The Out of Character Thread: There's this feelin' I get, when I look to the west

But do you not agree that the evil guys are often so much cooler than the good guys? Scar is so much cooler than Mufasa and Simba.

But Aladin is cooler than Jafar.

I actually liked Jafar. He had a different sort of cool to him, haha. I liked his upper lip, it flapped outward funny.

But I agree, usually the badguys are cooler. Disney is trying to subtly hint that being evil is cool.

Man, I haven't seen The Lion King and Aladdin in a long time. *sigh* Those were the days when animated Disney movies were good.

While we're on the topic of Disney... something to think about. I believe Walt had home problems with his parents. So go ahead and think for a minute about the movies. Which movie has both parents that are smart or generally good parents and which have one or none or generally dumb/ easily manipulated parents? Just a thought.

Yeah, I actually noticed a little while ago that in almost every single Disney movie/TV show that there's almost always a single parent. Not in all of them, but just a lot of them.

Isn't that true of a lot of children's entertainment though, especially animated stuff? Parents are always stupid/absent/negligent/oblivious/etc.

Power Shot is quite interested in creating a Pokemorpher character. LEA's has revitalized my interest in it.
