Night time winds at Moon Lake (up to three others can join)

OoC: Well, up to three other people can join this, so let's begin. I'll be using Erani, of course.

BiC: Arriving at a town called Casterway, Erani struggled to make it there. She was dying of thirst, having not drunk any water for over a day. Erani hoped Casterway would have water, however it was in the desert. The likelihood of the town having plenty of water wasn't very high. Still, the town was Erani's only hope for water. When she entered the town, she noticed humans inhabited it and it was full of life and business.

Walking through the town, Erani decided to ask one of the townsfolk about water. She approached a blonde woman wearing a dress.

"Hey, is there any water in this town?" Erani asked, feeling as thirsty as ever. The woman sensed her problem.

"Oh, you poor dear," she said. "You look parched. And being a Centaur, you need a good big drink! We have water at the market, but it's closed right now, I'm afraid." A frown formed on Erani's face. She desperately needed a drink.

"Is there anywhere else I can find water?" she asked quickly. The woman nodded. She pointed to the other side of town.

"Yes, if you go that way, you'll eventually arrive at Moon Lake," the woman replied. "That's our source of water. It's a big lake surrounded by some palm trees. You can't miss it."

"Oh, thank you!" Erani exclaimed. She started for the other side of town.

"You're welcome!" the woman called back. Erani looked back and smiled.

Erani galloped with the little strength she had left. Going as fast as she could, she raced for the other side of Casterway. However, she soon noticed it was getting dark. And she knew deserts grew very cold at that time. Erani needed to hurry. All she had on was her oak leaf top and that would not keep her warm. Her fur would keep her horse body warm, but not the rest of her.

When she arrived at the other side of Casterway, a sign stuck in the ground read "Moon Lake this way" and had an arrow pointing to the right. Erani followed it and soon noticed a lake in the distance. Mighty palm trees surrounded the beautiful big lake just as the woman said. The water was clean and gleamed in the moonlight soaring overhead from the rising moon.

Running up to the lake, Erani couldn't wait to gulp down mouthfuls of water. She stopped at the lake's edge and drank. The water felt so good going down her throat that she felt her strength returning instantly. However, just as she was almost finished with her big drink, she heard noises coming from the other side. But she didn't move.

OoC: Those noises will have to be caused by the characters that join, just to point that out.

OoC: Alright! Here I go. I will be using Keldar the Demon Spawn, the link is in my sig.

BiC: I flew over the town of Casterway, the people below were pointing up at me with amazed expressions. I could not hear what he was saying but I am pretty sure it was something along the lines of, "That man is flying!" or "Oh my god, that man is flying!". Part of me wanted to fly down there and do a couple of loops and spins, but I had important work to do. I spotted a demon somewhere near Moon Lake. I checked its aura and it showed that he recently broke several of the rules in the Demon Code. It had now fallen on me to banish him to the abyss.

I reached Moon Lake and landed near the water. Across the lake I saw a figure. I sent a dark pulse of magic throught he area and could feel no demon. The only thing in the area was a Centaur drinking water across the lake. I hovered slowly across the water, keeping my body very close to the calm water so I did not startle the Centaur. A chill went through my essence when I reached the middle of the lake, the demon was beneath me.

I knew I had to fly over to the land to draw the demon out of the water. Within seconds I landed on the sand, the demon following close behind. A few seconds after I reached the land the demon emerged from the water. He was atleast ten feet tall and his wings were at least twice the size of his body. His eyes burned with a dark flame and he reached up his clawed glowing hand to hit me with a dark blast of fire. the demon scramed and stepped forward as I pulled out my sword and held it in a defenseive position as I began the banishment incantation.

OoC: Awesome! First person to join! Awwww yeah! There it is.

Ooc: Ill be using Samen. I havent used him in a while.

Bic:

Samen had found a nice town. Quiet. Calm. Perfect place to begin his destruction. Samen sprout a new flash of fire. Just making sure his powers still worked. After all since he had been defeated by Lothreian and his cursed friends, he had been thrown into the river. He lost his powers for a limited time. He was almost killed in the attack.

He walked into town and an elderly lady walked up to him. He looked at her.

"Are you okay sir? You look tired. Have you travled far?" asked the woman.

"I have indeed. Only to do this though." He laughed as a fire ball shot from his hands and into the house. The house instantly caught fire. He walked down the main street hitting every house in a similar fashion. Soldiers charged at him. He allowed the first one to attack. He disapeared and repeared behind him. He through flames onto the soldiers. A long flame jet sprout from his palms as he hit the soldiers flinging them backwards into burning buildings.

H laughed as their pained cries filled the air. He had burned the entire village and kept walking. He saw a pond surrounded by palm trees. He quickly set fire to them and kept walking. Suddenly two figures burst from the fire and ran away to a safer area. Samen quickly telaported in front of them.

"Now the fun begins." Laughed Samen IN his insane voice.

Ooc: May I use Lothreian to? They are kind of mortal enemies. Just asking.

Oh and Ill be gone for a week so if I dont post for a while, thats why.

OoC: Whoa, does this need continuing.

BiC: As Erani drank, she suddenly heard cries coming from town. She spat out the water in her mouth as the cries startled her. Unsheathing her blade, she raced back towards town, noticing a creature causing great destruction. He appeared to be a human, but Erani saw him controlling fire and using other magic abilities. She could plainly see that humans were not capable of performing that art. And even worse, Erani was weak to fire.

Erani stood there at the edge of town, wondering what she should do. Suddenly, she remembered the fire. What was the one thing that could easily penetrate fire? Water! Erani decided to catch the creature's attention and lure him back to the lake. She quietly crept up to him, her blade held tightly in her hand.

"Hey! Why don't you pick on somebody your own size?!" Erani shouted to the creature. He jerked his head in her direction at the sound of her voice. The creature cackled.

"Like you?" he replied. "Very well then." Erani's eyes slightly widened as the creature made a ball of fire appear in his hand. She began to run back to the lake, hoping the creature would follow. However, when she was half way there, Erani suddenly noticed something in the sky. It appeared to be yet another human, but it wasn't. Humans couldn't fly. What is that...? Erani asked herself. The flying human began to descend. As it got closer, Erani saw that it wasn't a human at all. It was some kind of shadow wielder.

Ignoring it, Erani came to a fast stop and slid in the dirt in front of the lake. She turned around and leaped over the fire bearing creature and got ready to throw him in the lake. she reared up on her hind legs, but all of a sudden, the "shadow wielder" came diving towards the fire bearer and entered Erani's path. She wound up sending both of them into the water. She gasped.

"Oh no..." she mumbled. Fearing the two creatures would attack her with powers she could not defend herself from, she ran for her life, heading straight towards Casterway again.

OoC: ... it has acutally been so long that Keldar in this RP has no use now. So I have to drop out... please don't kill me!

OOC: This looks like a good story so I'm joining if that’s all right. I'll be using my character Esdon(link in sig).

BIC: Esdon Walked calmly thought the shadow of a deserted alleyway noting but rubbish and sandstone buildings in view. God this town a mess thought Esdon, out of all the places he'd seen this place was rather dirty and Esdon being a paladin meant he enjoyed being clean. Esdon continued to walk and ended up on a large main street with many people hurrying here and there buying things from varying stools set up along the street. Esdon wasn't interested in any of these little stores he was looking for a blacksmith to fix one of his many daggers. Esdon was rather annoyed at the fact that he couldn't see a thing because of the sheer amount of people and he was getting a rather bad headache from all the noise.

"Curse my sharp ears", Esdon mumbled. Then like a bomb had just went off a large house set ablaze and many more buildings burst into flames in turn. Esdon drew his bow and knocked two arrows at the same time and started running towards the burning buildings while avoiding the hundreds of panicking people. Esdon was rather sick of the fact that he couldn't get near the building because of the crowd, Esdon then did the easiest thing he could think of. Esdon raised his palm and fired an orb of light above his head which he then caused to explode just above him cause nearby people to get knocked over by the blast. Instantly everyone around Esdon started to back away giving him enough room to spot a man holding a fireball walking after a centaur.
Esdon then put two and two together and decided to follow the man. As he came closer to him he realised that he wasn't the only thing after the man with the fireball, there was a black creature circling over head and he was getting lower with each rotation. Esdon also noticed that the centaur was standing by a lake surrounded in burning palm trees. As the man got closer the centaur reared its hind legs but as it started to kicked the creature circling dived at the man and both were kicked into the lake. Esdon smiled at the fault in the centaurs plan, it wasn’t prepared for others attacking the man and ended up trying to drown both of them. Esdon then watched as the centaur run off panicking. At this Esdon ran to the edge of the lake and aimed his bow for the water. He was planning on killing the fire mage when his powers were at there weakest.
