The True Ballroom Dance (Southern Belle)
Jezebel looked up at the wonderful evening sky, as she laid sleepy in one of the many trees still left in the city. The city of Moberget was slowly quietly down in busy and so was Jezebel. She hadn’t been given anything new to do and chose to rest in this city for the night under the sky. She’d grown to love sleeping under the sky at night. The large orange-reddish clouds that watched over the area tonight formed in shapes of all different things. Jezebel looked at each one trying to come up with what each one could be as she tried to fall asleep in the tree.
“Cow, pig, rat, sword, car, and a big bird?” She said seeing a large creator that looked so much a bird fly closer toward her and the city. It missive claws held something shaped like a flat box with a ribbon wrap around it. The young women didn’t like the looks of the thing as it dropped the long box out of the sky. The box flew down through the air and crushed at the bottom of the tree she was it. Jezebel glanced down at the box and her fear came true. “Damn them… why can’t they leave me a lone!” she yelled staring at the marking of the holy church on the middle of the box. What could yeah want that they need to send a box to me? Well I better take a look before someone else find it, she thought jumping down from the tree landing beside the item. Slowly she loosened the red ribbon off the box and pulled the top away. She saw a letter that was placed on top of a beautiful dark green silk gown. She didn’t look at the dress for long, but when right for the letter that came with it. She thinking even want to think about what they wanted her to do, but she knew by the fancy clothes she was going to enjoy it much. She begun to open the letter, taking she sweet time, wishing it would burn with the dress. Jezebel, this job I’m asking of you I already know your not going to like it. It calls for you to be a lady for once in yourself life. Please, this is very important that you go to the Saint lovely ballroom tonight and help the guard the holy event for us. If we had anyone else in the place you are at we would not be asking you of this. In the box is a hand made dress I had the church make for you before you left. You’ll need to wear it or they would like you into the ballroom. Thank you, Jezebel. “Damn, you asking me to go to a party on my free time and in a dress no less! Oh well!” she yelled ripping the letter into piece. “Better get this over with.” She glared back down at the box and saw the soft green dress laying there neatly folded. At the end of the box a pair of three-inch high heels sat. “Oh, great,” She mumbled picking up the box and walked off to find a place to change. *** Jezebel stood in front of the building after fighting with her dress and getting use to walking in heels again. Ever step she took in her heels were short slow ones that made it seem like forever just to walk up the stairs. The thin strap of her dress keep falling down off her shoulder and she feel like she was going to step on the dress because how close it was to the ground. She couldn’t wait to enter the place and find somewhere to sit. “Welcome Miss, I hope you have a lovely time tonight,” the man at the door said waving her on through. Jezebel gave him a bow and walked through the door to see the wonderful ballroom. Music she never heard before played in the background and there was already dancer on the floor. She slowly made her way to a table and sit down resting hating every minute… |

Re: The True Ballroom Dance (Southern Belle)
Luna sat in her workshop, tapping her fingers impatiently against the side of her chair. Dark shapes shifted in the corners of the room, but she paid them no mind. A moment later, in an outburst of fury, she reached out and struck the silver dish before her, sending it clattering to the floor. Water droplets flew through the air, scattering around the dish.
"Someone is hiding her," the sorceress remarked darkly. "And I intend to find out who." She called forward one of her earth elementals. "Have you managed to learn anything?" The creature shook its head. "There have been no leads as to the girl's whereabouts." Luna frowned, and made a motion to dismiss it. "However..." it began slyly. Luna raised an eyebrow. "Yes?" "It would seem that there is a ball being held tonight. A holy affair." Luna made a noise of contempt, but otherwise said nothing. The elemental continued. "We think someone there is helping to protect her. You may be able to get some information out of them..." Luna grinned. At last, a lead! "Who is this person?" "A priest," it said. "It would seem she took shelter in his church. He may be able to tell you where she is now." A glint of malice glittered in the Hylian's eye. Priests were so much fun to torment... "What protection will he have?" The elemental made a dismissive motion. "The holy order are fools, they have but a single guard, a young girl...." Luna's grin widened. Ah yes, this would be all too easy... ***** She stood before the ballroom, an impressive figure in the night. Her dress was a deep black, that seemed to hint at blues when she moved. It had only one sleeve, which came in tight around the elbow and then flared out around the wrist. On her right side the dress had three thin straps that went over her shoulder. It pooled around her ankles, seeming to flow around her as she walked. Her hair cascaded around her shoulders, hanging loose around her face. She had even worn heels. After all, these things were no fun if you couldn't make a dramatic entrance. In the ball room, everything went dark. Flashes of lightning crackled outside the windows, giving just enough light to show the scared faces of the people inside. Creatures of flame and earth appeared in the corners with a small pop. And, standing at the top of the stairs, there was Luna, looking positively terrifying. "Well now!" She called, holding her staff in her left hand. It was a deep blue black, matching her dress. "It would seem that some of you have taken to harbouring my enemies..." A wave of her hand sent a fireball shooting straight up, where it hung over the high ceiling. Light flickered eerily over the room. "I must say, that was not wise..." OoC: You gotta love the drama queens. ![]()

Re: The True Ballroom Dance (Southern Belle)
Jezebel sat at her table drinking water wondering why she had to be here. Everything to her seemed normal as she watched the others dance on the dance floor. She couldn’t wait for some reason to get out of her heels. The music turned to a slower beat and she couldn’t help, but be in a bad mood. Soon she heard a women voice and watch as everyone begun to run. Jezebel glared at the woman and saw monster form around the place. Tsk… I thought trouble would never show.
Jezebel watched as the new woman in her beautiful Blackish blue dress walked down the stair without any trouble. It almost made her sick thinking about how she was the only one that could walk in her heels. She acted like she didn’t even noticing Luna taking off her black heels and placing them by the chair. “So, where enemies at?” Luna asked glancing around the room to see a sole woman in a pretty green dress. Waving her hand to one of the creators around to go get Jezebel. The chain user couldn’t see what was going on, but she looked up to see and little girl in front of her. “Miss your from the church, right? That’s the marking of the holy church on your arm, right?” She asked holding on to Jezebel’s arm. She had forgotten that the mark was showing clear. “Tsk, so that was he’s plan,” She said still not understand what was going on. “Run a long or you’ll get hurt.” With that a chain flew out of her arm grabbing the creator that was working his way to her by the neck. The chain held tight as it lifted the demon off its feet. With one swing she tossed the demon towards Luna that just made in down stairs. The being crushed into the wall next to her and jezebel stood up making her way to the dance floor with her chain out moving like a snake around her. “I have to thank you one day,” She said coldly reaching the dance floor. “You gave me a reason to get out those heels.” With a half smile she turned and glared at the woman at had more class then her. “But it seems you can here for a different party then these people.” OoC: You got to love any queen. |

Re: The True Ballroom Dance (Southern Belle)
Luna smiled coldly down at the girl, unconcerned by the challenger. The elemental had already stood again and appeared no worse for the wear, though perhaps angry. This must be the protection the church hired... Luna thought. They clearly underestimated the threat.
"If you really wanted to thank me," she said quietly, infusing a bit of magic into the words. "Then you would leave me alone to go about my business. I have no intention of hurting anyone unnecessarily -- this is no concern of yours." She didn't expect Charm to work on the girl, for though she did not appear to be very strong, the holy order would not have hired a complete weakling to protect their little ball. Still, it was worth a try. As expected, the girl in green showed no signs of being affected by the minor magic. "I have a job to do. I must protect these people -- and if that means fighting you and your monsters, so be it." Luna laughed. "My monsters? Dear, naive little girl... is it possible you do not know what Elementals are?" She cast an eye on the Elemental standing nearest her, one of earth -- the very same elemental that the girl had attacked. "Well, it doesn't matter anyways. I doubt I'll need their help, for you..." She waved her hand again, sending a massive burst of fire towards the girl. Dancers fell over themselves in their hurry to get out of the way. The girl dodged it easily, and sent a length of chain flying towards Luna, a golden spike on the end aimed directly for her. The sorceress did not even bother dodging. Her staff clicked once on the ground, causing a mighty tremble to shake the ball room, sending the girl in green to her feet and making the chain pull back so that it bounced on the floor with a ringing clatter. Luna stood unconcernedly on the steps, not having moved from her place at all since making her declaration. She looked down at the girl, a mocking smile on her lips. "It's not to late to give up," she said quietly, her voice clear over the sounds of panicked dancers. Her dark eyes looked down on the girl, uncaring as to if she chose to fight or quit now. The end result would be the same, either way.

Re: The True Ballroom Dance (Southern Belle)
Jezebel just laughed at want Luna requested of her. Jezbel’s hand lighting touched her forehead trying to stop herself from laughing. Not only didn’t Luna make these fun she made funny comments. “Think you’re strong do you?” Jezebel said stopping from laughing. A chain had being breaking through the woods of the ballroom. It was just below Luna waiting for the right time to attack.
The muti-color lights of the ballroom flashed into Jezebel’s eyes like it was counting down to her next move. Everything in the room became quiet and that one chain swayed under Luna waiting for its prey. Then Jezebel’s eyes closed and the chain crush through the wood grabbing Luna leg pulling her down through the floor. Jezebel calmly stood up as Luna body was pulled through many broads of woods and finally tossed through the floor into the air. Jezebel stepped away from the hole letting her chain disappear like what happen was normal. “You should stay on your guard little girl. I’m not going to be taken out that fast,” she said rolling her neck around, before glancing over at Luna. |
