The Dojo, Renewed: Practice for the First Timers

Ok, Mercutio, I actually don't mind at all if you don't change the hentai scenes, I just felt like I had to criticize something. I couldn't let you get away with a perfect score, could I? And It doesn't really matter that you gave DM some ideas, it's well written nonetheless.

Tenkawa, I believe I've read that profile before and had approved of it. Well, I approve even more now. It's good, detailed story, and any mistskes you had, you corrected in the last dojo.

Now then, I want to start a fight, and since there are 5 present, I will join. It'll be a standard 3x3 fight. I'll let you all pick sides, then we'll get a feel for how you all fight.

I really don't have a preference since I've actually never fought anyone in here anyway, and to damper it even more, I haven't seen any fight, so I'll leave it up to the rest.

::Note to self-Watch other people fight to get a feel for the way others attack. *puts away recorder*::

Wait... do only the trainees battle? If so, then nevermind. Not to be egotistical, but I don't need training at all.

Pardon my stupidity but I am extremely bored/depressed/tired/anxious tonight.

OOC: Whoops, seemed to have miscounted... for some reason, I though Zeldafreak was still here. Oh well, it'll have to be a 2x3. Now then, Dark Magician, Bright Mage, and Mercutio will team up against Tenkawa and I. If no one objects, I'll set it up. Now, since there has to be a logical back drop behind this fight, I'm gonna control your characters for this posts. I won't have anyone fight, I just want to establish how and why these warriors are fighting.

IC:On a grey evening, cold in the pines of Japan, gunfire rang through the snowy trees. Asato Tsuzuki ran thorugh the forest, occasionally turning his torso and firing at his pursuit. He had come to a clearing when the guns had ceased and various swear words could be heard. Tsuzuki was one of the few who had just escaped the Japanese Mafia.

He was much too preoccupied to congratulate himself. He was concentrated on nothing but the cleaning of his gun- until a voice behind him spoke.

"They're after you too, aren't they?"

"Who are you? Are you one of them?"

"You haven't answered my question. Why are they tailing you?"

"I've...killed one of their confidantes. They want my head."

"How could you take the life of a Mafia-protected man? Are you brainless?"

"I am on a quest, its purpose is none of your business."

"I see. My name is Vincenzo Cipriani. I was once in the Mafia, but they are looking for me as well."

"...I am Asato Tsuzuki. Do you live 'round here?"

"Through here."

They went through a clearing and arrived at a shack, deep within the wood of the forest. As the night went on, the twobegan to talk more merrily, and warmed to each other's presence.

Outside of the wood, and aura lit the dim night. An angel had vaporated, with a man of just about the same height walking alongside him. The angel spoke.

"Is this the place?"

"As far as I know...this is where the thieves reported it."

"Thank you, Kunaku. I need no further assitance...I must deal with this myself."

"Very well, but I must at least escort you to the clearing, Abel."

As the two in the house chatted, the pair in the clearing stared at the house. Abel was about to bid farewell to his fellow, when a very tall ape-like creature crashed through the brush. It opened its furry mouth and spoke loudly.

"Vincenzo...there are stranger's here."

He morphed into a human, as the others walked out of the shack. Vincenzo spoke brashly to them.

"Why are you here?"

Abel spoke, but to Tsuzuki.

"Within the chamber of your gun there lies a holy bullet, made of Orihalcon. I need it, if you value the earth."

Aseto scoffed.

"You wll have nothing to do with me."

"I will, and I will take it by force, if needed."

At this, Vencenzio smirked.

"Aseto, Roshi, please aid me in getting rid of this stranger."

And the battle begins.

ok, i'll add a blade weapon, thanks for the advice. and i dont mind me bein in the fight-thingy, so here is my attack...

Vincenzo grabbed his powerful gun off his strap and prepared for battle. but suddenly he heard a voice in the far reaches of his mind, "heh heh heh, think you're gonna win this? you know you're not. You're weak, and useless. Your nothing, give up, you don't stand a chance." Vincenzo froze and dropped his gun, Giovanni was insulting him and trying to break out of his mind. Vincenzo shook his head, but Giovanni's insults kept coming. Vincenzo was losing control, he could feel his eyes growing heavier, his mind slipping away. Suddenly Vincenzo changed, his eyes grew angry and cold and bags were underneath them. He smilied insanely and picked up his tommy gun, then fired a barrage of bullets. As he was shooting, he laughed crazily. One bullet had almost hit Abel, barely missing his arm. Roshi sighed, "not only do we have intruders but Giovanni has now joined the fight!".

I didn't want to fight you, I wanted to help you so you wouldn't have to fight and teach at the same time. Anyway, if you don't need my help thats cool, away I go!

Anyway, Dark_Magician, nice launch into your "fighting personality". I especially like how you've created a conflict between them. Great idea. Well then, either Mercutio or Bright Mage can attack next - roll in the artillery.

I almost got lost in that intro you did Mute, but that was nice. A guy with another personality...this'll be interesting.

Seems I've once again stumbled on an obstacle. Mercutio, Dark Magicain, and White Mage seem to have left the Arena. Tenkawa, if you're interested, you're welcome to stay, but I need new recruits. I need people with enough commitment to last long enough to finish what you started. Maybe it would be more eye-catching if I started a new topic for every battle hosted by the Dojo...Anyway, Tenkawa, any suggestions?

Well, I'm not usually the one with suggestions, I'm usually one to agree or dissagree. On the band wagon or off. Nonetheless, a new topic for every battle could work, it's just trying to find recruits that will stay for the duration of the fight. I have noticed new people showing up in the Battle Arena, I just don't know if they'd be interested or not.

I hate to say it, but I've been looking at Mirren's Training Grounds, and the competitors there are able to stay there. I'm sure that there are good students around, but I'm afraid that for now, they're all at Mirren's place. z_z; I think that the problem is that people see a large topic already been started, and they don't want to be a part of that, because they weren't there at the beginning. I'd hate to start ANOTHER whole new dojo, but it might be what we need to get more recruits. D'ya hop on that bandwagon or not, Tenkawa?
