Irish Samurai vs. ?

I would like to challenge you IS. Ok, this will be my first battle so go easy one me. hehe


Battle Field: Lost Woods


"Where is he?" Lasur whispered to himself. "I told him to meet me around here."
Suddenly Lasur heard something moving in the bushes behind him, he turned around.

OoC: Don't worry, I am new too One rule, minimum 5 posts each, max 10.

IC: "So you showed up. Lasur, you shall be defeted. For the honor of the land of my fathers...I shall defeat you!" Patrick bows. With that he draws his sword. The glowing green shines as he lunges for the tree directly behind Lasur. Cutting it down with one blow, the tree lands directly on top of the Hylian.

OoC: I dunno what this OoC means but anyway, isn't 5 posts each too few? Or what? Please note this is my very first batle so if you feel there is too much thought in this post just tell me then i'll try and get a little more action into the next ones, hehe, oh yeah please give me some critisism, that's the only way to learn.

IC: Lasur managed to push himself out from under the tree, but the blow from the tree had had some effect on him, he felt exhausted in some way, he looked at his blade, and remembered what Kasata had told him: "If used in the right way this sword can give you back your strength." Lasur then flashed the blade up against the sun and he saw that it was glowing. He could now feel new power rushing through his veins.
In the meantime Patrick had already charged Lasur, but Lasur managed to blast him into a tree with a usefull spell Kasata had taught him.

OoC: OoC means Out of Character...IC: means in character. I said a minimum of 5 posts each and a max of ten each. That won't be to short...and this is my first major battle.

IC: Lasurs attack did truely hurt the Irish Samurai, but he stood up and said "With out that bohemith sword your as good as dead. Celtic Lightning Charge!!!" And at that moment, the once glowing green katana turned into a glowing yellow katana. Patrick charged towards Lasur with his sword ready for attack. Lasur blocked the charge as the Irish Samurai expected, and a great electric charge surged through Lasurs sword causing him to drop it in pain. It fell to Patrick's side but he kept his sword pointed at the swordless Lasur, making him back away from the sword that gave him life.

OoC: Even if you kill me in this fight, can i use my character in another fight later?

IC: "If...you're gonna kill me, why......why don't you kill me with my own sword, th....that would give you even more glory..." Lasur choked. Lasur had no more strength left and he could feel that without his sword right now he was nothing, that tree had really given him a fatal hit.

OoC: Yes, you can reuse him...I won't tell anyone. But still I won't kill you. Also, if you don't mind, I wan't to get rid of the mins and max rule...is that ok?

IC: "Do you take me for a fool. I know that anyone other than you who uses that cursed sword will be blown away," said the Irish Samurai with a smirk. "You can use your double swords. And with that said he started to fight him, sword against sword. The Irish Samurai Slashed. Lasur blocked. Lasur slashed. Irish Samurai Blocked. This continued for an hour.

OoC: Now i put in my profile that i can get strength from my sword when i touch it, it was stupid of me not to do that.

IC: "You're a tough challenger," said Lasur "and i admit, tougher than i expected. That tree surprised me but it makes no difference i'll defeat you now." And before The Irish Samurai could react Lasur had thrown a dagger at him, it was stuck in his right arm.

"Ouch that hurt. But not enough" At that moment The Irish pulled out the daggar and threw it way. He then lungd at Lasur with imense speed and chopped of his hand. "Now that...that might hurt too much"

Lasur knew this was his last chance, so he fought on with a rage and power never seen in this misty forest before. Lasur charged The Irish challenger with such force that when he blocked the hit his sword was thrown through the air and was stuck in the ground 20 feet away. Lasur cut off Patricks hand. "Now this will be an equal fight, pick up your sword and lets finish this."

"No healing till after the battles over! But you can use your large sword...but if you heal, I can heal myself too!" screamed Patrick. Lasur picked up his great sword. Both stood still ready to fight. "The battle is OVER! Celtic Fire Blast!" The bloody green katana burst out a giant fire heading directly towards Lasur. The flames hit him starting the straps of his armor on fire. When the great metal fell of the man the chain mail was holed from the several attacks. Some of the embers from the flames started tree after tree on fire. Lasur fell to the pain that seared through him.

OoC: Sorry about this rather stupid question but, fell can mean that i die and fell can mean that i simply fall over, in this case what do you mean? I guess you mean die right?

"It is up to your interpretation.

OoC: Ok.

IC: Lasur lay still, he could feel all his strength leaving him, and with that he passed out.

"The battle is over." Patrick took out two bottled red potions. Drinking one, he regained all of his strength, including his hand. The other he poured into Lasurs mouth. Regaining his hand as well his strength, he sat up to see The Irish Samurai walking out of the forest when he stopped. "Perhaps we shall meet again down the path of becoming a great warrior...now, young Lasur you must learn how to fight. Go to one of the training threads to continue your training. As for me, I shall do the same. Goodbye young Hylian."

Lasur now realised that it was foolish of him to overestimate his own powers, so he called after Patrick: "We'll meet again when i have improved my skills of fighting!" The Samurai had taught Lasur a lesson. "Next time it wont be so easy, hehe."
