Algharid forest. (X Vitros)

Ooc: I will be using Airrius yamikage for this one!

As Airrius walked calmly through the Algharid forest, located on an uncharted island North of Madagascar. He was in search of the sacred gem of the skies the Rael. Not looking for a fight or to be disturbed he sensed some thoughts in the distance, he knew this was a person, someone most likely to get in his way, however this person, judging by thoughts read was not aware that he was here.
"I can’t let some one get in my way, I can’t take the chance" Airrius said seriously.
As Airrius prepared to implode this persons mind he noticed that the person had become aware of him.
"Could this person read minds too?" Airrius said stunned.
He started to implode the persons mind as he felt a strain on his head; it felt like his brain was being ripped apart. He contained it and was relieved to know it did no damage. He was now aware that this person could reflect mind based attacks.
"He knows i have attacked, it isn’t safe anymore, damn." Airrius said arrogantly.

Airrius knew it wouldn’t take long before this person got here so he knew his only choice was to go airborne. As he quickly changed his hoods to wing formed he took of into the sky straight up, while he had a bird’s eye view he tried to detect the person who would soon be after him but found no one. He traveled to the far west side of the island hoping to be out of range and descended down to the surface. However the persons thoughts kept coming he was not gone and Arrius had problems. As he walked on north we were hoping to find the Rael before this person could find him but the chances were slim. Still, he had to try.

While running Airrius tripped over a rock and stumbled forward. When he got up he realized two caves in front of him.
“Hopefully I won’t be found in one of these" he said hopefully.
Know normally Airrius would not hide from a fight but this was different, he knew absolutely nothing about this person so far except for the fact that it could reflect mind based attacks and possibly read minds, which would make things a lot more difficult.

Well thats it for the start i hope its Battle arena material.

OoC: Very nice for a first post in the BA, all it needs, is to be a lot longer.
Now, my turn. (OoC=Out of Character/ BiC= Back in Character)

BiC: Trees, grass, all that filled his mind was green. Although green was not his favorite color, he still liked to admire the beauty of a perfect forest.

Vitros had been walking for nearly 2 days straight, except at night of course. He was, at the moment, tired of this same routine. His teenage mind was still with him, so when walking for so long, he gets somewhat bored of it.

The warrior forced himself to walk as long as his mind would allow him to before he finally sat down at the base of quite a large tree. He sat and leaned against the bark of the tree as he looked up toward the endless amount of leaves the tree had that reached for the sky. It had to at least be 60 feet tall, and it would take at least 3 people to wrap around the tree's trunk. Nevertheless, it's leaves made a great amount of shade from the sun's rays, which was exactly what he wanted.

The teen looked down at the ground, thinking to himself. Where the hell is the next town...its been nearly 3 days...

Suddenly, he snapped away from his thoughts as he looked straight ahead, not bothering to look in any other direction. He feels someone, there was someone nearby. As he started to think this, he felt an unknown force inside his head, it as quite an annoying force, a power that felt alot like a mind-reading spell. Vitros has been hit with plenty of these spells to know how to decieve it. The teen quickly changed his thoughts, thoughts that would make him seem to be a threat. He did not know who this person was, but whoever it was, he was not going to let him inside his mind without a little pay.

The teen then traced the unknown person's thoughts from his mind to the other as he reversed the power back at the intruder. No matter what the guy did, that was going to get him.

Vitros then listened closely as he heard the slightest russle of leaves from about 20 yards away. His eye traveling, he spoke.

"I know you're there, show yourself." He then stood and leaned against the tree, waiting to see if the intruder would show himself, or if he would have to get him out the hard way.

After waiting a few minutes, he could feel the person getting away from him. The teen wasn't about to let someone bypass his mind, and just walk away. Vitros quickly started to run at high speeds as he felt the person getting away, but he eventually ran consistantly until he felt the intruder coming closer.

As he ran, he sensed the person very close now. The warrior looked left and right until he came to the entrance of two caves, and he could feel the person's mind and thoughts inside the one on the right.

Bending forward, he talked into the cave. "I know you're in there. Be a man and come on out."

OoC: There you go! To a good fight!

Luckily Airrius had a special power; he could transfer thoughts to other places. He ran out of the cave in hope to not be detected and as the person was inside the cave he prepared to block this wall with ice. Slowly charging his power he released it and a wall of ice covered the entrance. He let his thought transfer power down and knew that the person was aware of the trick. He looked d at the wall and said,

"Man, this wall wont hold forever. This person has skills and he or she will probably escape. I will have to trek further and if matters get worse I will have to fight."

Airrius trekked farther north and turned east he was about 30 yards away when he noticed the person’s thoughts were gone. As the expression of confusion ran across his face he replied into the distance,

Where are you, I know you wouldn’t dare leave this island after being attacked."

Airrius took off farther and came to a city’s entrance. As he gazed up at the city he softly spoke.

"The lost city of Algharid!"

He gasped and remembered the enemy; he would have to lead the enemy away. He had no time to lose, as much as he wanted to go in and find the Rael he had to wait. He ran as fast as he could but was suddenly stopped. He was face to face with his enemy.

"Why are you here in the forest:" Airrius said exhaustedly.

"Well wouldnt you like to know" The person replied angrily.

"Your name, its X vitros right?" Airrius said calm in a low voice.

"So, you can read minds too!" X vitros exclaimed.

Airrius stepped back further and unsheathed his sword and morphed his hand into a shield. As X vitros came closer Airrius prepared a voltage strike in his shield hand, He had done this so the person would not detect this magic, he focused his thoughts on anything but his magic. He knew he would not be able to leave without a fight.

BiC: Vitros had walked through the cave for a few minutes, not wanting to go too far, but his curiousity was getting the best of him.

As he walked farther, he felt that he was coming to the limit of distance between his target. He quickly created a water clone of himself as he jumped to the ceiling of the cave, using ice magic silently to cling to the rocky walls. As he looked at the clone that was in his place, the clone approached the person that had entered Vitros' mind, but to his surprise, it was a mere boy, about Vitros' age or a little younger.

As the young boy seemed to be running away from something, he turned and faced the water clone, and from the boy's thoughts, he didn't know it was a clone that he had run into.

After an exchange of words, the boy quickly jumped back as he unsheathed his blade and unexpectingly turned his hand into a shield. The boy was being slightly more clever then the warrior had expected from him, the unknown boy was keeping his mind clean of thought, so that Vitros could not get inside to learn anything. Even though he was doing this, Vitros could tell what the boy didn't want him to know, he was generating a lightning magic in his shield.

He could see it with his left eye, it was a decently trained magic too. Suddenly, the intruder fired a blast of lightning at the water clone as the blast hit directly on target, making the water clone explode in a watery mass.

The boy looked to be quite surprised. "Wh..what just happened?" The boy asked himself.

"Well..." the warrior said as he let go of the ceiling of the cave as he dropped down from the cave wall and to the ground, looking the boy directly in the eye with his irregular eye. "I was merely following you, I wasn't planning to fight you, but since you seem to want me dead, I don't think I can let you go." he said as he took a step forward, toward the boy. "You already know my name..." he then unsheathed X Blade as it changed to it's Ice Form, making the blade as tall as Vitros was, and the width was nearly a foot long. "...what is yours?"

Airrius knew that from the words the boy spoke he was wrong, he was led into this battle by accident. He knew that no matter what he said though, the boy would probably not believe him.

"It's." the boy cut him off.

"Airrius." The boy replied quickly.

Arrius looked straight into the boys eyes. He noticed one eye unusualy different. Then it hit him, that was how he was reading my mind, all i have to do is blind him then stun him. Though Airrius didnt know of the mistake he made, the blue haired warrior had read his thought.

"You are pretty clever. but you wont be able to defeat me. I know your plan." The boy sternly replied.

"Yeah thats what you think, i can read all your thoughts too!" Airrius remarked.

Airrius went head on at X Vitros. He slashed his sword horizontaly, however the boy dissapeared and reapeared right behind him, but Airrius knew that he wanted him to teleport, as the boy tried to stab airrius in the head Airrius ducked rolled back and jumped up and transformed his hoods into wing form, and flew about 10 feet off the ground. The boy still stunned, stood there trying to figure out what to do, Arrius focused his mind on anything but what he was about to take out of his pockets. he one by one threw his red orbs down at the floor and each burst open and exploded. He was pushed back and damaged, for this was the red orbs downside. Smoke was every where and the small area was in flames.

Airrius knew he would have to focus on anything but what he was going to do next to survive. He trasfered his thought to a spot in the air to the right of him and flew down, he quickly detected the boy and stood hidden charging an ice ring attack. soon he let a ring of water tightly around X Vitros and froze it over the smoke cleared and the fire was put out by Airrius only to find that the boy was not trapped, it was only a mere clone stuck in the ice ring.

"Wha, what happened, where did he go?" Airrius said.

"Right here." X Vitros replied

Arrius turned around to see a ball of fire coming straight towrds him, he put his shield up in time hoping for the best and with luck the fire ball was reflected right at the boy, it struck him with force. The boy was knocked backed. He got up and teleported next to Airrius.

"Either Your speed is incredible or you know how to teleport. Which one is it" Airrius said

"It's my speed that i am using now." X Vitros exclaimed.

Well, i am just as fast as you." Airrius said exasprantly.

Sure you are, You dont stand a chance that sword is half the size as mine." The boy snareled.

Airrius laghed hard and grinned. He doubled his swords size to match X Vitros's

"Boy you are sure full of surprises!" X Vitros replied.

BiC: Vitros knew the boy was not as strong as he was, but no matter what he said, it is not strength, but how you fight, that matters.

He quickly sweep kicked the boy with blinding speed, only for the boy to fly into the air once again, dodging his foot by inches. Exactly where I want you, he said as he summoned an ice pillar from the caves wet surface, slamming into Airrius' chest as his back hit the ceiling of the cave as rock and dust exploded in all directions.

As the dust cleared, Vitros let the ice on his blade melt off and let the sword's normal form into play. "I can take you on, with just this." He said as he jumped toward the pinned boy. Airrius quickly broke the ice with his sword as he dropped to the ground, narrowly avoiding Vitros' fist as it broke more rock where the boy was.

Airrius then jumped back up toward Vitros, ready to swing his sword, but Vitros blocked the massive blade by putting his sword in front of him.

The boy seemed impressed that with such a light sword, that he could block so easily. Airrius quickly placed his feet against the warrior and jumped off, going back to the ground as Vitros almost instantly did one more thing that the boy would have never guessed he had up his sleeve.

Mechanical wings quickly shot from Vitros' back slat as he flapped once and deliever a devestating punch to Airrius' stomach as he flew out of the cave at high speed, the boy still on Vitros' fist as he stopped outside the cave almost instantly as the boy flew off Vitros' fist and broke several trees as he flew back.

Vitros merely smiled as he switched his eye to it's absolute full potential.

Airrius ran out the cave in the blink of an eye and flew towards X Vitros furiously. He Quickly caught up slashed his sword three times at X vitros. Each blocked Airrius, ran behind X vitros and blasted a jolt of electric energy at X Vitros. It struck X Vitros with complete force sending him toward the ground. He flew down and watched as Vitros got up.

"You see X, i noticed from the start that lightning attacks were your weakness."

Airrius ran towards X Vitros and prepared to slash but backed up Quickly and dashed behind him with lightening speed and kicked the boy in the back. He then prepared to slash when X Vitros dodged and tried a punch, Airrius ducked and slashed at the boys legs. The blue haired warrior jumped up an tried for a downward slash. Airrius Quickly rolled out of the way and let his shield go back to a hand and punched Vitros in the stomach. Airrius Flew up and prepared his magic, he didnt care if the boy knew what he was going to do or not. He sent out tendrils of darkness towards X Vitros. Vitros absorbed the power and sent a birst of light magic towards Airrius. Arrius slashed at the light magic and something he had never seen before had happened. His sword absorbed the light energy and healed all his wounds. This had turned the tables.

"Hmm, seems that i have the upper hand now." Airrius laughed.

Airrius flew to the sky and sent a raging twister towards the ground but the boy was gone. Airrius was punched in the back but flew to the ground after retaliating. X vitros had used his dark magic to attack but Airrius was to clever, after cutting through each force of dark magic he Whipped out his Rainbowmerang and flung it towards vitros. Vitros dodged and it came back towards Airrius. he cuahgt it and stood there.

"Why is he standing still?" X Vitros said confused.

Airrius came up behind him and stabbed him in the arm. As Vitros yelped in pain Airrius kicked him down.

"I want to know why you are in the forest!" Airrius said sternly.

Vitros wasnt talking so Airrius prepared his hand with fire magic and burnt X Vitros but only to find that he was melting.

"An ice clone, damn it." Arrius said.

"my eye is at full potential, it doesnt matter now!" Vitros replied angrily.

"Those punches and kicks didnt do much damage, i was only pretending to be knocked down so you would get over confident and let your gaurd down so you would not notice my sneak attack! He punched Airrius to the ground hung him by the collar and started to punch Airrius again and again.
X Vitros charged his magic and struck Airrius with a fire ball and it did severe damage do to his weaknesses.

OoC: 0_0! BAD VITROS! *smacks him*

BiC: As Vitros finalized the finishing blow, he landed a fireball in his hand as he blew it into the boys chest as it blew him out of the warrior's grip and sent him across the ground. "I'm sorry, but once you attack me, I don't let up until you're down and out. Which I would say is about right now." he said as he approached the downed boy.

The warrior couldn't help but think he had pushed it a little too far, but at the moment, he could tell that the boy was not going to die, he was too strong to do that on him.

Vitros kneeled beside the boy as he examined the burns across the guy's chest, he was in serious pain due to him gasping in pain. Vitros then placed his hand on the ground and drew water from the ground and the shaped the water into an orb shape in his hand. As he enchanted the water with light magic, he started to sway the water over the burns and bruises on the boy's chest and stomach.

After a while of treatment, Vitros finally smiled and chuckled. "What are you? I've never seen a style of flying like that in my life."

As Airrius opened his eyes he saw he was being healed. Why, why are you healing me. After what I have done."

"I dont wish to kill you." The warrior said as he smirked.

"if your curios about my flying then i will tell you as to why i am so good, its simple, i am a skylian. I come from an alternate world up in the sky. All skylians are natural born flyers!" The boy said exasperantly.

"You are a great fighter, i had fun during that battle." He said.

"I had more tricks up my sleeve but the fights over, thanks for sparing me." Airrius said softly.

"What were you doing in the forest, was your plan to kill me." X said.

"No, I am actually searching for a lost jewl of my people, the Rael."

"Was there really a need to attack me?" X Vitros replied as he finished healing the boys wounds.

"No, I thought you were an enemy at first but, when i read your thoughts I knew you knew nothing of me and were not going to kill me. I was going to leave you alone. However, i didn't want anybody in my way so i was going to kill you, But i know i made a mistake now, i see your friendly, the fight you put up was amazing." Airrius said as he stood up.

"Yeah like i said, yours too!" The warrior replied happily.

"Though what really stumps me is, why you are in the forest" Airrius said confused.

BiC: So, the guy was going to kill me so that I wouldn't be in his way. Well, no telling how many times Vitros has heard that said, but he would let it slide, since he kind of see what Arrius meant.

Vitros then relaxed, knowing that the threat was over. "I just walk, I have no general direction to travel, so I just wander, and I guess I just came into this forest." he said as he looked up at the leaves that blocked most of the sun from entering the forest ground.

"Why..do you wander?" Arrius asked, seemingly curious now.

"Well, I'm looking for my family. They could be anywhere, so I just walk and ask around towns if they have seen anyone that look around the variety of what I look like." Vitros then walked back toward the cave entrance that they had fought in. "I could tell you were hiding something in there, what were you hiding?" The warrior then walked back into the cave and into the darkness.

"Well i am not hiding anything there, but what i am going to tell you that there is the lost city of Algharid about a mile north. thats where i am headed, thats where the Rael is most likly to be" Airrius replied while pointing toward north.

"Who knows, maybe your parents are in the city." Airrius said with smile.

The boys head shot up, he came from the entrance of the cave, He looked at his feet and said something as they walked north,

"What about you, what about your eyes, your parents?"

"Well my parents, they were killed, killed by a scummy jerk valorceran. I am after the Rael and the other elemental stones because its my only way back into my world in the sky. I am planning to kill Volorceran once i get back, he has been ruling my land for three years now. As for my eyes, well Valorceran stabbed me in the middle of my left eye, thats why it is scared and my pupil is blood red. My other eye, its got no pupil, its wierd to have an eye with no pupil somehow and still see." Airrius said smirking.

The two warriors headed towards the lost city of algharid both hoping two find what they were looking for. They came toward the citys entrance and parted ways within the city.

"Good luck on finding the Rael." X had said as he walked away.

"Hope you find your parents." Airrius called back as he walked deeper into the city.
