The Windy City Fight (nekoryuuha)
Rika walked down a quiet dirt road through a village. Her best friend Arika by her side flying around. The young girl had a somewhat sad face and looked down at the ground as she walked through the quiet village. “Hey Ume what wrong?” Arika ask flying down to look her in the eyes.
The girl sigh and replied, “I’ve been bored wandering around from town to town, village to village, city to city and yet have found no clue about the were my brother is…” “I’m sure we’ll find him someday. Now, cheer up and look for something to do today!” “Yeah, maybe taking out so people will be fun.” The girl said with a smile going across her face. She put her head up and looked out in front of her. She saw a vast grassland out in the distance from the village she had been walking through. Off beyond the field there laid a city with tall skyscrapers everywhere in the city. Hmm… that place looks fun to play around in. I could really test my true fighting style there. Rika looked over at her winged elf friend and point to the city off the distance. “Arika there is where we are going!” The winged elf looked to where Rika pointed and saw the big city. She then turned back around over at the female fighter. “I’ll race to the city!” “Your on!” the young girl said and took off towards the city. A big dust trail formed as Rika ran off to the city. The female elf by her side keeping out with her speed though knowing Rika wasn’t going her fastest. They passed the grassland with little trouble as Rika left feet steps in the ground. The girl came to the city gate and walked on in side the busy city. As she walked she took notice that all the men seem to be perverts, staring at her and some following her. When she notice that some of the men where following her a big smile came across her face. Her and the winged elf walked down a small alleyway there wasn’t much room to fight with a weapon like a sword. The two man that when down the alley with her ran towards her with there arms out. “Ume watch out! They’re coming at you!” the small elf yelled out flying up to the roof. Rika stopped walking and jumped and back kicked one in the face sending him into the wall of the building. Then kicked her legs off the side of the building grabbing the other guy’s head hitting it against the other building. She landed softly in the middle of the two men kneeing down a little with both hands on the ground by her side. “You guys are no fun.” “That because Ume your so great!” the winged elf yelled coming down from the roof. |

Re: The Windy City Fight (nekoryuuha)
High in a tree, Tsukineko sat comfortably as he gazed into the azure sky, thinking about the events that took place just a few days ago. He'd met his sister, found the Alliance had grown in size, lost his short sword (not that he used it much in the first place), and even possibly unlocked a family secret from what his sister had told him. He'd been here waiting her to return for two days, waiting for her to return from to quick side trip Sakuraneko had left on to confirm something before they started training together.
"Hey! Hey you up there!" Tsukineko came back to himself with a start. The last thing he'd expected was for a male voice to suddenly call up to him. He looked down see a man in a blue running suit and matching hat looking up at the darkly dressed Neko. "Yes? What is it?" "Are you Tsukineko? You seem to fit the description I was given," the man replied. Tsukineko's ears twitched as he managed to fight down his curiosity. My, isn't today turning out to be interesting. "Yes, that's me. Just whom gave you my description and why?" "A man by the name of Zorlo. I was asked to deliver a letter to you and the other people he asked. Tsukineko leapt to the ground and let the man deliver his letter. "Okay, now on to a 'Nikudemon'." That that name, Tsukineko stopped the man from leaving. "You'd do better to give me that letter. Nikudemon won't be found by simple searching. You got lucky with me, but you'll search for years without finding him." "Uh huh. So you're telling me you'll have better luck then me in finding him? What can you do that I can't?" "Live longer, run faster, and jump higher," Tsukineko replied dryly. The man seemed to take that into account and think a moment before landing the Neko Nikudemon's letter before walking off muttering something about finding a 'Celia' and 'Gloria'. Tsuki decided to let those slide. If the two were together, the man would be in no danger. If not...Hope the postman could run fast. He opened the letter and quickly skimmed through it. "Gotten stronger, new love interest, beaten by a teenage girl, has...Wait What!?" He backed up a couple of lines to find what had caught his eye. "On my way through a town, I met a young girl by the name of Rika Kaza Oni. We ended up having a disagreement and soon fought it out. For such a young girl I was amazed at her speed and the acrobatics that she could pull against me. Though we tied, I can't help by feel like I was beaten by the teenage girl." Tsukineko sighed in relief. For a moment, he thought Zorlo had truly lost to a little girl. Then he noticed an add-on for him only. Tsukineko, I believe you should know this. Even though I fought her, I still could not figure out her powers. I am giving you her description so that you can identify her and maybe detect that in which only you and your sister can. She... He went on to read her description as the wind began to pick up. He was starting to have a hard time reading when his hearing picked up the sound of someone fast approaching on foot. Thinking it was his sister returning, he looked up and was a girl covered in what appeared to be a magical sphere thanks to his vision. The world seemed to freeze just as she was passing by as a slow bit of his gold eye's power kicked in as reflex to the speed the girl was at Tsukineko could quite clearly look the girl's appearance over and even see that the 'magical sphere' was nothing more then a wind energy wave in front of her that diverted air away from her. Wait. Young girl, high speed, white dress, short sword-like weapon, worn shoes, long black hair, light brown skin, and a winged elf to boot. Movement resumed and she blew past him leaving a dust trail. The Neko had no doubts in his mind he'd just seen the very Rika he'd just read about as she ran into a nearby city with many massively tall buildings. "Well well. I guess it's time I go see how such a girl tied with Zorlo," The scarred Neko said to himself and tucked the letter into a pocket and adjusted his gauntlets and greaves. With one final stretch, he took off at the city in his own dust trail. Upon entering, he immediately noticed the high number of men that lounged the streets and leered at girls and women that showed themselves, many of which found themselves being followed by five or so men soon afterward. Tsukineko knew that girl wasn't safe here, which made him even more curious as to her power. When he found the girl walking from an alleyway with a bored and disappointed look on her face, his curiosity threatened to throttle him if he didn't find out. "Hey! Rika!" He called out to get her attention. It worked to keep her from walking away at least, allowing him to catch up and see the men knocked out. She was definately strong. "You are Rika Kaza Oni, correct? The one that fought a green haired and clothed Fencer by the name of Zorlo?" "That's me. But how do you know me? I've never met you before," She answered. "I'm a friend of his. My name is Tsukineko," He replied respectfully, his gauntlets and greaves shining in what little sun could get between the tall buildings. The air was getting a bit humid between the buildings.

Re: The Windy City Fight (nekoryuuha)
The little girl eyes open wide, her mouth dropped hearing what the young Neko man told her. She couldn’t believe that someone could be friend with that human man named Zorlo. That damn fencer seem to have been telling truth about having friends, but were they stronger then him, she wonder looking at the Neko. “What are you doing here!?” she yelled angry. Hearing the fencer name didn’t put her in a good mood.
“I came… Well I came to see why, Zorlo thinks so highly of you?” She lowered her self to the ground taking hold of her short sword. “So, you’ve come to attack me without reason, and ask me to join. I told that man he could find me if he needs me by following the wind.” The young Neko moved down closer to the ground just like the girl. He’s claws showing themselves more now, the wind blew pass him quickly. “I’ve come only to test your strength, nothing more or least. As for join that is up to you.” “Fight,” the young half demon repeated, she smiled, and pulled the small sword out from behind her. “This should be more fun then the humans.” Rika took off toward the Neko; a gust of wind blew behind her like a jet. She jumped up on the wall, coming down toward the man. Tsukineko quickly pulled out him short sword, and blocked Rika sword with his. Wind flew down pass the Neko hitting the ground, and spread away like a tidal wave. The Neko male threw a punch straight of the girls gut, Rika swung her leg in for a kick. The Neko’s fist hit the leg of the half down, and another blast of wind shot pass him. “Strong one,” The girl said admiring that the man matched her in speed. She jumped away from the man watching him stand back up from the ground. “Your much better then that, Tsukineko. Right?” |

Re: The Windy City Fight (nekoryuuha)
"Nope. Neither are you. Correct, Rika?" Tsukineko asked as smiled and watched her.
"Of course." She blew forward toward the Neko has he followed. Sparks flaring as they hit weapons and continued past, both sliding to a stop. Tsukineko looked down to realize his short sword's edge was broken and jagged. It had taken the heavy abuse up till now to finally damage the blade. "Hey, pay attention to the fight!" Tsukineko looked up to see Rika kick off a wall and swing her wakizashi. Tsukineko countered with and broken blade and ducked to avoid Rika's weapon has it finished breaking through his short sword. He leapt underneath and past her, coming to his feet as she landed and turned to catch his gaze. He looked at his hilt, all that was left of his short sword, and tossed it aside. "I guess I should be happy I don't need that," he said to himself as his claws came out and covered up to the ends of his fingers in sharp rock. Rika looked surprised for a moment, but quickly recovered as he ran back toward her. He leapt up the wall and came down on her like she did him earlier, only she jumped back as he hit the ground and drove the attacking claw. He hadn't realized that would give such power at first. Now he knew why his short sword broke so quickly against her. He heard her coming in low and fast and smiled as she lunged for what would be a finishing kick if she'd hit him and not his Wall Shield. She landed as he stood and the shield vanished. They looked at each other in wordless question and answer before leaping back from each other. He wouldn't use his shields for cheap shots. Not against her.

Re: The Windy City Fight (nekoryuuha)
Rika’s dress flapped from the wind she was creating around her. She was having fun in this fight right now. She also knew she need to control herself, and not let the fight get the better of her. Rika put her sword away, sheathing back on her back.
She ran forward at the Neko, and the man ran toward her. Rika punched met the Neko punched, and a powerful kick came up from her leg’s meeting Tsukineko leg’s stopping again. The half demon, and the male Neko were matched in the fighting style they both use. The demon girl smile, jumped back, and pointed to the walls. “Let take this fight to the sky, and see who’s better,” the little girl said pointing up. “Or do you like the ground better,” she proclaimed with a far outlook in her eyes. "The ground or the heights. A Neko knows no difference, Lead and watch me follow, Rika," the young Neko said taking a quick glanced up at the sky. “Take the lead. I don’t think you’ll like my lead.” the demon girl replied jumping up on the wall with the Neko following quickly after her. Free falling down to the Neko she swung a powerful quick kick at the man. The Neko caught the leg of the girl with little trouble, but a strong wind turned Rika’s body, and sent Tsukineko into a wall. Her leg free she jumped off other wall landing on the ground softly. “I rule the sky, Tsukineko. You better lean quickly how to fight if you’re going to keep up with me in the air.” |

Re: The Windy City Fight (nekoryuuha)
Tsukineko landed crouched on the ground looking at Rika as his red eye changed. The pupil shrank and four black, five-point stars surrounded it. Immediately, the magically aura flared visibly to him as the attack before had. "I see now... That's why Zorlo couldn't figure out her power. The very wind is her weapon."
He stood but continued to use the advanced eye ability. The very wind around her was magical and seemed to obey her will as she leapt up the walls. Tsukineko followed her as she free fell toward him again, the wind seeming to chase her down through the air as she spun herself into a heeldrop. Now! He crossed his arms to block her heeldrop and waited. The moment her wind hit him he formed a shield under his feet to stop himself from falling. "I learned to fight," The scarred Neko replied as he grabbed her leg and swung her into the wall. He watched her wind slow and lessen the impact though it would have still hurt. He let her land on the shield before he stepped back and let her regain her footing before pointing up. Both leapt up and started moving up the walls, clashing momentarily as they passed. Tsukineko too, was now using wind on his fists and feet to attack without his claws when she wasn't using her wakizashi.

Re: The Windy City Fight (nekoryuuha)
Rika shot up towards the Neko male she flew higher up into the air. Both of them reached about half the height of the skyscrapers. The half demon threw a punch at the young man as she came up to him. The Neko stopped the weak punch with his hand, grabbed her arm, and threw her to the wall. Rika make an air pocket behind her that stopped her from hitting the wall.
She kicked off the wall going higher up the tall building. The air getting thinker as both them made there way higher up the wall. Rika foot slipped on the wall, sending her into a free fall again. She moved the air away from her so it wouldn’t slow her down as she quickly reached the landing a punch right in the Neko’s face. The Neko used his shield to stop his and the demon fall, then pushed off under the girls legs. He landed on other shield he made, and lunched forward towards the girl. Rika got up from impacting the shield the Neko made. The Neko clawed her back, and send a gust of wind through the cuts. Blood flew everywhere, and turn the under them red. The blood dripped off the shield, and down to the ground. The young girl screamed in pain, but a smile when across her face. Rika turned around, and glare at the Neko boy. “So you know how to use wind too,” she said with an evil look in her eyes. “Two wind user, fighting. I wonder who’s stronger, and more skilled at the power of wind.” The half demon’s dress flapped around, the little winged elf looked down from the rooftop. Arika wasn’t feeling safe seeing those two getting higher up the building. She knew Rika could do something like this but was hoping she kept it on the ground. She looked on a little shocked that the Neko could use the power of wind too. |
