A mysterious ones test (short ranger)

OOC: The last time I tried to train my brother, the others ditched us. So now, it's just us two. I'll still use Soumei, and he will still use kaon. He will make the intro as part of his training. Alright bro, the floor is yours.

OOC:thanks I'll do my best.
BIC:There is a tale of an oracle that resides on a mountain top. The oracle will answer one question to the first one to survive the treacherous slopes. Kaon knew that this might be the perfect chance to find out more about his ability. The climb wasn’t easy but it was necessary. He was almost killed many times during this climb but he was almost there and wasn’t about to give up.

Kaon reached a plateau and decided to rest for a moment. The summit and the temple of the oracle were in clear view now. He sat down and took a deep breath “your almost there, your question will soon be answered,” Kaon told himself. As he gazed off into the distance he saw something he didn’t expect, a hand reaching up from the opposite end of the plateau. Soon a man had pulled himself up upon the flat surface Kaon was resting on. Noticing the mans sword Kaon believed him to be a warrior.

OOC: because our first battle was never finished I will act as I have never seen Soumei before.

BIC:“Who are you?” Kaon asked.
“My name is Soumei,” the man replied. “what is yours.”
“I am called Kaon, why are you here.”
“I came here seeking the oracle. I need to use it to find something.”
“I to seek the oracles power.”
“My mission is of the utmost importance, I humbly ask you let my question be the one to be answered.”
“Do you think I would come here for a trivial reason? I need to see the oracle.”
“Fine then I must use force.” Soumei said as he drew his sword which immediately stared to glow.
“You seem tired first you rest then we fight.”

OOC:decent, my brother. You made some spelling and grammar mistakes, as well as you keep making out of character things in the middle of the battle to explain things, which is a waste of time and space, as you don't need to do that. I give you a 7/10. The basic idea was good, and the little background in the beginning was good, but the mistakes you made caused me to lower your score which would have been an 8 or 9. Good job for your first try. Now, my battle post.
IC: Soumei had rested for about a minute when he got up. Kaon got up as well, and pulled out a sword.
“I ask you a question before we begin. Why does your sword glow, Soumei?” Kaon spoke gently. Soumei grinned. Most people didn’t bother to care.
“It glows when it’s near warriors, that’s how I knew you could fight.” Soumei got into a pose, and Kaon took his own. They rushed at eachother. They slashed, and Soumei pushed him back. Soumei was the better swordsman. If he isn’t the best with his sword, then what is his skill? Soumei was caught off guard when Kaon tackled him. He beat him down hard into the ground. Soumei would regret that.
Soumei got up and saw Kaon starting to climb to the summit.
“You think I would be that weak and make it up here!” Kaon jumped back down.
“Glad you’re still good to bring it on. I want a good fight anyways.” Kaon rushed him again. They started getting heavy in a clang of swords. Soumei started slashing too rapidly for Kaon to block and Soumei gave Kaon about eight slashes. Kaon fell and Soumei sheathed his sword. He then sat and waited for Kaon to get up.
OOC: Your move SR.

Kaon stood up. “Why did you let me get up?” he asked
“You allowed me to rest earlier, just repaying the favor,” Soumei replied.
“Thank you but you may regret your generosity, I have not yet begun to fight.” Soumei redrew his sword and lunged at Kaon stepped back and felt the ground beneath his foot crumble a little bit. He looked down and saw a seemingly endless cliff. He looked back at Soumei who had started to swing his sword and smacked Kaon’s face with its hilt. Knocking him off the edge. Soimei looked over the edge but saw nothing.
‘I am sorry, I did not wish for you to die.” He said. And walked toward the temple of the oracle
“WAIT!” cried Kaon. Soumei whirled around “Its not over yet.”
“Will you ever give up?” Soumei asked. Kaon had climbed up a little and was now hanging off the side of the plateau.
“Only when I am dead.” He replied
“Then so be it.” Soumei walked over to the edge of the cliff and extended his hand. “I would rather not win this way.”
“I do not need your help.” Kaon said but his hands were slipping. Suddenly the rock he was holding onto broke and Kaon fell.
“So this is how it is going to end.” Kaon thought as he plummeted toward the ground. Suddenly he saw a large bird. “Please help me,” Kaon said to the bird. It flew over and Kaon landed on its back. “We're going up.” He told the bird and It started to climb. They were soon at the plateau; Soumei had started to climb to toward the summit.
“Stop right there!” Kaon said. Soumei turned around. “Like I said its not over yet.”
“Did you use the bird?” Soumei asked. “How did… what are you."
“I am a Beast master.” Kaon replied

OOC: decent, decent. I see you worked on spelling, good. But one snetnce kinda doesn't make sense, and you made a few grammar errors. The sentence is: Soumei redrew his sword and lunged at Kaon stepped back and felt the ground beneath his foot crumble a little bit. Yeah, that makes no sense. Also, towards the beginning, you said but without putting a comma in, which makes it improper. I know they aren't your strong points. but you need them so people understand the battle. I'm gonna work on soemthing a bit later, because it's morning now and I want to do other stuff. But, before I go, your score is.......
