Walking Contradictions (continued)

OoC: Yay! Here it is, insaney. Let's rock. For all of you who haven't read the first two posts in this fight, which were the final round of the tournament, you can find them here. Now, let the fun begin.

IC:

For a moment, the two stared at each other, their hellish appearances starkly contrasting with the holy, consecrated atmosphere of the convent. The former consecrated atmosphere, rather. With bodies strewn sporadically throughout the commons area, leaving bloody trails of carnage seeping into the ground, any semblance of holiness and peace had long since been destroyed. Naturally, the incubus had no qualms with the current situation, but he would have much preferred it if he, and only he, had been responsible for the devastation.

His emerald eyes regarded the curious female with interest as they mentally slid over her body, examining every detail with his sharpened senses. My, my… She looks as though she’d be fun to play with. And I’m sure I could do something about that unfeeling expression on her face she seems so fond of… He flashed gleaming teeth in a brief grin, which he didn’t particularly care if she noticed or not.

With his characteristically smooth gait, Lucilius moved closer to this strange newcomer, wary of any sudden movements she might make. He observed her blood-soaked weapon for a moment, the sharply honed edge pulsing with a faint glow. Strangely, it seemed to have a mind of its own, although Lucilius, even with his heightened awareness of the spiritual realm, could barely detect it.

His gaze, radiating a faint hint of seduction, met the girl’s gold, almost lifeless irises. “Hello there, lovely. I think a night with me would do you some good.”

Re: Walking Contradictions (continued)

Aisha stepped back, her foot stepping into a small puddle of ruddy liquid. The person before her did not seem to be afraid, instead, his emerald eyes began to show some sort of interest in her. Perhaps he had no heart either, or perhaps his mind was so enveloped in perversion that he blatantly ignored the carnage around him. Or perhaps he was both, she did not care, but his eyes made her uneasy.

Yes... those sharp emerald eyes with their slight glint, undressing her as they swept. Ai looked up at his face as he grinned. A short, sly grin. He stepped forward with a languor and grace that would have captivated all others, except for her. Every move he made, every time he blinked at her, she felt uneasy. Her fingers began to grip Hellfire's hilt tighter as he approached. His hair flowed downwards from his head, seemingly smooth and soft as silk. He was lean, but from his stance, he seemed well built. An extremely fair face made the description of his appearance to fall under one word; perfect.

Aisha followed his eyes as his gaze lowered towards Hellfire. It was still deep red, soaked with blood from the nuns and archbishop. Her fingers curled around the handle a little more. Her thumb slowly went from side to side, feeling the texture of the handle.

Again, her gold eyes met his emerald gaze.

"Hello there, lovely. I think a night with me would do you some good."

Aisha narrowed her eyes at his request, lowering her head slightly but still keeping her glare into his emerald eyes. She raised Hellfire up slowly, the incubus observed her movements, getting ready to parry or counter any attack she might think of doing. Instead, she brought the sword down quickly at her side, throwing most of the fresh blood off of it. The blood from the sword splattered against the wall and floor at her side. Ai lifted her hand again, this time, putting the blade of her sword into the case on her back. She saw the incubus smile a little, as if he thought that she had given in to his request this easily.

However, if he did think that Aisha had accepted it, he would be wrong.
The soulless simply responded by giving him a quick look of disdain as she walked past him, ignoring his presence almost completely.

Re: Walking Contradictions (continued)

A challenge, hm? I’m up for it.

Lucilius concealed his slight surprise at the strange girl’s dismissive behavior. Usually, women practically fell at his feet without much exertion of effort on his part. But then, the end result was so much more satisfying when he had to strive for it. Challenges always fascinated him. It caused him to fantasize. How would she be in bed? Or the ground. Or anywhere, for that matter. He wasn’t particular.

Releasing a small, invisible aura of his potent pheromones around himself, the incubus glided seductively toward his prey, slowly moving past her until he turned to face her, barely inches away. He gazed at her steadily, as though attempting to discern some hint of emotion—preferably fear or nervousness or any sign of submission—within her golden eyes. After a long minute of tense silence, his face broke into a reassuring smile, as reassuring as the smile of an incubus can be.

“It will be better for you if you don’t force me to take drastic measures, my dear. Oh, you certainly wouldn’t want that.” With an almost arrogant boldness, he raised his hand to trace a single, black-nailed finger down her cheek, his smile widening a bit at the soft feel of her skin. “I’d hate to mar something so exquisite.”

Re: Walking Contradictions (continued)

Her dark boots echoed as they knocked against the stones. Each footfall carrying her further away from the incubus. She couldn't, or rather, didn't care enough to know whether he was disappointed or not. Aisha wasn't bothered by his calm and graceful approach. She had had her fill for now, so she considered the person worthless. Denying his 'request' might have provoked something dangerous, but Ai was sure that she would be ready for it. After all, she had already been through a lot of situations that human eyes and minds would consider impossible, or illogical or simply 'not of this Earth'.

Aisha stopped walking. She felt it... She felt him approaching again.

She would have liked to think that it was his soft footsteps that alerted her, but no, it was something else. It was present in the air. Something had changed.

The light at her side blinked as he gracefully glided past her, his black overcoat sweeping behind him. And there the incubus stood, dangerously close to her, gazing into her eyes, looking for something. His lips curved into a smile, a lovely one. One that a loving man would give to his lady while protecting her... "Everything will be okay with me... I mean you no harm."

But the words he breathed were dark, in contrast to his smile.

"It will be better for you if you don’t force me to take drastic measures, my dear. Oh, you certainly wouldn’t want that."

Boldly, he placed his black-nailed finger and traced it gently down her cheek. Aisha's eyes widened at the suddenness of his action , then they forced themselves to narrow. Her brows lowered as she glared into his emerald green eyes which no longer made her uneasy, they just made her hate him more. A black speck of dust on the white paper which will soon be wiped away.

"I’d hate to mar something so exquisite." The incubus continued, smiling as if he had already claimed that victory over her resistance.

The soulless let out a low growl, annoyed and slightly frustrated. Lucilius stumbled backwards as two pale hands suddenly pushed against his chest. Without sparing a second, Ai stepped forward as the incubus stumbled. She forced him to continue his journey to the ground by landing a powerful kick against his stomach.

Re: Walking Contradictions (continued)

With fury flashing in his eyes, Lucilius twisted his body to land cat-like on the ground, immediately pushing himself up and whirling around in the same motion to rake claws across the infernal girl’s cheek. Blood seeped out from the gashes he inflicted. With a satisfied smirk, the incubus stood ready to parry whatever sort of retaliation the girl offered in response.

“I told you it wouldn’t be wise to make me angry, brat,” he spat in obvious disdain. By now, his pheromone output had increased drastically. He still had plans to bed the wench, after all, even if he had to employ force.

All the answer he received was the silent arcing of her sword toward his neck, the bloody blade seeking to cleave his head from his shoulders. The blood coating the weapon caught the sunlight and shone like sinister, liquid rubies—jewels that would see him destroyed. He wouldn’t give them the satisfaction.

Snarling, the incubus’ ebony nails elongated into sharpened points, murderous tools of his trade. He wrapped his claws around his prey’s blade and halted it in mid-swing. But the girl was persistent. Even with his enhanced physical strength, Lucilius found the sword still stubbornly inching toward his neck. The honed edge sliced into his palms as he continued holding it back, his black blood running in rivulets to mingle with the crimson already residing upon the blade.

Gritting his pearly teeth, the incubus fixed Ai with a piercing glare. “Not one to lie down and die, are you? Well, that’s fine. It’ll be all the more enjoyable for me when I break your body and your spirit.”
