Living While Lost (Quark)

OoC: Okay I will be using my recently approved character "Marl" linkinsig (Thank you for approval Gracie), lets make this good okay buddy!

BiC:

They say no one should live with so much pain in their lives. They also say that no matter how much pain you feel there is always someone out there with worse pain then yours. But no matter how many more people have worse pain then yours, your pain will always hurt enough. There is one who has yet to find a way to ease his pain. This one has lost so much in his life that he wonders why he still lives. He wonders what his next move will be in the game we call life. He wonders what his purpose in life is....Too soon shall he find out...

"Give me another" Marl said as he tossed the bartender a gold coin.

The bartender reluctantly poured the rugged looking man a drink. Marl looked at the fresh ale, and quickly slurped it down as if it were fresh water. He slammed the mug down onto the table and bowed his head down.

"Is something the matter with you sir? Ive seen many depressed folks in my day, but your one of the worst that Ive had," The bartender said as he stacked some bottles on the shelf.

"Jussst mind your own businessss, Ifff I wanted therapy Id go to a therapissst" Marl said, slightly slurring his words.

"I really think you should leave now sir, you'll find more trouble here then you can handle," The bartender replied.

"Ife killed many people in my day....ifff you dont want to be one offf em, I suggessst you mind yer own busssines!" Marl said as he stood angrily.

Marl almost pulled his gun out and shot the man, but decided it was better off if he left anyway. He turned away from the frightened bartender and looked at the silenced patrons who glared at him.

"What?!" Marl screamed. He then walked out of the bar, swearing slightly below his breath.

As he walked out onto the streets a group of people surrounded him.

"You owe us some serious coin fer walkin on our street!" A burly man said to marl.

"If you dont want there to be an....accident I suggest ya pay up now!" Another gruff looking man said.

"If you all dont want to be corpsesss...Id sugggessst to leave..." Marl said, trying to stand up straight.

"This guys too drunk to even stand and talk boys, lets deal with him!" The burly man said as he pulled out a long sword. The rest of his gang then pulled out weapons of their own and slowly surrounded Marl.

Marl tryed to go for his gun, but his vision was to blurry to see anyone. Just as he prepared to fire a shot, he felt a sharp pain on his right arm. Someone had stabbed him with a knife!

Marl fell to his knees, trying to find the knife, but it was no use. He had drunk enough to kill a normal man, and had drunk too much even for himself! Just as marl found the knife he felt a sharp kick right in his stomach.

"Okay boys, no one ever saw this man since he left the bar, got it!?" The burly man said as he cracked his knuckles.

Just as the group readied to throw the final blow, The man they had ambushed began to glow. He then grew much bigger, and a huge sword appeared on his back! The man had turned into a beast!

"You die humans!!" Kilklaw said as he swung his mighty sword, killing four men with one swipe. The other two men tried to run, but Kilklaw shot a tremor through the ground and caused them to fall over in pain. The beast walked over to the two ailing men and killed them by shoving his blade through their stomachs.

Kilklaw then turned to see a figure standing before him.....

OoC: Sorry if that was too long, I got a little carried away. Oh and in case your too lazy to read the characters description, Kilklaw is the name of the Demi Human spirit that Marl has inside of him. Right now your fighting Kilklaw, okay!

Oh what a marvelous week! Partaking in so many magnificent fights was almost too good to be true. However, usually whenever things were going his way, they’d reverse and get boring all over again. This simply wouldn’t do, in fact just thinking of the impending boredom started to worry him. He needed a good fight, better than the ones he’d previously engaged in. If it were something up to his standards, then his happy mood would continue on. However, if it were too easy, he knew his joyous week would come to a sudden halt.

Ok, so a plan was in motion, now was the time to find a worthy opponent. This sometimes could take hours, other times he found his match rather quick. He knew he’d receive some sort of competition soon, the way everyone he walked past was looking at him with either a scared or a cautious look. It wouldn’t be long before one of them would try to attack him. He wasn’t surprised, he always got this reaction. After all, he was merely a walking human skeleton clothed in a fool’s apparel.

He waved to the occasional idiot he passed by, probably grinning internally because he couldn’t do it physically. There was a woman’s hot springs up ahead which he was tempted to drop by, but he knew that there weren’t many nice looking ladies who visited them this time of day. Maybe he’d visit it later when he bested his challenger.

It was then he heard the unmistakable sound of a blade on flesh: The barely audible slice of the skin, followed by the splash of internal organs. It was close too, just around the corner. The skeleton dashed for the corner, wheeling around the bend before stopping completely.

Dead broads, six of them. The sight of the corpses would have made him smile, if he had the lips to do so. Their killer towered above them, blade dripping with blood. The jester kicked his foot into the dirt, intentionally drawing the murderer’s attention toward himself. The giant hulk spun around on his heels, facing the faceless bag of bones.

“Well then, brought out death today have we?” Toofy chuckled. He examined the bodies for a brief moment, taking note that they were all slain with a sword. No special techniques that he could see. “I say, you can kill quite well, but your style and method doesn’t appear to be that original.” The jester waved his mock scepter a bit, tossing it into the air before snatching it once again. “Have at me, demon, show me your talent. Let's see if you can kill me the same way you killed these others.”

Kilklaw managed to make out the figure before him. It was some sort of a skeleton! Kilklaw stood there for a few minutes, eyeing the absurd looking challenger with disgust. The beast then spoke:

"Jar'ekt Touit Moins Nevenada?"

The skeletal being tilted his head a bit, as if it were curious at Kilklaws language. The Demi Human wasnt sure if this being could understand his language or not. The language he had spoke was a common language communicated with in Oblivion. (OoC: This is what I call the afterlife for the evil) However the creature seemed not to understand what Kilklaw had said.

"You not...dead?" Kilklaw managed to say.

The skeleton however did not reply, instead it stepped forth, as if it were eyeing Kilklaw. However the skeleton merely bonked The Demi Human on his head with its sceptar and chuckled.

"That it! I have enough of you!" Kilklaw shouted.

He then sliced at the skeleton, who easily swayed to the right, avoiding the attack. Kilklaw then swung to his right, while his opponet simply jumped over the blade attack. The Demi Human was now starting to get angry! He then sliced down on the skeleton, who jumped back. The unliving creature thought he had dodged the beasts attack, but instead he fell right into it. Just as the beasts sword hit the ground, a tremor shot through it and engulfed the skeleton.

Kilklaw watched as the skeleton collided into the wall of a nearby building. This was his chance. He sprang forward, holding his sword ahead of him, waiting to impale his opponet....
