Hidden Arena (Hyrulian Hero)

OoC: Okay I thought of a good one, hope ya like it! I will be using Krayt (I will refer to him as Hero sometimes) linkinsig, lets get this show on the road!

BiC: Krayt gazed down on the earth below. It was so much smaller now, Krayt had finally realized how much a jump he had made from just traveling it. Somewhere on that planet trouble was taking place, However he couldnt be everywhere at once, if only there were more heroes like him.

Krayt perished the thought and took off flying towards the earth. He had a job to do now, however where to start was the first question. As he neared the ocean he noticed something strange. A huge shadow was slowly surfacing from it! It was much to big to be a whale, in fact it had to have at least been the size of an island!

Krayt used his vision to zoom in even closer and saw that it was in fact an island that was surfacing! He then decided to investigate this phenomenon. As he flew towards it a huge jolt of electricity zapped him, sending him hurdling towards the surfaced ground.....

Krayt stood up from the small crater he had made and looked around. The place was like a huge arena! High above the stadium was a red forcefield jolting with electricity, apparently someone intended to capture him this whole time....

"Hello Hero, welcome to the Hidden Arena!" A voice rang out.

"Who's there! What do you want?!" Krayt yelled.

"We want to see how powerful you truly are of course! We know all about your little flying weakness, as well as a few others...."

"What do you mean we?" Krayt replied.

"You will find out if you win this competition! We have captured what we believe is your equal, make us proud, for he is no pushover!"

"Oh and by the way" The voice continued.

"The arena will change enviroments as you fight, one minute it could be a desert, the next it could be a volcano! Oh and dont even think of trying to escape! We under 15 leagues under the ocean, with a forcefield that will shock you if you get anywhere near it! The walls are heat proof and lined with 40 layers of solid steel and titanium, limiting your little super strength power, your trapped here Hero!" The voice informed.

Krayt wasnt sure what to say or to even think for that matter. He was interupted however, when a huge door opposite of him slowly opened, revaling his opponet.....

OoC: Okay how was that?

Re: Hidden Arena (Hyrulian Hero)

Tay groaned, rolling over into a sitting position. The drow’s bow lay next to him, and he placed a reassuring hand on it as he looked around. He was in small room, barely big enough for three people, with plain steel walls and only one door. The half-breed rubbed his temples as memories came flooding back to him.

<====}=0 – 0={====>

He moved soundlessly through the night, a dark whisper through the leaves. His passing marked only by a faint breeze through the branches. Tay glided from branch to branch, his wings cupped on either side of him like large, upside down black bowls. Nimble drow feet barely touched down on the limbs, already kicking off to the next one before the heel even touched. Yet despite his speed, his dexterity, they were catching up. Who “they” were exactly, Tay didn’t know, but their malicious intent was clear. They piercing yellow beams confirmed it more than anything.

Tay spat into the leafy darkness, his face set in a frustrated frown. If he rose above tree level, he could fly faster, but he would be clearly exposed to the deadly (or so he assumed) beams. The same could be said for flying above the forest path beneath the branches. Tay hated this situation. Once again, he was hunted, although he wasn’t quite sure for the motivation behind this attack. Not that it took much imagination to come up with a reason. Dark skin and pointed ears said it all.

Perhaps I should just stop and fight these prejudiced cowards. The drow ducked below the branches, flipped over and rotated in mid-air to face his pursers face-to-face, and was hit right in the face with large yellow beam. The last he knew before darkness rose to claim him was of silver boots surrounding his fallen form.

<====}=0 – 0={====>

“I’m glad to see you’re awake.” A voice hissed through a monitor above Tay’s head. The drow looked up, unconsciously placing his other hand on the feathered shaft of an arrow at his waist. “You must be confused as to your presence here, so allow me to explain.” The Voice continued.

“Let me make this completely clear; you cannot escape, so do not even try. Any attempt to do so will end with your recapture, and lots and lots of unnecessary pain on your part.”

The half-drow clicked his tongue against the back of his fangs, rising to his feet. “And why so I believe you?” He asked, fingering the feathered shaft anxiously.

“Because you want to live, obviously. If you don’t believe me, you’re welcome to try and escape. It would be better on your part if you refrained from doing so though. Anyway, you are our prisoner, and will do as we say. If you desire your freedom, you will go through that do in front of you, and fight.”

“Fight?”

“Yes. You are here for our entertainment. Regardless of your desires, you will fight, and you will—depending on your performance—you will either be free, or remain our captive. Of course, there is the possibility that you could die, so I would suggest winning. Even if you lose without dying, we may decide to kill you if you perform poorly. That said, please precede out into the arena. If you value your life, put on a good show.” With that, the Voice cut off, and the door before Tay slid open.

The arena, it would appear, was much like his room. Plain steel surrounded everything, and even made up the floor. The only difference was the ceiling, which was made up of a large red membrane. Looking back down, Tay saw a man standing across from him—his opponent. He was muscular, but almost half a foot shorter than the drow, and if he were any judge of facial expressions, he was in the same situation as Tay.

“It would seem that the only way for me to leave this place is to defeat you.” Tay called out, fitting an arrow to his bowstring, a dark purple aura already coursing around it. “Please don’t think badly of me.”

Re: Hidden Arena (Hyrulian Hero)

OoC: Bout time, ran out of CJ's I assume? (You may have told me this before and I just forgot, if so I apologize!)

BiC:
Krayt looked at his opponet. He was much larger then Krayt, but size definately didnt matter to him. The creature resembled an elf in appearence, but his aura was more of a vampire. Before Krayt could analyze his foe even more, the Elf shot his dark arrow at Krayt.

The arrow merely bounced off of Krayts rock hard exterior, leaving nothing more then a slight sting from the dark magic in it. The pain was much like a needle pricking the tip of a finger, doing no harm to Krayt whatsoever. But Krayt knew that this was just the error in Trial and Error, Krayt had to keep all his surprises ready.

"So your skin is like rock? What do you call yourself anyway?" The elf asked.

"Just call me Hero" Krayt replied. "And your name is?" Krayt asked.

"My name is Tay, and I am a Drow, if you dont know what that is you will find out soon enough...." Tay said as he loaded up another arrow.

Krayt knew that this being was hiding many secrets as well, he had to be on his toes. before he could do anything another arrow fired from his bow, only this one sent krayt flying back about ten feet! It felt like he had been hit with a rock and blown by a gust of wind at the same time! Krayt quickly recovered from the attack and stood up.

After a quick analysis Krayt realized that the Drow's gauntlet was enchanted. Apparently it had some sort of power strike ability, Krayt would have to be ready for another attack like this one.....

OoC: Sorry for such a short post but I gotta go!
