Deceptive Silence (Anyone)

OoC: This is my first battle, so, yeah. I will be using Rethir Longslash-Link in my sig

BiC: Rethir leaned against the tree. He took stock of his surroundings. He was leaning against a tree, with a river to his left, and a large clearing to his right. The forest he was in was quiet. Too quiet. He knew that there must be some creatures in the forest, but there wer no sounds at all. He was getting uneasy. Ever since he had decided to take a break from his swim in the river, his sense of unease grew, until at last he could take the silence no more. He pulled out his fishbone guitar, and strummed a few notes, hoping the forest would come alive suddenly.

BiC:

Pa tum... Pa tum...

Her ethereal fingers tapped in a fixed melody against the oaken table top, almost mind numbing; she sat there transfixed on the weave motions they made.

Various, soft spoken conversations emitted throughout the ale house, all caught up in thier own subjects. Bijou sat alone, as per usual, with a mug of ale in front of her; she mostly just traced her finger around the rim, tiny fingers playing squeaky sounds. She was bored, and needed a quick solution.

She finally woke up, breaking away from the constraints inwhich space grasped her with, and she turned her head, looking about the bar. She got up, stretched her limbs and started for the door. The darkness outside was the only thing to greet her, and despite the feeble aurora that the street lights cried out, the darkness still choked you as you stepped out into the innermost of it.

It's nothing Bijou isn't used to.

Hands stuffed into her pockets, and her head down swaying in thought, Bijou continued on. The moon was ahead, brillant in it's glow, and seemed to smile down at Bijou as she walked along the dusty road - after all, they were the best of friends, and the moon greeted her by shining warmth into her face, glinting her eyes.

As she walked along her hands started to tinkle, and she clenched her fists in reponse. They missed clasping around a sword's handle, the fingers intertwined as she drove it down in a forceful last attempt to claim victory. The sounds of bows snapping and metal clashing seemed unfimilar to her all the more; her soul cried for what it was deprieved of.

Forest crowded around her as she made her way into the green abode, no sounds perked her ears, but as she dove in deeper, a sweet plucking of nylon strings set her off into a world filled with spring time sonatas, and awakened medleys. Her mind sung as she ventured on, and her throat fluctucated as it arouse to hum the tune. The music got louder and sweeter as she gained distance until soon her eyes fell upon a figure in the distance.

The moon bestowed it's richest beams unto the musicain as he plucked away. His fingers moved with flowing vibrance. Small water drops glistened on his skin, giving the motion that he just came in from a swim.

Bijou stood bewitched, half hidden by a grand tree truck, watching the man play his instrument.

OoC: Rethir's a Zora, and he plays a fishbone guitar, similar to Zora Link's in MM

BiC: Rethir thought he saw a shadow move among the trees. He put down his guitar, and drew his sword, which extended to it's full seven feet. "Who's there?" he called, growing more and more apprehensive with each step he took forward. There was no reply to his call, and as he walked under the cover of the trees, he breifly wondered if this was smart.

All of a sudden, a Hylian dropped out of the tree and landed behind him. Her arm shot around his neck and her hand covered his mouth. "What are you doing here?" she whispered. Rethir electrified his body, and she let go instinctivley. "I was taking a swim, and thought I'd take a break. What are you doing, attacking an innocent passerby?"

OoC: Quick rule reminder, I don't think you're allowed to control the other members character, but I could be wrong. Doesn't matter though, it all works out.


Bijou felt Rethir's throat tighten has her arm wrapped securely around his neck. His skin flet weird. Slimy, almost. It was dark, and upon his discovery that someone was here, the moon moved on, finding someone esle to share it's light with. The vibrant sounds which colorfully danced around in Bijou's head were now benumbing. She wished he would've stayed, plucking the strings, creating music.

"You're the one that attacked me!" She hissed offensively, she violently pushed him away from her, her hands slipping on slimy back muscles. Her face contorted as the feeling of it, "What is on you?"

The moon rays bounced off the stirring water in the lake, giving her a glance at her 'enemy', if you will. He was a blend of light blue colours, Bijou would've thought it beautiful if it wasn't for the way the man confronted her.

"What are you?"

"I am a Zora. My name is Rethir. I wasn't going to hurt you, but the forest is so quiet. It has me more that a little weirded out."
"So you noticed too, huh? I don't really know what's going on and I..."
There was a low rumbling in the distance that cut the woman off.. "At last," Rethir looked relieved, "Some natual noise, even if it is thunder."
The Hylian was dazed. Almost petrified.
"That's not natural." she lifted her finger, and Rethir followed her hand and gaze. There was a huge wall of pitch black clouds blowing toward them. Purple lightning rained down from within.
"No, that's not natural at all." agreed Rethir

OoC: Sorry, I know it's short.

Bijou's heart stopped momentairly, as the bubbling sillouhette made it's way towards them, crashing through the woods, ripping trees from roots, and making sounds that sounded like something was dying.

"Quick!" Bijou snapped, "Run!"

She grabbed Rethir by the arm, and dashed to meet her match.

"Can you fight?" Bijou asked, glancing back at him. She took notice of the confidence expressed in his face and asked nothing further, "Very well."

She stopped suddenly, drew out her sword, swallowing hard, "Are you prepared for battle?"

"But of course," came the reply. Bijou was surprised when a seven foot blade sprung forth from the four foot sheath on the fish-man's back.
"I just wish I knew how to fight a storm." As if in response to Rethir's comment, the storm swirled into a spiral, compacting into a humanoid form. The beast was nine feet tall, and was seemingly made out of clouds. Eyes the same color as the lightning stared at them from an otherwise facelss head.
"Prepare to die!" When the thing spoke, it sounded as if thunder had issued from it's mouth. Rethir wordlessly rushed the thing, and before the Zora even got within ten feet of the thing, lightning arced from its eyes, across the air, and into Rethir, who was thrown backwards by the force of the shock.
