How to Deal With Annoyances (Kiri)
OoC: Finally, eh?
![]() BiC: “Lalala,” came a voice, quite feminine and high, almost overly so. “Walking through a forest... yays. Heheh. Same old, same old. Talking to no one as usual too. Oh, fun. Maybe I should stop now. Okay, now. Gah, this is so hard...” Gloria pouted, crossing her arms and turning her attention to the floor. Her wings drooped slightly, knowing every action she was making now was in vain. It all felt so forced. It was the usual strolling through the forest for the pixie/fairy. She was unusually still on this date and time for an unknown reason, despite her constant bickering with herself. While woods or anything even remotely in touch with nature usually had her bounding off trees with energy, today she was not. Her large lilac eyes merely surveyed every leaf and insect as she calmly took another step. Her mind was a complete blank, no questions spilling out of her as usual. There was really nothing new to ask of, it looked like a very average forest. I wonder what's the matter here. Oh, hey! I'm wondering again! Woo! She couldn't help but leap at such a feeble thought. Her face gleamed with a new found hope, only to find again that she had not progressed at all. It had been this way since she entered the forest a few dozen minutes back. I must spark my interest! I mean, how am I ever going to live if a forest doesn't entertain me. Really now. I didn't even know that was like... possible! Her wings fluttered a bit, and folded themselves on her back, preparing to venture farther into the deeper sections of the woods where the trees grew closer together and mysteries were abundant. He! I hope I find something cool, oh, I really do. She wiggled her way through a pair of trees, knowing that the deeper in the forest, the more energy she would feel, what with being immersed into nature. So, as she tore through the massive gathering of trees and stumbled into a clearing, a look of pure enjoyment was radiating from her childish face. “Ooo, what a pretty clearing!” she exclaimed, knowing full well that it was hardly possible for a clearing to be anything near the word pretty. Nonetheless, she walked around it smiling. “Maybe I'll just sit here and enjoy the surroundings.” Loudly she planted herself on the floor, crossing her legs and arms, neck craning to observe the tips of the trees. “Pretty, pretty...” Beginning to whistle a very off key tune, she closed her eyes, 'taking in the nature' as she liked to put it. Had she not done this, she would not have heard a close rustle. Had she not heard that rustle, she would not have promptly stood up, preparing herself to meet with whatever had made this rustle. And, had she not done that, then perhaps she would not have angered the very man that would change her life. Change not being a very fitting word.

Re: How to Deal With Annoyances (Kiri)
For an unholy god, there wasn’t usually such a thing as ‘sacred ground’. To this particular unholy god however, this entire forest was his sacred ground. His presence in it caused the few animals that remained to go silent. The older creatures remembered the formerly white-haired man.
The forest itself seemed to recognize Gorin. How couldn’t it? He had spent the first eighteen years of his first life in this forest, amassing a wealth of memories, few of which were good. It was this forest that shaped and molded him into the ruthless killer he was today. Kaja stopped in front of a large redwood, wide as a house. This tree too held memories. The imperfect deity could remember the times when he thought that it was a god, and had prayed to it for protection from travelers and wild animals. That protection never came. Even when he had learned of true gods from the belongings of slain trespassers, nobody listened to his prayers. He would spend endless days and nights preparing sacrifices of travelers and animals, to no avail. The countless nights he’d spent alone, crying until he had no more tears… Gorin snarled and punched the tree, driving his fist in as far as the length of his arm would allow. This place definitely wasn’t a happy place for him, but it was still his. He pulled his arm out and brushed the bark and splinters off of it. He turned to leave when a sudden noise struck his ears. Somebody was in his forest, whistling terribly. Gorin clenched his fists and darted in the direction of the noise. Whoever it was, they were going to pay dearly for trespassing. The god stopped just before a clearing, one with meaning similar to the redwood, and took a look at the cause of his rage. It seemed to be a fairy of some kind. A girl fairy. He knew just how he was going to punish this trespasser. “You,” he said, stepping into the clearing. “Do you know how much **** you’re in now?!” OOC: I love the title. Gorin's very good at dealing with annoyances. ![]()
