and located the woman on the rooftop. He walked in between the woman's line of fire and the cop, and then began to speak. "What a mess we have here, yes? I'd help you clean up these miscreants, but it seems your men are mistaking me for a criminal myself. I have done nothing wrong, and even if I did, you can't arrest a machine anyway, can you?" ISAAC said. |

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
OoC: Oh, what power you possess quicksilver20. Time for some retaliation! I couldn’t just stand here and watch how the whole police force simply finished off all those fighters so easily.
Aronin watched as the police swiftly attacked and quenched the fight going on at the street levels. Apparently, they knew exactly what to do for each type of enemy, and from what Aronin could see, they had the upper hand in the battle. Well, it was not his fight, not anymore. Turning away, he watched the two fighters some blocks away fighting each other on the roof tops. Unobvious of what had just happened, they were fighting with so much power, that the whole sky lit up for each blow, it seemed. Aronin wished he could be that powerful, someday, to fight in epic fights with powers like those. Behind him, a police chopper had caught him in the spotlight and was shouting that he should not be up on the roof now, as it was dangerous for the civilians here. Aronin shock his head and proceeded towards the stairs on the other side of the roof. He did not feel sorry for those that were caught in the streets below. At least, that was what he told himself. He was not responsible for those guys. They had been destroying city properties after all… And he had not, and should therefore not get into trouble. If it was only so easy to accept. He thought of the two fighters on the rooftops, one of them just punched the other though a roof, only as a display of power. And that was exactly what they were doing on the street levels. A display of power. A black shadow flew across the rooftops, towards Aronin. He stopped in his motion, the police chopper still following him with its spot, and watched as the black object fluttered as paper in the wind, coming straight at him, and blew straight past him. Aronin reached out a hand, catching it, and held it still. It was his black coat that he had been wearing earlier this day. The chopper shouted again, asking him to move out of harm’s way as fast as possible. Aronin slowly turned, still holding his coat, and pointed his finger as a gun towards the chopper. “Bang,” he said and loosened the rotor bolt. It came flying off, causing the body to go into a dramatic spin, and crashed on a rooftop. Aronin held his coat up in front of him, looked at it and smirked. Didn’t he throw it away? Slowly, he put it on, and walked confident to the edge of the rooftop. He was now almost entirely covered in black and completely invisible from the streets above. “Let’s play,” he said to himself and jumped down. Catching himself with telekinesis just as before, he made his entry much more brutal, and lethal to the police officer that had taken the unfortunate place of standing on his landing place. The police officers quickly realized what was going on, and as expected, they would know exactly what to do. Tear gas was thrown, and bullets were fired, but Aronin simply dismissed the bullets with telekinesis and held back the tear gas emitters, leaving him standing unharmed in the middle of the fray. As soon as the police stopped firing, he started his attack. First, he sent the police men closest to him flying, some hitting the barricade, some hitting police cars, and other hitting other police officers a little further behind. As a few police officers shoot flares at him, Aronin pulled himself up and shoot to the sky. Never had he flied this fast before, and he almost dropped himself in his amazement. Looking down at the street, he saw the police officers now getting back on their feet and the reinforcements now started to direct their attention towards the now flying man. Aronin knew he couldn’t do proper flight, and that his options now were limited, but he quickly saw the solution to this. A building that had been almost destroyed from the fight was on the edge of succumbing to the damages caused on it by countless attacks. A swift motion from Aronin was enough to pull it over the edge, as it collapsed on top of a few police cars, and some officers. The moment it collapsed, the majority of the police turned their attention towards the building, which gave Aronin the time he needed to decent down to the ground. He quickly noticed some of the previous guys being either caught or being overrun with cops. The bunny, which did not seem that threatening as before, was somehow rendered powerless by the flares, which Aronin now was sending flying by telekinesis. Positioning himself in the middle of the street, he got into a fighting position, lighting up his hands with glowing blue plasma, and covered himself with a telekinetic barrier to stop the bullets from the police. “Who’s with me?!” He yelled and sent a ball of plasma away from his hands towards a police van, directing it by making the air magnetized. The police car exploded, sending two police officers who were hiding behind it far away. |

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
ooc:
The obvious choice now is for the military to get involved. Giant bunny and swordsmen against tanks and missiles, that would be funny. I, however, only desired to mix things up a bit and refresh the idea of a street fight for a couple posts and god modded and powerplayed hardly at all (I didn't even injure anyone at all sparing some bruises). If it is desired, I can have the cops retreat after they try using live rounds and RPG's (the obvious plot progression) for a post. I want Lex to fight people himself anyway, so the military is apparently trying to stop whaling and promote recycling instead of throwing away post it notes and can't be bothered with a city being destroyed. MY only complaint is killing cops, but I'll discuss that in the OoC thread... Bic: And then things really got out of hand. Lynch just stood there scratching his head in utter fumigation when about 20 good officers died within only a few seconds. Two officers defied direct orders to give the criminals some space and try to subdue them before making any arrests (and Lex was secretly hoping the villains would make a get away before it got to that) and they went right up to one of the smaller ones in some neat looking frippery to make a puerile arrest. They both went down, and on Lex's next promulgation via PA, NO ONE was to go to get them till they had proper cover or till the scene in that area had cleared of danger. Whether the men were still alive or not, Lex wasn't about to cause more casualties. Lex was first amazed that people would blindly kill at the first provocation and then he put on a dead unemotional face at the ugliness of these people, but taking into account the company he was in, he had nearly no reaction. Lynch had to remind himself to close his jaw, as cars and bodies were flung into the air with no cause or remorse for human life. He started to sputter something at Lex, but as he turned, Lex was already on the PA shouting orders and he quickly realized that Lex was far better suited for this situation. When Lex did turn around and saw the Chief's expression he ushered some cops to take him into the nearest diner for some hot milk and some aspirin. Lex got on the PA. "Now it's do or die time folks. I'd like right now for anyone of you that DIDN'T just kill a few cops to please raise your hand. If any of YOU folks would like to turn and start fighting anyone who DID just kill a Popo, then you will be stripped of all charges and further be given a congressional medal for your bravery." Nearly everyone turned to start fighting until Lex chimed in again, stealing the thunder of not a few. "And if you could do it WITHOUT destroying the city it'd be much appreciated." Lex's next command was for all of the cops to switch to live rounds and missile launchers, and their riot guns were already well equipped. "Now, we play dirty too." When the big robot thing approached him and asked if he could help Lex made a 'go right ahead' motion at the street. "Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated." Lex went to pick up his gun to join in the fight, but found it blown to bits. Lex's reaction of slumped shoulders would have been comical if not for the situation.

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
He wanted to see how fast she was, but he kept firing off those arrows over and over. Those useless—she batted one away with ease—almost powerless—she grasped one and crushed with in her fingers—little arrows. They couldn’t faze her before, so why’d he keep on shooting? To be honest, to any normal person, this would be highly annoying. But she was far from normal, wasn’t she? No normal person could stop these with their bare hands, and no normal person would be able to stand—or walk on-- air.
Her hand grasped the hilt of her zanpakuto. Should I release? I might just be vulnerable with it. I don’t know what else he’d be able to do. I should just outdo him as much as I can right now. She drew her short zanpakuto quickly, a long string of blue energy followed it out. It wrapped itself around her blade as she swung, letting out a bright blue ray of light. “Spirit Getsuga!” The large blast smashed into the building, cleaving it in two. The top of the building leaned as the mid-section, where Monroe was, was crushed by the blast. “Don’t touch what’s not yours!” Eden swiftly grabbed up Excalibur and Avalon and shoulder-tackled the boy as he turned his head, forming his swords in his hand. Her shoulder connected with his chest, and the force of the blow flung him back out into the middle of the street, where all the action was. During that bit, the black ribbon in her hair had come loose, and her hair’s length had dropped down to the center of her back. As she stood up straight, Ticker took this moment to come out of her collar, and climb up her hair before jumping to her shoulder. In a huff, she reattached the sword and scabbard to her belt. “Wooooww.” He exclaimed, not looking at the girl, not even listening to her. His mind was now focused on the pretty flashes and explosions in the sky over the city. The top of a building tilted, so much so that it crashed into the mid-section of another skyscraper. There were sirens and flashing lights and—“Wheeeeee!” Clown jumped up and down excitedly, before moving toward the chaos with an odd mix of sauntering, skipping and flipping. |

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
Monroe smiled. Not a smile like Zorlo's, where he just smiled because. This smile held a purpose. This smile read what would happen in the next seconds. This smile knew just what had happened. This smile knew what would happen next.
As the building collapsed, Monroe recalled just how familiar that attack was. That had been one of Zorlo's favorite attacks when it came down to it. The destructive power Zorlo had shown with the attack had been just as impressive, and still, even now, as the building began to collapse, the archer couldn't help but smile. Still, a building collapsing on you, if you were anyone who could be killed by such a thing, would have thought to escape. Well, that thought hit a bit late. As pieces of the building fell around the dark clad man, he still stood. He began laughing hysterically as the building fell in on itself. Surely debris scattered throughout the nearby area, but that didn't matter at the moment. At that moment, the ecstasy of what had just happen had stolen any care in the world. From the raining waste that had once been a skyscraper, a figure emerged and shot skywards for a moment. After a few quick backflips, the Quincy landed on a building nearby and began to clap. "Congratulations. If I hadn't seen that attack before, I might have decided to move earlier, but nostalgia kept me in place for a few seconds. One right out of Z's arsenal, huh? Only problem is," the dark clad man said as he knelt down and reached his left hand behind his back, "I've seen it before!" The ground beneath Monroe exploded as he pushed off and a buzzing noise started to ring out. Something spin idly in his left hand, around his index finger, as he moved forwards. In the next second, the blade stopped and slashed towards Raisha. "I enjoy a good sword fight as much as the next guy. Let's go!" Zachary stood up and dusted himself off as he looked at the woman. "Jesus. I didn't mean to knock you over and I sure as hell didn't have any plans to steal your sword. Not like I could use it if I did. Anyway, what gives you the right to assume people's-" Zachary found himself being cut off as he ducked backwards and narrowly evaded a claw swipe from Monster. Yes... can't forget about that... that'd be bad, the Replicator told himself as he slid to a stop. The dust that flew up from under him quickly reminded him of just what he had been doing before he knocked the masked woman down. The ice mage spun his swords in his hands and held himself ready. "I don't want to fight you, if you really are Wisp in there, but, if you don't stop... I will have to stop you!"

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
Shan turned and started walking away from the commotion. After all, no matter how good your immune system is, tear gas still stings. That was when something knocked him, hard, over the back of the head. “Ow.” He stood for a second and gathered his scattered thoughts before looking over his shoulder to see another officer standing with a baton raised. “Huh, more of you?”
“You are under arrest for the assault of several police officers,” he proclaimed. Despite the massive chaos, this guy was still interested in going through procedure. The mercenary had to hand it to him. Shan held up his hands, “Look, you’ve got it-” He didn’t manage to finish as several more officers rushed over and started bludgeoning the pink-haired man, forcing him into a crouch and covering his head with his hands to ward off blows. Jeez, they didn’t even let me finish. These guys suck. Charging up his gauntlets, the mercenary let out a bright flash of light, blinding the cops. Shan charged out of the little circle they had made, knocking a couple of the officers over. Glancing back, he saw a some of them were hitting each other, thinking they were getting the guy with the pink hair. Hah, that’s what you get. Ducking around a corner, Shan sighed in exasperation and ran a hand through his hair. “Man, this has gotten really bad.” Several explosions came from ground zero. “And I don’t even want to know what those other people are doing.” Okay, maybe that wasn’t quite right. He was interested in seeing just what kind of destruction was going on, if just to see how utterly absurd it was getting. All in all, this wasn’t turning into too bad of a day. He peaked around the corner in time to see a police van get blown to smithereens. Nice. Now what else... Is that a bunny monster?! I think I’ve just lost it. No, sure enough, Zach was using ice swords to fight a bunny monster. And standing just a couple feet from that scuffle was the woman with the half-mask. With her hair let out and gun in hand, she looked like a real force of nature. Shan stepped out and waved at her, “Hi, scary lady.”

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
Switching to live rounds for the cops made very little difference. In fact it greatly hindered them in many ways. Whereas the bludgeoning bullets were meant to knock over their targets and they had at least slowed Derrick and Monster, the real bullets hardly seem to effect most of the targets.
Swordsmen slashed bullets right out of the air, jedi style, while others were bullet proof or seemed impervious to the pain caused by them. Furthermore, at Lex's latest announcement, most everyone continued their fight and joined sides as they were (seemingly randomly) chosen before. Lex was appalled that any sentient being would start fighting in and destroying the streets of a metropolitan area when he was privy to some of the situations that had started the big brawl. A certain elf seemed to be right at the center of it all, where he had picked a fight with a car for no apparent reason, and the local cop and his partner in the area had tried to subdue him. Lex was in the area, enjoying dinner and had planned on going to a movie, if the Friday night with a full moon hadn't indeed been a night when all the weirdos came out. Lex sighed to himself, Derrick had jumped out a window at the first sign of any action, and the bunny girl, the girl with the skates and the sec ops looking lady had all joined in on the prospect of joining in on some high entertainment. THAT WAS IT! When things really actually got ugly was when a little tiff and the group associated with it came out of an alley way right into the same area. Lex was quietly grumbling to himself when another explosion rocked the streets. This must have been what Lynch had been talking about, and this latest development had Lex scratching his head. At this point in the night, cops were throwing shields down and running from the scene, as the leader of each unit at the lack of orders from the captain or the chief decided the best thing was to leave the area to its destruction and hope to keep the fight from spreading to other sectors of the city. Lex's idea had been to barricade off the area in a three block perimeter to block traffic and pedestrians from entering the area. Central to Lex's plan had been getting civilians out of the buildings and off the streets, and protecting the innocents by slowing down the nonsensical killing. Now that this process was completed, the order finally came for any cops in the area to evacuate and classify the villains' playground as condemned. Cops with cops on stretchers leaving the scene as fast as possible was the scene that was now unfolding. Lex's attention was turned to the latest explosion. Turning, he saw the top of a skyscraper smoldering in the distance. Lex went a few blocks away from the nearest scene to fetch his mecha suit. He turned on his infrared to find the source of the one that had demolished his rifle, but could see no evidence of any suspicious activity. |

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
(OoC: Sorry about this being really short... I can't think of anything else... >.>' )
Monster just chuckled as it heard the cops leaving the scene. “Much better…” It hissed, before flinging Zachary away with a large Shadow Spire, which he then smashed through the wall of the building behind him. The ice mage jumped out of the hole he had caused, before charging at the giant rabbit. It was going to swipe at him again, but froze in it’s tracks. What?! Drat… she’s fighting back. Oh well, it was fun… A large gray orb obscured it from view, before Wisp came back as the orb fell and she fell to the ground with it, unconscious for the moment.

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
That whirring… loud and electric. The sword the man held was vibrating at an extremely high frequency. It buzzed loudly as the Vizard dodged every single move at the very last second. It seemed to cut swiftly through the air, as if no resistance were holding it back. At first, she was thinking about bringing out Isis to defend herself, but she figured that that would be like bringing a chainsaw to a branch—her Hierro would have no effect either.
So…what would she do? Monroe slashed at her vertically and she moved to one side, simultaneously slashing her sword as a clever distraction and slamming an iron kick into his temple, tossing him to an opposite rooftop. “To the ends of the earth, Isis.” The gears clicked and whirred as the sword transformed swiftly into the mechanical marvel. Immediately, it charged with another Getsuga before she let it fly. Monroe dodged it, just as predicted. The blast went on to devastate the rooftop, peeling that and the top story off, breaking it apart and throwing it all through the air. As soon as the Quincy moved, however, he was met with a rain of bullets. They bludgeoned him, sending him to another roof. Raisha was more vulnerable now, her Hierro would no longer protect her, since she had unsealed her weapon. She could try to keep him at bay, but if he got close, she could easily dodge and deal some damage with a kick or two. “Hi, scary lady.” Immediately, her gun was readied, the barrel whirring as it was aimed at the man’s forehead. He was about to raise some words of protest but he was simply cut off by Eden swiftly brushing passed him, lowering her gun as she went on, ignoring him. Quickly, she holstered her gun and moved passed another, odd looking white-haired man, who seemed to be taken up in the pinkness of the other person’s hair. Eden looked back at him for a moment as his talons rose to scratch his head. “It’s…Pink.” Clown said, moving his talons down to scratch his chin thoughtfully “like strawberry ice cream—or CAKE FROSTING! …mmm…Cake.” Suddenly, he pointed a talon at Shan. “The cake is not a lie!” he shouted, grinning. |

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
Small pieces of the roof fell as the Quincy lay in the building. Aside from a series of annoying, small twinges of pain from the spirit bullets, he wasn't any worse for the wear. Still, he understood all too well what he was up against now. This foe wasn't a simple mass of strength that used it recklessly. She was a thinking, calculating foe that would use everything to her advantage. Still, if Monroe had fought like he had in Chinatown, this fight would be over already.
This time, however, he wasn't about to simply rush in blindly and get beaten to a pulp. Clearly she could read the vibrations my sword was giving off. It's how she knew to evade my Seele Schneider and not block it with her sword. Still, now that I'm done getting my feel for this battle, it's time I actually do something worthwhile. Now then... I've got my five Seele Schneider... and eight silver tubes. Not much of an arsenal, but it will do. The buzzing from his blade had already long ceased by the time the dark clad man placed his weapon down. He could sense that he foe had just landing on top of the building he was in. The best plan to use for now is a simple one. Save the complex ideas for later and keep it simple stupid. Now then... to counter attack. The Quincy smiled as he reached into his jacket and removed a silver tube. Although I'm sure she'll be very capable of avoiding most of this, its more a test than anything else. Monroe tossed the tube up. The small object passed through the hole he had entered and found the Vizard staring at it as it lifted up. "Ignite!" the archer yelled as the tube began to glow and then exploded in Raisha's face. Quickly, Monroe picked up the handle of his Seele Schneider and ran towards a window. The window shattered outwards towards the street as the Quincy streaked across the sky towards another building. His feet rested firmly on the side of the building for a second before he catapulted himself towards the woman. The Quincy quickly created the blade of his Seele Schneider and continued to push upwards as the reaper fanned away the smoke. The dark clad man held his weapon in a backhand grip as he quickly made his first flash towards her. The woman ducked back, narrowly evading the attack as she mildly moved backwards just enough to raise her leg and attempt to kick him. Monroe evaded narrowly to the side as the kick came up and spun his sword in his hand so it was in a normal hold and slashed the blade down. Raisha moved her blade quickly, turning it back into a sword in the process, and the two weapons clashed. Sparks erupted from where the weapons struck as the dark clad man made a powerful push suddenly. The ground beneath the Vizard collapsed and pushed her three floors down the building she had been standing up. Aside from that, where their blades had met, Isis showed signs of an indent and mild burn marks. Worked about as well as I could have hoped, but still, I can't just stand around. She'll be counterattacking herself now. Monroe leapt from the building he now stood upon onto one a small ways off and deactivated his Seele Schneider and placed it between his teeth, forming his bow. Now, while she couldn't see would be the best time to start this party off. He drew back the bow string and smiled a little. "Streuungs-schuss." Scatter shot. As he released the string of the bow, almost twenty arrows flew from the bow and began to pummel the building Raisha was in. Quickly, Monroe did this multiple times. If nothing else, it'd be a good distraction. Zachary bent down and lifted Wisp up and carried her away from the combat and sat down. She was back to normal, which was good, but still, he worried about her. Rest for now, Wisp. I'll protect you, he thought as he moved into an area where combat had all but ceased and placed the woman down in a relatively undamaged building where he hoped she'd be safe. Still, things were never that easy. As Zachary exited the building, he took note of two people staring at him. One was Shan, and the other was a very odd looking man. "HI CANDY-CANE! First strawberry ice cream, and now a candy cane! What's next?" Clown asked as he began bouncing around Zach and Shan. The ice mage just watched the crazy man bounce around, he took note of two things: one was that this man was, obviously, completely mad. The second was that there was a shiny thing coming towards him. "Move!" the Replicator called out as he quickly formed his short swords and held them defensively. "Gae Bolg!" a voice cried out as a flash of silver entered the eyes of the nearby men. A clash of swords and spear echoed out as the two found themselves weapon locked. The Silver Beauty pressed the electrified tip of her spear against the blades of the ice innate's short swords. "Great... this day can't get any worse, can it?" the red haired warrior asked as he pushed his swords apart and he and Emile leapt backwards. "Depends on how you define w-" the lancer half said as Clown tackled her. "Oh~! Shiny!" The armored woman protested fiercely against the man's unwanted advances and tried to get him to leave her alone. "Get off me, you moron! You're getting in the way of my mission! Get off so I can fight that kid!" "I don't have time to waste fighting you, Emile. I need to make sure my student is okay. Now then... leave me alone." The woman turned fiercely more angry. "NO! Not until you and I have a decisive battle!" The Replicator simply looked at her and sighed. "I don't see a point right now. You can't wait just a little while." Emile backhanded Clown in the face and stood up. The woman picked up her spear and glared at the ice mage. "No. I'm going to defeat you. And I'm going to do it now." The ice innate sighed again. "If you insist," he said, spinning his swords in his hands and readying to fight.

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
Atropos watched while the odd man walked off down the street, and decided not to follow him. Instead, she had given herself an idea, and walked up to one of the cars. It was a large red truck, and looked like it must have a powerful engine. She filled the door lock with black matter, which formed into the shape of the key and hardened. She unlocked the door with the makeshift key, and melted the black matter into liquid again. She got into the driver's seat, and used the blob of black matter to form an ignition key. In a short moment, she had the truck running.
Atropos shifted into drive, and pulled out onto the street. Ahead she could see smoke and fire, as if an entire city block was being burned down. She used telekinesis to put the pedal to the metal, and the tires squealed as the vehicle tore down the street. She rammed into a few other vehicles on the street, sending them spinning out of control, and she sideswiped a pedestrian who was walking along the sidewalk. Up ahead she noticed a police barricade, blocking off an area of destruction. Several policemen in full riot armor saw her coming, and tried to get her to stop, but they all had to jump out of the way at the last moment. She drove the truck right into the barricade, and the vehicle flew up and over it, performing half a barrel roll and landing upside down in the ruined street, sliding to a stop on its roof. The entire side of the car exploded outward when Atropos waved her hand at it, and she crawled out of the wreckage unharmed. She brushed herself off and took a look around at all the destruction and powerful individuals causing the destruction. Atropos liked chaos, and to get into the mood that everyone else was apparently in, she pointed her finger at a police car, raising it into the air. With a wave of her arm, it flew through the air and crushed the nearest police officer. Then it exploded into several pieces of sharpened shrapnel. Then the wall of the nearest building collapsed and buried the remains of the vehicle and officer underneath it. For good measure she found a piece of burning wreckage and threw it into the mix, igniting the gasoline from the police car and causing the entire pile to burst into flames. Atropos cracked her fingers and smiled at a job well done. The scene was utter chaos, and ISAAC didn't understand what the point was. Were these people all insane? Just another reason to hate these idiotic humans. He decided he would make it his mission to put an end to this destruction, even if it meant killing every single one of these insane humans. That probably wouldn't happen though. Some of these guys could probably tear ISAAC apart without much effort. Obviously, he would have to try and avoid that, though it wouldn't be too much of an issue really. He'd been torn apart before, he'd been vaporized before, he'd been melted before. With millions of separate bodies, he'd been subjected to every form of destruction possible, and none of it hurt him in any way. He approached one of the villainous miscreants; the one who had just blown up a police van. He had noticed that he was telekinetic, but he didn't think telekinesis would be able to stop pure energy. Or so ISAAC hoped. He powered up his directed energy weapons, and fired a burst of flaming red plasma at the man. "This destruction is causing the death of several innocent people, and destroying the property of many more innocent people. You are part of the cause, human. Cease now or die." Jennifer got up, and put her weapon away. She was still standing on the rooftops, looking down at the chaotic scene in the streets. It was all a nonsense mess, and she didn't really have any reason to stay there. It was getting pretty late, she should just go home. But there was something about the destruction that was captivating. Suddenly, she noticed that this wasn't the only destruction going on. In the distance she saw a skyscraper being torn apart. She could barely make out the two figures jumping all about it, fighting each other with power beyond reason. These super-humans were a wonder in one sense, and a terrible nightmare in another. There was no way the police would be able to handle these monsters. Jennifer felt sorry for the poor innocent policemen, but there wasn't anything she could do about it but watch. |

Re: Just Like You Imagined (Anyone And Everyone!)
OoC: Sorry I'm late! =P. I'm using both characters (White's posts come first, though). For the record, this fits into Falenor's story after the events of Indefinite Turmoil, even though that's still going.
BiC : It was supposed to be a nice, peaceful vacation: taking in the bustling metropolis, sightseeing, all the mundane activities White had missed since his psyche fractured. So of course some sort of massive fight had to start just a few blocks away from his hotel. White was absolutely sick of this sort of thing, so he decided to ignore it; most of his fragments supported this decision, but Cyan would have none of it. Dammit, White, LET ME OUT! Cyan practically screamed inside White's head to be released, causing some measure of pain for several minutes. Finally relenting, White summoned the fragment and Cyan immediately charged into the middle of the fray, muttering something arcane under his breath. In an instant, the area was suffused with a pale light like the suddenly clear sky above them, cushioning all the blows taking place nearby but failing to stop them completely. "Well, he just made himself the biggest target in existence. He's not going to want to be unsummoned, either." White grumbled. Like it or not, he was involved in the battle now...it was likely that Cyan had just annoyed all the combatants, he thought. His suddenly panicked thoughts were interrupted by several other fragments pestering him for a summoning; Grey wanted to hurt, Yellow and Blue wanted to heal, Magenta wanted to take on a few of em, and Orange just liked to revel in the chaos. Left with very little choice, White summoned the lot of them and, allowing Green dominance, just tried to remain as hidden as possible. He didn't want any part of this. Orange, meanwhile, sat on a nearby rooftop laughing maniacally and lobbing fireballs at everything in sight. He hit several police cars which then went up in unusually large explosions, and at least one of the riot police was taken away with minor burns. This just made Orange laugh even harder as he sent police batons flying into the combatants with telekinesis and pelted them with fire. Yellow and Blue set about fixing up the policemen that had been wounded; the fighters could take care of themselves. Grey, however, noted the delicious capability for hurting people and immediately singled out an injured-looking woman in one of the few structures that was practically still standing. Almost tasting the pain, Grey headed straight for the woman with both swords in hand, intent only on inflicting as much pain as possible. Shaking his head at the underhanded tactics Grey employed, Magenta drew his greatsword and looked around for the most challenging opponent. Not spotting anyone particularly standout in terms of combat, he simply bellowed "Come and fight me!" at the top of his voice and stood in a combat stance. Once again, White shook his head; the fragments were all somewhat weak by themselves and they were going to get slaughtered if he didn't get them together. ----------------------- Falenor sensed the immense energy output from the battle from miles away. Curiosity aroused, he flew to a nearby rooftop and perched there, observing the battle but not intervening as of yet. There were so many powers and attacks flying Falenor was hard pressed to take note of them, but he did his best. Pulling out a modified set of binoculars to better observe the goings-on, Falenor jotted down notes in a notebook at an almost inhuman speed as he documented the fight in surprisingly precise detail. OoC: easing back into roleplaying. Hope it wasn't too late to join or anything >_<
