Re: Bahamut vs. Ganon's Daughter

After days of wandering, training and just being plain bored April stumbled upon the edge of the Kingdom. The salty air flooded her nose and softly touched her tired cheeks. As the blowing breeze caught on the small threads of her fair hair April extended her arms out to the side sighing happily at the grand sight that stood before her.

The shore was fledged with palm large trees. These stood or leaned against the blazing light from the noon sky, with their green feathers a hundred feet up in the air. She made her way forward onto the white sand bank covered with coarse grass, torn in different places with an upturned palm tree laying on it’s side and decaying coco-nuts, with a number of fruit, scattered around it. April stood, placing her hand on the grey trunk, as she screwed up her eyes into the shimmering water of blues and greens, and further beyond that, lay the dark blue sea. Broken from the seer beauty of the mysterious water, she climbed upon one of the fallen timbers and lay her body under the green light, which shone through the floating leaves.

She tilted her head to scan the beach. Far as her eyes could see was the continuous pattern of tree trunks sleeping maybe cracked once or twice by the creeping grass from the higher grounds or the depth of a colourful rock pool due to the low tide. Returning back to her view of the rich blue of the cloudless sky, she begun to feel the warmth of the sun. The rhymed timing of the crashing waves and the peace of the birds chirping made her drossy. Letting her body flop on the hard, but strangely comfortable, perch of the tree her head was again on its side. Her view became darker and darker as her eyelids were heavy. Her sight was catching on a few things allowed by her half shut pupils; the sparkling sand grains underneath her bed, the gentle swaying of the wild grass patched along the banks; and a moving figure out in the distance of the shore.

April mind had a jump-start, carefully she studied this blob on the horizon to make sure her eyes didn’t discive her as a mirage. No matter how long she watched the blurred image she still wasn’t sure if it was real.
“Well I better prepare myself for the worse.” She stretched.

Picking her body up she leant on a branch coming out of the tree to uphold her upper body position waiting for this arrival, her sword in ready.

Re: Bahamut vs. Ganon's Daughter

The heat raised from the ground making the air swavy as Zohik walked slowly across the sand cover ground. April waited looking and wondering what was in the distance. Zohik quickly dashed forward leaving sand to fly behind his heals. He was quick and reached his target with ease. The shock of sand hit April as Zohik stopped suddenly letting the sand fly up.
"Who are you." April asked as he dusted off her clothing. Zohik just stood there adjusting something. In this adjustment he took of his armor layer and set it in the golden sand.
"I'm Zohik, and yes I know your name April. I'm here to test myself in skill since I've heard of your skills. But remember that this will test you as well. The one who is beaten will be taken and the one who wins will live yet I must ask of the fight." Zohik said as he took of the weighted clothing on his legs and set them next to his armor.
"I will except, but you must be ready now lets go" She said while thinking "Wow, this is kind of sudden." After standing up Zohik smiled and drew his sword. April drew her weapon as well and the went into their stances ready to fight.
"Now lets see who will not be taken." Zohik said as he tilted his sword and suddenly dashed towards April. She moved out of the way with ease and grace. Zohik was stunned as the feeling of a slash formed on his back. It was not yet even ten seconds into the game and he had been wounded. He knew he would have to give it all he had for this fight and the hot earth beneath his feet would not help in his time of troubles.
"Now are you ready?" She asked as Zohik stood slowly aware of the gash along his back.
"Yes, I am." He said almost getting mad but held in his anger trying to be a come one. They drew deep breaths and the fight comenced.

Re: Bahamut vs. Ganon's Daughter

April’s feet twisted in the top layer of soft sand as she brought her sword across her face, her eyes in tense staring into Zohik‘s, and gradually extending it at arm’s length from her shoulder line. The heat of the beach still shone with an almost threatening presence that surrounded the fighters in their dual. April didn’t mind, she was used to this climate; the dense air that filled her lungs. She just wasn’t too sure about her challenger, this stranger out of the blue, who is already wounded by a single shot. However, While April raiding through her thoughts, Zohik had edged menacingly closer, making way for his attack. She lifted her mind onto more important things, which happens to be slowly but surely ready to pounce upon her.

Zohik charged to her, making sure he had learned his mistake of taking her too lightly, and thrust his sword forward slicing through the air to his expected target. April stepped to the side avoiding Zohik sharp, and of course, dangerous sword. Zohik quickly glided his sword to slash April’s opening that was merely several inches away. Immediately with her fast reaction, she turned to face the side of the blade pulling her hand quickly upwards. The two swords met. The sound of metal grinding and scraping was heard in their ears. They grasped their instruments tightly as their fingers and knuckles turned white as the sand. April grunted to keep her balance, but Zohik, being a male, was too strong for her to continue to handle. She bent down slightly and sprung back onto the more grassy area of the setting. Her arms ached due the seer compression of muscle cramps that surged.
Hmm... He is a better swordsman than me, so wha....
April’s thoughts were cut short as Zohik made his attack again by challenging another sword lock with her. He knew she was weak against his strength... this was an obvious advantage. April struggled to uphold her sword above her shoulders even with both hands on this silver hilt. She closed her eyes to focus on her disability. Only the metal that sparked and glistened above them separated their bodies. April slowly opened her eyes to find in shock that Zohik was staring right at her, his face was tight with concentration but he manage to dig up a smile to simply mock her.
"This will be fun." Zohik snorted as he still held his position.
April knew that something was going to happen that she would regret. Zohik suddenly drags down his blade as he strides to the side, thus quickly forcing the large hilt of his sword into the April‘s face.

Blood gusted out of her nose like a burst pipe, completely soaking her clothes... But Zohik wasn’t done yet. He backed tracked to swing a mighty kick aimed to her side. She didn’t have much defence, as both her hands were covering her injury, and she had no clear sight due to the water that smothered her eyelids. The force of the kick pushed her into the nearby palm tree hitting it with a great thud. April’s body grabbed the cold, rough branches as the taste of blood circulated her mouth and tongue. The sting in her eyes had left as she slowly turned around, still against her support that now was stained red, she smiled evilly.
“Heh.” She chuckled. “I commend you for that swift attack, but you are really going to have to work harder against me now.” She licked her blood-covered lips. “You are a good swordsman...” She paused. “However... that is not good enough.” She stood up quite straight even with the bruising to her ribs, and with a slightly lowered head; she glared at Zohik through small strands of her golden hair. A cheeky grin had grown on her mouth as she tilted her head and wiped away the dried blood. A flock of birds cried above them, scattering away into the blue distance ... as though they were afraid...

Re: Bahamut vs. Ganon's Daughter

Ooc: Your a very good RPGer, I admit I will probably loose.

IC: Zohik took his sword hands dripping with swet and stabbed it in the ground next to him. "I am not one to use such a thing that is of no use now. Let's see what happens next." He said with a grin. A smile formed quickly on April's face. The sun scortched the sand making it burn with incredible heat and the warrior's lunges take deeper pulls towards the air. Zohik grabbed the remaining weights from his body and threw them to the ground. His body was open to any weapon and with no armor he would be destroyed normally. He has white paints but nothing more. The weights on his arms were all off and he was ready to give all his power. Time was of no concern now and the fighters gave each other powerful glares. "Now then, I'm ready. Come."

April dashed swiftly towards Zohik, coming out of the shade of the trees and was hit strongly by the heat of the sun. Her blade came down with incredible force and energy. Zohik pushed out his hand and clutched the steel blade. He caught the blade by going the force and pulled his hands down with the attack pulling up when the force had weakened. He quickly slid his hands up the blade and pushed it in hitting hewr in the stomach and then thrusting it upwards, hitting her in the chin. He jumped around her and landed close to the shade of the palm tree.

"That was something.......... I didn't expect from you...." April said as he struggled up her blade once more. Swet filled Zohik's face, his hands burning from counter. The swet was dried with a strong gust of wind that came from the sea. Suddenly Zohik jumped off the ground and dashed towards April. His fist went up for a upper cut punch but time stopped as his mind flew to know what was going to happen next. His eyes stood still as he knew his mistake was one of great amount. April's had jumped back and came down with her blade. The sharp and honed edge came down in between his center nuckles. The wound cam down half way through his palm. The pain would have been even greater if the opponent he was against had been a male warrior. He pulled away quickly and squeezed his hand together trying to stop the gushing blood. She had truely out smarted him this time and it gave her a great advantage.

"Ughhhhh.......Iiiiihhhhhh.......Pain......is funny if.....you think......about what it.......does to your....nerves." he struggled out with sparring words. He quickly struck his hand towards the sky and started to whisper words. April noticed this technique from fights that she had heard about him. The healing technique "Damaru Chikara." She dashed forward swang her sword with all her strength but Zohik bent back and the sword which was aimed towards his stomach wisked by above his stomach and chest. The skin on his hand closed up but he had not even close to enough power to heal the bleeding muscles inside. A scar was left after and he rolled backwards dodging yet another attack from April. his bones had been seperated and he would not be able to use his left hand for the remainer of the battle. He wipped up his head and glaed at April who stared back into his eyes with a tinkle of anger in her own.

Re: Bahamut vs. Ganon's Daughter

What a character. And at his young age. April snorted to herself. Impressive...very She lowered the sword to her leg and relaxed her pose.
“But no matter.” She said calmly.
Zohik twitched an eye as he also reclaimed a serene state. The pain of his hand was immense but he knew it would surpass quite quickly, but the disability of this hand may get in the way. I can defeat her.. if I think quick enough Zohik encouraged himself.
As a light breeze picked up the strands of tough grass that made the beach seem like green and yellow waves in a steady rhyme, there was only the sound of the waves crashing on each roll as they preceded onto the dark wet rocks that were scattered along the shore line. It was a beautiful setting April thought, for the first time with full appreciation, she scanned the surroundings. Her peace was broken from a slight impatient cough from Zohik, which she quickly glanced over at him.
“Oh.. I forgot you were here.” She laughed. She really didn’t, but the feeling of teasing him gave her a slight kick. Zohik wasn’t too pleased with the clear flame in his eyes that sparked towards her April. They both faced each other, the quiet surroundings made them both uneasy, either the seer unusual atmosphere or the pain that still lingered in their nervous system. Well I better make this fight a little more even. At that thought April instantly stabbed her sword into the thick sand by her feet. The blade bounced back and forth until stopping standing vertical beside her. April looked at her silver blade as it occasionally caught the sun’s rays and made it twinkle before returning her eyes to Zohik.
“You’re not using your sword April?” Zohik confirmed So what is she going to use if she has no sword, sorcery?
“I may use it later, don’t you worry.” April smiled. Zohik returned the grin and commenced into his combat stance steady on the dry dust. April also prepared herself, with her body balanced over her pelvis and palms placed neatly together in front of her upper chest. April’s disadvantage of any kind of combat is not her ability, but her clothing. Her medieval,. dress though very beautiful, was a pest for getting out of tight corners. Although, her dress did allowed needed air onto her hot and sticky legs due to the sweat and strong humidity. Silence again fell over them like the soft wind gently passing over their collecting bodies.

They both flung themselves at each other with such a get force that the sand underneath them burst apart into the surrounding area from the physical contact that they embraced together. The speed was so exciting that the adrenaline in April’s blood was pounding through her arteries. Each high kick and every jab was a trill for her, she also saw it was the same for Zohik too. He must be enjoying this just as much as I am. April observed.
The defending and offending continued along the vast strip of beach jumping over shells, dead coconuts, broken logs, scattered rocks and finally they slower the pace over hard rock covered with seaweed and random clear rock pools.

Zohik was in control attacking April with a passion behind each and every throw of his fist and lift of his leg. April dodged and blocked the majority of his technique but she was growing tired. Her body was finding it hard to keep up with this young boy’s pulse. She had to find a way. She carried on waiting for the right moment searching an opening of his movement.

However, what April didn’t notice was that she was losing ground even on this solid platform. With each pushing assault she was backed onto the edge of a deep and large pool. Zohik had planed this as he was in a perfect view for looking pass her shoulder even while he persuaded her. April’s heel touched the warm water surface that gave her such a shock she twisted her head, straining her eyes to see what she came across. This was a very good opportunity for Zohik, which he plotted to take easily. He thrust his clenched fist into her vulnerable stomach sending a sickly pain through April’s lungs. April fell backwards before being grabbed by Zohik’s extended arm and tossed violently into the hard, rough rock. The impact slammed against the side of April’s head that transmitted extreme torture into her brain leaving her dizzy and dented.

Even with this damage, she still had the instant ability to counter attack. Temporally blinded she was able to lift herself quickly off the ground with one leg curled into her chest and throwing her strongest leg to pass through Zohik’s knees. Her aim missed her specific target. It came across Zohik’s calves. It was good enough to hurl Zohik‘s body into the air. Simultaneously, she proceeded the charge by using her squad knee as a thrust, springing onto her lowering foot. She used this very useful technique to pick up speed and strength in a cramp situation. April’s body swung round to the floating Zohik. Her raised foot dug into his cracking ribs, followed with the sound of Zohik’s body finally hammering into the dented rock

April stumbled over her feet falling back nearly into the simmering water. Her butt didn’t do much to cushion her fall against the solid rock, but she wasn’t concerned about her backside. April raised her hand, which she could barely see, onto her head and felt the massive bump that had swollen and was tender to touch even with her fingertips. Closing her eyes she clung to her boiling stomach. Feeling every wheeze of her lungs breathing and the banging of her sore heart. Again the touch of her clumsy hands upon it hurt her.
“Cracked ribs probably” April spoke to herself.
She looked over to Zohik, who had slightly moved from his position, was now leaning on his bruised elbows with his sweat drenched hair covering his face. and his expression.

OoC:: I don't think I'm that good, just take a VERY long time to reply.

Re: Bahamut vs. Ganon's Daughter

Zohik slowly went over to April. The look of her eyes showed that she was in pain. Briuses and rips in her skin were shown well and she struggled on her feet. Zohik was in an amount of pain that was bareable ofr even the weakest of opponents but April had enjured alot. "So I have come to an atvantage in our fight. You are hiding something and I've come to notice you don't want to reveal it. If you won't reveal one of your hidden skills then I will reveal one of mine. ..........Ziton......." He whispered after speaking with her. The wind picked up and Zohik's eyes went a deep emerald. He thought he had enough time to do such an attack but April saw his eyes go form the world and she took the time to jump forward and punch Zohik right in the chin. He flew back and landed on his head, hard. The move had been stopped April thought but Zohik had let go of his energy before being hit and April felt something seek into her body. She suddenly went black in the eyes and swayed back and forth trying to keep balance. She felt tramendous pain in her stomach but after an amount that seemed only of seconds it felt better then ever. Yet something felt too full in her body. As if an object had been put inside of her. The bump on her head was gone and all of her briuses had disappeared. What had happened?

Zohik struggled to his feet and put a hand on his neck twisting is back and forth trying to make it crack. "Very good. Now I can have more fun and you can have more pain. You feel good in nerves but There is a sword in you flesh. A sword made completely of my energy. You see, when you punched me I was planning to use my energy in a punch, sword attack. Ziton is an energy sword made completely of my energy. Now whenever I punch or kick you it will hurt five times as much but the appearance of the attack won't." Zohik said almost loosing his breath with the last sentence. He smiled, " you might not approve of me healing you but I wasn't completely."

Rage filled inside of April and just then something happened that Zohik didn't expect. She dashed at him without a word and with all of the strength given back, complete energy flew with one incredible punch. Power screamed through Zohik's mouth. April's fist made its way straight through Zohik's flesh and blood covered the ground and her hand. he tumbled back doing rolls over the hot beach floor. He opened his eyes only to see a blur from the water tears around the corners of his eyes. Pain swulled up in him as much as rage did. His body went as tense as a rock and he stood, his mind oblivios to the pain. A slight tare ran down his gut and upper stomach. he felt the blood with his unmoveable hand and felt the warmth fill inside of him. A mighty amount of blood had been spilt this time and he would have to repay the kind touch of power. Enounic would have been used that very second if it had not been for April's fast movements. She had dashed quickly over to Zohik and threw many punches. Every one was delt over with a counter. Zohik finally laid a puch and the hit screamed with pain for April. Zohik's tenseness and anger had given him much strength but the attack she had given him had taken alot away. At full power she thought of what a move like this would have done to her. Spit spun everywhere as April's body curved around Zohik's arm. She was sent about five feet away and landed hard on a smooth stone. She spit to the side of herself breathing hard as did Zohik. A large crab pintched her clothing and she took it in her hands smashing it with pure force having it's flesh ooze around her fingers. She stood slowly, swaying and trying to keep her balance.

"It seems neither of us will give up now doesn't it?" Zohik said as he noticed his pants had become red with blood. Crimson blood flowed from his open wound and he held it just noticing the pain once more.

"Yes I believe you are right. Quite a seech ypou gave back there. Now do you think we can start again? This time with all our strength." April said as she took a stance slowly for the pain in her chest grew stronger. What might become of her? Zohik had a disatvantage as did she but it almost seemed as if Zohik was loosing.
