Re: Bahamut vs. Ganon's Daughter
What a character. And at his young age. April snorted to herself. Impressive...very She lowered the sword to her leg and relaxed her pose.
“But no matter.” She said calmly.
Zohik twitched an eye as he also reclaimed a serene state. The pain of his hand was immense but he knew it would surpass quite quickly, but the disability of this hand may get in the way. I can defeat her.. if I think quick enough Zohik encouraged himself.
As a light breeze picked up the strands of tough grass that made the beach seem like green and yellow waves in a steady rhyme, there was only the sound of the waves crashing on each roll as they preceded onto the dark wet rocks that were scattered along the shore line. It was a beautiful setting April thought, for the first time with full appreciation, she scanned the surroundings. Her peace was broken from a slight impatient cough from Zohik, which she quickly glanced over at him.
“Oh.. I forgot you were here.” She laughed. She really didn’t, but the feeling of teasing him gave her a slight kick. Zohik wasn’t too pleased with the clear flame in his eyes that sparked towards her April. They both faced each other, the quiet surroundings made them both uneasy, either the seer unusual atmosphere or the pain that still lingered in their nervous system. Well I better make this fight a little more even. At that thought April instantly stabbed her sword into the thick sand by her feet. The blade bounced back and forth until stopping standing vertical beside her. April looked at her silver blade as it occasionally caught the sun’s rays and made it twinkle before returning her eyes to Zohik.
“You’re not using your sword April?” Zohik confirmed So what is she going to use if she has no sword, sorcery?
“I may use it later, don’t you worry.” April smiled. Zohik returned the grin and commenced into his combat stance steady on the dry dust. April also prepared herself, with her body balanced over her pelvis and palms placed neatly together in front of her upper chest. April’s disadvantage of any kind of combat is not her ability, but her clothing. Her medieval,. dress though very beautiful, was a pest for getting out of tight corners. Although, her dress did allowed needed air onto her hot and sticky legs due to the sweat and strong humidity. Silence again fell over them like the soft wind gently passing over their collecting bodies.
They both flung themselves at each other with such a get force that the sand underneath them burst apart into the surrounding area from the physical contact that they embraced together. The speed was so exciting that the adrenaline in April’s blood was pounding through her arteries. Each high kick and every jab was a trill for her, she also saw it was the same for Zohik too. He must be enjoying this just as much as I am. April observed.
The defending and offending continued along the vast strip of beach jumping over shells, dead coconuts, broken logs, scattered rocks and finally they slower the pace over hard rock covered with seaweed and random clear rock pools.
Zohik was in control attacking April with a passion behind each and every throw of his fist and lift of his leg. April dodged and blocked the majority of his technique but she was growing tired. Her body was finding it hard to keep up with this young boy’s pulse. She had to find a way. She carried on waiting for the right moment searching an opening of his movement.
However, what April didn’t notice was that she was losing ground even on this solid platform. With each pushing assault she was backed onto the edge of a deep and large pool. Zohik had planed this as he was in a perfect view for looking pass her shoulder even while he persuaded her. April’s heel touched the warm water surface that gave her such a shock she twisted her head, straining her eyes to see what she came across. This was a very good opportunity for Zohik, which he plotted to take easily. He thrust his clenched fist into her vulnerable stomach sending a sickly pain through April’s lungs. April fell backwards before being grabbed by Zohik’s extended arm and tossed violently into the hard, rough rock. The impact slammed against the side of April’s head that transmitted extreme torture into her brain leaving her dizzy and dented.
Even with this damage, she still had the instant ability to counter attack. Temporally blinded she was able to lift herself quickly off the ground with one leg curled into her chest and throwing her strongest leg to pass through Zohik’s knees. Her aim missed her specific target. It came across Zohik’s calves. It was good enough to hurl Zohik‘s body into the air. Simultaneously, she proceeded the charge by using her squad knee as a thrust, springing onto her lowering foot. She used this very useful technique to pick up speed and strength in a cramp situation. April’s body swung round to the floating Zohik. Her raised foot dug into his cracking ribs, followed with the sound of Zohik’s body finally hammering into the dented rock
April stumbled over her feet falling back nearly into the simmering water. Her butt didn’t do much to cushion her fall against the solid rock, but she wasn’t concerned about her backside. April raised her hand, which she could barely see, onto her head and felt the massive bump that had swollen and was tender to touch even with her fingertips. Closing her eyes she clung to her boiling stomach. Feeling every wheeze of her lungs breathing and the banging of her sore heart. Again the touch of her clumsy hands upon it hurt her.
“Cracked ribs probably” April spoke to herself.
She looked over to Zohik, who had slightly moved from his position, was now leaning on his bruised elbows with his sweat drenched hair covering his face. and his expression.
OoC:: I don't think I'm that good, just take a VERY long time to reply.
