The Out of Character Thread: There's this feelin' I get, when I look to the west

I really want to draw Wisp's skill Monster. I just don't know how to do it...?

Just six more pages to go on this paper, and then I'm done! : D *celebrates*

Isn't it... essentially a giant ferocious-looking bunny? ^^;; Try drawing it sort of cartoony first to work out the features, even if they're exaggerated, while using photos of real rabbits for reference, and then try doing a more serious one once you've got the basics worked out. Maybe have her facing forward in an attack position, sort of sitting up on her haunches so we can see the spiral on her chest and her claws out?

Sorry about that, but that is too funny to be Monster.

The university hosted activity (The Japanese Language Club) that I normally attend today at six o'clock was canceled today. I missed last weeks meeting on account of getting over a case of insomnia. Next week, there is no meeting. The one I missed was the last one of the year. In other words...

I missed my chance to say goodby for the summer to my friends! T_T

Librairian is sad.

Ah yes, a good question, despite being rather short. Many people like to give their characters a hobby. Sometimes, it appears in the pieces they're in, and other times, it's just a little fun fact the author makes up about them. Sometimes, they play to the character's theme, and other times it comes right out of the blue. Either way, it's a good question.

Shisho: Reading. He enjoys researching magic in his spare time, and most magic is in books. While it does make him a better and stronger mage, he does it because he enjoys it personally. Not only is there a certain challenge behind the research (Which he enjoys overcoming, thereby learing a new spell), but a good deal of philosiphy, as well. He enjoys philosophic work, even if it isn't in a spell book. He is nigh upon fanatical aoubt his hobby, and constantly rereads his spell book. Naturally, he goes nuts at a library.

Kawaii: None, really. She's constantly doing something important.

Fuzen: Dating? Technically, murder is his hobby. That's actually a pretty good word to describe it.

Neko: Dating? Technically, she usually has a good time drinking socially. Drunk in public is her hobby.

Dreamer: Ice skating. Every winter (since she left home, anyways), she finds a shoe maker, and orders a pair of skates. Afterwards, she stops at every lake she comes across and spends the day skating. While not altogether too skilled, she is a faster skater than most. If pressed, she could do a jump and spin around once. She also enjoys lifting things. Having grown up in a cold place, she naturally had to haul a lot of firewood. It's what made her as physically fit as she is. She enjoys lifting things to keep up her physique.

Spider: People watching or poetry. Her mother used to love poetry, and, since she got part of her personality, she also enjoys poetry. Though one would imagine that she would prefer gothic poetry, she prefers poems about nature or the subject of choice. As far as people watching goes, she prefers to observe either children or older men.

Black: Doing things that are too inappropriate to discuss here.

I cant't find any picture of a rabbit standing upright from the front.

I'm going to try and draw it from a semi-front way (quarter?).

I'll make the claws visable. (I just got colored pencils, so I could color Monster... )

I love how I'm so ignored whenever I post in these threads. XD
