The Lands of the Forgotten (anyone)

OoC: I've never really made a thread in the BA before, so if you find some of my details containing the environment lacking or otherwise, don't notify me, just add them in yourself. This is an easygoing thread, with no linear pattern. You don't have to wait your turn, but don't double-post, either. Alliances and 2v1's are acceptable, but always leave your opponent with the opportunity to counter or run away. I guess what I'm saying is, have fun, but not at other's expense. I'll be using Tacheon Alexander Black. The link's in my profile.

BiC: The afternoon sun burned bright in the wasteland sky. Tacheon sat on a log and contemplated what had led him to such a peculiar destination. In his hand, a small ball of glass, perfectly round, rolled back and forth in a perfectly elliptical motion. He had made it himself out of the sand that surrounded him. In the distance, strange creatures mewled and growled, pining for lost meals and the loss of their homes and habitats. The wind hadn't stirred for several days now, and Tacheon had doubts that it ever would.

A salamander passed by Tacheon on its merry little way. He watched it with some interest until it exploded into a thousand tiny little salamander chunks. The culprit were small beetles in the sand that detonated on contact. Tacheon learned that tha hard way. He sat there some more until he began to drift off into sleep. Right before he did, however, a figure became appearent on ths horizon. It was impossible to make out the details, but it was coming, and fast.

"Who's there?" Tacheon called out, but no response came. He had but to wait to find out.

Sand kicked up into the sky as Shrukan dashed towards the figure that was dead ahead of him. This was the first sign of life he saw in this waste land, and he wanted to see what it was. Ally or not, maybe he could see who it was.

Just a few feet feet before the figure, he flapped him wings to slow down and land. Each beat from the wings brushed even more sand up into the air.

Shrukan was tall, for being only 15. He seemed almost 6 and half feet tall, but only was as skinny as a normal human male. He had dark red hair and crystal-like blue eyes. There was only two signs of him being half dragon, the Two golden wings and the golden tail. He wore a dark blue jacket and a dark red shirt. He also wore gray pants on his legs, despite being in the wasteland as well as two red and gray shoes.

"Who are you?" said the figure.

"My name is Shrukan." Shrukan said with a smile. "You shouldn't be out here, huh?"

"You shouldn't be out here, huh?" the figure said, which was amusing considering the fact that they were as out of place as he was. Tacheon let the ball dissolve back into its original elements, then took a step forward.
"You know," he said, "considering that I may very well have been the cause of this chaos, I think you're the one that shouldn't be out here. Shrukan, you said your name was? My name is Tacheon Alexander Black. May I be so bold as to ask what you're doing here, of all places?"
Tacheon took a few more tentative steps toward the man-beast. He still had no ideas what its intentions were, and he was ready for anything.

"Well my name is Talon." Said the half-elf, who just shifted out of hawk form. " And I will tell you exactly what I am doing here. I am a protecter of all animals, and I came to find out what happened to this now, wasteland. Can one of you help me figure this out? And if you guys were about to battle and ruin this ecosystem some more, than you can count me in, because I wont have it!" Talon said proudly.

All three stood there looking at each other. Talon's interruption seemed to heat up the situation. Realizing that he may have stepped into the wrong battle, the shapeshifter griped his spear tightly. This could get ugly. He thought. A dust ball rolled by, this akward silence couldn't last much longer. Then finally one of the men spoke.

"You shouldn't be out here, huh?" the figure said, which was amusing considering the fact that they were as out of place as he was. Tacheon let the ball dissolve back into its original elements, then took a step forward.
"You know," he said, "considering that I may very well have been the cause of this chaos, I think you're the one that shouldn't be out here. Shrukan, you said your name was? My name is Tacheon Alexander Black. May I be so bold as to ask what you're doing here, of all places?"

"So Wings here can sense things eh?" Tacheon showed an equal sarcastic tone.

"You don't know who I am..." Shrukan said under his breath as he turned around.

"You seem to be annoying child here in this wasteland."

Shrukan snarled and then jerked his head to the left. A small wave of sand suddenly slammed Tacheon to the ground.

"Well my name is Talon." Said the half-elf, who just shifted out of hawk form. " And I will tell you exactly what I am doing here. I am a protecter of all animals, and I came to find out what happened to this now, wasteland. Can one of you help me figure this out? And if you guys were about to battle and ruin this ecosystem some more, than you can count me in, because I wont have it!" Talon said proudly.

"You're name is Talon? Protector of animals?" Shrukan smiled as he turned back around. *Protector of animals? At least I protect the elements.* He thought.

Shrukan sighed and looked up at the sky.

"Tell me what you sensed, Beast-man." Tacheon said as he got up.

"Something here isn't right." Shrukan sighed. "I can sense elemental disturbances. I sense one here, something isn't right here. But its nothing of your concern."

Tacheon first turned on Talon.

"So let me get this straight," Tacheon said, trying to put a little sneer into his voice that he feared they may have missed, "you're here to protect the animals here?" he waved his arms around, trying to emphasize the vast expanse of wastes, "It seems to me that you've done a rather... bang-up job, my friend."

Then he shifted his attention to Shrukan.

"And you, my fine-feathered friend, you say you sensed a disturbance that is of no importance to me. First of all, I'm out here, aren't I? Do you see any habitation, not to mention vegetation around here? And for that matter, I didn't just sense a disturbance out here, I saw it! So if you want to fight, buck-o, you just found it."

Tacheon sat back down on his log, and formed it into a fine ornate throne. Then, he felt for elements in the ground. What used to be a rich forest several days ago had recently turned into a deserted expanse of rock, and was thusly devoid of anything useful. He reached under the chair, and pulled out his katana.

"So come on, bird-brain, let's dance."

"You can sense elemnets? I too have the power to work with some! I came to find out what happened to this place and punish who did this! Sorry for the excitment, but I never met a person who could sense the elements! This could help me greatly. Where have they gone? Do you know the cause?" Talon questioned Shrukan. Then turned to Tacheon.

" I'm not sure what the chip on your shoulder is about, but if you want a fight you got one! And I am not just protector of the animals here. I protect them everywhere! Obviously I am too late to save them, but maybe I can get some revenge. So are you implying that you are the cause of this mess?" The half-elf said as Daru, the wolf, jumped out from behind a rock and stood at the side of his friend.

As 58 past two trees he saw a some dragon-man creature and another human, and some wolf. He decide it would be best to help the human so he turned invisible and prepared his attack. He got out his blade and jumped, only too be brought done by the wolf. His invisibility malfunction and he he knocked the beast off and got up as fast as he could. "human do you need any help?" 58 asked getting his AR-92 out.

OoC: Guys, Shrukan is a Scalix. Dragon-Human. not Bird human! >_< Read up on him, geez...

BiC: "I don't wish to fight!" Shrukan stated.

"By what you acted earlier you seem you do!" Tacheon said.

"Calm down you hot-head."

Tacheon thrusted forward but Shrukan nearly dodged. Shrukan flipped over and drew both of the Twin Dragon Fangs out.

"Kilg Vinasha!" Shrukan cried. Vile monster!

Tacheon thrusted again, and missed again.

Shrukan continued a large amount of Scalix curses before actually finally hitting Tacheon on the shoulder.

"Settle down!" Shrukan said. "Or shall we battle more?!"

Tacheon recoiled at the amount of force that the Scalix (OoC: sorry, Shrukan, BiC had behind his blows. He decided to throw more timid shots for the time being, waiting for larger attacks until he knew what he was up against. He was about to go for a horizontal slice when a new, armoured combatant drew up alongside him, with a crackling stealth unit malfunctioning.

"Human, do you need any help?" the suit asked, and Tacheon turned to him.

"Well, I usually work alone, but I suppose I wouldn't mind a little assistance at this point. Might I ask you your name, however?"

While waiting for an answer, Tacheon fended off a few more strikes from the half-breed dragon. This was turning out to be a more interesting problem than he first thought...
