As a character, I love Monroe; yet as a person, I'd hate him. I haven't really seen that much of Zachary, but Monroe seems like a better character to me.

Well, let's see...Monroe is pretty awesome--he's tech. based, like Batman, sorta. Zachary...I haven't had much interaction with him, but from what I know already, if I had to choose which one I like less...it would be Zach.

Z, don't you dare kill Monroe off. Him and Heishuro have potential for a nice little rivalry. It's a probably a little early to say that, but What Was Coming to Them could spark something.

Fire...hmmm...Tonfa maybe...but that would be hard to use.

Water...a flail...morning star...It's hard most of the weapon types are already taken.

Long bow sounds good...but I think a cross bow would owrk better for most combate situations.

-Tera already has a staff, so I may as well let her keep it.

For water, give her a small scimitar like blade attached to a longish leather cord that she holds, and spins the daggers around constantly to attack. Like whirlpools =] or propellers...

Also, I like the shield idea. You might want to come up with some other defensive weapon for something else if your worried about "Balance." Or you got the staff. Staffs are very defensive based.

-Nice idea, but it's... how do I put this? A real person would have difficulty using a weapon in that manner, and I don't want any of the aspects to need to use their abilities to use their basic weapon.

-I realized that the staff is defensive, and taking this into account with a defensive Water weapon, I'd need one more defensive weapon; that would make half of the characters defensive, and half offensive.

-Raven could always use Sai's. Give her three, that the usual amount, and technically they are sort of defensive weapons because they are used to disarm opponents, as well as attack.

Hmmm...I might be out of ideas ;_;

Crossbow/normal bow with elemental magic arrows! That way, there's hardly any reload time :3 OR the weapons themselves could be made up of...whatever element.

Random idea. XD

A sphere of whatever element. By concentrating on it, she can shape it into weapons and/or fire projectiles from it. The sphere itself is controlled completely by her mind, so it can levitate around her and morph into a shield to protect her from attacks, etc etc blahblahblah.

I'm not positive, but I'm fairly sure he was looking for a regular weapon to go along with magical attacks...

^ If that is the case, there is the possibility of a repeating crossbow...those can fire off bolts at a much faster rate.

That is the basic concept...but Van Helsing's crossbow is entirely unfeasible. An actual repeating crossbow fires of around 10 bolts in 15 seconds, then requires reloading. Van Helsing's crossbow is an engineering impossibility.
