The Hero vs The Dark Hero (The Missing Link)
OoC: Okay remember what I said in the PM. Make this battle good and your in The BA Heroes! ( I will be using Krayt (Hero), I dont know if I mentioned this or not)
BiC: Hero stood there in the middle of the deserted town. He had evacuated the civilians because he feared the battle would put their lives at risk. The wind slowly blew through the deserted streets, blowing Hero's cape in the wind. He had his eyes glued on the north entrance, awaiting his challenge. He was looking for one who would make a new edition to his team, and hopefully this one would satisy his need. Several minutes past and still no arrival of anyone. But Hero was a patient person, and he knew this challenger had potential. Just as Krayt exhaled a small breath and saw a figure in front of him. "Its about time Zack. Shall we begin the challenge?" Krayt said as he readyed himself. "Remember, There is no killing. If you choose to break this golden rule, my allies will avenge me. But Im sure I dont have to worry about that!" Krayt said as he looked at Zack and smirked..... OoC: Its a little short yeah, but I intend for the fight to be good! |

Re: The Hero vs The Dark Hero (The Missing Link)
Zack saw a blurred figure in the distance. He slowly neared his opponent; the sound of his sword bumping up and down seemed to annoy him a bit. The large town was now empty. Doors were left open, swinging with the passing breeze. It was the only sound throughout the area. Zack slowly unsheathed his heavy blade.
"Right, right, no killin'. Just watch out, I'm better than you may think," Zack called out as he reached his destination; he was about five meters from his waiting opponent. He shot forward, not awaiting a response. He dashed forward and greeted Krayt with a horizontal swipe at his chest; it took no effect to the proud Sytonian. What the hell? Zack thought to himself, looking up at his challenger. He wasn't even stunned. Zack shot back in despair. "You can't be part of my team if you can't even give my a tiny scratch," chuckled Krayt with a friendly, innocent look on his face. Zack growled to himself. Is he mocking me? he silently questioned himself. Zack drew one of his throwing knives and shot it at the stationary Krayt. It ricochet off of his seeming impenetrable skin. "What the hell are you?" the Dark Hero asked him. Zack dashed forward and leaped into the air, smashing his shin into Krayt's face; this was blocked by his left wrist. Zack hit the ground, landing on his back roughly; his sword flipped through the air and landed in the brown dirt a few meters away, making a faint plop that nobody actually heard. Zack thought for a moment. "Mayonaka Hinote!" roared the desperate kid, hoping that he would be able to gather enough Spiritual Energy for at least one attack. A dull flame appeared in his hand before bursting into a huge orb of blue heat in his right hand. Sparks flickered in the still air. He grasped his wrist with his left hand as he tried to keep the current steady. Krayt's eyes seemed to widen a bit. Hm...maybe this kid could be a nice addition to the team... Zack screamed in pain. He had only learned how to control and direct the currant of Spiritual Energy. He had never learned to use it in a way that wouldn't injure him. His holler echoed throughout the deserted town. The ball of fire expanded a bit more. Please...just a little more power...please... Zack begged to himself. The fireball was now the size of basketball. The pain was killing him, and if he didn't do something with it, it'd explode it his hand from the constant flow of power. He had to do something, and now! OoC: Sorry for it being so short.

Re: The Hero vs The Dark Hero (The Missing Link)
OoC: Actually that was pretty good! It was good length, good battle description; lets continue!
BiC: Krayt smirked at the attack that was being thrown at him. It was a powerful attack, but Krayt knew it would have little effect on him. Krayt then shielded his face with his arms just as the teen shot the energy blast at him. The blast felt like warm water being thrown onto him. It was powerful enough for Krayt to feel, but not near enough to hurt him. As the smoke from the explosion cleared, Krayt stood there; unscathed. "Very nice attack, but I didnt mention that me and fire are very close friends" Krayt said as he held his hand up and shot a fireball at Zack. Zack was able to dodge the ball of fire easily, but was more amazed that the blast had little effect on Hero. Before Zack could reply to Hero, he shot another fire ball at him. Zack dodged this attack just as easily as the first one, but his hand was still burning from the fire attack. That wasnt it though, Hero continued to bombard Zack with fireballs! Zack dodged the attacks very gracefully, until Hero pulled a fast one. Just as Zack dodged one of his fireball attacks, Hero shot a ray of flame; catching part of Zacks arm. "Your quick, but you cant keep dodging every attack!" Krayt said as he readied up another fire attack. Zack clearly couldnt overpower Hero, but there was surely a way he could put his attacks on hold..... OoC: Krayt is immune to fire attacks, sorry! Im not trying to make him seem invulnerable though, there ways to harm him. |

Re: The Hero vs The Dark Hero (The Missing Link)
OoC: I know, I purposely made Zack preform a fire attack; I've studied Krayt carefully.
BIC: A thunderstorm brewed overhead as Krayt began shooting what looked like blades of fire at the teenage boy. Zack plunged out of the way, but he was hit in the right shin in midair. He pummeled onto the ground, trying to suppress the pain by squeezing it with both hands. He cried out, creating yet another echo in the city. He quickly got up, his right leg trembling, and dashed over to his grounded blade. He knew that if he stayed down, he would've been injured further. Zack's eyes were glued to Krayt as he dashed over to his sword. He didn't trust him. Zack arrived at his sword and slowly bent down and picked it up. His right leg was still trembling; a bright black mark was left in the flame's place. "I still got another trick up my sleeve," smirked Zack. "Sumizome Houyou!" Zack threw his two hands out in front of him, palms facing his opponent, as two jet black claws reached from the ground and snatched the Hero. Zack began slowly shutting his hands as the claws squeezed harder and harder. Krayt did not feel any pain from this. His people had to endure rain that hit you like a dagger, to him, this was like a walk in the park. Damn it...If I continue to use up my Spiritual Energy, I won't be able to defeat him! Zack thought. He was expecting some type of pain from Krayt, but his expression didn't change. He began pushing away the hands with his own hands. He slowly separated them from his muscular body. He slammed them away; as they smashed against the ground, it looked as if they shattered into millions of pieces. "Is that it, 'Dark Hero'?" mocked Krayt. Zack had no Spiritual Energy left, but he only had one last resort. "Aoi Shuurai!" barked Zack, holding his palm out to the unhurt enemy. Blood began dripping swiftly from his palm, the after-effect of the fire technique. Lightning began zipping around his body as an orb of it grew in his hand. He lifted his arm into the air, knowing what would happen next. "What're you doing?" Krayt asked his, his heart rate accelerating. Lightning was one of his primary weaknesses. A bolt of lightning hit Zack's hand, zapping his whole body. He let out a suppressed scream of pain as the lightning continued coming. When it finally stopped, Zack could hardly stand, but his orb of lighting was now as big as a house. He held it up in the air with his right hand which was now leaking blood like a foist. The orb began shrinking smaller and smaller until it was the size of a softball. "I've...taken the...power from...the lighting and...compressed...it into a tiny ball," Zack said slowly, taking breaths after every few words. "One hit with this...and you'll...be lying on the ground...for a month!" he said, giving a light chuckle in front of seemingly endless voids of pain. The power in that lightning is phenomenal! I need to find a way to evade his attack! thought the clever man. Small beads of humid sweat began to race down his rough face quickly leaving a small trail of their remains as they tried to escape off and into the dirt. OoC: Hey, let's wrap this up in the next few posts. We both know who is going to win this battle (we agreed through PM).

Re: The Hero vs The Dark Hero (The Missing Link)
OoC: You want to wrap it up already? Fine fine, I know it was just a few posts, but your in! In future though, I will require longer battles. Anyway this will be a short fight. (Dont expect all of them to be though, we live for battling)
BiC: Krayt looked at the ball of ionic energy, knowing that it could gravely harm him. He looked around frantically, trying to find something he could use to shield against the attack. He then got an idea. As Zack struggled to charge the light bolt, Krayt punched his fist through the ground, along with his other one. He then lifted with all of his might, and tore out a large chunk of earth, about the size of a small car. Just as Zack launched the beam of lightning, Krayt threw the shield in front of him. The lightning destroyed the earth chunk Krayt had blocked it with, and managed to shoot through to Krayt. The Sytonian braced himself in pain, and struggled to regain control. Th earth chunk managed to hold back part of the blast, but the other part had nailed its target. Krayt fell to his knees, holding back the pain from the ionic cells harming his own DNA structure. Zack then grabbed his sword with his unharmed hand, and charged forward, ready to strike down Krayt in his moment of weakness. But Krayt was ready. The Sytonian managed to stand up, and grab Zack by his right arm, just as he got near him. He then threw the Dark Hero straight through a nearby building, demolishing the reinforced adobe wall. "Nice...Job..ugh, I guess I can let you in, but...lets finish the fight!" Krayt said as he shrugged off some of the lightning damage. OoC: I saw your post in Eds shop, I see your way ahead of then what I was intending. But whatever, I need good members right now, so I can let it slide. Just remember: "Its not enough to wear the banner, you must show why you wear it" With that said, lets finish this extremely short battle! |

Re: The Hero vs The Dark Hero (The Missing Link)
OoC: I was just a little cocky
. Anyway, let me finish this. I usually do longer posts, but I was feeling a bit lazy.Zack's blade spiraled through the air and smashed into the dirt. Zack lied there amenest the destroyed building's remains, his right arm bloody and bruised, his body torn and ripped. He managed to lift his right eyelid half way to see the results. Krayt stood there on one knee, breathing heavily with a minor wound on his bulky chest. "Damn...you..." Zack managed to say to the Hero lightly before resting his head on the rubble behind him. The sun began to set as an orange twilight filled the sky, demolishing the rest of the pasted thunderstorm. Zack smiled a bit. He knew he lost this battle, but there was a whole road ahead of him, calling his name. His path was already carved by destiny, like a pawn of fate. A gust of refreshing wind swayed his brown hair a bit as he attempted to get vertical; he failed miserably. Krayt approached the grounded Zack and passed him a warm smirk. He held out his large hand, and Zack took it, being easily pulled up by the superhuman. "It looks like I won," chuckled Krayt. Zack gave a huge nod as he tried to maintain his balance. "I think I'll need a long rest," Zack said in a exasperated tone. That was when Krayt replied with something he didn't expect. "You can't sleep on the job if you're gonna be on my team!" he laughed. Zack's right arm hung like a cord, being almost detached after using up those large portions of precious energy. Zack's eyes lit up like candles and his expression changed to a huge grin. "Yes!" he exclaimed, throwing his left arm into the air. He turned around and, dragging his injured right leg, limped over to the location of his sword, and took it from ground before sheathing it; a slithering sound followed. "C'mon. We have a long road ahead of us," called Krayt, starting toward the horizon. Zack followed. The orange sunlight pressed against their wounded figures. Yet, Krayt stopped for a moment, and Zack stopped once he caught up with his new alley. "What is it?" Zack asked him, panting. Krayt extend his right arm with an open hand. Zack slapped his left hand onto it and the two men shook on a job-well-done and a good fight. The End
