Ah~ Well, THAT is really interesting. I still think that I'd love to be there to hear something like that, even if it might send me into a mad panic. Or not. You never know with me.

Sirens are no fun. Do yours also have a spoken announcement that goes with them? The ones where my family lives in Alabama do. XD And you can never understand them. It sounds like the teacher off Charlie Brown. For example, the sirens will go off, and you'll hear something like this very, very clearly:

"This is a severe weather announcement. The following instructions are a matter of life and death. If you fail to hear these crucial instructions, you will die: *voice suddenly becomes muffled, like the Charlie Brown teacher* This has been a severe weather announcement. We hope you heard the instructions which are designed for your utmost safety in this matter. We will repeat them at this time: *voice becomes muffled again* Please follow these instructions to the letter. Thank you."

Wait... I'm lost. What question? I looked over this and the last page and I can't see anything. I would have answered it because I'm bored and in the need of a CJ boost (if it were character related).

^^ That's the question I asked that a lot of people answered, thus instigating my current feelings of being loved. ^_^

Having head lice sucks, but I might not have to go to school tomorrow. So now I hope I have more lice instead of the one louse, that way I can stay home. SCHOOL=;_; STAYING AT HOME=^_____________^

I have proved it with math!

I could have sworn I've answered that question before...but I guess I'll say my short answer again.

As a kid, I was always a fan of a certain made-up character that would never get out of my head. When I saw the BA, I saw a chance to bring him almost to so-called 'life'. I also saw it as a chance to get better at writing, so why not? =D

Re: Out of Character Thread: The legacy of Blargly and Flargly lives on.

I have never witnessed a tornado siren in real life. They don't exist around here.

We get the "NEE NER NEE NER" noise on the radio and TV, though.

I think I just saw the battle arena and was like... "LOL I MAKE LAME CHARACTER AND PWNZ TEH NOOBS FTW!!!1"

Seriously though, it was something like that. xD I thought it sounded cool making your own character, even though I was a horrible writer. I thought it was going to be something like a game, like how RPG games are. I... really didn't know what I was getting into.

So when I made a character, my writing skill was nil, so I decided to puke up Dedgoroth on the spot so I'd have someone to mess around with. He sucked, but it got my used to how the BA worked. The Battle Arena greatly improved my writing ability... well... scratch that. The BA has MADE my writing ability. If it weren't for the Amphitheatre, I probably wouldn't be writing anything for fun. I'd probably still think of writing as a boring medium with which I'd have no desire to take part in.

So... thanks BA, I like to write now.

...Wait, they actually say it's a matter of life or death? Talk about a great way to really make people panic.
