Ahh, the sea. Nothing better than the smell of salt in your nose and the sight of the ships at dock, and sun falling into the water. Even though it doesn’t really do that, the light across the surface, moving with the waves, is always a pleasant view.

Dawn and silence. A nice combination to awake too. Taen lay there for a while, his senses kicking in, he yawned and stretched, muscles pulling then relaxing, getting ready for the day.

A dark feeling overcame him. He looked to the empty space in his bed and sighed. He wished for someone to accompany him on his journey. The past few months had left him without anyone to bond with. Though he met many people, he wasn’t there long enough o get close. And even though he always had the company of the Dragons, it wasn't the same as an actual person. He hated it. He didn’t want to seem pushy and force someone to come along. They probably had better things to do anyway.

He forced himself out of bed, the wood floor biting at his feet. He dressed himself and combed his hair. After fixing himself up, he went downstairs.

No one was there. The drunks from last night had already gone home, and many of the social drinkers wouldn’t be around until late. Others who came to just hang out and chat would be here around noon. Until then, he had the whole place to himself, save for the bartender, and the occasional person or two that might walk in.

The bar had windows that faced the seas with a wonderful view. It was one of its trademarks. Customers could look out at the ocean without being blinded by the sun, being if they came later in the day that is.

A distant sun. It was always there, ever day. Yet he never noticed it much. Until now. Until he finally saw it there, alone, in its majesty. It was so close, yet so far away. A contradiction. He went over to the window and looked about.

A ship appeared on the horizon. At first he assumed that it might be some trade ship, sailors perhaps. But as it got closer, and the sails became more visible, the deathly symbol of the sea’s hell grew close.

Pirates.

The grand scale of the pirate ship astounded the onlookers. It was in sight, but there was still some time to ready the defenses before it arrived. This was no normal ship, but rather, a ship that had been praying on merchant ships and small settlements in the ring of islands where they lurked. They were heading to this town, but, interestingly enough, not as the hunters to consume this city.

A defeat had just been handed to the small city they had absolutely destroyed. All that was valuable that could be taken was stolen on sight, and as for the people, those who had agreed to join the pirate crew of the massive vessel, the Waterloo, were spared, but all others were slain without even the slightest bit of mercy. It was as these pirates were regrouping to leave that they ran into trouble.

A man had arrived in the city as it fell that eradicated a good deal of the foolish pirates, and some had engaged him in battle. This man was a powerful swordsman, and he defeated those that crossed him and tried to steal what he had on him. This man seemed powerful, and almost demon-esque to these pirates, sending them fleeing from the scene of the battle, or lack thereof.

Captain Bartholomew lead his forces out of the city, but even as they retreated, a warrior pursued. This man's flowing green hair and vivid green eyes pierced the soul of those who acted in such a violent and vicious way. Some of the pirates barely heard the sound of his blade leaving the sheath as this man struck them down. When all were onto the boat and were escaping, Zorlo pursued, even if the only ship he had to follow them in was a single person vessel.

For the next three days, the Aura Master sat in his small vessel, following the massive pirate ship that floated towards the next town. The fencer sat in silence on the boat, floating quietly through the open waters with his sheathed sword resting next to him in the boat. The slow movement that yielded no land quickly drove the green haired man's supplies out, but even so, he couldn't give up on the pursuit. It just wasn't in his nature.

However, as dawns first light on the fourth day came above the horizon, a settlement appeared. The foolish pirates, rather then leading the fencer out into open sea and starving him to death, had instead lead him into a battlefield. Now it was all too simple. The Aura Master smiled as he wrapped his right hand around the sheath of his sword and stood up. His left hand drifted onto the handle of sword and with a quick motion, the Aura Master leapt into the air.

His green jacket fluttering behind him as his grip tightened on the handle and the fencer unsheathed his sword and gathered his aura into the blade. His sword soon began to glow with the covering an emerald green flame. The fencer's natural aura burned brightly as he swung his sword down with great force, throwing a massive blade of pure aura, aimed expressly at the ship.

The blade moved with great speed, and when it rammed into the ship, the energy wave ripped through the ship, splitting it entirely in half and causing both sides to fall in to their respective sides. All those who hadn't died from the unseen attack fled the remains of the ship, however many of them had, and headed for shore. Even with their losses, they were still some of the most fierce pirates there were.

The green haired man slowly floated down towards his boat, sheathing his sword back up and landing gently, and gracefully, on the boat. The Aura Master watched as the boat floated towards the dock. He'd get off their and round up the remnants of these pirates. The fencer's main goal was the captain, because word had it he was a powerful warrior.

Akita looked at the town. Destroyed, demolished, burned, ravaged, ruined, ransacked, . . . . . . death. The smell in the air filled Akita's nose. How she hated this smell. The smell of death and decay. So many of the towns looked the same in the small archipelago she had been traveling threw.

"But who would do such a thing to these innocent people?"

Akita knew she was just fooling herself. She knew who had been responsible. A pack of pirates. Led by the infamous Captain Bartholomew. Akita knew this from a young boy she had found. Barely alive, the child told her what happened. Before he died that is.

Akita's dragon blood was burning. She wanted nothing more than to anvenge the young boy's death. How she wanted to rip out the throat of Bartholomew. Making people suffer for his own amusment. It burned Akita up on the inside. Akita knew where the pirate ship lay anchor. The volcanic island of Citadark. A vile island where only the badest of the bad go.

Akita watched some pirates running off towards there boat. A man was chasing them. Had it not been for Akita's keen eyes, she would have missed them. A man dressed in green carring a blade. A blade Akita had never seen before. And his aura. She could feel this man's aura, in great waves, even though they were on the opposite sides of the town. Who is this man? Whoever he is, he is unbelievably powerful. Is he with the pirates?

Akita sensed he could not be with the pirates. His aura was not tinged with the blood of innocent people. Akita ran down the slopping hill into the portside town. She too would give chase to these thieving pirates and slay them all. My dragonform would be most useful at the moment. But i don't think showing these people that an Obsidian in there town would most apease them. Akita would wait till she was out into the ocean before she transformed. Then she would swim the rest of the way in her dragon form to confront the pirates.

Taen stood in the crowd, unmoved by the pirate ship coming closer and closer. While parts of the crowd deteriorated, and people ran with their fear, he stood still, unmoved. He would stay. For no reason other than to fight, and defend. He had seen too many times where the strongest warriors would run in fright to save their own skins, rather than defend the innocent. They were warriors with no honor, for to have honor, you must be willing to sacrifice. To give everything even for so little.

Anticipation lingered in the air. The clouds knew what was coming. All of nature could tell of the impending horror that approached. Then, unexpectedly, an earsplitting scream of an explosion shattered the glass silence. People panicked, many ran from it, hoping to escape, while others stood there, turning from the source of the sound, covering their ears.

Many voices burst through. Taen hear one saying that one of the cannons had exploded prematurely, while one other said that he saw a greenish light, so that it must have come from somewhere else. Taen had no clue, so he had no say in the matter. The ship sunk beneath the waters to it’s grave, but the pirates didn’t follow it there.

There were still many more, jumping to the water, swimming to land. Taen wondered whether or not to pull out his blade, to attack once they came in good enough distance to attack. Or to wait, and see how it would turn out. He had little time to examine the situation.

They had arrived. The pirates stood on land, readying their swords. They leapt forth, and cut through men and women. The speed and ferocity of their attacks urged the summoner to run away. There were too many. He couldn't fight them, even with the aid of the Dragons. Despite their comforting touch against his mind, the fear still dwelt in him.

Dashing behind a store, he hid behind the counter, hand on his hilt. He attempted to slow his breathing, but he still panted for air. he peeked over the corner, the captain raising his hand in front of the door.

Eyes widened. He covered his head as the entire front of the store was blown off with a mere flick of the wrist of the captain. Was this the true extent of his power? If so, then Taen more than likely stood no chance. His mind told him to run, that he could not win. The elf felt his arms shaking. Sirasha's motherly tone came to calm his thoughts.

He is not as powerful as he seems. Your doubts blind you, making you think that you are weak. I know, however, that you are strong. I have seen you grow over the time we've been together.

Ryagiere came along as well, offering his thoughts. You are only as strong as you believe you are. Now come on. Don't hold back, and make them pay for their crimes.

After both of his Dragons finished speaking, he exhaled. His down-trodden face then lifted up. Reluctantly, he stood, chasing away all thoughts. He could not run from his fears, as terrifying and real as they may be. Besides, there was no room for running. Not now. He had made an irrevocable choice in revealing himself.

His grasp on his sword tightened. He swallowed. He readied his stance, and studied his enemy. The captain put his hand behind him, his palm facing his servants, telling them to not fight this man, that this was his prey.

Taen whispered, only to himself, a reassurance, “Don’t turn away…”

OoC: Sooooorryyyyyy.... (for the wait)

How funny life could be, especially when you were watching both sides of it. On one hand, the pirates attacked the village and refused to give the villagers any chance, but now that they were under attack, they fled for land to escape whatever had attacked them. To Zorlo, this paradox was an interesting twist in fate. A good number of the pirates made it to land, and now the young fencer just drifted until his ship found land. Time to get to work.

Even after being violently defeated moments before, the scalawags got to work doing what they did best nigh instantaneously after they hit land. The green haired man brushed a strand of hair out of his eyes and walked solemnly into the city. The ravaging warriors turned one by one to look at him, fear instantly filling their eyes. Didn't this guy ever quit?

Nay, he could not, for the path of justice required a level of ever vigilance, and that was something the Aura Master had. Even outnumbering the fencer where he was nearly eight to one, the pirates still hesitated. They had learned that such fights were best left unfought if one knew they could not win. After all, there had been an event not too long before the fencer where their forces had been even more greatly decimated then even the fencer's attack.

The street the fencer was on was silent as he looked at the buccaneers, all who held their weapons, whatever they were, close to themselves. A few moments of silence and they finally nerved up and struck at the fencer. One by one, they struck at him with everything they had, and not being one to kill recklessly, the fencer knocked them out with his fists, taking them down with a good deal of ease. It took only moments, but the pirates were defeated by the Aura Master.

As the young fencer walked out of the small street, he walked into the town center, and was appalled at what he saw next. Bodies... corpses littering the ground as far as the fencer's eye could see. They were everywhere, soaking the ground in their red liquid. A kind of sadness came over Zorlo, coming from the fact that that he had been unable to do anything about this slaughter. He sighed as he looked forwards and then something caught his eyes.

A young warrior with a sword stood up to the captain. The fencer walked slowly towards the two with a smile on his face, as he normally did, and the pirates turned to him as they heard his approach. Within seconds, they were watching as the fencer walked past the captain and stood to Taen's side. With a quick turn, and a very bright smile, the fencer stated, "I am Zorlo, the fencer of Tasogare, and it is an honor to meet you all," he said as he looked at Taen. "And I believe that I shall assist you, if you do not mind," the Aura Master said with a very kind smile across his face.

OoC: sry it took sooo long for me to post. Ma house was gettin some work done to it so we couldnt live in it for a few days =)

Akita watched the pirates destroy the small village. What right did they have to take innocent lives away. They had done nothing to deserve this.

Akita's sharp eyes followed a young swordsman to what looked like the captian of the pirates. He was a cute boy. From the looks of him, he was an elf from the way his ears pointed out. He was trembling a bit, only cause of the pirate but non the less, he was a trembling. A sign of weakness in her eyes. Staighten yourself out. If that pirate see's you trembling, your done for.

Akita also spotted something moving towards the pair. Another being, another swordsman. He looked older than the elf, but only because the elf did look somewhat boyish in her eyes. The other man looked much older though. It seems battle has taken its toll on his body. Akita ran down the hill from where she was. She figured she would help the boy should this other man be here to help the pirate. She arrived, as did the other swordsman. With a smirk, these were the words he spoke, I am Zorlo, the fencer of Tasogare, and it is an honor to meet you all. And I believe that I shall assist you, if you do not mind."

The elf looked grateful. Akita strode up to the threesome. Something she did, only when she was making an entrance.

"And I'm akita of the Dragonkin. It's a pleasure to meet you all. And now pirate, you are going to die."

Akita drew her sword, her green eyes flashing. She would justify the pirate properly for his actions.


OoC: sry for the short post. But we'll have fun with it!!

Taen stood there motionless, eyes fixed forward, stunned with fear. Who would strike first? The question bled deep in his skull, yearning for an answer. If he attacked, he would have the upper hand and be able to weaken him somewhat. Although his attack could be parried, placing him at risk. He could wait, but risk being overpowered immediately.

He breathed, trying to figure some sense of this, some strategy. The captain stood there across from him, emotionless, a silent hunger raging within. He was covered in some strange armor which Taen had never seen before. He wore a mask of sorts, revealing only two slits for his eyes along with his pale mouth and jaw, and sinister black lips.

Something caught Taen’s eye; a figure, perhaps a man. He cut through the pirates without effort, blade on blade. This swordsman… was he an ally? Or was he just some bandit, protecting only himself? The question was answered soon enough, as he approached Taen and spoke, looking towards the captain. “I am Zorlo, the fencer of Tasogare, and it is an honor to meet you all," His head flipped to Taen, “And I believe that I shall assist you, if you do not mind,”

He was handsome, no doubt. Both his hair and his jacket were green. His sword was already drawn, with no signs of a sheath. A friendly smile adorned his face, contradicting his fierce eyes, ones that were like a feral beast.

Another being caught Taen’s eye, a girl running down a hill, towards the wreckage, towards them. He smiled, grateful for help. She wore a plain white t-shirt, exposing her midriff, tied in a neat little knot right above her belly button. She had beautifully shiny purple hair, and a large sword tied to her back. She drew it gracefully, stepping towards the two.

She stopped and looked at the both of them, "And I'm Akita of the Dragonkin. It's a pleasure to meet you all,” she turned her eyes towards the captain, “And now pirate, you are going to die."

The captain smiled grimly. He knelt and placed his hand on the ground. The wind blew across their sweaty foreheads. A cloud moved in front of the sun. Nothing else stirred.

What is he doing?

The fencer watched in his normal, nonchalant nature. The Aura Master could tell that this pirate captain was up to something, but what? Bartholomew's hand brushed lightly over the ground, and the captain continued to seemingly search for something on the ground, or perhaps something in general. The fencer's normal, calm smile still cast over his face as he watched, ever pondering what may, or may not, happen next.

Not more then mayhaps one second later, the masked captain had rammed his fist into the ground, lodging it deep within the earth. A yellow light emitted from where his arm had forced its way into the earth, and continued to glow as the Aura Master watched suspiciously. Something very interesting was about to happen, but what ever could it be? Before any more inquiry could be made, the monstrous captain pulled his arm out of the ground, wielding a massive, crystal-esque material weapon.

The weapon was carved out of a massive, golden colored crystal looking material. It had become a massive ax with one blade, but the ax was far too large for a normal human to wield. In fact, the weapon was the same size as its wielder, if not larger, in fact. The blade took up half of the weapon, and the other half was the handle, which the captain used but one hand to keep complete control of the weapon. This was truly a strange occurrence, and an even rarer one to see.

From behind the massive captain, two smaller warrior's appeared, but the fencer didn't pay any heed to them. The only person he cared about was this captain, and to see if he could truly wield his weapon as well as he seemed to handle it now. The fencer rested the tip of his sword against the ground, releasing a sigh of readiness. He needed to be focused to hope to defeat this foe.

The fencer made quick glances to his new allies, not fully knowing what they could do, but knowing exactly what he could do. "All right, you two, I'll take the Captain. If you two can handle his assistants, then that would be lovely, but don't over do it. After all, what good is a battle that isn't any fun?" the green haired man asked, turning and smiling at the both quickly before looking back at the captain, still smiling, but with a look of focus in his eyes. This could wind up being fun.

"Excuse me? You want us to defeat the assistants?!?" Akita gawked, he couldn't be serious.

"That’s what I said."

"You’re crazy Zorlo, but whatever. There going to get burned to a crisp when I'm done with them.

Akita saw the other boy glance at her oddly. He must have thought she was strange to saw something like that.

"What do you mean by, 'burnt to a crisp'??"

"Watch and see. By the way, what is your name? You never told us."

"It’s Taen Rashida. Pleasure to meet you all."

"Well then, Taen, this is what I mean."

Akita began to glow with a dark aura, and in mere moments, her true form was revealed. Although, hopes of scaring the two assistants didn't go as planned. One of the assistants was dressed in all black. His shirt revealed part of his chest, showing a large scar from across his shoulder to where his shirt was. He had black hair and brown eyes. His face was mostly covered by a bandit scarf and hat. He carried a massive polearm (spear for those who don't know) with a large blade tip on the end.

The other was dressed in mostly red with black as well. He too had a shirt revealing part of his chest, but he had no scar. His face was covered by a mask that covered his chin, mouth, and nose. He had an eye patch on his left eye and it looked like there was a hint of a scar going straight up the eye. His hair was black and spiked. He carried a massive two-hand sword that curved like a scimitar near the end.

"Take the guy with the sword Taen. I'll get the guy with the polearm."

Akita could see that Taen was obviously shocked that a black dragon just talked to him.

"Goddamit, I'm a dragon yes, but snap out of it!!"

Taen obviously heard it and drew out his sword. "It’s just a little odd to be speaking to a dragon . . . . . ."

Akita soared into the sky. Fire could easily kill this man, but she wanted a bit of fun.

Taen snapped from his dazed and confused state and watched as Akita flew into the sky.

‘From girl to beast. Not the most common sight in the world.’

He looked forward at the enemy. Eyes fixed forward, his hands reached for his sheath and pulled out two identical blades. He raised them up, and slid them across each other, like a butcher with two knives. He moved his foot across the ground, feeling the vibrations through the dirt. He could feel the assistant was not human, as he had no pulse or muscular movement.

‘So, what we’re facing, is some sort of spirit.’ Taen mused.

‘Yes, but that shouldn’t be too hard to fight, once you destroy the body.’ The fire dragon, Ryagiere spoke.

‘So, what do you suggest? Fire or ice?’

There was a pause. Kida broke the silence, ‘Fire can be easily manipulated and used against you. That, and there are people and buildings around, you could start a flare-up.’

‘So ice it is.’

Taen breathed in deep, ice crystals forming at his lips, He released his breath and blew hard at the swords man. The ground turned to ice and grew out, arms made of ice cicles shooting at him. He waited until they were right at his face, then jumped back, and moved to the side, and leapt at Taen.

The elf brought up his sword fast, the scimitar clanging as it hit Taen’s blades. He moved his swords in a circle, pushing the foe’s sword to the side, and jabbed at the man’s chest. The man disappeared, his form blurring first then vanishing from vision. The man reappeared behind Taen and struck towards the elf’s head.

Moving the air beneath his feet, Taen jumped away from the man and landed his feet on a wall. He took the ice on the ground and turned it into water, forming a serpent above his head. He pushed his feet against the wall and assailed the swords man, swinging the water like a scythe. The water cut another brick wall nearby, dust ad brick pieces flying everywhere.

Time froze. Gold eyes moved along the street, watching and waiting. The black robed swordsman came into being and Taen swung his make shift water scythe at him. The man was too late, and his torso was torn in half.

He disappeared. Taen stropped the water and let it run along the street into the storm drains. His breathing slowed and he relaxed his muscles.

In a matter of seconds, two of the black robed swordsmen appeared, their swords apprehending Taen, one on his neck, and the other on his abdomen.

The elf smiled wryly. He spun around and an ice casing formed around him. He pushed it outwards, hitting the two swordsmen. Shards of ice burst through their skin and tore them apart.

They hit the dirt, and their bodies faded to dust.

A massive crater appeared in the ground as a green blur flew back from the site of impact. Close as that had been, the Aura Master still floated lightly on his feet around the massive ax that the monster of a man swung like a small sword. The fencer continued his evasions as attacks continued to flash towards the green haired man, who still refused to remain in pitched battle. After all, the strength of the captain was tearing the town apart like nothing at all, so moving to a more easily maneuverable place only made sense, didn't it?

As splinters erupted from a destroyed building, the young warrior jumped over the wreckage and landed in an opening just outside of the town. "Not my best get away, but still, it wasn't half bad, either," stated the fencer with a chuckled as he saw the captain drawing ever closer. As the massive, crystalline ax came down, the green haired fencer idly stepped to the side and evaded the strike, letting the blade rend the ground terribly.

The Aura Master rested his sword at the giant's neck, not moving a muscle at all aside from the ones he had to rest his sword there. "Not bad, but you're still not fast enough to hit me," the fencer said with a smile as he ducked under another swing of the ax. "Close, but no cigar," the green haired man stated as he leapt backwards, easily evading another slash from the massive warrior's ax.

The sound of heavy breathing came from within the mask of the giant captain as he looked up at the fencer and stood himself fully erect again. The giant rested his ax upon his shoulder and didn't speak, nor move. Merely, the two stood in silence, neither attacking, neither defending from the other since no attacks were being made. Within a few seconds, the fencer heard a light chuckle from the giant, and he suddenly vanished, fleeing from the scene.

The captain's fleeing had caught the Aura Master off guard, and the green haired man wasn't quite sure what to do at this point now. The fencer sheathed his sword and began heading back towards the town, intent on learning how the others had faired. He was sure they were fine, but still, something seemed unnerving about what had just happened.

I made Taen a jackass. >>

Taen breathed out and chuckled. ‘This better not be the best they can do. I was just about having fun.’ His eyes looked towards Akita flying above, swooping down at the man with the polearm, teasing him as he nipped at his shoulders, but didn’t do anything to do real damage.

‘Silly girl’ he laughed slightly. Taen decided to join in on the fun. He ran to the warrior’s side and poked him on the shoulder. Then, as he turned around, Taen jumped back and disappeared. He jumped forwards again and tapped on the opposite shoulder. The man spun around and struck out at the ghost what was there.

He then tried something different. The elf summoned a current of wind beneath his feet, and jumped high in the air, landing on the man’s forehead. He switched feet, and then somersaulted backwards. He stood and looked at the man, smiling almost cockily.

“Are you even going to strike back? Or do I have to just kick your ass and get it over with, because this is starting to bore me.” He raised his blade and pointed outwards, ‘Come ON. Stop standing there like you’re brain dead, you dolt.’

The man stretched his arm outwards. A black liquid swirled around his fist, and moved up his arm and took over his entire torso. A dark armor began to form, and the fighter’s eyes turned red with silver flecks around the edges. He smiled darkly, and his polearm broke apart into two weapons, connected only by a sturdy steel chain. On one side, there was this huge double axe. On the other, a long steal spire, with three equally sharp prongs.

Taen smiled widely. ‘Finally!’

OoC: ooohhhh, my baaaaaaaaaaad. I totally forgot about my battles >.>

BiC: Akita couldn't help but laugh, this man amused her so. But she was getting idly tired of this. Perhaps it is time to finish this, I don't like waisting what precious time I have. Akita let out a low growl and then easily soared into the sky. she continued watching the two men, Taen and the other figure. She sensed something was changing, and when she glanced down again, she noticed how the man had changed. This can't be good. . . She watched Taen and the man charge at each other, but she had a slight fear of the dark aura circling the newly formed weapon.

Akita dived suddenly, sensing that Taen was in danger. I know I only met him but that doesn't change the fact that that weapon, can and will kill him. She summed up a large amount of air, mixing it with the poisons in her body.

"Taen, move now!" Akita roared down on the elf, and with ease, slipped out of her range. She let out the poison in her body and it turned quickly into black fire. It was an almost entrancing sight as the fire seemed to slither its way down to the man. The fire spread quickly around the man and seemed to consume him.

"Good ridance to that slimy scu-" Akita spoke to soon for the pronged weapon stroke one of her wings. She almost cried out in pain for the wing membrane of a dragon is its most precious part of a dragons body. Should it tear, rip, or get damaged in any form, it can ground a dragon till it fully heals. But the man was not finished yet, he took his weapon and twisted it around, pulling and tearing more of her wing before he finally retraected his weapon.

Akita could feel the powers of her dragon form slipping away from her grip, and slowly she reverted back to her human form. Her arm was bleeding, in the same spot where the man tore her wing.

"You're nothing but a weak child. You might be a dragon and all, but you're a weak female child. Pity."

Akita felt the burning desire to kill him now, she drew her blade and luckily, the man had striken her left wing, so it was her left arm that pained her, not her right.

"If you think I'm so weak, just wait. You'll regret those words and wish they nevered passed through your lips!"

Well, that had been sufficiently strange. The captain and the fencer had taken the battle out of the city just long enough to strike a few blows, and now he had vanished. The fencer looked around, keeping a keen eye out for any signs of the large man, since, after all, he couldn't be that hard to spot. He was only six and a half feet tall at least with a mask upon his face. The question was where had he gotten to so quickly?

The Aura Master shut his eyes and allowed his second sight take over, looking into the realm of auras. Well, the Elf lad and the woman seemed to be holding their own quite well against their foes. Now then, where had that giant gotten off to, and what was he planning. Zorlo looked deeper and deeper, trying to find the man's spirit, and finally, it caught up with him, although from somewhere the green haired man had not entirely expected. The good captain was right below him!

A sudden upsurge of a strange yellow energy moved towards the green haired man. The fencer quickly leapt into the air as massive rock spikes shot out of the ground, making it look like a porcupine had taken up proper residence there. Suddenly, from the spike surge, the massive figure emerged and charged, slashing his massive ax down towards the Aura Master.

Normally, the green haired man wouldn't have dodged this attack, but for now, given the fact the Aura Master didn't know the exact extent to his foe's power, the green haired man rolled out of the way of the massive ax. Where the yellow, crystal ax struck the ground, massive spires of rock emerged from all directions.

Zorlo smiled. Definitely stronger then he had thought from first evaluation. This man's aura wasn't all that amazing, but his strength and ferocity easily made up for his lack of shear physical strength. What he lacked in spirit, he made up for in earth magic and pure power. A rare feature that was normal in earth elementals, given their extremely high strength level that made up for their lack of aura or magic power.

That also brought into perspective the size of his ax. It was condensed magical energy in the shape of a giant weapon that had a razor sharp edge. Well now, this would be good fun. The fencer rolled to the side and unzipped his jacket, pulling out his negative energy crystal rapier, Sapphire, and holding it ready to fight. "Well, round two, methinks," Zorlo said in a joking tone, and the masked man laughed. This would be interesting, to say the least.

A strange air pervaded the empty morning. It was as if this were not real, as if they were under some sort of hypnosis. The demon that faced down Akita laughed at her remark, and raised his lance one more.

In less than a second, Akita lunged forward, her sword making contact with the man’s lance. The man held it up and blocked it with no effort at all. With a twist of her blade, the dragon kin angled her sword right against the lance as to break it. In mere moments, the lance shattered, and a burning blaze covered her sword, turning her weapon into a thing of death.

Millions of blades, moving together in harmony under Akita’s command, sliced through the demon’s black armor. Then, with one stroke, one last command, Akita threw the blade into the air, it and came crashing down onto the demon’s skull.

The warrior stammered around a bit, weakened and shocked, his breathing heavy, and his stance lowering. Taen raised his hands, and brought them upward, sending hundreds of blades of air shooting through the silence. The demon’s armor and skin started to bleed deep crimson red, and it screeched with one last breath.

It vanished. The remains of the warrior evaporated into the air in what one would call a black smoke. Taen drew his eyes away from the enemy, and towards Akita. Summoning the power of Sirasha into his fingers, he touched her arm, where her wound was, and began to heal it.

She smiled, and glanced up at Taen. She saw what he was doing. The blood from her wound rushed back into her body, the pieces of torn skin mending themselves, as if they were being sewn back together. She righted her back, and rotated her arm.

“Good as new?”

She nodded, and lowered her smile, as she looked towards the black smoke that had begun to swirl where the demon was.

Dark wings spurred forth, and red eyes glowed from the black mist. A deep growl burned deep into the two’s mind as the demon revealed its final form.

It was quick. Very much so. The clash of blades and the sparks that flew between the two warriors' attacks quickly created a light show for all to see as the crystal weapons struck each other quickly and forcefully. Despite being dulled in speed and strength by the negative energy weapon, the fencer found himself still able to fight a battle like this very well. It was exciting, just what he needed.

Suddenly, an emerald green flame flared up and aura smashed into earth magic as blade clashed, causing yellow and green energies to pulse into the sky. Despite the masked man's shear force, the fencer continued to bob and weave around him at faster speeds than the man had noticed. It came down to who could outlast the other. The earth warrior who's blade was made of magical crystal, or the Aura Master's, who's weapons were made out of a legendary powers.

Suddenly, the blades struck, and the two stopped. A power burst forth from not too far in the distance and the captain smiled as he rested his free hand on his mask. "I suppose it is time to show you fools just what you're up against," the giant said as he removed his mask. Power rushed forth from the man's armor as it exploded off his body in all directions, revealing the giant man's power radiating off of his body as he rested his giant ax on his shoulder.

"I see. So you were holding back the whole time," the fencer stated as he sheathed Sapphire and drew back out Apollo. "Good, now this will be more fun," the fencer stated as he slid one foot back and lowered his blade. Suddenly, he burst forwards, followed by the massive warrior, and the battle began anew.

OoC: I'm sorry guys, but right now I just dont have the time to do battles. I have major state testing coming up and I've been slammed with homework which makes it hard to do much. So I'm going to drop this battle for now, you guys can still use my charcater of course but right now I just dont have the time to do much (hence why I've been so inactive).

OoC: I will also have to drop until all ym schoolwork and exams are done. Sorry.

It was an ugly thing, the demon that stood before them. Its dark eyes didn’t glow at all. Instead, they seemed to suck all the light around it, resulting in a thick blackness. Its skin was dark like coal, and its wings the same. The demon’s shape morphed into the form of a dog with leathery wings like a bat. It opened its jaws wide and howled.

The two figures standing before it, Taen and Akita, shook slightly. They breathed in, centering their energies and purifying the magic within themselves. The girl took the offensive, running around to the dog’s side, and eyed its feet. Sliding towards the dog, she slashed at its toes, scraping across its skin. Taen ran forward, and jumped into the air. The demon jumped to the left, then flapped its wings to join the summoner in the air.

Before Taen could react, the demon widened its jaws and fired a red hot ball of energy at him. He created a shield of light magic, and then sliced upwards, the shield resting against the blade. He threw the barrier at the demon, which dodged it swiftly. He then created four spears of light around it, and he moved his arms inward, forcing the spears to close in and impale the demon. He lowered himself to the ground, and watched.

As the monster shrieked in pain, Akita jumped upwards to deliver the finishing blow. She coated her blade in black white hot flames, and slashed violently at the demon. Seven strikes, all striking from different directions, all at near-lightning fast speeds. With one last howl, the demon-pirate faded away in a haze of smoke. Akita stood on the ground, breathing heavily. She smiled widely, and Taen offered her a congratulatory hand clap.

“Very nice. I didn’t know you could move that fast.”

She chuckled. As she gave Taen a friendly glance, a pulse of energy surged through the ground. They stumbled for a second, and looked to where Zorlo and the captain were fighting.

Taen’s Dragon of Light, Sirasha, stirred in his mind. Did you feel that? Looks like our fencer friend might need some help.

He smiled slightly. Can’t let him have all the fun. Gesturing for Akita to follow, the elf headed off to the main duel.

The man moved much faster than it seemed he would have. His speed was unbelievable given his massive figure and weapon. Even the Aura Master had to admit that this wouldn't be too easy. The crash of the fencer's rapier against the blade of the ax caused the green haired man to be pushed back a short bit. With a slight push with his single hand on the ax, the captain shot Zorlo backwards.

The fencer skidded to a stop as he looked at the man. "This isn't nearly as easy as it seemed," Zorlo mused to himself as he stood up and ran forwards. The speed the green haired man used seemed to be more than this large foe should have been able to match, but still the imposing figure moved quickly. The fencer turned quickly and slashed, narrowly missing the formerly masked man.

The ax fell upon the golden rapier suddenly, forcing the green haired man into the ground slightly. The fencer fought his body's desire to fall to his knees, but held on slightly as he slid his blade to the right side and caused the ax to strike the ground. With a sudden, and powerful, turn, the massive man backhanded the Aura Master with his ax, causing Zorlo to fly off and strike the ground, causing him to bounce up.

The fencer struck the ground and slid along to a final stop and stared blankly at his foe. The fencer forced himself to his knee, resting the tip of his blade in the ground and slowly pushing himself up to a shaky stand. "What chance do you think you have, little mortal?" the captain asked as he rested his ax on his shoulder.

"You really shouldn't say such things," the fencer said as he slowly healed himself a little bit, "after all, I'm not your only foe," the green haired man said as he looked back, watching the approach of the other two. "You two took long enough," Zorlo joked.
