Godless (Any other 1 or 2 people)

Ooc: I'll be using Euryuli (see pg 77 in character list if interested) who's attempting to enhance her powers past their limit by siphoning psychic energy from holy artifacts in a large cathedral. So any opponents with religious relations would probably want to stop her.

Be kind, it's my first try at this!

The midnight rain beat against the mightly cathedral's stained glass panes as Euryuli dropped dead the nun guarding the reliquary chamber. Inside, standing atop a draped pedestal was an ornate golden chalice. Euryuli was not interested in it's monetary value however, she was no meer thief. Holding out her arms a flood of orange energy burst forth from it, allowing the Faerie to drink deep.

After several moments, there was a barely noticable footstep in the main cathedral. Euryuli stopped immeadiatly, spinning round in indignation. Who dared intrude?

BiC: It was well past midnight when Rudo got to the cathedral, and the rain beat down on him and his beautifully adorned clothing like a torrent of hate and despair. He had come because he was always on the lookout for things that might make his wine taste better, and a deeply religious goblet sounded quite interesting. Upon getting to the cathedral he heard yells and distant screaming from inside.

"Guh, why is it me who always gets stuck in these messes, for once cant something be easy." Complained Rudo

"But lord I thought you enjoyed killing and toying with people?" Said His Hawk

"Oh don't get me wrong, I love too, its just that i really hate having to fight people who can never beat me, why do i have to be immortal?" Sulked Rudo

"who cares, lets go see whats happening inside."

Once he entered the cathedral he saw several nuns and priests were massacred inside, seemingly all done by a knife of some sort. He walked through the bending halls, following the corpses that scattered the cathedral. At the last body he found a strange room, and inside this strange room was a strange girl with black hair that was considerably taller than he was.

"Oi what are you little lady, the air around you cackles from power, but to me you seem a weak human wench?"

He took from his back the lyre from his back and prepared to battle, whoever this woman was she was not a human girl as she apeared.

Faite watched all of this with mild surprise from the shadows of the room.

"Danm, why can't this ever be easy?" Faite barley whispered to Night, watching the new figure pull out his weapon, circled behind him so he wouldn't be in the way if they decided to have a fight.


Rain was pounding on the roof so Faite couldn't hear whatt the man said to the seemingly feeble girl. Faite then walked out of the shadows. "Oi, what are you doing in here?" He asked in a mock worried voicce, he had donned the robe of one of the priests which had hid his weapons well. Night stayed in the shadows.

Ooc: Can't find your character in link posted in sig DemonKing, could you re-direct me elsewhere?

Euryuli, alerted to the presence of the other intruder, cocked her head sharply to face him, grinning.
"Don't think you can pass yourself off as one of these pitiful monks, dwarf. Show your cowardly self to me." She turned back to the first figure again, slowly sliding her curved knife out from behind her back, deep red energy seething from it.

"And you, there is something different about you. Different to the normal impudent weaklings I waste my time upon." She smiled, her golden-orange eyes blazing. "I am certainly going to have fun destroying the both of you." Suddenly clicking her fingers, a pair of pulsing spheres of fire, about ten inches wide appeared around her empty hand, swirling round her arm.
"Let us see how you deal with these!" She bellowed, launching them at her adversaries.

Right when he was about to slaughter the woman a strange (But freaking hilarious) humanoid being stepped into the room. The reason to his freaking hilarious nature were the monks robes he wore, making him look like a friar with a with a large unnerving battle Axe, and a sword.

"Gahahaha," laughed Sagreas, "what are you supposed to be, the abbeys mascot or something?"
And with that remark both Rudo and Sagreas burst into laughter.

Then the elfish, humanish woman thing spoke.

"Don't think you can pass yourself off as one of these pitiful monks, dwarf. Show your cowardly self to me."

Then she turned to Rudo, and a strange mix of interest, and a strange seething emotion he had never encountered before played over her eyes. Then she started again

"And you, there is something different about you. Different to the normal impudent weaklings I waste my time upon." She smiled, her golden-orange eyes blazing. "I am certainly going to have fun destroying the both of you."

With that she created two balls of fire in her hands and fired one at ether intruder. The blast missed the dwarf as he barley dodged. Then Rudo took the fires sizzling noise and made the room silenced, then he molded the sound into one of his servitors.

The servitor seeing the fire hurling at Rudo quickly jumped into the flame. When the smoke cleared Rudo was sitting down once again quarreling with his lifelong companion (really having a life long companion when you live forever gets quite bothersome). When he noticed she was looking at him he said.

"ugh, what a pity, and here i was looking for a good fight, but all you have are fireballs, you will have to do better than that my dear."

With his taunt spoken he sat down and started to play, in the beautiful sound of the lyre was deception, and he began to bend the reality of the room with his illusions. The roof of the room seemed to disappear and the walls started to spin, and with his spell cast he stopped playing and slung the lyre on his back.

"I have just played the Melodie of confusion, how do you like it, going insane yet, well you will."

Next he rested up on one of the pillars he was next to and waited for one of them to attack.

OoC: BTW Mr. J where is your story, can you get me the address

Ooc: I will ignore Faite's presence until he posts again.

As the walls of reality began to twist, Euryuli winced. The bizzare man's music distorting the world around her.

"I have just played the Melodie of Confusion, how do you like it, going insane yet, well you will." He said as he sat arrogantly atop one of the pillars.

"Know you nothing of me? Insanity is my very being!" Euryuli laughed, slowly shaking away the swirling hell around her. Her eyes snapping back open, she sent a vast telekinetic surge at the stranger, he dodged but it hit the pillar, shattering it to a pile of rubble.

"I am of Leviitha. World of Shadows and Discord. No magic like this will keep me occupied for long. Hiding behind your musical instrument, it's pathetic! Come and fight me like a real man, or are you too scared?" She jeered, pointing her dagger towards him.

"I really dont think you know what your up against my dear, you defiantly do not want me to fight, injure me, torture me, destroy me, I WONT DIE!!!" Screamed Rudo, at the top of his lungs, "But since you apparently want to die ill grant your wish, here i come."

Rudo jumped off the pillar, and in a flash of green light there he was holding a dagger that looked exactly like the woman's. In fact it looked exactly like the womans except for the fact of it being a deep green color. He then ran, and with an extremely surprising speed lunged at the womans throat. She dodged, but the blade skimmed her cheek, from which a single drop of blood came through.

"Curses, i figured i had you there, well for just a bit more fun heres another song."
Rudo unslung his lyre and started to play in what seemed like seconds. This Melodie was different, the spinning of the walls did increase, however the floor also vanished (the floor is still there, you can still stand) and a deep nothingness peered up from the (apparent, remember this is all an illusion) abyss. Then playing one last note he himself vanished.

"How do you like me now, how can you hit what can not be seen." Said Rudo, toying with the girl.

Then he took the noise of his breathing, and the sound of his footsteps (making it harder to detect him) and turned that into 4 fawnlings. The fawnlings then charged at the girl, the blades in there lyres unsheathed.

"You send children to do your dirty work? You're more of a coward than I first thought!" Euryuli exclaimed as the quartet of fawnlings advanced on her.

The first jumped towards her, but she; smiling let it just fall onto her dagger. Swinging the carcass aside she activated an almost transperent dome around herself as a pair of fawnlings attacked together. Their blades bent against the strength of the sheild and as Euryuli dispelled it, it sent a wave of energy outwards, sending the diminutive warriors flying.

The final one, brave until the end attempted to stab at Euryuli's legs, to immoblise her. Before he could get within two feet of her, she held out her arm to him, stopping the fawnling in its tracks. Clenching her outstretched hand into a fist, the fawnling began to choke as she lifted him off the ground.
Grinning, she whispered to the struggling creature,
"Tell me where your master is, and I will reward you beyond your wildest little dreams!"

The fawnling spat at Euryuli, "You have no power over me, or my master: the Glorious Rudo!" The Faerie raised an eyebrow,
"Very well." She murmered, "Such a shame." Clicking her fingers, the fawnling's neck snapped and he dropped to the ground.

"Come, come O 'Glorious Rudo', end this farce! Spells and servants! Show some bravery and come and fight me. You say you cannot die, then prove it!

Ooc: I'm presuming fawnlings can talk!

OoC: They are not children, and yes, they are semi-intelligent and can speak small short worded sentences. btw next time know they are stronger than you made them in your post and are skilled warriors.

BiC: Rudo was watching the fight from atop one of the pillars still standing, he was much more interested in this strange being now, killing all of his fawns, but he was also angry. How dare she, a peasant, kill his men, his faithful.

"YOU, You would dare take up arms against my faithful, to whom i am god incarnate. I have lived for millennia, i have seen hundreds of lifetimes, I have shaped the destinys of heros and kings for my enjoyment. This shall have retaliation, you shall have your proof, here have a free shot at my body, hit me anywhere! Go for my heart, go for my neck, cripple me, it will just add to your fear of me when you take your last breath!"

Then suddenly he appeared about 3 feet away from the woman, who jumped forward quickly.

"But before you attack tell me your name, i dislike killing the strong without knowing who they are."

OoC: Sorry for the short post, i dont have much time right now, next will be better.

Ooc: Maybe I wasn't very clear, my character was calling the fawnlings children just because of their size...and because she's a b****

Smiling from ear to ear, the Faerie stepped forward so she was face-to-face with the imposing figure before her. Looking deep into his coal-black eyes, she whispered,

"You will know my name only when I squeeze the last few drops of life from your body." In a flash he was propelled backwards, colliding into the wall, invisible still but very much there. Effortlessly he pulled himself up in time to see Euryuli outstretch her hand to the chalice, which she knew would be somewhere in the room. Flying into her fingers only a few seconds later, bright orange lightning crackled around her arm. The other was stretched towards this so-called God.

The same crackling energy soon appeared around this hand before suddenly a violent stream of raw flaming power was unleashed from the tightly gripped chalice towards it, then bouncing off; the screaming beam of corrupted holy energy now harnessed and fired at Euryuli's opposer.

just when Rudo was beginning to see the limits of this stubborn womans power it increased to about three times what it had been before, and fired at him in a beam of raging power. This puzzled Rudo, he hated being wrong, in-fact he was positive that this energy was not her own. This beam might hurt him, maybe even wound him, but he knew he could never die. That was the one good thing his B*$%^ of a mother ever did for him.

Rudo tried to dodge the stream of particles coming at him but they were to fast, and he was hit squarely in the chest, knocking the wind from his lungs. When he got back up, which was done with a small amount of effort he grinned at the woman, in this grin there was malice, hate, and the utmost desire for the kill, never before had a person even knocked him over. This fight kept getting better and better.

" I see now where you got that little burst of energy wench, you are using the chalice as a support, why whats wrong are you scared your power alone is not enough to win, TO LIVE! This makes sense now, i was right i know your natural limit."

Then he grinned a grin that the woman would never forget, this facial expression alone would have many an adventure pee his pants, but to this woman it only unnerved her slightly.

Running with the speed of a falcon, the strength of a rhinoceros, and an aim to kill like none other he created an elegant spear. He attacked with a central thrust, then an arcing chop. The first blow had no effect, but the second met its mark, and hit the hand holding the chalice.

Screaming a high-pitched, unearthly scream, the chalice Euryuli was gripping was struck by the warrior's new weapon, shattering it into a thousand glittering shards. Jumping backwards to avoid his next blow, she swung her dagger outward only for it to miss its rapidly moving target. Stabbing again, her blow was parried by this swift warrior, and again, and again.

Euryuli considered, this enemy was like nothing she had ever faced before; it had been years since she had last fought so hard. Her arms wielded the blade with such speed and accuracy, yet not one blow could strike its target.
Then his did.
Euryuli was suddenly knocked backwards as his weapon sliced across her stomach. Despite not being deep, she looked down as crimson blood began to slowly seep out of the wound, staining her golden dress.

The seemingly unbeatable warrior smirked as she looked back up at him, her eyes inflamed with unholy light. Then she spoke and her voice was not that of just a young woman anymore, its metallic, masculine sound echoed around the room, causing Rudo to pause, what sort of person was this?
“You insolent mortal! You do not know what power you are dealing with! I give you one chance, and one chance alone. Retreat now or suffer the full wrath of the Faeries of Leviitha! What say you?”

Ooc: I'm saying this because I really don't know how to continue this battle. I'm hoping my character will be able to bluff her way out of it! If you've got any ideas though could you tell me.
