Destroyer of worlds(two other characters)

OOC: This is a fight aganist a powerful creature who i'll describe in my first post. This is a fight 3 characters vs the monster i'll use my character esdon quicksword (link in sig). Our goal is to try to stop this creature destroying the planet. Also no killing it early I want this to last many fight & challages.

BIC: Esdon walk calmly down the forest road. Trees to both sides spreading out behond sight & infront of him notting but the dirt road he was following. Esdon smiled as he glanced up stri his eagle friend flying lazyly above him. The only sounds were the rustling of the trees in the wind & the clinking of his sword sheaths hitting aganist his hip armour. His hair moving silently as each gust of wind came down the forest road.

Then Esdon heard a footfall of a large creature. Esdon stopped & stri landed in a nearby tree. Esdon heard anouther tump as a creature moved again. Esdon looked to his left & through the trees he saw two large yellow eyes looking back at him. He couldn't see the body of the creature for no light made it throught the trees in which it stood under. The creatures dashed forwards till it reached the edge of the trees were it was still in the darkness.
Tell me were the shrine of life is & i'll consider spearing your life said a large rumbling vocie that came from the creture.
Sorry said Esdon causually ignoring the fact the eyes were at least 5 metres above the ground. But I don't give infomation to monsters.
With this esdon glimiced 4 silver flashs which Esdon could tell were sword.
Do you know who I am said the creature.
No said Esdon smiling. But I'm sure you'll next say you can destroy me said esdon sarcasticly. He of course having heard this very line many times.
I'm the destroyer of worlds the creature bellowed as he lunged forwards with two swords. Esdon Jumped high in the air & landed on a branch next to stri allowing the creatures swords to crash into the trees trunck to show two huge arms sticking out of the darkness that just covering the four metre wide road without the creature having to leave the darkness.
So then how come you missed said Esdon smilling as he glacned down at the huge black arms that were covered in black iron plates & furtherly holding two massive 3 metres long swords that gleamed silver in the light.
I'll destroy you roared the vocie as two more arms lunged at Esdon. He dived side ways & grabed stri as he fell to the ground & landed with a roll before he got up.
Your to slow for me he said brushing the dirt of his white with gold trim pants & shirt. As he let go of stri he glanced at the four huge arms bearing swords that are lodged in the tree. The creature left the trees showing a huge body with legs like tree trunks A long scaly tail lead behind it but the creatures head was the part that screamed evil a huge black demons head with horns heading two metres upwards. It's body, legs, tail & head were covered in black iron armour like it's arms.
It roared as it drew it swords out of the tree. It turned to face Esdon blocking the path ahead of him. Then Esdon heard running from behind him.

OOC: The running is the character thats joining next.

OoC: Yo count me in! I'll use "Krayt", He's a guardian of Earth, so this should work out perfectly! Im only posting to claim dibs in this fight, Im typing as you probably read this.

Krayt flew through the skys, enjoying the breeze, yet at the same keeping a vigilant eye for trouble. Then Krayt noticed a ruckus going on in a nearby forest below. Krayt dove at an incredible speed, and landed with a thud on the ground, which created a small crater around him. He then dashed forward towards action.

Krayt then came to view a man, with bluish hair, facing a huge creature! The Creature was big, and looked to be powerful, but Krayt was ready for it! The beast sliced forward towards the man, but Krayt jumped in front of the blade, and caught it with his bare hands.

He managed to stop the impact from hitting the man, but the creature was stronger then it looked. It managed to bruise Krayts hands, and send him back a few feet. However Krayt countered with a quick sucker punch, and sent the creature tumbling back. It looked like he would have to unleash his full strength on this thing!

"Are you okay mister? Im Hero, and Im here to help!" Krayt said to the man, while the creature recovered from the punch....

OoC: Sorry this is short, but I figured I would leave what happens to the creature up to you. Oh and Call Krayt Hero for now, as it is his Superhero name.

OoC: I too am simply posting to secure my spot in this thread. I have somewhere to be, but I'll finish my post when I get back from there... this is all I can say for now, but I'll let you know about my character when I get back. See you in about eight hours.

OOC: Good two characters. Hero I've read some of your work so I know this is going to get good.

BIC: Esdon gazed at the new comer with a sudden surprise after he grip the blade & staggered the creature with a singal punch.
Well then hero it's nice to have some help said esdon smiling to the man so then shell we kill this thing.
Why commented the man.
This things after the temple of life if he destroy's the main camber he destroys the planet. As esdon finished saying this the creature lunged forwards with all four swords. But the weapons stop short of there target as Esdon had actervated his shield.
Like I said demon you got to be fast to hit me.The creature sheath one of it's sword and opened it's palm towards the shield and fired a large eletrical blast that broke the shield & caused Hero & Esdon to be shocked.
Damn it said Esdon as he stabbed his sword in the ground so the eletrical currents drained into the ground but the man beside of him collasped in pain.
The creature lunged again at the man but Esdon jumped in front of it & took the damage with his sword.
The creature growed and said white man you should not interfare.
I suppose you mean my cloths said esdon as he was wearing nearly completly white. The creature lifted two of it's swords & swung again causing Esdon to slid back a bit but he still held firm.
No Chance said Esdon as the man got up and darted round Esdon and the creatures swords to hit it in the chest causing it to fall over in shock. The creature got up again to face Esdon with a open palm facing him.
Eat this said esdon as a golden orb fired from his hand and hit the creature square in the chest sending it flying in a lazy ark to land a decent 20m away.
The creature sickening laugh echoed down the road as it got up and grew bigger so it was nearlly double the size & it head was about 10 metres above the above ground stearing down at them.
God it absorbs magic said Esdon drawing his swords again.
That must have been a powerful spell to make the creature double in size said hero.
Yeah it could bring down most foes double his size said Esdon proudly.
But now ..... started Esdon.
It's bigger & stronger finished hero.
You silly little men I shell go where you can't follow said the creature sprouting four huge bat like wings.Then firing into the air. Esdon Smiled & materalized his wings & hero produced his wings from behind his cape. Then they both fired into the air in hot persuit.

OoC: Just so ya know Krayt (Hero) does not have wings. Its a gift from the afterlife that allows him to fly. (Could also be because of the phoenix spirit inside of him, but that quest is still in progress) Also, I dont mind if you do this, but your really not supposed to post other characters dialogue without the owners permission Just a future warning. You have my permission to control krayts dialogue, so long as it sticks to his personality!

BiC: Hero flew along side of the man, chasing the monstrous creature. He then felt the bruises on his palms starting to fade away, it looked like his wound was starting to heal. But before he could even blink, the creature turned and opened its gazing mouth, preparing to attack.

Hero braced himself as the beast shot out a black beam of dark energy, barely missing Esdon, but making a direct hit on Krayt. Krayt had never felt dark energy used on him before, and he could not exactly define the feeling, only that it had its own version of pain like no other.

Hero lowered his arms from his face and looked at himself. No damage had been done physically, but inside Hero felt like something had been torn out of place.

"Man...Ive never felt dark energy attacks before, but they kind of hurt" Krayt said as he clenched his stomach.

"Pathetic fool, you were harmed by a meager blast like that!?" The creature bellowed proudly. He then turned and blasted off at an incredible speed.

"Go on after him...I think that blast did more damage then he was intending..." Krayt said as he slowly lowered himself to the ground.

OoC: You said you wanted challenges and quests, so why not let the creature leave, and we hunt it down later, but its your choice. Im sorry this is short, but this time Im in a hurry! (I have to make Krayt seem vulnerable, thats why I chose dark energy as a source that could also hurt him)

OoC: Hello, Lord of Hunters and Hero. I think I will be using a new character that I just recently got approved, who I need to break in. His name is Vylanos, but I don't have a link in my sig... I'll give an OoC post when I do. Until then, I'll try my best not to take control like I have a tendency to do!

BiC:

Vylanos sprinted through the clearing in the woods, wary to stay away from the footprints of the creature that he had been tracking through these parts. It was large, from the looks of it, and would warrant a very nice reward indeed. He had been following this thing for the past few days now, covering about a distance of 150 miles on foot, but it would be worth it is this thing fetched him a small treasure.

When he broke out of tree cover, the first thing he saw was the behemoth lying in the middle of the road, dazed but recovering. The next thing he noticed was a man with blue hair standing next to some sort of being that had, if possible, a look on concern on its face.

After another quick exchange of blows, the creature spoke, its voice crackling like rocks grinding, but the words lost from where Vylanos was. It turned around and rushed into the horizon, leaving not even a discernible trail to follow. It looked like he would have to find it by chance again. He walked over to the two on the road.

"Greetings, fellow travelers," he chimed with a smile on his face, trying to act like he had not seen their encounter with the behemoth, "What brings you down this particular road? One could get hurt by predators... or worse... on such a day as this!"

The two looked at him as though he were insane. If they only knew, he thought.

OoC: And LoH, not trying to be rude or judgmental, but could you use quotes when you're having someone speak? It was hard for me to figure out what was happening... again, just to help us out...

OoC: Your post sort of changed the story in the battle, Tacheon. Hero and Esmond were flying through the air when Hero was zapped by dark energy and forced to land, lets just say you came into the battle around that part, since I am confused as what to do now...

BiC:

Krayt payed little attention to the man who had greeted him and his new comrade. The pain inside of him was starting to grow, and soon visions began to flow through his head. Krayt tryed to ignore them but they were too strong. Then everything started to go black....

Krayt found himself floating in space, looking at the earth below. The earth was so peaceful from this view. Everything was so calm, it was almost as if nothing was going on....

Suddenly the earth began to glow brightly, and red cracks began to appear along the sphere. The earth then began to vibrate, and the light intensified. Suddenly the earth erupted into a huge explosion, engulfing Krayt in blast.

Krayt screamed loudly, but he was eventually silenced when he saw two figures in the light.

"You have failed us son, you failed to protect the earth" They both said together.

They then began to repeat the phrase over and over again. Krayt then felt himself falling into a vortex of darkness. He then heard the voices of all the evil ones he had defeated.

"Welcome to Hell Krayt, time to enjoy your stay with us" A familiar voice said.

"Apocalypse...." Krayt muttered.

"HEY WAKE UP!!" Someone screamed.

Krayts eyes shot open, and he found himself lying on a bed in a hospital....

OOC: It's esdon and as I said in his post he prefers to be killed the hunter so unless you want a fight to break out call him that. Nice posts anyway.

BIC: Esdon smiled as hero came to holding his head & looking like he just came back from the dead.(Esdon new the appearace after looking in a mirror after such an event)
You ok said esdon calmly.
Yeah but dark magic is a new thing to me he said back.
Esdon patted him on the back & commented with a smile at least the creature was heading the wrong way the temple of lifes in the other direction.
Whats so important about this temple of life said the man in the corner.
Esdon glared at him knowing perfectly well he saw the creature fighting them.
Well he said looking upwards paying no attention to either of the men.
The temple of life is a place were the planets life essence flows through said esdon rembering it like it was yesterday.
If this channel is bloked the planets core will die & so the planet will destroy itself.
So Said hero taking his hand off his head & looking around the strange wooden room with a straw roof. This creature wants to destroy the temple there by destroying the world.
Yup that about covers it said esdon walking up to the window & opening it to let stri his eagle friend in.
At this the door opened & a old man who had been listening at the door got dragged away by two guards wearing iron armour.
No were all doomed yelled the man trying to get away from the guards.
Yeah the skies going to fall said one of the guards sarcasticly.
Esdon quickly shut the door & looked back at the two men.
So you guys ready to hunt that thing said esdon smiling & helping hero out of bed. The man in the corner with still a shocked look on it's face grined.
I'm in said the man.

OoC: Sorry this took so long, Ive been real busy! Okay time to continue the fight!

BiC:

Hero walked out of the hospital and into the croded streets of the city. It was an enourmous town, but still primitive compared to Cronomassa. (A futuristic city from one of my other battles) Hero stepped out onto the cobblestones and listened to the music that the bards were playing nearby.

"You guys look around if you want to, Im going to see if I can find out anything about that creature. I'll meet you guys back here if I find anything," Hero said as he walked off into the crowd of people.

The crowd was enormous, and most of them eyed Hero's outfit with curiousity. This was obviously the poor section of town, since everyone was dressed in rags and scrounging around the trash barrels. Hero then noticed a man being pestered by three other guys.

The sytonian walked over to see that they were trying to mug him! But they were doing it in the middle of the street!

"I...I dont have what ye wunt! Sss..See! I I Im broke! Poor! Rupeeless!" The man studdered out.

"Oi, thaz to bad mate, the boss o dis town wont like that newz one bit!" One of the oafish men said.

"Looks like we'll be beaten the crap outta ye then!" The roughest looking man added.

"Were gonna ask ye one more time before we deliver your hands as compensation, give us the 300 rupee's ya owe!" The leader of the group warned.

"No no...uhh...j..just give me a a few mer dayz! I...I'll have yer money then!" The man tried to reason.

"Sorry mate, thats not goin go down like dat!" The oafish man said as he cracked his knucles.

"And ya can furget the sorry part!" The roughest looking man said as he drew out a small knife.

The crowd of people in the area slowly stopped and backed up against the walls. Everyone was real quiet, and didnt even bother to help the man! It was as if crime ruled the city in this section!

The man slowly got down on his knees and begged for mercy, but the thugs were too blood thirsty to listen. Just as the roughest looking man stepped forward with his knife, Krayt stepped out of the crowd.

"Listen, it doesnt have to come to this. I can give you 150 rupees, and we can forget this whole thing ever happened," Hero tried to reason.

"Ha, this guys funny! You better give us that money just fer speakin outta line brat!" The biggest man snarled as he stepped forward, trying to intimidate Hero.

"Im warning you, just leave and take the money, it will save you alot of trouble" Hero pleaded again.

"Sorry junior dat aint happenin!!" The big man yelled. He then pulled his arm back and sucker punched Hero right in the jaw.

"OWWW!!! God damnit!! OOOWWW!!" The man screamed as he clenched his throbbing hand. The crowd slowly began whispering amongst one another.

"Thaz it, take this!!" The roughest looking man screamed as he dashed forward with his knife, trying to stab Hero in the chest. But just as he neared the sytonian, Hero grabbed the mans wrist, lifted him up off the ground, twirled him around, and threw him straight through a nearby store.

"Anyone else?" Hero asked.

The biggest thug stood up and slowly began to back away. The leader of the group however, had already taken off running and was halfway down the street. The crowd then cheered at Hero as he went to check up on the man.

"Here, if they come by again give them this" Hero said as he gave the man a pouch full of about 150 rupees. The man tried to thank Hero, but he motioned him to be quiet.

"Your safety is thanks enough," Hero said as he turned away to continue his search for clues.

"If only this town had more people like him" One of the townsfolk commented....

OoC: Krayt is out searching for clues right now. I just wanted to add that little side story to show what kind of a city we are in, and what kind of a person Hero really is.

OOC: good side story hero very well done.

BIC: Esdon smiled from the building he was resting on he had just watched hero fend off some thugs to save a man and on top of that gave him some money too. Esdon fell far too slowly off the edge that all the men & woman around him stared in amazement. After his graceful fall he walked off down a street with his cloak flipping up in the light breeze as he went. Esdon new this town for he spent a week here before he went into the forest where he was attacked. Many of the town’s folk know his name & as he walked down the streets past crowds he heard people mumbling his name over and over.
Look there’s the hunter, wow I thought the hunter left, God bless the hunter. They were saying this because when he was here last he killed the leader of the biggest gangs in the town which caused it members to flee the town & there by reducing the crime but like all towns crime was still there.

Esdon walked into a bar which he knew would be able to update his knowledge on the creature. The bar was dark with 4 tables in the open space. Esdon glanced round the room there was about 7 people sitting quietly sipping there ales Esdon ignored them & walked up to the bar tender who had her back to him & was washing some cups her blue hair an unnatural colour for a human which Esdon new she wasn't but her cloths were the most unusual part of the bar lady she wore a leather vest with a lose white top. On top of that she wore white pants that hung over the top of her boots, she looked more like a warrior than a bar maid. Esdon coughed to catch her attention. She span round holding a dagger which was posed at the tip of his throat. She was glaring at him but the glare left her face as her eyes met his.
Sorry said her sweet voice calmly as she sheathed her dagger.
Hi Laura he said casually as he sat down while watching her watch him I need some info on a large black demon calling himself the destroyer if worlds.
At the name Laura flinched and glanced around the room cheeking no one was watching before she spoke again but it was in a whisper which Esdon had to lean forwards to hear.
A black demon calling himself that has been sighted northward he’s been killing many & has destroyed many towns claming to be searching for the temple of life but you & I both know that’s south of here not north. She smiled & cheeked the room again for anyone who could be listening then continued the creature has been sighted in the hills of Kenmak east of the city of Menotres it seems to stay in that area when it’s not terrorising town folk. Esdon ears picked up a foot step behind him so he span round drawing a sword & trusting it into the cause of the sound. His sword found his target & an invisible wolfo became visible hunched over with Esdon sword in it.
God I though the magic shield on the door was still holding said Laura going back to cleaning a glass.

Well remember huntress are good at finding out things we shouldn’t she said while smiling sweetly. With this Esdon dropped 50 rupees on the counter & walked out waving to Laura behind him. As he left he heard yelling that stopped abruptly then a second later a dead body was being thrown out the door Esdon guessed someone had forgotten to pay there bar tab.

OOC: I posted this so people can understand what kind of people my character hangs out with which will in turn explains how he act’s( note the people my character hangs out with are good it’s just they have a lot of enemies.
